Hi

I am a frequent natural lucid dreamer so i think i can help. For me, when i become lucid it doesn't matter how excited i get it doesn't fade. For me, a dream will fade if im flying around too much or if im trying to accomplish too much at once. When this happens I do the following:

1. Use verbal commands such as "increase clarity" "increase dreamscape" "increase vision" anything you can think of can be a verbal command.
2. spin around with arms out
3. look down at my hands and rub them together
4. bend over and pick up some dirt and feel how real it feels in your hands.

I recommend that when you first become lucid you should complete steps 2-4, then try the following verbal commands before doing anything:

"increase dreamlength"
"increase lucidity"
"increase clarity"
"ignore all outside interferences"
"set brain to wake up only on my command"

I doubt that you can actually use a verbal command to make yourself go into a coma but I have used these commands before and I feel that they do actually increase how long the dream goes for and it makes you feel like your deeper inside the dream to the point where you could try getting out of it and not be able to.

Good luck, have fun and take care! :)

Hey that better not be my electrokinesis thread your saying was bad!!! GRRRR >:|

I was once able to control my electrokinesis but now its much like yours just happening at pretty random times to random electronics. But usually it happens to me when a coincidence or something odd/strange occurs. I've kind of regained control over it... i practise on the train i try turning the lights out but i can only make them go dimmer.

All i can suggest is that you practise in your lucid dreams and that you meditate and practise turning on and off lights in real life.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / My Electrokinesis

Thanx for your reply. I will take into consideration what you said. I dont think its so much the doubt thats stopping me, I think its just I can't fully remember how I did it. I think I need a few more lucid dreams to practise in. But as I said before... everytime I'm on the train I've been practising... I find that the train lights inside the carriage are really easy to manipulate. So maybe once I gain full control over this I can progress onto something harder.

When I did have this electrokinesis power I had full control over it. It did not hurt, take up lots of energy, or anything like that to do it. I could just do it whenever I wanted to piece of cake. What I meant by it being random electrokinesis now is just that it happens to me by mistake now at irregular intervals. Whenever a coincidence, something strange happens, or someone repeats themselves, stuff like that... it will always happen... like it just triggers a reaction in me which causes it to happen. All my friends know about my ability because I have proved it too them many a time. Hence the nick Eonnn. I thought the nick Electro was a bit girlish and considering my name is Ian I thought a good nickname would be Eonnn. My friends call me that all the time now.

Hmmm that site wasn't actually that good
heres a better one:
www.dreamdoctor.com/dictionary

but yeah theres heaps out there... just go into google and type "dream symbols dictionary"

So if you ever want to know what your dreams are trying to tell you then just goto a couple of these sites to find out which symbol best represents whats going on with yourself.

Its me again. I still haven't bothered looking for stuff on this subject LOL I dont know why. I really want to find out what it means when you dream about police and also when you dream about school, and also when you dream about tidal waves. These are some of the things I dream about most often thats why.

Think Deep, Fly High... whats that quote from? isn't it from some dinosaur movie?

Well I didn't think the representation of dream symbols or should i say the symbolisation of dreamsigns would be unique to everyone. I know that dieing in a dream = new era in life is a universal one... I have read about this happening to heaps of other people.

Welcome to Dreams! / How to OBE by LD
August 07, 2003, 11:28:33
I have successfully changed a LD into an AP.

When you are lucid simply fly back to your house (or if your good enough you can materialise yourself there). Go into your room and you should see yourself lying asleep on your bed! If this is the case then you are now having an AP.

Welcome to Dreams! / Are LD harmful?
August 07, 2003, 11:17:41
Hi

LD'ing can in fact be harmful, but then again so can any other dream. For example, if you get stabbed in a dream sometimes you will feel it and sometimes you wont. When you do feel it, it actually feels like your being stabbed in real life! it really really hurts!
Also, you can wake up from dreaming and feel sweaty/cold/thirsty/hungry/have a headache, etc, etc.

LD'ing is natural for me, I was born with the gift. This doesn't mean I have a LD every night, but about 1-2 times a week.

Sorry but your post is too long to bother reading. I'm just replying without even reading your post to tell you this. You will also find a lack of replies due to this. Keep your posts short in future.
#37
Yeah there is something you can do... just say out loud "increase lucidity" and "increase subconsciousness" or "set brain frequency to lowest alpha wave"

About the crystals... they just give you energy and turn negative to positive energy. I dont see how this is going to help you with lucid dreaming.

Welcome to Dreams! / Orgone w/ Lucid Dreaming

I'm sold!
Where can I purchase it?

