This is almost a ressurection of an old thread of mine back in June of last year..  Except the baby is born this time :)

First off let me just say that I have a beautiful and healthy baby girl named Synthia Leland de St. Germain.  She weighed in at 6 pounds 10 ounces and I couldn't be happier!

I would like to get some feedback from the avid posters on this particular forum.  I'de like to know what you all think of sending energy to a newborn , granted I know a bit about what I'm doing.  I've been experimenting with energy for a couple of years now..although I havent read much about psi or energy really.. I've been experimenting with it on my own extensively.  I've read the N.E.W. article by Robert Bruce and that helped a lot to get me started feeling the energy. I've even gone as far as practicing on many many friends of mine and classmates while I was still in highschool.  I still get people every once in a while that come up to me asking me something like "Hey were you the dude that can make energy come out his hands!!!??  I wanna see!"  and I proceed to surprise the crap out of most of those people I guess because they totally thought it was a joke hehehe....

Anyway , to make a long story short , I believe I have a very good understanding about how to make the energy feel certain ways and how to control the strength of it.  I was just pondering whether or not I should even attempt it on my newborn for various reasons such as sending healing or loving energy or warming the baby during cold weather etc...

I'm a believer that babies as well as young children have a heightened sense to energy. I'm wondering if sending loving energy to the baby would sort of create a spiritual bond of some sort?? Some kind of link perhaps? I'm thinking at least I could send loving or calming energy when the baby is crying or disturbed about something.  I would just like to get some feedback from some of you guys before I really try anything further.

So far after attempting to soothe the baby's stomach ache , it has small but noticable positive effects.  The baby puked up less milk at least. (Since then we switched formulas and she is now doing much better)

Any comments would be appreciated. Unless someone says that what I'm doing could be severely dangerous for the baby's chakras or something then I wont attempt any of it.  But in the meantime I dont see any harm in sending the baby loving energy or possibly healing energy.

If I wanted to take the conversation a little further I'll close with this...
What about attempting to raise the baby's energy through chakra stimulation? What could the effects be later on?

Peace out!!!

Thats a good idea kiwibonga..  There was a period recently where I had alarms set for about 20 minutes after I would put my head down to the pillow and it would wake me up many times throughout the night.. I had up to 2 OBEs one night.. very
vivid OBEs that were completely controllable but the environment kept changing rapidly and randomly on me so I woke up purposefully.  I know that technique is one that would most likely produce random OBEs and definately help you become aware of , play with , and proceed from the hypnagogic state.

Very good point and I can back it up with first hand experiences.  Thanks for bringing up that topic in the thread.

I have the same problem of falling asleep to the hypnagogic imagery.. I can be passively aware of all the stuff and I generally notice my imagery starting to appear only 10 minutes or so after laying my head on the pillow.  My problem is , I always fall asleep to it no matter how hard I try to keep myself awake.  I have left my body many times but each of those times I usually noticed sleep paralysis kick in .. and most of those times I was sitting upright in a hard school desk in a noisy room.. I can't seem to do it quietly in a comfortable bed.. I must need something to pay attention to and music doesnt do it .. This is just what I'm struggling with =/

Good luck!

Welcome LifeShadow,  I can say that I'm totally in love with this forum.. I started posting here a while back maybe a year or two ago if not more and since then , my life has changed so much.  It takes time to go OBE and it takes time to see life the way I do but thats all it takes if you ask the right questions and you focus hard on yourself.  Its good to see you here and I hope you stay here a while.  Its definately one of the best I've seen... theres always someone here to help with a problem or a question you have.

Peace out! And feel free to PM me anytime.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / My 2 cents
January 10, 2007, 22:38:03
Very interesting thread here fellas... I have an experience to share..

