Sometimes relevancy freaks me out. Glad you're still here.

I realize this experience fits into more than one subforum, but since it started with a dream, I put it here. For clarity, I'll be explaining in present tense... "I am talking with a stranger who is telling me he is sick. He might die." The next day, my girlfriend tells me her relative(whom I never met) is in the hospital.  Whenever I am in an emotionally intense relationship, I seem to be more prone to clairvoyance, metaphysics, paranormal events, and things that western medicine defines as insanity, delusional, or evil. The only thing that bothers me, is not having a place outside of Astral Pulse to share these experiences.

Welcome to Dreams! / Spinning Feather Device
September 29, 2013, 04:30:21
Last night I dreamed I was traveling down a road. A flat spinning disc of feathers orbiting around a mechanical core floated down a few feet in front of me. I couldn't tell if the feathers were turkey, owl, or hawk. This device spanned five to six feet across. I was positively happy as a person waiting on something in the mail. Can anyone shed some light on this? Much appreciated :)

I will definitely try silence next time. I really want to try again, maybe tonight.

I didn't make it. I picked out a couple Marty Robbins CDs to listen to, hoping that would provide sense of sound for the island, but I think next time, I may just try without music. Maybe tonight, maybe not.

Welcome to Astral Pulse Island! / I will try
September 26, 2013, 05:01:31
So it's 2am now, Thursday 9/26/13. After this post, I will go and do a bit of reading, and relax. My intent is to reach the island within the next hour or so. I'll post results later.

I could repeat the phrase "I think therefore I am," but that is Rene Descartes' answer. I know I am real, because I am consciousness. I ask myself, "Are you [icefire9878] real?" My answer is "yes." Your question did not get here by itself. Now what is your definition of "real?" Physical matter? All five of my physical senses are working. I hear the clock ticking, I smell the shampoo in my hair, I taste this drink, I feel the carpet under my feet, and I see these words.                                                                Now who are you? That could be any one of us. I could have started this topic, and I could be replying to myself right now. With the existence of sleeper agents, hallucinations, memory loss, memory exchange, the list continues, it can be pretty consuming trying to figure it all out.                                                                                                      Try setting aside your proposal for a moment. Now come back to it from an external point of view. You didn't post it, so how would you answer it from this alternative mindset?

I think the issue/s is a matter of choice, and/or belief. In my opinion, belief motivates choice, so I think the root factor would be belief. Where these beliefs come from, is unknown to me. I would have to know the person who didn't get to go to college, at least somewhat if I were to make an educated stance. I dropped out of college because the chances of landing a job worth the money of otherwise continued investment was not good enough for me. If you ask me, I don't have a solid answer for you, because I did not stick around long at all, so it is impossible to answer from a graduate's point of view. However, me as I am, a dropout, in the middle of the spectrum of your question as I see it, can drag on the punchline an inch further by saying; Happiness is happiness, no matter how it is approached! Some people go about it differently, whether good, or evil.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: When The Moon Turned Red
September 22, 2013, 23:31:23
Thanks guys :) Much appreciated!

I haven't painted in years, but I've been thinking about getting back into it, this time using a lot of blues and greys to portray shadows and silhouettes. I think a red moon would look great behind blue and black and/or grey.

Parchment to reflect, because the moon turned red. Not could I forget, anticipation's effect. I lay I to sleep, my mind now holds no dreams. I stand up on my feet, to watch it bleed it's peace. A portal in the clouds, behind the lightless house. Immortal thoughts abound, a loudly silent sound. Welled up with water's joy, the moon told me a story. How could we forget, the night when she turned Red?

So glad she is better.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / When The Moon Turned Red
September 19, 2013, 03:48:36
A few years ago, I was watching the news, and the moon would turn red the following night. The next morning, I looked outside to a sky of muggy clouds. I told my mom not to worry because the clouds would open before the turning. That night we went outside, and there was a small opening that drifted over the moon, seconds before it turned completely red. Actually more like blood orange. It was by far one of the most emotional times of my life. The opening soon closed, but I was still amazed. Instilled in my being to this day, is something I can't put into words.

After thinking a bit more, I wonder if the darkness represents the unkown future that lies ahead, and if the crystal represents guidance. I wouldn't be surprised if this is true, because I recently started a new life.

I knew I forgot something. I was wondering if anyone could share some advice and/or knowledge of this experience. Thank you in advance =]

Last night I dreamt I was in darkness, and a crystal appeared. It had bright colors emanating from it, and a peaceful reassurance washed over me. I remember reaching for the crystal, but that is where memory stops. I now have the desire to buy a crystal.

Welcome to Astral Projection Experiences! / Trampoline
September 17, 2013, 02:47:15
When I was 12 or so, we had a giant trampoline in the backyard. I would jump on it for hours on end, and when I went to bed, I would relax and started getting vibrations. I would begin to think about flying, and would soon find myself flying over mountains and forests. I was fully conscious enough to know I was dreaming. Despite my post in the introduction, I think these trampoline induced experiences were my first conscious projections. I think confusion between these and the one in member intros, is due to the fact that I connected with someone and woke up with an instant message confirming the connection.

The most recent SFW(Safe for work) dream I recall, is one in which I was in the sky. I may have been skydiving, but I don't remember it as clearly now as I did after waking from that dream. I do remember traveling down a chord that was connected to something on the ground. The chord went into a roof if I remember right. I don't remember anything else from that dream. Didn't last that long from any known split.

Yes, there were outbursts, My cousin used to hold me under water when I was a kid. So I grew up lashing out at him for any little inconvenience. He used to take steroids, and I was living with him a couple years ago to try and "get out on my own." I ended up breaking my hand hitting a wall after an argument. Moved out not long after.

Thank you Szaxx for the immediate welcome! I almost chose "RainSong" because that is a guitar brand I've wanted for years, but for some reason went with the wind. lol. Maybe my decision has to do with a recurring dream I used to have of tornadoes.
