Hey ppl i wasn't too sure where to post this one so here it is anyway.

Like the title says, a very strange thing happened me earlier on today.I was 40mins early for collecting someone from work so i parked the car to wait.It was actually intentionall me being early because i wanted to meditate and it was noisy at home.Small noises that can be heard from outsid the car dont bother me at all.I Have been quite concerned of late by something that just came to my attention from a small ezboard i post on.It relates to not only the coming war but what might happen directly aferwards and quite easily fits in with the mayan proficy and the profecy coming from native american indians.Ill not go into detail here i just mentioned it because the purpose of my meditation was to hopefully gain some insight on the situation.

I put the seat back slightly and closed my eyes.My mind cleared straight away and i asked for insight over and over.I was very tired though and soon found it difficult to stave off sleep.I started alternating between the meditative and near dream states.From no deliberation on my part i started raising energy in my legs.My legs trembled with the energy that was in effect raising itself.I would drift and start to dream, the force myself back to realise the energy was moving up my body progressively.This energy was empowering, allmost overwhelming.I had never felt anything like it in my own energy work.I shifted states again several times each time forcing my way back to find more of my body pulsing with this wonderfully powerfull energy.When it reached my head i felt like my whole being was swelling to take in more energy.My chakras felt amazingly warm. I tried to push the energy down through my body but i had no power over it. Even though i could not controll it ,it felt mine.It felt right, so i just enjoyed the feeling for a time before opening my eyes,and the energy faded away.

I have no idea what happened to me and im just wondering has anybody here got any advise or had similar experiences.

Is there anyone here with experience of psioncs/kinesis or the manipulation of ki/chi with phsyicall objects - whatever you want to call it, that has successfull stories of it being put to Practicall use? More than just psi balls and spoon-bending? I dont mean energy healing either.Anything really usefull?

Ive recently started to practise scrying and i must say i love it.Im definitely only a beginner but i find that practising also helps improve my visualization, creativity and intuition.Does anyone here use scrying as a means of divination? What tools do you use?

Here's a tip from an amatuer if it helps. As with life in general, golf goes much more smoothly if you are relaxed and enjoying yourself. Try not to think about the shots too much, just have fun!

Hi,

Robert Bruce mentioned this also. He descibed it in his UK workshop. Basically, his description and that of Castenada (as I see it) refer to exactly the same thing, under different labels. Robert told how, by manipulating this *whateveritscalled* using great effort on his part, he altered his own reality in subtle ways. It would appear that this *whatdyacallit* is what positions/holds us in this particular universe.

Lovely pictures Stephen. My apologies for not taking part as I said I would, but I needed to get a new job in a hurry so all else went out the window.

I was just spoofing you about the rugby jersey though[]. We met in Wales where I (much to my embarrasment) dubbed you an "honourary Irishman" for wearing the Irish Jersey, not realising that you are in fact from Northern Ireland!

I think the objects idea is a good one. Perhaps one object and one picture per time might be good? One thing I get quite clearly though is a green rugby jersey with white writing on it. I think this is more related to you than the images though. Is it the Irish rugby jesrsey by any chance??

Hi Narfellus,

The following is a very simple yet effective spell. It's so long since I used it that I couldn't tell you how I came by it. As I said, it is simple, so outcome depends on how much energy and sincerity you put into performing it. You could add to this spell easily, with herbs for example. I used this a couple of times and found that it made significant improvements to my intuition, visualization, and creativity.



Revive Your Magical Powers

On the night of the Full Moon, anoint a purple candle with vanilla oil. While anointing, raise energy and focus it into the candle. See it glow with Magic. Light the candle and go outside (if possible) or near a window where you can see the Moon. Place the candle on the ground or windowsill. Reach your arms out to the Moon and say:

I ask for you power on this night, by the powers of the stars above me, so shall it be!
Visualize your arms and hands soaking up the powers of the Moon and into your body. Put out the candle and leave it on your altar overnight. The next morning, Repeat the spell with this chant:

Oh dear Lord of sky and sea, Lead your magick unto me, By soil, wind, flame, and sea, This is my will, so mote it be!
Soak up the powers of the sun. Go to your alter and light the purple candle from the night before and meditate on it until it burns out.

Be sensitive to the subtle changes you will notice in the coming days

Wow, I am impressed[].Take a look at the picture. There are lots of greens and browns in it but as it's twilight there is a brown look and feel to all the land. The cave or entrance in the middle....Just take a look at the hole in the clouds where the sun still shows through[:O]

Not so strange maybe [] Night time just before you sleep may be one of the best times to try this, although it might be best to see how bad I am at this before taking any of my advise [].

