hmmm... actually I like the idea.  I sounds as if it would work.  There's only two potential obstacles I can think of.  First, you're subconscious might clairvoyantyly read the card and put it in your dream (pretty unlikely, but possible).  Second, if you are indeed out of body, your subconscious might start affecting the real-time zone, changing the card value you see.  Either way, you subconscious might get in the way of objectivity.  On the flipside, however, I would say that this problem isn't too major unless you're in the real-time zone for a long time, so all in all you theory should work.  Awesome idea!  I'll have to give it a shot.

Hmmm... I don't have experience with this specifically, but  I don't think it would.  To my understanding, it would be beneficial to do energy work while sick.  Maybe, since your body is using lots of energy to fight the sickness, you would feel drained more easily?  However, I think it shouldn't have a great effect on your energy work.

  Check out "The Elegant Universe,"  it's both in DVD and book forms, and it focuses a littel more on the famed Superstring Theory/M-Theory.  However, the DVD does talk about quantum mechanics a bit.  Also, this is a pretty basic discussion, it only talks about the main concepts, nothing mathematics related.  If you're looking to get a good grounding in quantum mechanics, you'll probably want a book.  Nevertheless, "The Elegant Universe" is nice to watch.

 I was more interested in what natural abilities/energy body manifestations this would imply.  Such as a naturally active brow chakra:  natural ability at remote viewing, astral sight, etc.  If there are any for the base chakra, what would they be?
  Also, I've been doing some reading on Kundalini; and Robert Bruce says that the base chakra is in close connection to Kundalini.  If anything, what would a naturally active base chakra have to do with Kundalini?

 I noticed about a year ago that my base chakra is pretty active naturally.  Randomly throughout the day it will start tingling, lasting for a couple minutes or more.  Then an hour or so later it'll happen again.  However, if I'm doing NEW or meditation, it'll definitly activate and usually be stronger.  I was just curious what implications this had, and does this have any relation to Kundalini?

 To my understanding, the easiest way to activate your brow chakra (third eye) would use NEW tecniques.  I would recommend activating all your chackra with NEW, then specifically focus on the brow; however, you don't have to.  Using NEW just on your brow, combined with meditation would work too.  Experiment with  this, you might find an easy way to activate your brow.  Just have fun with it.

  Hmmm... First off, I'm not quite sure what is happening to you.  That is, I cannot pinpoint it exactly.  But what it seems is that you are having astral sight, astral hearing, et cetera.  The 'stuck' feeling seems very closely related to the paralyzed states described in Astral Dynamics.  Have you read it?  Robert Bruce offers some awesome suggestions to overcome this paralysis, and I have a notion that these techniques would work for you too.  If indeed you wish to come out of the 'stuck' state.  There is the possibility that you could use it instead.  Robert Bruce also mentions in his book that you can easily have OBEs from this paralyzed state; it supposedly happens much more easily.  I'm not quite sure about your specific case, but I'll say it's safe to assume you've got a pretty similar case here.  Anyway, I would just recommend reading Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics.

Last night I think I had my first LD.  Horray!  However, I also think that I might have dreamed this.  I can recall the dream and realizing that I was dreaming.  My memory of this seems no different than any non-lucid dream.  Can you help me figure this out?  Thanks.

I would love to have a strong understanding of String Theory/M-Theory (I'll call it ST from now on), and I understand that for this, I must understand the mathematics behind it.  I do have two very good books on this theory, but it totally confuses me (it has lots of math equations and technical terms et cetera).  I also have a good book on quantum mechanics with lots of mathematics in it too.  Do I need to understand Quantum Field theory, Quantum Mechanics, the mathematics behind relativity, et cetera to move on to ST?  What math courses must I take (I'm on a university)?  What other theories must I understand mathemacally and technically to understand ST mathematically and technically?  Thanks for the help.

P.S.
I do have a pretty good base understanding of Relativity, Quantum Mechanics, and ST; I just don't know technical terms and the mathe behind it all.

I have a friend in her thirties and she definitely has a neg attachment.  From talking to her, she seems to have had this attachment all her life, for she started having a sexual drive since age five.  Anyway, I believe that the removal of the neg would cause dramatic personality changes, but then again it might not.  What do you think?  She's married, so if her personality chaged dramatically, the marriage could be strained.  On the other hand, this neg is causing her to be a bad influence on her daughter.  

What are your thoughts?  Should I do anything to help her?  If so, what?

Recently I had a dream that came true exactly.  I dreamed that my roommate came in the room, I sat up in bed, asked him how the competition, which he had been at, went, and then we had about a five minute conversation.  At the end of the dream I woke up and just at that time my roommate came in the room, I sat up in bed...  Basically everything happened exactly as it happened in the dream.  I only realized this a few hours afer it had all happened.  Has anyone had any similar experiences?

Lately, my friends and I have noticed that our dreams have been more vivid and more frequent.  This started about a month ago.  Does anybody have any similar experiences or any ideas on what this could be?