Hey DarkQuest. Thats definately a good way to become lucid... i've used that method a few times myself. But the best way to remember the lucid dream like it was yesterday but even earlier than that, is to keep a dream journal next to your bed. Eventually you can recall entire pages of junk! then find out your dream signs!(things you see often like people, places and any other times when you do stuff).

What I like to do is try different kinds of kinesis (such as tele, electro, hydro, geo, aero, etc.) and also telepathy and empathy. But to make something appear I just close my eyes and imagine it while saying "generate scenery" out loud. When you open your eyes it will appear just as you imagined it.

I dont know anything about crystals but meditation before sleeping is good :)

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Ideas for CBT
July 28, 2003, 12:32:52
I dont have the URL but there was this site that had like a flash animation flight simulator... it was just a camera flying over a landscape so it looked like your flying over hills. If you could get an animation like that it would help people become lucid because it prepares them for the real dream landscape.

You could also have like a talking wizard (like in word but this one actually speaks) there is already a program like that which is about lucid dreaming. Sorry I dont have the URL for this one either. Its also got a dream journal, place to write dreamsigns, details on dreams, time sleeping, give sound cues while your sleeping, etc.

But yeah theres heaps of info here about how to lucid dream, if not here then try www.veritasonline.net/forums
also try www.lucidity.com they have lots of info there.

But basically to become lucid you have to get into the habit of doing reality checks (look at watch twice and if it changes the 2nd time then you know your dreaming).

Hope this helped.
#41
Yeah theres dreamsigns all around you...

Whenever you go on your computer, or pick up your wallet from its usual spot, whenever you go to the toilet, whenever you eat or drink something, whenever you have a smoke, etc. just do a reality check :)
#42
Yeah, whenever you see your friends in reality just ask yourself if your dreaming and make a quick reality check (dont say it out aloud though).

There is a dream induction device you can buy called the NovaDreamer which is like some sunglasses u wear to bed and they detect when your in REM sleep then send red flashes and sound cues. You can buy it from www.lucidity.com for about $300 I think.

My main dreamsign is my friends... whenever I see my friends I ask myself "am i dreaming?".

Others include school, work, driving, etc.
But yeah I always try a bit of tele/electrokinesis powers during the day and in my dreams.
I also look at my watch frequently to check if the time changes.

But I dont really need to now because I can pretty much have at least 1 lucid dream a night now. [:)]

Welcome to Dreams! / I got stuck in a dream!
June 19, 2003, 03:52:29
Yes, this has happened to me twice. One dream I was in some hell far away place but in the same city. I could fly and it just felt so real I couldn't believe I could fly. I was flying around waving to everyone and then I flew to the train station to catch the train home. I kept thinking "hmmm maybe im in a coma". But once I got on the train and started heading home I woke up. Usually if you have these long dreams you dont get out till you fulfill the mission which in this case was to catch the train home.

My other dream was where I was at home and I was having dreams within dreams. I would awake from one dream and think I'm back in reality when it turns out im not. This went on for a while kept waking up from a dream and still being in the dream then sleeping again, etc.
One way to get out of a dream is to build up an emotion inside of you. Or you can try concentrating and thinking about 2 different things at once.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / 12/23/2012
June 17, 2003, 06:03:35
On December the 21st, 2012 we will pass into the 5th dimension which is the etherical/astral plane. Our consciousness will be able to travel vast distances among other things. At the moment we live in the 4th dimension which i think is time.

It has been said that this date is the end of the world but I think this is highly unlike. If anything is gonna happen, it will be something good. Hey even if we are all gonna die then it will still be good coz we all die together!
#47
I think your right beav31is! This 'reality' is really just a dream, a very believeable one.

I once couldn't sleep for days and I achieved perfect mind over matter, then one day I tried turning off a street light like I would in a dream and it happened! I then tried turning off other street lights and it happened! but then I started to sleep again and I lost the ability :(

Well I heard something totally different!

I heard that aliens will come down to earth on December 21st 2012 (yes the 21st not the 23rd) and they will give us the 'book of knowledge'. They will teach us everything we have ever wanted to know about the universe, existence, time, space, technology, etc.

If there is a god, and a heaven and hell. I dont see how sucking up to god is going to get you into heaven. Thats all the christians do, suck up to him, hoping god will let them into heaven.

And if god died for our sins, that means we can commit as many sins we like and still get into heaven as long as at the end before we die we say something like "I believe in you god, I repent my sins, I hope you forgive me"

This thread is so long i doubt anyone will get to read this.. not that it matters anyway.

I dont really believe in god, however, i do believe in something. I believe in energy and karma. Maybe god is just energy and its all around us, everywhere.