I have the next target as "AP005". It's a location and I have it set as screensaver on my PC if that helps. I'll post it on the 28th (Wednesday) if that suits.

This regularly works for me also, whether I am intending to attempt OBE or if I have just had too little sleep the night before and take 'forty winks' during the day. Almost always this will lead to either paralysis or a lucid dream, or both.

BTW Cube - Another great topic. You seem to have the hang of the often elusive OBE! Thanks for sharing your insights and experiences.

Hi all!

Nice little experiment you have going on here. Seems to me that you are getting the best results when the target is an actual location rather than an image. I have never done RV without assistance so I would be interested in giving it a shot, even if only to see how far off the target I am!

If you like, I will set a target this time (a location) so you all can have a go at getting it. Also, perhaps the time between setting the target and revealing it could be shortened so two could be done in a week? Let me know what you think.

I have "The Sorceror's Handbook". I didn't need to read too much of it before realising it wasn't for me. This is not to say that you won't like it though as one man's garbage can be another man's treasure.

My reason for replying here is to say not to worry about about the book being "dark" or having "dark" spells. The author even goes so far as to mix up the Wiccan Rede and call it "The Sorceror's Code" (this is where I put the book back on the shelf []), and regularly cautions about misuse of magic and resulting karmic consequences. So, if you like the book, get it. I would suggest if I may though that if you were to choose between this and "Modern Magick" that you would go for the latter, based on content.

I did a remote Kundalini/Diamond Reiki healing for Joan at 10:30 GMT tonight. Unfortunately I was forced to stop after 4mins but usually a healing of this sort can be done in about five mins so hopefully it was of some effect. I know it's not much but I will try to send Joan a Reiki or NEW healing every day (although perhaps not always at 10:30).

Whilst not a personal recommendation as I have yet to read it, "Hands of Light" by Barbara Brennan was reccomended to me by a Reiki practitioner I was good friends with at one time. I actually found this book whilst on vacation in Galway (Ireland) but unfortunately had not enough cash on me at the time to purchase it. I did however get to flip through it and it does look to be a great book on auric healing if not reiki specifically. The Amazon.com review is as follows:

I know what you mean about avoiding reading PPSD. Astral Dynamics is one of the best books I have ever read and when one comes across a little gem like that, you would think that the author's only other published book would be devoured with as much enthusiasm. However, although I would order an average of one/two books per week from Amazon.com over many months, I always avoided purchasing PPSD. I believe that I was under the impression that what you dont know can't hurt you or what I jokinging call "The Ostrich Syndrome".

It was not untill I attended Roberts first workshop in Wales that I decided to get and read the book. I was inspired to not only by the words and presence of Robert but also by talking to some of the genuinely lovely people who also attended, and listening to their stories. Whereas beforehand I thought that the only people who would have Neg interferance were those with a particularly difficult life situation or those whose psychological make-up was that which invited trouble, now I could see that 'normal' (whatever that means []) people had benifitted from educating themselves in this area.

I believe you will certainly enjoy reading PPSD if even just for the stories related by Robert Bruce. Good reading and please do let us know what you think afterwards

Further to Mathias' reccomendation I would like to suggest that everyone who does Not have Neg problems read this book. I bought a copy of it when in Wales and I was surprised to find out how my own life situation has been affected by unseen influences.

Even if you imagine yourself to be Neg free, reading this book may shine some light on places within that would rather stay in the dark.

Nice topic! You very rarely hear about RPG's these days which is a shame. I wouldn't even class computer rpg's in the same league as good old fashioned pen, paper and imagination RPG's.

I played them for years when I was younger. From the age of twelve  up untill about seventeen or eighteen and the only reason I stopped playing is that I grew apart from the people that I played with. I thoroughly enjoyed being a player but nothing could compare to being the GM. I often spent days and weeks totally immersed in creating scenarios, worlds, and even entire solar systems for the players to explore. Like Gandalf I attribute most all of my imaginatory skills to Role Playing Games.

My favourites included;

Werewolf
M.E.R.P  (Middle Earth Role Playing)
Mage
Magic: The Gathering
Earthdawn

And a couple more who's names elude me know. Pity my memory isn't as good as my imagination

Hi Vegeta,

Do you work on your chakras at all when doing energy work?

I ask because it often occurs that after doing NEW or NEW Healing, if you cover your eyes with the palms of your hands to block out all light you can see a colour. This colour whether green, red, blue etc corresponds with your most active chakra at the time.