I left my body in class one day and had one goal in mind... and that is not rated PG-13 so I'll leave it out .. My astral self was in the school gym and my physical body was in the classroom.  As I was doing something interesting in the gym with my astral self ,I started to become aware of a noise from somewhere I couldnt exactly pinpoint... As I focused more on this noise I figured out where it was coming from.. and the more I focused on it , the more aware of my physical body I became... until the point where I was both aware of my physical body sitting upright in my schooldesk and the astral body in the gym.  The noise was coming from my throat.. It seems as though my physical body was trying to make a grunting noise.. It was quite odd to be aware of both bodies at the same time..  As far as splitting into a third body and being aware of all three???? Well... I don't know what I think about that.. I certainly would not limit myself into believing it's not possible though.

Peace out everyone!

Hey bud.. I would have to agree AndrewtheSinger on this one.. When I first left my body it was pretty much on the third night I was trying a relaxation exercise I got mad because it wasnt working and I must have been at the point where my body had fallen asleep because the anger I started feeling made my body buzz and start seeing through my eyelids .  The first thing I saw was this huge beachball shaped black object was hovering over me.  There was black balls of energy shooting into it from the space around it.  It felt evil.. Then I notice myself feel like my body is curling up into this ball because it felt like every single joint in my body was bending backwords.   My whole body being curled into a ball didnt hurt .. but it was rather freaky..  Anyway I couldnt move during all this and to end it I just willed myself to wake up by jolting around and feeling for my body in its sleeping position..  I woke up freaked out but not scared.. I wanted to do that again because I was so interested in it and especially after I heard that nothing can hurt you I havent had a bad experience like that since.. Its great..

Dont worry about anything man have fun and enjoy it..  Peace out!

Heh , that is an interesting thread fellas.. Thanks for posting it for me.   Good luck putting together the pieces of this puzzle. :)
#33
Hehe thats pretty cool... I just wish I knew what the deal is.. I dont know why I keep seeing them and yes most of the time I catch the clock at 9:11 and 11:11 as well.  I'm just glad to know that I'm not alone with this heheheh.
#34
I have not the slightest clue why everytime I look at a clock 8 or 9 out of 10 times the clock will have an 11 in it somewhere..  and more often than normal I will catch the clock right as it strikes 11:11  ... I just typed a message on one of my other posts here and noticed that I finished it right at 3:11am...  the timestamp on the top of this page I'm looking at states " December 18, 2006, 11:11:47 " ... I've been noticing these 11's for many months now but I'm not sure what to make of it.. I try to think of it as a good sign .. I used to think it might be a warning sign but nothing bad nor good has really come about when I notice these 11s..

Does anyone else have a similar thing going on with them?  What could this mean?  Am I just a freak ? :) :-D

Thank you for that very insightful explanation Chris.  Can you tell me how you came to believe in that philosophy you stated about our energies intermingling with other conciousnesses and about your "local concoiusness" and stuff like that?  It striked a coord with me thats for sure.. I'de love to know where you got that from.

Peace out.

I'm not sure exactly what happened in one OBE I had.  I asked for my spirit guides and a moment later 3 separate people materialized before me.. 2 of them had blue skin just like smurfs and they had white facial hair and long white hair... The third , whom was in a separate room down the hall was normal colored but looked exactly like the other two in the face and facial hair... They all looked the same , just 2 were blue... I did not even get a word out before I woke up from that experience prematurely...

I'm not sure if that was just my OBE turning into a Lucid dream or what but I really doubt my guides would be smurfs eh!? Heh.. Makes sense though.. I think I'm a funny guy always able to produce a laugh from someone and I guess if they were my guides , I shouldn't be surprised if they wanted to crack me up ;)
#37
You might be right , this might be more on the lines of a Lucid dream but really what is the difference in a Lucid Dream and an OBE if you know you are Out of Body?  To me Lucid dreams are ones where I might know I'm dreaming but not think for a second that there might be something I want to do while I'm out... thus , I end up flying or doing other random things.. but  if I manage to think to myself .. "ok I want to go talk to my guides now that I'm dreaming.." Well..  that I consider an OBE .. Yea this one is on the borderline but I was completely aware I was dreaming so I dunno.. *Shrugs*

What do  you guys say would be the line between Lucid Dreaming and an OBE?

