^yeah definitely. I wouldnt have been ready a few years ago, but now i am. It seems to be happening quite slowly (and i have been a bit slack on practice) but all my chakras are opening in balance, so its good that one isnt racing ahead of the others

People obviously have their costs to cover, as they are running a business just like other people, even if they are not doing it to become rich they still want to stay 'in the black'.  I spent maybe £160 on some remote viewing/remote influencing tapes to listen to and the spiritual boost i got from that was WAY above the money i paid for them, I've had a new sense of calm and energy awareness ever since and paying 10 times that amount would still be great value for money. I did a FREE online course in astral travel which worked -  - and there are loads of free ebooks and forums like this around so I would say that it isnt expensive at all. Go back to pre internet times and it would be a lot harder to get hold of this information so it would cost you more.

and others referencing the scale C D E F G A B as the seven major chakras, and the corresponding colours aswell, ie C is red, D is orange..... which is interesting to me as i see/feel notes as colours aswell as pitch

Read 'The Astral Body' by A E Powell, it has LOADS of good stuff in it.  Apparently animals share a group soul for their species and the consciousness is returned to that at death. When an animal becomes individualised (like a domestic pet) after death it can start reincarnating as a human. something like that....

I agree with Mustang. Nothing should be taken at face value but investigated and then filtered through your intelligence and reasoning. However, if benefits can be gained through crystals psychosomatically, doesn't this invalidate modern pharmaceuticals, with their enormous profit margins and long list of side effects? If you can cure yourself through the power of the mind why bother with medicines at all? Since I had my first session with a local energy healer (3 months of tendonitis gone in 3 days-woohoo!) I haven't see a doctor since.

I'm definitely going to try sleeping with a crystal on my brow and see what happens - but I sleep on my side and toss and turn a fair bit, is it ok to keep the crystal there with sticky tape?

Also, does how clear the crystal is affect how powerful it is?

I LOVE heavy metal, but not all of it, the really shouty stuff where you cant hear whats going on. What's the point of writing lyrics that cant be heard?

But I dont find it depressing to listen to, the more technical bands I find really inspiring, like Dream Theater and Symphony X. Everything has its place though, I listen to a lot of classical and jazz aswell

lol, when i had strep, i hallucinated that the throw pillows on my couch were conspiring to attack the tv. and that i had to choose a side. at least the voices came from the pillows. i dunno. they were talking about attacking"it" and how they would do it. lol. they were so lazy. all they did was talk, they never did anything. too afraid to go on head to head with my tv, i guess.

Some strange hypnagogic imagery, seeing through my (physical) eyelids before a projection.

Actually, the strangest was a hallucination when I was ill with a stomach bug - my sheets turned into a moving block of wood and my right foot grew enormously big and I got sucked into it. I turned to look at the room and the floor was covered in badly drawn cartoon cats .      I can laugh about it now but at the time i was like wtF?!?!

I was having a semi-lucid dream, and a man appeared (I got the impression of 'male') and he was wearing a naval uniform.  There was a white wall and he said that if I ran in to it (Back to the Future style!) I would  be transported  into the astral.  I took his advice and in a flash I was back in my bed but rising up to the wall. I floated through the wall and hovered above the stairs. I got freaked out by this point and was snapped back to waking.

Intuitively I feel that the wall represented my fear as I had almost projected before but fear had got the better of me. The appearance of this person in my dream gently nudged me towards my first projection, and I felt completely at ease around them

Cool, I'll carry on as I have been doing. I haven't noticed any tingling on the fingertips but now I will look out for it

When I meditate I can feel the 7 chakras open and the cool breeze from the top of my head. 

I have recently been working on opening the palm chakras and yesterday I could really feel something, and then a burning sensation in my left palm for a little while. I take it this is the chakra being cleansed? No burning today in either hand and I could feel more energy. Also, since visiting an energy healer about some ankle problems (achilles tendons very tight/sore) my foot chakras have opened and seem to be active a lot of the time                                                                           

I've had some pretty intense vibrations, it definitely felt like the physical body (and the sleeping bag I was in at the time) were shaking. Does this actually happen or is it just the astral parts moving?

Is it the air form that I have been experiencing then?

Last year when I was meditating, as I was coming out of it I could feel a cool breeze flowing over my ears.

Now when I do a chakra meditation, starting from Root to Crown I then feel a cool wave of energy flowing out of the top of my head and down my shoulders. On a couple of occasions I could feel my aura a couple of inches away from the skin
