I took moving video w/digital camera of a lunar eclipse.  Looked similar - just saw the moon but no stars in my pics either.  Guess the moon is so bright it blocks out all the other light.  ?

Good, I hope you're able to come up with some "memory". But if not, well, I know how that goes.

I'll be looking forward to your post...

Very interesting you two!  (Talanay and Novice)

I'd like to ask you both if you also "felt" their feelings? Can you remember?

In my one "dream" experience, I was also giddy in a sense. I was elated that I was there with her. And I only became nervous or a bit "freaked-out" when it began to feel way too real. And that is when I asked her, if I was dreaming or if it was a dream.  To which she answered - no, you're not dreaming.

I don't recall a screen.  Very interesting. Can you remember your surroundings in that experience - either of you?

I would have to agree with you.  I am by no means vouching for the validity of the info I posted.  It's something I found to answer a question.  But in the movie by Neale Donald Walsch called, Indigo Children, you might find more answers.

Because his take on these children is not "typical".  Not every teen or elementary school child can foresee events, "know" how another is feeling and be right, and then also seem to "know" when others like them are around.  These seemed to be traits that were atypical of the rest of the population but typical of Indigos.

Check out the movie.  Now I warn you, it's a sleeper - in the sense that it's low budget.  But IF you have an interest in INDIGO CHILDREN you'll enjoy it.  It follows the life of an older man that has to take care of his granddaughter - and he is initially unwilling.  While spending time with her, he discovers how special she really is.  And it is through this "revealing" that you'll see what seperates the Indigo Children from the rest of us.   :-D

instead of clarifying things I have even more questions. quote from Andrewthesinger

Andrew:

Isn't that the TRUTH! After this regression I just had to wonder, am I making this stuff up? Or did I somehow tap into some memory and maybe I have more in there that if I dig I can get some sort of information that I can cooberate?

That's what I'd hope for as someone suggested earlier. I know I had one name: Anna. But how many Annas are there in this world - millions probably. So, it doesn't really help.

I bought a book called, Past Life Regression for Dummies, and another that is deemed the Last Reincarnation book you'll ever need.  Haven't really sat down to "read" either of them in depth.

But what AP glimpses did you have, Andrew?  IF you can remember.

Hey Jen,

Sorry I didn't respond here - I must have breezed by it.    I think Andrew's suggestion about asking yourself how you felt after the procedure is a good one. So many people have very distinct feelings about these events/experiences/dreams that yours might give you a clue.

Also, I don't recall whether it was on this forum but someone gave me a GREAT piece of advice:  Look at any of those "dreams" as just that first.  Try and decipher their meaning through metaphor and symbolism. So, ask yourself, what the objects in your dream represent to YOU.

If this doesn't proves fruitless then still try and remember your feelings -

Did you feel frightened?
Did you want to do this?
Were you feeling co-erced?
Where you relieved when you woke?
Did you take on some new sense in your life, some new purpose?
Were you in pain?
Were you angry?

Look at it in a dream format first - not saying it was a dream, but sometimes if we "fool" our minds and take the pressure off, we can have better insight.

Just my two cents - about all it's worth.  I wish you luck and keep us up to date.  Like to hear what you finally conclude or how you work through it.   :-)

I've recently begun wondering if they are really from far away or just from another dimension? Perhaps they have been able to project for a long time and have observed us in this way.  If they are able to manifest, meaning create what they want (like we are all supposed to be able to do on the astral plane) then perhaps they are manifesting themselves in certain ways or showing us things in that way. I'm not really sure how or what I'm trying to say other than - I'm not certain the are from far away - and I'm not certain that take everyone physically. Perhaps much communication is done on the mental level - dream level - astral level?

I really don't know just pure supposition.

Anyone see these DVDs or read these books? I just watched both last night and have read both books before seeing the movie.  They were both much better than I had anticipated.

Curious as to their similarities and how I'm finding that most of these books are saying very similar things.  We are energy forms here to remember what we are and to move us into a new state of being (higher evolutionary path).

There is a current movement, according to the Celestine Prophecy that is going on.  Any thoughts on this topic?

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: Aura seeing
March 26, 2007, 08:39:59
After watching the Celestine Prophecy I tried again to see my aura.  I did the index fingers just a centimeter apart thing and saw what I believe to be a thin lime green light that was outlining my fingers. I found it hard to keep the vision. But it seemed to me that the aura also had a white light closest to the skin - that may have been my poor ability to see it but that's what I saw.