I copy and pasted this from my myspace blog .. the address is "www.myspace.com/spiritual_guy"   in case anyone is interested.

I had a funny O.B.E. (Out-of-Body experience) last night...

I started my practice at about midnight and I set up my alarm clock to wake me up 40 minutes later..  I hit snooze countless times before this experience happened...

As soon as I put my head to the pillow after about 20 snoozez I suddenly found myself in a car. It scared the crap out of me because the dream started so quickly after trying to go back to sleep..  This let me know right away I was dreaming and my cousin Brandon was driving.. I told him to stop the car and let me out.  He wouldn't listen to me... the jew!  I looked out the window preparing to jump but it kinda freaked me out a little to jump out going 40 and I didnt want to do anything crazy to lose control and wake out of the experience so I tried to reason with him to stop the car and let me out..  I kept telling him "Dude Stop the car!! I'm dreaming , just let me out , this is all a dream!"  and hes like  "Are you ok!? Man your not dreaming calm down .. whats wrong with you!?"    It was starting to get on my nerves because he wouldnt stop but finally he did and I jumped out the car and started walking.. he followed me still trying to get me back in the car and telling me I was not dreaming.. He almost had me convinced by this time because everything was so real.. as it always seems when I'm "out"... but I just knew I was dreaming so at this point I wanted to shut him up and prove to him that this is a dream.. just to see how he would react..  As soon as this thought came to mind , I heard my snooze alarm start to go off "BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ" I said to him , "Hear that!?  Thats my friggin alarm clock!"  and all of a sudden BAM we are in the room that I was sleeping in and I told him .. look .. try to turn off that alarm clock.. and he kept pressing the button to make it go off but it never did..  then I simply smiled and said "See this is a freakin dream! I told you!"  and I woke up and hit the snooze button for myself.

I remained totally aware that I was out of body throughout the whole experience.. I found it interesting that we were able to communicate so vividly and humorous that he was telling me we werent dreaming lol..

It was really cool hearing the alarm clock go off while still out of body in some yard of someones house and it surprised me that it didnt wake me up right away.. The noise is so aggrivating though that I really didnt want to stay OBE listening to "BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ BUZZ" so I woke myself up to turn it off.. I really need to get a 20 minute timer because thats the second time the alarm clock ruined and OBE for me in the same night.  Thats progress for me though.. I love it!

What do you guys think  :? 8-)

My best friend came across this book in its earlier publications and really really got hooked on it.. It changed his beliefs up quite a bit I'm sure and this is around the time we both started to take different spiritual paths.. now his beliefs changed even more after he started reading "A Course in Miracles" or something like that .. and "The Disappearance of the Universe" , that one by Gary Renard...  those are some interesting books for people who want to get into the "Advanced" stuff.   I'll probably give this book a shot as well as the other 2 I just mentioned.. I know how much of a positive impact it had on his belief system.. I'm looking to branch out my knowledge of this life as well.  Good find.. brings back memories of when he would try to explain some stuff to me a while back and I could not quite grasp a lot that he said until recently.

You can always try to think about it like this...  Maybe you mis-interpreted the feeling your getting... Maybe instead of it being something harmful .. what if it is something or someone trying to help you?  Your guides maybe?    If anything , you can always trick yourself into believing something positive and if this persists with you .. it may be a good idea to find ways to find the good in it instead of focusing on your fears...  Think how many people dont get any sensations like that at all when they practice.  You could just be a tad bit paranoid?  I hope this helps , good luck :)

I think you make a really good point when you say you should try to hold on to a point of focus outside your body (like your smoke alarm) and keep it there for so long to create a separation needed to go OBE..  I've noticed this works fairly well if done at just the right time or really you can start doing this as soon as you lay your head down to practice or sleep to have an OBE.. but for me I like to reach the hypnagogic imagery state by doing some deep relaxation and rythmatic breathing before I start to visualize myself in first person somewhere else in my room.. I sometimes feel like I'm being pulled back to my body as well even before I know I've made a real exit.. its like I have trouble visualizing holding on to the doorknob across the room because it feels like an intense wind is tugging me back into my body.. I'll be adding this as a technique to my website.. thanks for the idea.

