mmm, OBe's people use to be able to enter other peoples body's deliberatly, governemnts have done this, i would say on more than one occasion as... lets say they did a good job at it...

ummm I seriously doubt that dude. If that was possible I think a government agent would have taken of Osama Bin Laden's body years ago to shoot himself LOL!

Man if this was true I think there would be be loads of reports of "posessions".

So if your feeling your body going numb and "not there" then its good so I been looking around to try and see methods of whats best when you try not feeling your body to lead up to an OBE.

What is the 1 way which is considered best for not feeling your body I mean for physical body "dissociation?" I am guessing its just the simple laying dead still and relaxing deeply.

So what do you people think is the best method for this pls.

Ok, I'm going to be as coherent as I can:  You never really know if it's going to work- you just get to the point when you think it might work, and then try.  Now, the 'perfect time' feels different for many people, and will be different to the same person one time and not another- so you experiment and figure out what seems the right time- for me it's the time where I see and hear things, for others is when the vibes start, others is where the vibes stop- but the important thing is not to think you're done trying if it doesn't seem to work- just go back to trance and try again when you think you're ready again.
What is try?  For me it is to do noticing, and then to do energy body loosening, and then to do an exit attempt.  And then see what happens.

K thx for this but when your in Theta or whatever it is when your in the deep relaxing state to attempt OBE I mean when your totally disconnected can you make your mind come back to think "its time to try and project" ? and if you do is that a risk of breaking the trance or deep relaxed state? I think this too I think I may be so relaxed I am unaware of trying but then I think if I suddenly try and come back to remembering why I am doing the relaxing it will come into my mind to try and exit but I fear by then I would have broken trance. You think it works like that?

Pls answer if your experienced.

K this is killing me! while I can relax for long enough and trance out for long enough there is still something bugging me in my mind which I think hinders my progress. The problem is this:

I don't know when to actually attempt to project. I will often zone out and totally detach from whats going on and lose myself imagining a peaceful scene and such sometimes using binarual beats but I will often be so "lost" I would have missed the opportunity to project for the simple reason I am not thinking and not aware to try and OBE because I am so detached so by the time I have finished the session I would have not projected. So commonly when your relaxed and feel detached enough when is the time that you know if you attempt to project you will? what is the common sign pls from a trance or half sleepy half awake type state. And pls don't say something like "relax and you'll know when" I am looking for distinctive que's for knowing your ready for the exit out stage. otherwise I thinki its hopeless for me.

thx.

So I been going over many peoples OBE experiences here and elsewhere but even the most experienced projectors seem to have very short OBE's. Why is this? is there a reason people seem to only be able to be outside their physical body an average of 10 to 20 minutes? whats your longest time out? and how long did it actually feel like had passed also.
#32
So for those who project from lucid dreams pls lets talk about the transaction in consciousness from once you are in the dream then the transaction into the astral. Many say lucid dreaming IS astral projection but I think many who know how to OBE properly would say that OBE's are way more intense and real than a lucid dream and while lucid dreams have some degree of clarity you are still not in control like an OBE which I would have to conclude based on my research on seeing the general differences between standard lucid dreams and an OBE.

So for all those lucid dreamers .....what does the transaction feel like? do you suddenly just become a whole lot more clearer from your dream consciousness? pls tell.

This one for people who are experienced with phasing.......so when your attempting to phase do you people find the best time to try is when you are drifting to sleep or meditating or relaxing? please say what is the most effective state to try and phase from and why. Thx.
#34
K so I been talking to a man my father knows who I did not actually know was interested in OBE's until now but he seems experienced in techniques. The 1 thing he told me is the only thing that matters with a technique is as long as you FEEL like your body's behind you and your no longer in it then attempting any technique will work.

So is this true? is every technique simply a matter of "not feeling your physical body anymore" to exit?
#35
What is the best mind condition to attempt to phase from? would you say it was best to try when about to sleep or relaxation or? and any particular position which is the best?
#36
What was the product you used pls.
#37
With Phasing I don't seem to have much luck with it. I have been very relaxed and found my body mellow as well as my senses while I am looking into the darkness of my closed eyes but NOTHING in the darkness I am gazing into seems to take shape or form. Ideally I am looking to visualize a setting of a waterfall location in the darkness I am gazing into which I hope I can phase into directly also while listening so a water rushing binarual beats sounds which I feel may help when trying to imagine then eventually see and enter a waterfall setting but usually after about 40 mins I give up.

So any phasers out there.....how do YOU do it please. What technique exactly to you do and how long roughly does it take you? do youfind yourself staring into the darkness of closed eyes for hours before anything comes which you can enter after the body feels distant? also do you always image the image you want to go into while looking into darkness. Thx.
#38
K I am need for some assistance from ONLY anyone experienced in using binarual beats (or isochronic tones) to initiate OBE state.