OH! I also found that squinting my eyes and letting them blur in and out really helped bring it into focus especially after it would fade. I was also tired and my eyes blurred more naturally.. heh, heh!

but I'm going to try again today to see if I can continue this technique.

I have a book by Robert Bruce - have to look that up about the auras but I also have a book that is strictly on auras.  "How to See and REad the Aura" by Ted Andrews.

Violetlight!

How very cool!  Your story is similar to mine in the way you came to this realization of what might be happening to you.  I've had vivid dreams much of my life.  Mostly in the last 15-20 years the dreams became grander - bigger! I've always been fascinated with them and have had dream books around.

Thing is - is that no one around me had dreams in the same way I do/did. So, I bought books. My dreams have always sent me messages and I haven't always understood the messages (my new conclusion) but they are insightful.

This most recent dream of astral projecting was just too amazing to ignore! And I recently found a sight that describes Golden Light auras. I don't know which sites to believe but they all seem to say that it's a good thing and not a bad thing so I won't worry about!   :-D

Have you seen auras in the waking state? I just tried again last night and "think" I was successful. I'll try again today.

Welcome to the site and I look forward to your postings and you sharing your experiences!

Most welcome -

As a summary, here are the ten attributes that best describe this new kind of child, the Indigo Child

    * They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it)
    * They have a feeling of "deserving to be here," and are surprised when others don't share that.
    * Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents "who they are."
    * They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
    * They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
    * They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and don't require creative thought.
    * They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any system).
    * They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
    * They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did").
    * They are not shy in letting you know what they need.

and... just in case you heard otherwise from other "indigo" sources, the designated word "Indigo" has nothing to do with the color of an aura! It is the result of scientific observations by a woman who has the brain disorder called synesthesia.

From the site: http://www.indigochild.com/

It is from Doreen Virtue's article Indigo and Crystal Children: (http://www.starchild.co.za/what.html)

The first thing most people notice about Crystal Children is their eyes, large, penetrating, and wise beyond their years. Their eyes lock on and hypnotize you, while you realize your soul is being laid bare for the child to see. Perhaps you've noticed this special new "breed" of children rapidly populating our planet. They are happy, delightful and forgiving. This generation of new lightworkers, roughly ages 0 through 7, are like no previous generation. Ideal in many ways, they are the pointers for where humanity is headed ... and its a good direction!

The older children (approximately age 7 through 25), called "indigo Children", share some characteristics with the Crystal Children. Both generations are highly sensitive and psychic, and have important life purposes. The main difference is their temperament. Indigos have a warrior spirit, because their collective purpose is to mash down old systems that no longer serve us. They are here to quash government, educational, and legal systems that lack integrity. To accomplish this end, they need tempers and fiery determination.

Those adults who resist change and who value conformity may misunderstand the Indigos. They are often mislabeled with psychiatric diagnoses of Attention Deficit with Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) or Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD). Sadly, when they are medicated, the Indigos often lose their beautiful sensitivity, spiritual gifts and warrior energy..........In contrast, the Crystal Children are blissful and even-tempered. Sure, they may have tantrums occasionally, but these children are largely forgiving and easy-going. The Crystals are the generation who benefit from the Indigos trailblazing. First, the Indigo Children lead with a machete, cutting down anything that lacks integrity. Then the Crystal Children follow the cleared path, into a safer and more secure world.

The terms "Indigo" and "Crystal" were given to these two generations because they most accurately describe their aura colours and energy patterns. Indigo children have a lot of indigo blue in their auras. This is the colour of the "third eye chakra", which is the energy center inside the head located between the two eyebrows. This chakra regulates clairvoyance, or the ability to see energy, visions, and spirits. Many of the Indigo children are clairvoyant

The Crystal Children have opalescent auras, with beautiful multi-colours in pastel hues. This generation also shows a fascination for crystals and rocks......

Indigo Children can sense dishonesty, like a dog can sense fear. Indigos know when they're being lied to, patronized, or manipulated. And since their collective purpose is to usher us into a new world of integrity, the Indigos inner lie-detectors are integral. As mentioned before, this warrior spirit is threatening to some adults. And the Indigos are unable to conform to dysfunctional situations at home, work, or school. They don't have the ability to dissociate from their feelings and pretend like everything's okay ...unless they are medicated or sedated.