I totally can relate to what your saying..

"Something that not only relates to what you are seeing, but a feeling like you had in the dream/preminition."
Like in my dream I was handed a pair of the same old pajamas I'de been wearing but I was told they were new.. and when I woke up , that same day my mother found my favorite pajama pants I havent worn in a year and althoug they werent new either , I still felt similar when recieving them as I did in my dream.

And I agree on them beeing sort of slippery as well because there has only been a select few times where I've woken up and recalled the dreams I had and then they show up.. Most of the time I recall the dreams after something riggers them during the day and the feeling I get is total DJV.

I get kinda paranoid though because I never know when my dreams are going to be real or not .. but I wouldnt have it any other way.  Its just another interesting factor in my life to deal with.

I remember going through similar things when I would practice.. let me ask you this important question..

After your body "returns to normal" do you have this strange urge to change positions.. like.. your not necessarily uncomfortable but you just have the urge to change positions or toss over especially if you force yourself to stay in that position after your body "returns to normal" ?

If so then I know exactly what your going through.. It sounds to me like your "missing the ride" so to speak.. its like your separated or tranced out enough to go OBE but your not putting much concious effort into separating yourself.. Try doing a technique to get out once you are in the state before your body returns to normal.. whether its visualizing yourself somewhere and holding that image in your mind or what I would suggest is try to feel as though you are laying in a somewhat similar position but instead try to feel as though one of your limbs is in a different position like ..  if  you started off with your legs and hands close together , start trying to feel as though you were laying with your legs spread apart of your arms away from your sides.  This is said to create pressure on your astral body and it might be just what you need to get things going for you..

Another thing I would try is this.. when you reach that state.. visualize something that would create a whoom sound... for me one time it was this stick with an orange ball swinging in a circular motion around
this stick and the faster it spun , the quicker the whiffing or whooshing sound the ball made.. this brought on vibrations for me one time and I'm not too sure why but if you've ever had the real vibrations that come with paralysis , I'm sure you can visualize something to sort of recreate that sound you hear as the  vibrations pulse through you.

You can PM me on this issue if you want.. I know this is a very frustrating phase to go through and I'de like to help you.  This took me the longest to figure out how to get past it.. but dont look at it as a block , take it as a learning process.

You know come to think of it, my experiences I posted on this thread really had a lot to do with sleep deprivation and they both occured during a time when I was following a similar sleeping pattern.. For those who are interested , you might find this useful.

Both experiences were probably made possible much easier because of my sleep pattern.. sleep deprivation must have played a major part in them both.

I would go to sleep at about 1:30-2:30am and have to wake up for the first school bus at 6:15...
I would stumble around my room in a zombie-like manor trying not to wake myself up too much and somehow manage to dress myself , brush my teeth and put on my deoderant (if I was lucky).. then I would catch the bus at about 6:30 or 6:45..

I would sleep sitting upright in the bus seat as soon as I sat down because I remember not even opening my eyes hardly at all from the time I woke up to the time I got on the bus .. I found that the more I opened my eyes the more awake I would be so you if you can imagine keeping your eyes to a squinting level the whole time this is going on .. thats how I was even to the point where I made it to my desk in school.. just to not wake myself up too much..

Anyway , so here I am on the bus taking a long power nap until the bus stops at around 7:30 at the middle school... I would then wake up and board the highschool bus (if I was lucky) and take another 15 minute powernap until it reached it's destination..

I would then stand around until the bell started ringing to let everyone into the building and as soon as I reached my classroom with my books (if I was lucky hehe..) I would have one of the experiences I mentioned in my first post.

