If the movement techniques dont work for you, start visualizing : )

Meditation, daily, highly suggested, facing the sun with eyes closed if you can...

For a few minutes a day try this:

Place your hands about 12 inches away from each other, hands open, palm facing palm.

Move them closer together by an inch, than go backward and inch, do this repeatedly, its known as pulsing.

Start to feel a palm to palm energy connection. After a few days of this, you will be able to not only feel the invisible energy connection, but with eyes closed,  visualize and feel your palm delivering it anywhere in the universe your mind can think of.

So you are strengthening your visual technique as well as your energy body, both will get you very far in altered states : )

That exericise is a very basic Qigong hand exercise. Google QIgong free classes, there might be one in your area.

I meet deceased strangers, friends, and family all the time during LD's.

If you want to do it more all I can say is keep believing and never stop thinking about the great things you loved about them, keep those good memories alive, and look forward to your next meeting... by doing this your subconscious mind will book a reservation meeting : )

I keep meeting a deceased friend, and we have so much fun together via LD. I started questioning why wont he move on. I came to the conclusion the next time I meet him to do a retrieval and stop horsing around. But I cant do it, we have way too much fun a retrieval doesnt even cross my mind. I think he is still hanging around here cause he may be addicted to the physical plane, to teach his loved ones more about the non-physical planes, not the other way around, plus he is having fun and not ready to move on yet.

Around 2 years ago, I had an OBE. I had very similar situations all my life that I would normally deem hypnapompic hallucinations, and freak coincidences. But that OBE  2 years ago is the one that made me a beleiver : )

I live in FL and it's impossible not to sungaze. Bob Monroe said we are more than our physical bodies, thats a wonderful statement to dream about, but Sungazing really taught me the meaning of Bobs famous quote. I can, and will chat about this all day on the forums : )
