alezunde.........i think that your astral body goes to an astral plane so close to ours it mirrors ours almost exactly. i think it could be described as a shadow of the pysical or maybe as an echo of it. and yes you can affect the pysical but not in the way you mean.i dont think you can move objects and things, but you should be able to somewhat affect someone highly developed in things spiritual. like making your presense known or something along those lines.

i also could be wrong as i am new to this stuff myself. these are just my feelings on the subject.[]

i may just be the prime example why you shouldnt drink and post.

i started a thread about the "kids" on this site while i was drinking. i was far from drunk but at the same time i was not in the correct frame of mind. i have upset quite a few members because of my immaturity. i thought i was being soooooooo cool at the time. boy did i feel different the next day. i feel the foolishness now that i should have felt that night. so i warn everyone of the dangers....................dont drink and post.[:I]

everyone here is absoulutely right.(except me maybe)

i do apologize in the utmost extreme. i didnt mean to convey that the young ones were unwelcome.(even though that is exactly what i did.) i just have a psycological(sp) problem on the subject of these things that most people will call the "supernatural" and "of the devil".  

my wife is the one who makes me uncomfortable about talking about these subjects. she really thinks i am some kind of weirdo or possibly on the verge of craziness. i definately know that she thinks if i died right now i would probably be going to hell for dabbling in these subjects. thats why i feel uncomfortable talking about these things with the younger members. what if their parents were to get really ticked off by these things? most of the average people out there would think this is just as bad as their kids going on a porn site.

and again i am so sorry for offending. i do really get some great advice from some of the younger people and i dont even realize it. i hardly look up peoples profiles and i get really surprised when i see some of the ages when i do.  no leaf clover you are one of them. if i didnt look, i would have thought you were my age. i do agree that young does not necessarily mean immature. some of you guys are more mature than i am.(as you can tell from my opening subject).

i am still kind of new to these ideals and am having a hard time forgetting about the idea that i am going to hell if i dont quit trying these things. religous dogma is powerful, and i do have to admit that it still has a hold on me somewhat. i am learning that there is room for the belief in this as well as a simultaneous belief in God and His ways. i think it is just the various religious groups have really screwed me up in the head.

again please forgive me for offending. i am still a young one myself in these subjects and i see that i have alot of growing up to do. in the future i will definately treat everyone with the respect due to each.

i feel like i just ticked off my best friends. again i apologize.

i also have another problem with posting to these kids. i feel weird trying to talk to them about subjects that i consider very serious. they arent old enough to understand the implications of giving yourself over to these ideals as a way of life.


this is deep so i am going to start a new subject on this. everyone please respond as your input will be helpful to me.

thanks fredhedd.....i do actually try to visualize(sp) too much i think. i try to "see" everything i am trying to feel. it makes sense to stop trying to "intellectualize" the process. i have a hard time trying to go along with the flow but i will research on here and keep trying to relax and feel the experience. i know robert bruce thinks that the visual stimuli gets in the way of advancing your energy work and that is what i try to do even with the eyes closed.

fredhedd........... squeek doesnt like to answer already asked and answered questions. he thinks we should be using the file library. and i do agree this is a good way to get info, i just like to hear it from our current gold members, etc. we as the newbies cannot help thinking our problems we experience are exclusive to our individual selves, we just dont know any better.......yet.

and i didnt mean to imply that you didnt like to talk to us.....i just got that impression from squeek. i wrongly assumed all the gold members wouldnt want to deal with our repeating questions.

it really helps us to know that some of you more senior members wont tear us a new one for asking a frequently asked question.

pick up Astral Dynamics.........its the best book i have read on the subject so far. a lot of books just tell of their experiences......but this one tells different procedures to try.....its great.

screw the psi ball efforts.  why dont you work on something more useful like telekinesis.

shadowcatcher.........this is already being studied scientifically(sp).   robert monroe has started an institute for the study of this subject as well as other subjects. it is not government backed science, but it is still a scientific endeavor.

also the government did look into this subject with the remote viewing aspect of OBE and a really talented man named Ingo Swan. i would post a link here for you but i am kind of computer illiterate and i dont know how to do that yet.sorry.