So basically it went like this
1:30 to 2:30am Bedtime
Wake up at 6:15
Catch first bus at 6:45
Sleep for an on and off (thanks to the bumps) period of 45 minutes
Get on the next bus and sleep another 15 minutes
Stand outside school for another 15 minutes (like a zombie .. everyone knew not to mess with me in the mornings  , I would simply not reply to maintain my half-asleep state)
Then Arrive at my desk roughly at 7:50

When in class I would sit in the desk in the position desribed earlier and wait.. simply listening to the students drag into class and gossip noisily about God know what..  I would passively focus on random conversations while remaining still and comfortable trying to go right back to sleep and by about the time the teacher would quiet everyone to start his lecture I was experiencing vision through my eyelids or paralysis and vibrations running up my spine...

Sometimes I would get caught up in a visualization of what the teacher was lecturing about.. One day he was talking about submarines and I found myself standing in the middle of the pacific on a submarine that was launching missles at another submarine across the way and I didnt realize that I was truly in that scene until it was too late and I drifted off into a dream.. but I remembered when I woke up..

So I think its safe to say that this particular way to leave my body was able to be executed fairly regularly (at least 2-3 times a week) and under similar circumstances (sleep deprived and passively listening to a multitude of random things/distractions around me)...

One interesting thing to note is that once I would feel the vibrations or paralysis come on .. or when I just knew I was about to leave my body , I would feel a smile come onto my physical body's face... its the last thing I felt in my physical body before separate was a grin...  And classmates asked me why I always smile and even giggle while I'm sleeping!! I thought that was quite cool..  They verified for me that I indeed did smile when leaving my body.

So to those of you who believe you need to be completely comfortable , well rested , and in a quiet place to astral project.. toss it out the window because honestly and wholeheartedly I tell you that I've never projected so easily and so often in my life than under these circumstances.

I'm trying to come up with ways to recreate these OBEs without being in school.. Maybe waking up real early in the morning and flipping onto the news (or anything that you would really want to watch) and instead of watching any of it , simply turn a different direction and listen to it , maybe it would keep your mind just active enough to stay awake and your body would go to sleep because you woke it up so early..??

I dont know if I mentioned when my site would be up but it should be up by at least January 12th when I get into college and get into a dorm and stuff. I'll post some more details about what my site contains closer to the launch date.  I hope everyone can gain something from it.. if you like my explanations and theories then it is something worth checking out because it will be filled with mostly my interpretations of things.  I've not done any reading on astral projection other than this forum and posting questions here early on in my development so most of my ideas are simply from me freelance practicing.  It might prove to be a quite different approach on how to achieve astral projection for yourself from a beginner , intermediate , or advanced skill level.

Peace out fellas.

Hey everyone .. I can't keep ignoring these dreams I keep having.. I sleep for insanely long hours of the day sometimes and it seems like the longer I sleep , the more of these little short snippets of dreams actually come true in one way or another..  They are never exactly like I see them happening but they are so out of the blue and when they show up I just cant help but relate that part of the day to something I dreamed about the very night before.. So far each little premonition as i lable it does not happen a day or two after.. its usually that very day after I wake up .. which kinda has me paranoid about any of my dreams.

Example: I dreamed of me shooting targets with a military rifle .. I was at my house shooting these targets up close in the living room.. the dream lasted just a few seconds but was very vivid..

I go to the mall that day and they have this tent set up from the National Guard and inside the tent they have this same military rifle and an LCD screen in the distance that you use the gun to shoot these targets in a field.

Example: I'm holding a baby kitten that has this strikingly beautiful gray colored fur that I havent seen before on any cat.

I wake up and the neighbor outside says Hi and I pet her dog and ask her if it bites.. then she says "No but I'll get the one that does" , out comes my neighbor with her full grown gray colored cat .. same exact color I dreamed about.

Example: I dream my mother hands me a pair of pajama pants that I've always had but for some reason in the dream they were supposed to be new..

