It was his book that got me hooked on Seth Material and Law of Attraction stuff. I've not looked back. Daryl Anka who is 'channeling' Bashar has similar views. It's all worth taking a look at and taking from it the views that resonate.

Xanth, I like TCambell's ideas a lot! Thought has always come first (ideas/perspective) which eventually manifest into the ''thing'' if the intent is there..

Kzaal, I have watched similar things too and they do make me think of all the possibilities yet undiscovered. It's just a shame that everything in the mainstream is driven by personal gain. It's a worry that the world of medicine/health is governed by economy. I was reading the 'Seth Material'' which had ideas that prevention is not better than the cure but can be the cause. For example if we are able to control our bodies by our belief system then the warning messages that the health sectors give us imprints the reality of desease in our consciousness which in turn creates the desease!.

Ha That is good Lightbeam! I too have a lot of comments about my appearance being younger than my years and I love it. I was told once by a Clairvoyant that I had healing qualities. I didn't really take it seriously at the time but I now hope we all have this ability. Whenever I know someone is ill I imagine that I give them my energy that will heal them. I can't say if it works but I like to believe it does. I used to have chest pains a lot so I used to imagine a beam of light that would penetrate my chest area and I would say in my mind 'heal'. I haven't had them for a long time now so I hope that was my doing.

Well funnily enough I'm 42 but most people think I'm 30! Although this does run in the family. :-)

I don't actually use the visualisation for staying young anymore. Im getting older and eventually my body will give up. But this exercise is great for stress. So wanted to share.

A long time ago I read something from what at the time I thought was hippy rubbish (I was young and silly). It stuck with me and I use it every day.

It was a visualisation exercise that is supposed to keep the body and mind young. I've changed it slightly as it's easier for me to visualise.

Imagine yourself looking at your own image. Imagine the image gets bigger and bigger and your focal point gets smaller and smaller until you can see your cells and DNA. Imagine that the DNA is white but there are little bits of dark colours within the strands that represent your ageing body (or damaged/deseased bits of your body) Imagine that the white parts of the DNA are glowing brighter and brighter and they rejuvinate that dark ones which brings your body to perfect health and harmony as they should be.

I actually found that this visualisation makes me feel very relaxed and at ease. When I have been at my most stressed I've found that this is a great way to feel better and manage to cope with whatever the situation is.

That is all.

Thank you both. Comforting food for thought. I will start asking for answers and see what comes my way.

Oh! Didn't think of it in terms of the clarity of the message or the channel being clear. That kind of helps thankyou Bluefirephoenix.

Welcome to Dreams! / My Fathers Spirit!
September 14, 2014, 13:39:02
When I was 17 my father died of thrombosis. A few days after the funeral I was studying for an exam on my bed. I looked up and my father was there looking at me. I think I knew it was a dream as I was startled rather than scared. We communicated telepathically as there was no sound and when my father spoke his lips moved. I couldnt hear but knew what he was saying. I wont go into what we said as its personal however something always bothered me. My last question to him was 'are you ok?' Meaning ok in the spirit world. His response was 'I wish!" And the dream\experience ended.
This has disturbed me greatly. I was raised Catholic but I definately do not believe in Hell, vengeful gods, pergutory and the like. In fact by the time my father died I had completely turned my back on any relegion.
Would be nice though to have someones impartial take on this. Im in two minds. One is that there was no interaction between my father and me and it was my psyche. And the other is that I did have a message from my father however it was based on his belief system not mine.
Thoughts anyone? And thanks.

I'm not even going to look at this video. We all have a choice what we let into our consciousness. If you are generally positive and want to project that positiveness outward, words like 'evil' should not have any meaning for you. Or at least it wont resonate with you. When I let any information in to my existence, I analyse it by how it makes me feel. If there's doubt or an uneasy feeling then I discard it. If the feeling is good or exciting or has a nice resonant feeling, then I consider it's validity. I'm not saying that good information is truth, but worth keeping an open mind about it's possibilty.

I don't want to be preachy but don't ever bow down to fear. Fear is something we create. And how much attention and energy has this guy had now a few if us have watched it!

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: Manifestation
September 13, 2014, 14:53:18
Yeah Kaje if you like! Gratitude is a tool to get the mind focused on what we already have that we consider positive. Remember that manifestation/attraction are just terms used in the 'new age' arena to describe the reflection of our inner reality. I started reading 'law of attraction' stuff a long time ago which led me to the 'Seth Material' which led me to Tom Campbell. Whichever tool works for us that alters our reality to something we prefer is the tool we should be using. Spiritual growth doesn't stop so there are no definitive methods. Keep reading.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: Manifestation

Manifestation is an exciting topic. I have read far too much on this subject. Be careful when searching 'Law of Attraction' articles and videos as some lead you to think you can manifest a new Playstation  4 by imagining the feeling of already having one. This is kind of right but theres much more to it. You have to understand fully your belief system and be confidently in control of your emotional state as these two subjective parts of your being is what makes your personal vibrational state 'attract' things or situations into your reality. I would suggest reading as much as you can on the topic but more importantly look back on your own experiences to analyse what you have already manifested. Look back on your life think of the events that have happened and try to remember your beliefs and emotional states befor the event. You should see a correlation if your memory is clear.

The books and articles I have read about other peoples tendancies to be liars lean towards problems they are dealing with that is affecting their ego. This is their problem not yours. If you are hurt by this it becomes your problem! We are all one. Try to understand that a portion on your spiritual growth is to be understanding of everyones lack of information. What I mean is we all have available to us the knowledge of our universe and part of the physical reality we are here for is us to learn how to remember this knowledge. Switch your idea about being lied to from a negative experience to an experience of learning. Your friend might need help with something. Sorry I have not made sense. The experienced moderators may agree with me and explain it better.

