Yep, I'm dumb, but I figured it out anyhow. I just never actually extracted the files. If I get any good results, I'll post them here.

I really wanna give this a try, but could you give just a brief instruction on how to use your little invention? I downloaded it, go 3 files, silence.wav, beep.wav, and timer.html. I opened all three, but I don't know how to sync the .wav files with the html page java. Maybe I'm just dumb, but let me know if there's something I'm missing.

The Conversations with God books by Neale Donald Walsch. They answered every single question I've ever had about life and spirituality, and there wasn't one word in any of the books I even questioned to be truthful. I consider them a bit like my bible for living.

nrishiraj, could you give me a bit more information on the Icke book?

I looked it up on amazon and I didn't see any direct correlation, but it did look interesting. It's a bit of an investment (20 + 5 shipping) so I'd like to know more about what he talks about in relation to the self and reality; and how he relates it to the current world (politics and stuff).

Also I'm curious as to how the book affected you and your view. Let me know if you can.

I've read book 1, friendship with god, and i'm on book 2 now. Nothin to say specifically but this book is my bible. Pretty much everything you ever really need to know.

Personally, I think our individual "corruption," or whatever you call it, is a necessary part of our learning process. The hardest thing to do in life is to "re-learn" how to create yourself. By going to hell and back, we get the most out of life. Feel free to disagree, I just think that all of the bad in the world has a lesson for us.

quote:
I'm skeptical of dates for world shaking and humanity changing events, but anything is possible.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I've learned to entertain myself with these ideas without it affecting any aspect of my life.

I'm not an experienced projector, but I use the eye technique to get me into a deeper trance. I first read about it as a method to activate the brow chakra, so I always thought that my trance levels came from increased energy flow. I'll play around with it a bit more and see where I can go with it.

Yup. Believe what you want. Anyone [affiliaited with the church] who tells you otherwise is being ignorant. Your beliefs are yours and yours only. Again, if people are telling you what to believe, they're insecure with their own beliefs and just want others to feel that way too.

Welcome to Dreams! / BEST DREAM I EVER HAD!!!
February 15, 2004, 20:49:42
My guess would hafta be it's just your desires. First of all, you really shouldnt get your hopes up, and second, i think 99% of dreams are just reflections of the self, rather than being prophetic or anything of that sort.

I know exactly how you feel though, I used to have a lot of those dreams.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Humour
February 13, 2004, 20:28:54
I'm into the whole randomness thing. I also like jokes or comments made to make fun of the stereotypes society loves so much. Kinda exaggerating them so that they sound really offensive, but it's more of poking fun at society than anything. Ex: the tv series "Family Guy" or even The Simpsons. Randomness can be associated with Monty Python stuff and you can find a lot of it in the two i already mentioned.

I kinda wonder how senses of humor come into existence or evolve as we grow older... All I know is it's really important to me when it comes to friends and girls and such.

Just because you project without using your chakras doesnt mean they dont exist. You have far from proven they don't exist. When/if you learn how to manipulate energy, you'll discover that you get certain sensations in certain areas, and they're very consistent. The main chakras can do anything from buzz, feel warm, feel pressure, and I'm sure a lot more. Chakras aren't just a new age trend like I think you're thinking it is. They've been studied for a long long time. But anyways, you don't need to believe me, I just felt like arguing, and I'm jealous of you're natural ability to project, lol.

Root: open (19%)
Sacral: open (38%)
Navel: under-active (6%)
Heart: open (44%)
Throat: open (38%)
Third Eye: open (31%)
Crown: over-active (69%)

I've known that I've had a problem with my root chakra, and I've been working with it, but i had no idea about my navel. I think this would be an interesting test to take periodically and see how you progress.

About the coma thing, a band called The Mars Volta did a concept album on a guy who was in a coma and went on adventures to different planets and stuff. The lyrics can be difficult to understand, but they're just plain awesome. The album is called "De-loused in the comatorium." Lyrics here: http://www.lyricstime.com/artist/mars-volta/

As a side note- amazing band, original sound, great songwriting, and tons of energy.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Donnie Darko
January 15, 2004, 13:52:14
I really liked the movie just because it was different. I had never thought about the whole movie being Donnie's dream the night he died, but that's a really cool idea. I got most out of the fate ideas. The whole wormhole things coming out of the center of your body is really cool. There's also probably a lot of us here that can relate to the incredible complexity of strange coincidences we experience. I live my life by "going with the flow." I've learned how to let fate take me where it will, and it has not failed me yet.

About the asian girl, I thought she kinda represented Donnie's internal struggles. She was a part of him, and he did what he could to make her feel better. But when he tells her everything is gonna be ok, she freaks out and runs away. So, that kind of shows his fears about this whole thing. Just my ideas.

The whole time travel thing was just necessary to throw in because it was important to the story line. Not to mention altering time is one of those human fascinations.

I love this idea. From what I know, he wants to actually start colonizing the moon, and move to mars from there. Sure it's expensive, but it's our next step in evolution. Read "Musings on Human Metamorphosis" by Timothy Leary.

Extremely informative, thought-provoking, and inspiring. Thank you.

You guys are all wrong. On December 23rd, 2012, the easter bunny will be resurrected and will start a war with the human race.

Now you might think, Oh, it's just a rabbit, it can't hurt anyone.
But you couldn't be more wrong.

"He'll bite your head clean off! It's a vicious rabbit with large, sharp, pointy teeth!"

I know exactly what you're talking about, but I do get the other kind of vibrations in addition to this. I had the same feeling, but I describe it a different way. I say that it feels more like a flowing movement that seems to me feels like a transition of feeling your physical body, to feeling your etheric body. It's an extremely pleasant feeling, and actually deterred my desire to project, and I just decided to enjoy whatever it was I was experiencing.
#45
Read Robert Monroe's Far Journeys. He makes everything make so much sense.
#46
Claw, I'm the same way. Mine have never felt the way everyone seemed to talk about them. They're just a pleasant relaxing sensation to me, I can't say much more. I have a hard time saying much more.

Thanks for the tip, I never really thought about it like that. I'm gonna give it a try in a little while. If it works, I'll be sure to thank you furtherly (is that a word??).

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Music

Elliott Smith gets the thumbs up, just got some of his stuff, I like it. I'm gonna go out and buy a cd, which would you recommend? But I disagree about the drums for Metallica, not a fan of him or his style.

Anyways, I got my own band, I'm on drums, been playin like 8 yrs i think, we're kinda alternative new metal. We don't like the label "new metal," cuz that infers really straightforward, structured songs, so we're goin a different direction to give people something different.

Nothin for sale, sorry.

I don't have any feedback, as I'm not an experienced projector, but I like this topic and I too am very curious as to see some responses.