I wake up and my mother is going through a bunch of old stuff and comes across my favorite pajama pants that I havent seen in forever and even hands them to me the same way they were folded in the dream... except they were in no way the same color or type of pajama pants.. but the feeling of the pants being Not , "new" but discovered once again was similar to the dream I had.

Example: I dreamed I took a new picture for my license.

I woke up and my roomate comes in and starts talking to my mother about how he just got his new license picture made.

Theres tons of other things but I cant remember anymore off hand..  The odd thing is that , I'll hardly remember any of these dreams until something during the day triggers them back to my memory and when it does its like BAM  total Deja Vu...  except its never exactly how I dream it .. but I feeling that comes over me when I remember them from experiencing something that day really is hard for me to ignore..

Has anyone else experienced stuff like this and is there anyway to get a more clear picture of these dreams and maybe start having them either more often or start having them so that I'll be seeing things how they really will appear throughout the day?  Any ideas?  Thanks

Hey Kie101 , I just wanted to give my 2 cents here..  I've had tons of OBEs and it has changed my life in so many ways.. I never read a single book on "how" to do it.. all I really did to find anything out was ask some questions on this forum and eventually I had enough things to piece together in my mind , my own ideas and ways to accomplish having an OBE for myself.   Books can tell you thinks that might not necessarilly be true and these things can create barriers that limit you..

For instance..  you will read numerous times how you might have to be totally relaxed , totally comfortable , stress free , in a quiet place or whatever  but I can tell you that you can be running 103 fever , in a cold noisy classroom in a hard wooden desk sitting upright with a neck ache and 30 people chatting loudly around you... and you can still go OBE and almost effortlessly I might add..

And NO , I'm not Guru at astral projection.. I find it quite hard to do but I've been researching this stuff pretty much on my own for a couple of years now and its fascinating to say the least..  Just dont believe everything you hear especially when it could hold you back.  But with that being said .. dont be too close minded to what other tell you because you never know when you'll find that bit of truth.

Good luck !

Greetings Okoklo , it sounds like Frostyrose is giving you the advice you need on this one.  Thats what I think is going on .. you may have become aware of your body falling asleep and your still there waiting for a way to exit.. I've experienced the same exact thing so many times and all I could tell you to try is to see how realistic your visualizations become once you are in this state.. try to picture yourself somewhere or a scene in your mind and see if its any more real than if you would try to picture it right now reading this..  You may notice that thats all the effort you need to make in order to leave your body once you reach that state you've described.. or if that doesnt do it for you try to experiment with something such as point shifting where you try to feel your body laying in a different position than it is.. or since you notice that you can't feel your body anymore.. try to instead of feeling for your physical body , try to feel as though you are laying in a position that you know to be similar to the one you are actually laying in .. and see if anything happends for you.. This may just bring on much stronger vibrations , astral sight , or you might naturally shift to that astral body you've created and be able to simply get up and experience the OBE..  Like I said , give different things a shot once you reach that point of not being able to feel your body and especially if you are feeling vibrations.. If you really are feeling the vibrations that is coupled with full body paralysis then you should have no problem focusing on how those vibrations make you feel and turning that into an OBE by simply messing with them.

How long does it take you to reach this state your talking about?  What did you do prior to reaching the state?  How long till your body "returns to normal" and is there anything that triggers it?

Answer those and maybe we could help you a little more.  Feel free to PM me if you want.  Peace

I just thought I should mention my findings on what I come to believe as ways to create pressure on your astral body to start an OBE or induce strong vibrations.

I've found out that you can create pressure on your astral body simply by putting yourself in a situation where your mind will worry about it.. heres an example..

I'm in science class one morning and I'm quite tired...  I'm sitting in my desk as everyone comes in to begin class and I prop my foot up on the lab counter ahead of me... my other foot Is underneith me.. I'm sitting on it.. and the other foot is firmly planted on this mini lab counter ahead of me.. the shoe's grips are holding it into place without it sliding onto the floor.. I can remember that I'm vaguely thinking of how my shoe might lose grip and fall to the floor waking me up but I ignore it..