Seems obvious now most of us have this. Mine is quite low and doesn't bother me. Its like being in a loud club or seeing a band and having the ringing after when things get quiet again. It gets more intense when meditating. If i focus primarily on the 'sound' it starts to become recognisable as a tone. I have yet to try and match this tone (if i can) with my keyboard and fine a note to match. I was hoping someone had tried this. Anyone?
If I get chance I will do this today

Thanks Soarin12. That sounds like good advice, especially visualisation in the day. I have actually managed to increase the intensity of the vibrations before but again the exit method didn't seem to work. Here's what I have used so far:

Rope visualisation(I held some rope to help with the feeling)

Roll out.

Just saying 'out' in my mind

Visualising being in another room/outside.

I'm happy now to persevere though even though these methods haven't worked.....yet!

Hi Sagar. Yeah I didn't expect great results on that front but it doesnt hurt to try.

Blidge that's some experience you've had. I definately wont give up I think I just needed to lighten up I guess. I've reigned in my expectations and since then the results have been unexpected and enjoyable however few. Ive been reading much on visualization techniques and I couple this with my meditation method and if I get vibrations of any sort I try an exit method. It will work for me someday i've just stopped expecting it to.

Absolutely Escapevelocity. The journal was definately acting as a tool. I still go back and read them frequently so I can remember the emotional experience as well as the physical senses experience. Getting wrapped up in other peoples experiences, methodology and opinions can act as a dampener I think. Subjective dream recording and analysis is definately the best place to start for anyone getting into NPR.
Cheers

Thanks Interception. It really was a great experience! I'm not however going to let my expectations run wild like I have in the past. I've done a fair bit of reading since I started the forums and now realise that exercising ALL aspects of our consciousness is the only way to grow. I think I have been too concerned with astral projection being the only cosciousness improvement vehicle.

Hi All.

Been a while since I last posted anything. I got some real help from this site after having very little success with conscious projecting. Unfortunately I think I took on too much info at once here and the very little experiences I was getting seemed to just vanish. It was advised (can't remember who but I think it was a moderator) that I was trying too hard so I haven't been back since today. I also stopped trying various methods for a while and went back to my reading of metaphysical literature (a few Seth books and Tom Campbell).

My mojo is back and I can now at least get back to the Vibrational stage (or the bouncy stage I call it). This stage usually is followed by me just riding it out and continuing to try and thoughtlessly 'observe' but sorry so say the exit methods haven't worked for me yet. This is where I fall alseep and usually have intense dreams but i'm not consciously aware of the state.

Recently however (3 times now) I have had Lucid Dreams. Now I'm slightly dissapointed that I didn't have the conscious leaving the body sensation and floating around the room I'm sleeping in, but I consider this a great step forward.

Im my last Lucid Dream I did not leave the body and was already in the dream state when my consciousness knew what was happening. I did a test by looking for my limbs which I could clearly see then touching my fingertips together to see if I could feel which I could. I couldn't however control any movement and I seemed to be static floating about 12ft in the air in the middle of a beautiful Park with white coloured trees. The clarity was awesome!

I've started doing a dream journal and the frequency of dreams (I can actually remember) has increased. Now I feel that I have made progress even though it's all subjective. I'm still dubious that Lucid Dreaming is projection (or a non physical reality experience) and lets face it at the end of the day it is only dreams I have experienced but I'm happy with this for now.

My real aim is to be able to leave the body and roam my local environment. I've even asked my wife to put a symbol/number/word on top of a cupboard so I can look for it during projection and test the results. But for now I just wanted to say thanks to everyone here that gave advice and pointed me in the right direction.

***Cheesy Cliche warning*** My journey continues.

cheers All.

Yes, you are confusing yourself and trying WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too hard. Practice, PATIENCE and Perseverance are what it takes to be successful on a regular basis. I highlighted PATIENCE because I see that is a major problem today with learning anew.

This practice does not work hand and hand with the "Now Generation's" mindset.  :-(

Go back to what worked for you before. When I read a thread/post, book or watch a video on AP, I try to "see through" what they are saying. I try to pick out things that I think may be helpful.

You are rushing a process that takes time. Just like a fine wine, it gets better with time.

I know it probably is impatience but i've been interested in ap since I was 15 and I have'nt given up trying and nor will I. But you are right I will continue with my previous method which was 90% affirmation and 10% a method of focus which bring on vibrations or sometimes a strange bouncing sensation. I got some ideas from some of the sticky threads and maybe should have combined them with my own method rather than replace them. For the past couple of nights I did revert back to my own method completely and nothing happened at all. I actually fell asleep really quickly which is not like me. It's hard to shake the feeling I've changed something subconsciously by getting all excited about the things I've read here. My biggest challenge was getting rid of my fear, after I did this about a year ago more things started to happen and I dont want to start from scratch. If only it was like riding a bike!!

This is controversial, and it shoudn't replace your practice but I had huge succes with galantamine this night, maybe give it a shot http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_astral_consciousness/are_there_supplements_worth_doing-t44392.0.html

Ive toyed with similar ideas but I'm not sure I want to go down this road. Whether or not it can be harmful and i'm sure it isn't if you are suggesting, I wouldn't want to be dependant on it for experiences.

Since i joined the forum I have had great guidance from members and the hundreds of posts i've read have been full of quality information.

The thing is previously I felt I was making progress, I was reaching the vibrations and other typical signs fairly regularly. Now I haven't had much happen for a couple of week.

Have I overloaded myself with information? This happen to anyone else?
