I can't concentrate with his talking all the time. And he goes way to fast for beginners. If someone can reach focus 10 the first time they listen to his first CD then your some sort of expert. I prefer to work on my own.

But, I had woken up early (way to early) 3 days in a row, and on the third day I was feeling really tired around 2 pm. So I decided to take a nap. I slipped on the headphones and fell asleep to Hemi-sync. Every time Monroe would speak it would kind of bring me back to focused consciousness but as far as i could tell i was not awake. And it also seemed like I was seeing through my eyelids. The only way to explain that logical is that I was in sleep paralysis and didn't realize it. Possible. This happened like 4 times in that one nap and on the last time I was lucid enough to try and OBE, so I tried to start to spin, I was going slowly and ended up facing my bed and I could feel my stomach on the bed.(I was on my back in reality) So either a very, very, vivid dream or an obe without exit. After I gave up I fell into a dream. So overall great experience because i had the dream to compare the obe to. If it was an obe, I must say I am truly shocked at its clarity.

I just realized I didn't have to tell you all that to answer your question but there it is. Hemi-sync might have made it so when Monroe spoke my brain waves were on the right level for me to wake up out of body.

Overall, if you meticulously fallow Monroe's Cd's, you will probably have an obe. But you have to listen and re listen to it many many times and follow his instructions. But if you do that without Cd's you will achieve it anyways....

i have had many experiences like this, as far as i know you werent seeing through your eyelids, your physical eyes had shut off and you were seeing with your astral body

did they help you or not?

A month for the 1st, 2 more years for the 2nd, several more years for more frequent (rather than random/isolated) OBE's.

Some do better, some do worse. Some give up. It's like martial arts training - it takes time to develop the necessary skills and techniques to do it well.

hmm, this inspires me to keep going :) ive been pretty discouraged lately, but i think the practice is worth it

ok so im pretty sure now that im not getting into focus ten, i have before but it wasnt intentional. im ending up in a state where my body is very relaxed, but not quite asleep... do i just need more practice? should i try when im more tired??

ok so im pretty damn good at getting into focus ten now, but i rarely ever get the floating sensation which is caused by COMPLETE sensory shut down, any tips to deeping my focus 10?

i can relate to all of those experiences, id say im on the same page. sometimes ill get up from a meditation and decided to read, ill read a whole paragraph before i even realize that i didnt even comprehend any of it, its like i wasnt even paying attention the whole time. its liek you get so used to not thinking in meditation that you forget how to function
#37
i do this during meditation, i imagine that i feel myself falling into my pillow, works like a charm

during meditation with the intent to project i often see places or objects, sometimes ill even see my room right in front of my eyes, jsut as clearly as i do with my physical eyes. i also sometimes get this sensation where it feels like my body is flopping around or spinning, i think is may be my astral body, as sometimes i can control it. but i never seem to be able to completely leave, i only left twice, the first time was only for a few seconds, one i floated up i saw my room in oclors ive never seen before and paniced. the second time i felt that i was being shot down a tunnel, i saw this tunnel with my eyes closed, and i heard an eerie womans voice singing, like an opera singer or something

anyways, can anyone relate? any tips?

thank you :D