Then I can feel myself starting to drift off to sleep.. but my foot is falling of the counter!! So I move my foot to reposition it where it was before , BUT , to my surprise.. it hasnt moved in the first place... this happends a couple more times before I realize that it hasnt moved at all and that it was not going to move.. so I figure I would ignore this foot slipping feeling and just let it fall next time it starts feeling that way again..

So here it goes again , the foot starts slipping.. this time I ignore it.. then right before it should have hit the floor it slows down it's falling momentum and begins to feel very light and floaty .. then I realize I'm in paralysis because I can start to hear the "whoom woom" sounds of vibrations.

That experience has stuck in my mind for a long time now and I started to put some pieces of this puzzle together here recently.. take this next example for instance..

I'm in an uncomfortable wooden schooldesk in American History class..  I can't put my head down on the desk because the teacher will not like that so , being the rebel I was , I found a way to sit up and fall asleep in that class instead. (Yeah I was a big slacker in highschool)..   So I would get in the exact same position each day which went a little like this...  I would be sitting on one foot meaning it was under my arse and the other foot was either resting on the floor or on one of the support legs of the desk below me or cocked to the side so that my foot rested inside the desk where you should normally put your books.. anyway it doesnt matter about the feet in this situation..I would have my left hand positioned in my lap palm up , cupping my right elbow .. my right hand palm up , cupping my lips.. .my head pointed down so that my lips met my hand and yes this position looks painful and for the most part wasnt too comfortable.. So my back was hunched over , my head bent down , not too comfortable but just enough to let me fall asleep..  In this position my spine was sort of hitting the back of the chair in an uncomfortable way so I had to sit more to one side of the chair so that my boney spine wouldnt be poking against the hard surface as much as it was... this made me worry about falling out the chair sideways once I fell asleep**

Well , after a while I would start slipping out the chair and when I did I would try to reposition myself but again to my surprise .. I hadn't moved at all...  the same situation as the above experience with my foot slipping..  except my worry of my back sliding out the side of the desk was causing my whole backside to separate.. leading to vibrations and more noticably in this instance , astral vision.

I never once fell out that desk like that but before I knew what was really going on I decided "ok enough with this slipping crap , I'm just gonna fall out next time!" and so I did just that .. but I fell out of body .. my physical body was still safely in the desk.. it was so cool to separate like that effortlessly but so scary because I could not tell if I was really slipping out or if it was going to happen the way it did.. I got astral sight when I was just inches away from the floor.

This realization has opened my mind to all sorts of ideas and techniques  that I will be posting on my website soon.. I'm assuming this is a way to create pressure on your astral body by simply creating some kind of subconcious fear or worry..  It was simply the worry of my foot slipping off the lab counter that made me somehow focus more on that particular limb and made me aware of it's separation right at the time of sleep.. same thing with my body slipping out the side of the chair.. I remember being very concious of my body and particularly my spine area and worrying that at the point of sleep when my body went more limp and limber that I would not fall out the desk.. it felt like breathing would make me slip more and more off to one side as well when it really didnt.. so that might be important to note when creating your own technique..

I'm working on a way to put this into simpler terms so when my website is up I'll post the link and let everyone in on all these fresh new techniques I've come up with and more importantly the answers to why I believe they work in the first place as well as disecting some of the more popular techniques and methods already out there on the web that have helped so many people experience and OBE..  I've always been one to try to figure out the How's and Why's of something and when it comes to my favorite hobby of astral projection , what a challenging phenomena to figure out ;)

Let me know what you all think about this "Astral Pressure with your subconcious worry" thing. Like first of all .. what else could I call it?  hehe

Peace out!