fredhedd,       i still consider myself a newbie but i do post. i do have to admit i would rather get up to date advice rather than going into the past posts to retrive information. squeek doesnt like this but i have to admit i am looking for human interaction as well as information. answering a post, even if its a repeated topic, shows a little more caring to the average person. i feel that we are a rare (well maybe not rare) breed here. most of us are starting to realise that there is more to this place called reality than we are being taught. our organized religions want us to go down their preconceived road, our scientists want us to believe their "theories"are more than just that, etc........ we here at this website are "waking up out of the matrix". we need to stick together more and help even when it seems trivial.

thats funny no leaf. is that really true? i have to admit if it is thats just one more thing that sets me on the path that i am on. i do believe in God but i no longer believe in these organized religions.

i think its normal. i also feel like i am being electrocuted when i am relaxing into the ap. it takes a few times to relax and ride the feelings. it has something to do with your energy work. people here tell me they will become less extreme with energy center development.

a)  i absoulutly fell in love with it. it was exactly what i was looking for. i had been to other sights and was severly disappointed.


b)   i had trouble at first but i caught on fairly quickly. but ther are still things i dont know how to do here.


c)   i liked the witty banter that goes back and forth. at first its hard getting put in your place by some teenager, but i have found that there are some extremely intelligent teens as well as adults here. i loved it and still do.[]

see this kind of thing is what points toward aliens and a creator that is not what we get from our bibles. why would He make star systems that have all the probability of holding life so far out there we would never see them or experience them in any way?our bible is very narrow minded and actually very arrogant. we supposedly rule the earth and all her creatures and anything else He created. He gave us dominion over all of it. [?]   again.....dominion over planetary systems we will never come in contact with? or even see with our most powerful telescopes? i dont get it. all this info makes me do is question more![?]

this sounds very cool. my wife is a devout follower of the bible and thinks i am a total heathen for my ap experiments and open mindedness. this kind of thing might actually get her to open her eyes a little wider and let some other spirituality in. thanks again and i will post here again wether it works for me or not.

if you can see within the other spectrums of light it will probably come from the "mind" power and not the biological body. our eyes can only see a certain amount of light in the light spectrum. just like color blind people can only see a certain less amount of light spectrum. now i do wonder like you if it is possible to train your biological eyes to "see" the other spectrums. because we do see them....its just our ocular nerves cannot or do not process the energetic information coming in from the infrared, x-ray, gamma, etc. i find it hard to believe, but maybe our brains find those light signatures too intense to process.

i've been gone a bit and i am catching up on older posts, so please bear with me

an athiest friend of mine once said(not sure if its his quote or not), "if heaven is all perfect and happy without any pain, how will you know you are happy? dont you need pain and suffering to be able to measure your happiness up against?"

he shook me a little with that one.

i used to be a blind follower of God accepting everything and trying to convince everyone they needed to jump on board for their own good.my athiest friend also challenged me to read everything i could on the subject(as i love to read), and then make an educated stand on the subject.

well here it is years later and i did follow his advice. i have soaked up a lot of knoweledge on the subject and i am no longer a devout follower. oh i still believe in God, but for all of you that sees this big loving being.............take another look.

no leaf has a point that we do learn from our negative experiences, but i still have a hard time understanding how or what parents are supposed to be learning from their little kids getting kidnapped and molested and mutilated!!![!] where is the good God in any of that? and dont give me any crap about the parents had bad karma and this was what they had coming.

i have watched good people get crapped on in every horrible way while an obviously mean hearted evil jerk seems to thrive in this world. i am sorry neg removal5, but i fail to see how this was the lesser of two evils our creator could pick.

and clandestino..... yeah there have been some people who do not believe they are doinf wrong. after all the judgement level of right and wrong are made up of the majority vote. if they feel its wrong, its made law. look at some of the middle eastern countries where the women are not even treated as good as the cows. they dont feel thats wrong. but we over here in america do. so whos right and whos wrong? who knows.........all i do know is that certain atrocities are without a doubt, obvious,to every man and womens hearts, as wrong.

sorry to rant.......to sum it all up.......God is not all loving, or else he would prevent a whole bunch of things from occuring. all the pain and suffering is summed up simply by seeing God as one big neutral bystander. evil wins here as much if not more than good does. this either shows me a neutral being in control or a good being that is powerless to stop the bad.