Crystal Children's innate spiritual gifts are also misunderstood. Specifically, their telepathic abilities which lead them to talk later in life.

In the new world which the Indigos are ushering in, we will all be much more aware of our intuitive thoughts and feelings. We won't rely so much upon the spoken or written word. Communication will be faster, more direct, and more honest, because it will be mind to mind. Already, increasing numbers of us are getting in touch with our psychic abilities. Our interest in the paranormal is at an all-time high, accompanied by books, television shows, and movies on the topic.

So, it's not surprising that the generation following the Indigos are incredibly telepathic. Many of the Crystal Children have delayed speech patterns, and its not uncommon for them to wait until they're 3 or 4 years old to begin speaking. But parents tell me they have no trouble communicating with their silent children. Far from it! The parents engage in mind-to-mind communication with their Crystal Children. And the Crystals use a combination of telepathy, self-fashioned sign language, and sounds (including song) to get their point across.

The trouble comes about when the Crystals are judged by medical and educational personnel as having "abnormal" speaking patterns. It's no coincidence that as the number of Crystals are born, that the number of diagnoses for autism is at a record high.

It's true that the Crystal Children are different from other generations. But why do we need to pathologize these differences? If the children are successfully communicating at home, and the parents are'nt reporting any problems... then why try to make a problem? The diagnostic criteria for autism is quite clear. It states that the autistic person lives in his or her own world, and is disconnected from other people. The autistic person doesn't talk because of an indifference to communicating with others.

Crystal Children are quite the opposite. They are among the most connected, communicative, caring and cuddly of any generation. They are also quite philosophical and spiritually gifted. And they display an unprecedented level of kindness and sensitivity to this world. Crystal Children spontaneously hug and care for people in need. An autistic person wouldn't do that!

In my book "The Care and Feeding of Indigo Children", I wrote that ADHD should stand for Attention Dialed into a Higher Dimension. This would more accurately describe that generation. In the same vein, Crystal Children don't warrant a label of autiem. They aren't autistic! They're AWE-tistic!

These children are worthy of awe, not labels of dysfunction. If anyone is dysfunctional, it's the systems that aren't accommodating the continuing evolution of the human species. If we shame the children with labels, or medicate them into submission, we will have undermined a heaven-sent gift. We will crush a civilization before its had time to take roots. Fortunately, there are many positive solutions and alternatives. And the same heaven that sent us the Crystal Children can assist those of us who are advocates for the children.........

The following is an extract from Celia's forthcoming book,"The Indigo-Crystal Adventure". which explains more about the metaphysical aspects of the Indigo-Crystal experience.

Just to get you started....

Thanks James and Andew:

Unfortunately for me, I don't have anything to confirm. Perhaps another regression would give me that but it felt too contrived to me. Like my mind was giving the hypnotherapist something because she asked it of me. Do you know what I mean? And it all felt like my imagination which I have a vivid one!

Although I've read that imagination is the most important part of most of these type of experiences. (reincarnation remembrance, APing, pyschic abilities...) I've read that the imagination is the part of us that allows our minds to connect on those particular levels.

So, it would seem that those that have a more "active" imagination would have  far greater opportunity for encountering some of these experiences.  Hence why my husband (the accountant, economist) has never experienced such things and doesn't believe they exist AT ALL!   :-P

Did they know they were making you suffer? And do you recall their appearance, what it looked like where you were?  Was this an AP experience or physical? You seem to want to talk about it and I'm willing to listen. But I understand if you don't want to get into it too deep.   :-)

Ooooh cool!  Where I was it was bathed in a white light. Very bright but just beautiful. I believe I was the only thing that was Golden there. Also, everything was quiet and I've heard so many talk of sounds but I don't recall sounds of any kind.  Manybe I wasn't able to hear them or maybe I just don't remember them?

The 5th Chakra is where I believe I exited from when on the astral plane itself. From the back of my neck on the large bone of the spine.

I just read a bit of Frank Kepple's info and found an intriguing similarity. He mentions helpers - and I'm not certain that I was a helper, but the interesting thing is that my main purpose for being there I KNEW was to help.

What about you? If you've posted somewhere in experiences I'd LOVE to read them. I am wondering where you've been and what you've seen and how you got there? Consciously? Unconsciously?