PS: Its not going to be up for another month or two but my website will be  http://www.freewebs.com/project_astral

Its basically just underconstruction but it will have  3 main parts for techniques .. Beginner, Intermediate,  and Advanced .. and A "Breakdown" section to get people familiar with some of the terms I'll be using like "astral body , chakra , vibrations" just to name a few.  Its going to be a website that anyone from any level of astral projecting will be able to gain something from as well as a way for me to offer my own theories on how the process works.. I'll have a message board and stuff on there and will always be open to answering mail from anyone if they have any questions.  I dont ever plan for it to be a huge hit .. I'm just aiming to helping someone experience something like an OBE that has changed my life in so many ways. Expect it to be working nicely in mid January when I'm off to college and have access to the net to start posting my pages up there.. I would have it up earlier but my computer is sitting in a place with no internet and my DvD burner isnt working so I cant get the pages I made to the webserver =/ Bleh..
Later!

Thanks for your input fellas .. and about the possibility of me not being able to create it in the first place.. that thought has crossed my mind early on when I found out about this stuff but countless times I've tried to  do energy on someone and not tell them what they would feel and I've proved it to myself that I am in fact controlling it quite well most of the time..

For instance , when I was still in highschool I would attempt to make energy in between my hands and I would make it extremely hot and when someone would stick their hand in , I've had a couple of people take it out instantly and yell "ouch that burned like fire!"  and this of course would attract others to try it as well with similar results.. I've even toyed with it in some situations to do it on someone who wasnt looking and have them turn around and tell me "stop it that stuff feels so wierd!"  ..   I would do it on someone's shoe as they had their back turned and most of the time it would create a deep tickling sensation for them.  Then there was two people on the bus that would feel it extremely strong and I loved messing with them cause I could throw a ball at them from 8 seats down and they would feel it..

Of course I questioned all this in my head to make sure I wasnt fooling myself or anyone else into false beliefs but numerous times I've proven it to be quite real.

There was one person whos arm I made completely numb and useless.. this amazed me because I didnt know it could have this effect on someone.. His arm started tingling and going numb and then just dropped and he claimed that he couldnt move it nor could he feel it.. he then picked his arm up with his other arm and slammed it very painfully down onto the metal parts of the desk without wincing in pain one bit.. that was prove enough to me that it happened.

There was one instance where I had a girlfriend of mine who never felt the energy when I tried it on her so I did some reasearch and came across an article on energy blockages and someone had mentioned opening a chakra to get someone to feel the energy.. I went to school the next day and got her to sit down in the library as I opened one of her palm chakras and to my surprise she felt the energy strongly all of a sudden.. this was the first time she felt it after at least 3 or 4 different attempts weeks prior.. and what really got me was that she felt itchy tingling sensations going up that same arm and to the center of her back for at least 2 hours AFTER I did it to her.. I remember her telling me she felt it on the entire busride home and a little while after she got home before it subsided.. and she said it was very annoying after a while because not only did it tingle but it itched like crazy.. Then I verified that the itchy feeling could have been because of energy movement due to the opened chakra..  I thought I should mention that.. since then I've only been able to open someone's chakra to get them to feel it maybe one other time.. so this is not always a sure way to do it.

andonitxo is right ,  sometimes simply by trying to have an OBE in the vibrational state is enough to end it all together.  What I would do when I get vibes is think about how they are making me feel at that moment and recreate it in my mind while they are still there to be felt in the first place.. What that seems to do for me is increase them like crazy.  And I'm assuming when you are in the right state to go OBE this is a good way to induce them when they haven't yet hit you.   I hope this gives you an idea.. I would suggest playing around with them a couple of times to get a feel for how your mind needs to be thinking in order to make the vibes either get stronger , weaker , or move to different parts of your body.. then you will feel confident on being able to take it further next time they come if you happen to ruin it while toying with them.

Using the interrupted sleep technique is a good way to induce vibes easily.  Just use your alarm clock and set it for like an hour or so after you go to sleep for it to wake you up and keep hitting snooze.. see if you can reach the vibrations easier this way.  Good luck!
