I've never tried this but I would think it isn't as easy as you make it sound..

First of all, it would take a quite proficient projector to be able to project on a scheduled time, travel to a new place and hold the concentration and still be in the RTZ. Then even if one gets to the right place at right time with his right mind, I'd think that it won't work if the other person isn't laying there, done the proper preparations and is ready to be pulled out. If the person is sleeping then it shouldn't work in my opinion, if the person is awake, but not in a state from which he can project, I don't think anyone can force him out(there maybe some exceptions, but in general). So the person who wants to be pulled out should already be in a state where his astral body is loosened from the physical and he is still awake.. practically projected already.

The pulling out method might be of help in an occasion when you are ready to project, but can't get out of your body by yourself if you get stuck with your physical body with some part of your astral body. In most cases I've been able to forcefully pull myself out with my own 'strenght' if it has happened to me, but if you would get stuck on multiple places, then maybe someone could help to pull you out. Still, even in this occasion I'd think it would be way easier to pray/ask someone to come help you out of your body by pulling you out(I mean ask your higher self/angels or whatever you can think of). And perhaps someone will come.

So in my opinion the pulling out method seems only useful to someone who already is able to project but constantly gets stuck to his body so bad that he can't pull himself out.. and has a very proficient projector friend. ;) Still, getting stuck regularly would indicate some energy blockages on his body, and maybe he should do more energy work to resolve this issue by himself.

But still, if there is someone proficient enough to try this out, it would be interesting to hear how it goes. So if you get to try this with someone, please post the results of your experiment.. ;)

"I believe this is due to the fact the when we are injured eg. sprained ankle, our energy body also experiences the injury. If we are able to focus all of our healing energy on the injury then the energy body is able to recover quicker. This in turn decreases the time the physical body needs to heal."

I agree. From what I've seen, one could pretty much instantly remove most small sprains/bumbs/scratches if they are treated within minutes when they happen. When the injury settles in to your energy body it seems to require more work and time to get rid of. Although it's healing process can still be accelerated.

Energizing the injured area at this kind of situation is good, although I've gotten better results with removing diseased energy from the point of injury first. On many occasions it is enough to fade away the problem.

Hello all!

Seems like this part of the forum has been quite dead for a while now. Energy healing is one of the areas which holds some interest for me, so I'm interested in knowing a few things from you astral projectors. First of all: Have you ever been in some energy healing session? If so, which healing method was used, and what was your experience of it?

Second, if you yourself know some healing method(s) what are your experiences of those? Has it(they) been reliable, what kind of symptoms have you been able to correct and so on. If you know many techniques, how do they relate to eachother in your perception?

Also if there are some exceptional things which has happened to you or someone you know by some energy healing method (and why not by any alternative medical care) it would be interesting to hear it.

Let's share!

Hello there pacifist575!

Welcome to the forums. Although I'm new here also, I hope that all your discussions here will be fruitful and you will make friends here.

I'm in somewhat lucky position because I have some irl friends and relatives with whom I can discuss these things. Although none of them master AP, it still is nice to have that kind of people around you. Hopefully you can find some of that from here.

Indeed, everyone can learn from eachother.

Hello there mikael.

I'm not sure what was the point of your post.. was it meant as a guide, as I understood it, or was there any response you were trying to get from people?

As the overall process goes, that's one way of doing it. It seems to me that you take a lot of time in every step of the process.. taking around an hour or so to achieve projection. Which is quite a long time, too long perhaps for most to stay awake. And as for stages, what you describe as sleep paralysis I would say is rather a trance state. Sleep paralysis occurs, As I have understood it, when you already have left your body, thus can't you can't project from sleep paralysis unless your astral body returns to body to re-project first. I'm not quite sure if this is accurate, but in my case, I have never been able to project from what I would call sleep paralysis, which seems to give some confirmation to this.

But still, it really doesn't matter if it's called trance or waking paralysis, the point is that there is an altered state where your body feels different.. quite dead actually, although you can break a trance whenever you feel like it, though it may take a bit effort to more a limb.

There are some techniques to speeden the process, which might be useful to you and others. One being silencing the mind. You seem to achieve it by counting your breaths and listening the ringing of your head, which is just fine. But just silencing yourself, doing nothing may prove to be faster for some, although this takes more practise at first.