Last night, I think I "glimpsed" my aura? It had a greenish tint to it - almost a lime green color. And close to the skin it was white - the outer seemed greenish.  It was only my hand/fingers so I can't be sure. It was really cool though.  Been trying to do that on and off for a little while.

Golden Light

PS I am going to post something about The Celestine Prophecy and Conversations with God as I have read the books and watched the DVDs last night.  They way they suggested to see an aura prompted me to try again!   :-D

The first thing that disturbed me is that I was taken to him quote by CTFTraveler

Hmmm, that's interesting. Why would one if us exhibit fear and another not? I mean have they harmed you prior to this event? Had you been taken before?  This isn't a judgement upon whether you should have feared them or not it's simply a question in my mind as to what triggered your fear yet mine and Andrew's (if I remember correctly) wasn't triggered.

And not to say that maybe we shouldn't have been afraid - in fact, I think it's odd that I wasn't. I think your reaction makes more sense and I don't understand mine.

CTFTraveler:

When I looked at myself in the mirror, I too had one or two 'leathery' patches, which looked like it was peeling off.  It was as if my 'human' look was popping through the 'leathery' exterior, which was coming off.
It seems contradictory in a symbolic way, doesn't it?
and went on to have more positive experiences.

I wonder if that indicated that either you are just like them underneath it all or maybe they are like you underneath it all? We are the same? Just a guess as it seems very symbollic.  Perhaps a way they tried to communicate something and it was not communicated or understood?

Also, what other experiences can you recall with them? You mentioned you thought it was AP and I have recently thought mine might have been that too as it occurred during the night in bed. It was only after this experience that I had my next dream/ap where I perceived myself as golden light. Am interested in your other experiences as they relate to these beings and you.

Andrewthesinger:

I wish they would come back if for no other reason than to affirm what I felt, saw, dreamt the first time around. It's like this odd experience hanging out there all by itself. I wonder what the photos are about? Did you have any sense as to this purpose?

All:

Been wondering if anyone of you recalls dreams from childhood about animals creeping into your room or coming out from behind doors and then "attacking you". Repeated dreams - like not just one time but many nights in a row or months in a row.

Also, I remembered that while I was having these same dreams of being attached by a black cat creeping out from behind the dark space behind my bedroom door, I also called my Dad to my bedroom at night to tell him a UFO was in our backyard???? I was in elementary school.  Now, when he got there - of course there was no UFO. And he got very angry with me. But I wonder first of all, why I would do that? And second of all, the timing with the animal behind the door thing just struck me as odd. As I've read recenlty they can appear as different creatures/beings. I don't have any sense that I saw a UFO then, but I just remembered doing that. I did have a big imagination but I used it mostly with my younger brothers. I can't fathom why I would call my dad in at night to tell  him one landed in our backyard -but then again, kids will be kids???

Ideas/thoughts?

I went through hypnotic regression at the Edgar Cayce Ctr in Va. Beach Va. I imagined/remembered three different persons that I was. I don't know how to verify these images. One was in the 40's or 50's I think and I was marrying and then driving wiht my husband along a rocky cliff over-looking a large body of water. Our car went over that cliff and we both died.

Another was in biblical times (?) and I wandered through a marketplace. The next image I had was of being hung. They believed I was a thief. I recall thinking I didn't steal anything.

My last image was of an elderly woman lying in bed. Dying. The window by her bed was open and the curtains  were blowing inside. She was peaceful and I think a family member was with her.  Essentially she'd lived a full life but was waiting to die.

Some interesting notes: I have always been afraid of water and crossing bridges. I don't like crossing bridges as I'm afraid of going over the edge and ending up in the water. I don't like things around my neck - like turtlenecks. Feels constricting. I've been fascinated with Biblical times and I despise lying. Always have.

Anyone have any suggestions for confirming this in my own mind? How does one KNOW if these experiences/images are real?

I was curious as to your age only because I found in another forum the ages seemed to be closely linked. As in the majority of one particular site seemed to be posters all from their 30's to early 40's.  (mainly) I had wondered if this age group was unique in some way as to have these strange experiences?

PS there is a movie by Neale Donald Walsch called Indigo Children.  It's not exactly "good" but is interesting. It's a low budget film but worth a looksee if you are interested in this term.