I want to talk to someone who uses them to reach their desired state to OBE from. PLEASE if you are experienced with these answer me here or private message me. This is important for me. Thanks.
#39
and start to feel like you are going to move away from your physical body? please don't reply with things like "it varies" or "it depends on..." I am just trying to get VERY average times in my mind in general from lots of people in general.

So please how long does it take YOU (and list your technique pls)
#40
I've read techniques and am looking for another to try but I am confused at the workings of many which often describe focusing inwards or outwards. Which is best to do? with focusing inwards I don't think makes sense to me as the whole point of an OBE technique is to go outside of yourself but saying relaxing and to look inside yourself makes no sense to me if you want to "go out" yourself as to project you should forget about your physical body.

So if you want to project successfully should you really be looking to think of yourself outside of your body or focusing inwards yourself?
#41
How does this technique work? someone else mentioned it in another post so I am wondering how it works and how does it help you eventually project? also most important: how do you get your ears ringing in the first place to start trying to project?

Those who use this technique pls fill me in on why and how it works please and how you can get started hearing the ringing for yourself to eventually get into the astral.

thx all.
#42
Pls someone tell me why concentrating on the ringing noise in your ears would induce vibrations? just curious.

Why does this not moving when waking up thing seem to work? I just can't get my head round why this would be an effective method.

Well, I am sorry to hear of your bouts of depression. I used to have them myself, and it took a lot of change, insight, wisdom, and understanding until I was truly able to balance and heal myself.

Spirituality was one of the things that kept me going, kept my mind thinking at a higher level, and kept me doing things that would eventually help me in the long run.

Most of my experiences with the vibrational state were when I was going through a bout of depression, and my first projection happened when I was depressed. You can do it at any time, and it may just be beneficial to you mentally, if you choose to seek guidance and healing on the planes.

That being said, I do not believe depression and the mindsets that come with it are of any use spiritually or otherwise. They slow you down, drain you, un-center you, confuse you, and lead you to painful places you have to claw your way out of. The mellowness you speak of, this feeling of emptiness, of being lost, is harmful, and you should be looking to the source of it, to heal yourself rather than think about how you can use your depression as an advantage.

So you think it benefits the chances or not? you said your first projection was when you were going through depression. While the mindsets of sadness during depressing are certainly not needed or desirable when attempting to project, would you not agree that they put your mind in a certain state of docileness? I see this as good with "letting go" therefore eliminating less outside world thoughts and interfearance. I just figure if your going to be depressed you might as well use it for something lol.

K I have been prone to random bouts of depression all my life (don't worry I not going to ramble on about myself and why) I find when I am in this "darkness" my mind "gives up" in a sense and I become very withdrawn as well as mellow/slow/quiet and my mind is just in lockdown and in a state where I don't even try and think of solutions to problems in life because I feel so bad.

Would this actually be a good time to project? lol! I may seem extreme but I think to myself when this state of mind next comes to me I can at least try and get some use out of it as I find my mind is more mellow as I just don't give a s**t about my life and whats going on around me etc. Maybe chucking on some headphones and laying back on my bed and listening to Gateway binaural beats to project
might work better when your mellowed out like this even if it is negative, you are still mellowed out.

For everybody here I am sure many agree that when you are sad or down in life with that feeling of "losing hope" your mind is more toned down and mellowed out like its temporarily "locking down" everything. Could this hold potential do you guys think for an OBE attempt? this mindset? I feel it could be valuable when normally you have a lot going on in your life with lots of things whirling around in your head which you have to do that day or next week etc but to fall into sadness often makes your mind "reset" some from your life and everything going on it.

Please give me your honest thoughts on this maybe someone here already has already taken advantage of the mindset of some sadness in their life to project. And also pls bear in mind people that if this state of mind IS useful for trying to project.....please don't upset yourself deliberately to help with your astral quest LOL!

Do you mostly just concentrate on staring at the darkness when your listening or concentrate on solely listening?
#48
Can I just ask quickly: how did you know when you were ready?

Those "doooooo" noises are the entire point of it, so there's no getting around it.  Those ARE the binaural beats.  :)

If you find them boring, then you might want to switch to some hemi-sync that set the Binaurals with music.

Well how the hell do you guys listen to the "dooooo" (lol) noises for like 20 or 40 minutes without getting bored?
#50
Couple Q's if you ok with it...

How did you visualize pls and do you find the gateway binaruals boring? I found them to be too mediocre just the same "dooooooo" noise going up and down. How did you get round that pls.