The easiest method of projection is just keeping your awareness outside of your body. First relax all your muscles, take couple deep breaths, settle in. Then move your point of awareness outside your body by bouncing it off the wall, or spinning it around your room and trying to feel YOU being there as you do this and all the things related to projection will happen naturally. Even more effective is if you can feel yourself being in a body in different place then you are, say just laying in your bed, but heading different direction than you actually are.. this seems to induce projection very quickly, but it is very very difficult, at least for me, to get in this state on purpose. I've done this accidentally a few times, when I've tried to project from my bed, laying down the different way I'm used to sleep.. so because I'm accustomed to laying the different way my memory/subconscious/whatever seems to flick me around when I forget that I'm laying there. It may be hard for me, but some of you may be natural with this and achieve very fast projections with this method.

All in all, your way of doing it is just fine! Furthermore, if it works for you, don't fix it. Of course you may want to try different methods too to check if some of those would work even better for you. As for the guide, it's one way of doing it, as I said.. and there are many others. None of these is an ultimate technique, they are just different as are people. Which works for one, doesn't work all that well for another, so knowledge is power here. Try out many different techniques and keep the ones which give you best results. ;)

Hello there astralmugee!

I've learned a few methods in energy healing and such, but haven't really put these skill to use much. I would be willing to give it a try, I've seen/heard quite spectacular things happen to "uncurable" sicknesses in my time, so it might be of help. If not, then there is nothing lost, except an hour or so of my time, but I'm willing to lose it in the hopes of helping you.

I would need your name, location, problem areas and preferably picture in order to focus the energy in the right place. I think I could somewhat project the energy to you by only your nickname here too by intuition, but the more I get the more I can do.

So if you are willing to try this out, PM me or something so we can discuss the details(name, location, picture, time of treatment, whatever you feel comfortable sharing with stranger in the net) in private and hopefully I can be of some help with your condition.

Hello there, fellow projectors!

Greetings from Finland!

I've been registered here a two times before, but they seem to clean up unused accounts quite quickly.. so I haven't really been very active here, but this time I try not to be deleted so quickly.. ;)

I have practised astral projection and related techniques for around 15 years, but have never trained with schedule or punctually, so I'd describe my training as casual on/off thingie. I'm quite convinced that anyone can surpass me in AP in few months of scheduled training, and this has been one thing which I like to emphasize with new projectors. Don't do how I have done, do as I say and you'll be more proficient than me in no time. :)

Still I've experienced dozens, maybe hundreds of projections. Most of which I can't recall anymore.. partly because I have never kept projection journal actively, partly because I lost my backups which held the small portion of my projections which I had written down. Quite a shame really. One thing which I've noticed but never seem to learn from it is that no matter how vivid and how sure you are that: "There is no way I can forget this experience!".. you most likely do! If you won't get up and write it down immediately. At least this is how it seems to work with me.

The reason why I haven't practised regularly is partly because I have spread my interests wide and tried to learn too many things at once, thus accomplishing none of them. AP is perhaps the most successful field of these and really the starting point and my favorite which has always been with me.

From the projections which I still can remember, most are close to home.. making sure I remember the experience the next day. Like projecting, showing my hand through the wall and taking a spin outside the bedroom windows and such.. and then quickly returning to my body and downloading the memories. After which I have re-projected for a longer adventure if possible. Most of which (any?) I can't remember, but I think I had some written down in those lost experiences from my youth.

Nice to meet you all,
Harrif

Yes, you seem to be very close to actual projection. From what you describe, you seem to be at the focal point of whether to project or not.

I'm didn't quite get the feel if you want to accomplish projection or not, but you are quite lucky if you spontaneusly get to the point of projection, without any previous training. If you want to project, you just have to stay relaxed and NOT freak out. I know it sounds hard, but practise makes perfect. When you encounter that state enough times, you get accustumed to it and it doesn't scare you enough to waste the projection. Then just use some exit method to project (Robert Bruces ROPE seems to be the popular one).

If you are unwilling to project, then I don't really know how you can avoid waking up in this state. Normally from what I gather, very few people get to know this state more than once or twice in their life if they aren't pursuing it. Atleast you know how to break it. Freaking out is one good way, and so is any strong emotion, thinking and many others. Except if this is accompanied by body paralysis, as you seem to describe.. then just focus on moving a single toe or something with all your might to break the paralysis as fast as possible.

Hi Stu!

I'm not quite sure what to make of from you experiences.. but I've had couple quite similar ones. Once I "woke up" about 7 times in a row, and didn't have a clue at real waking up if I was actually awake. It wasn't a nice experience, but a curious one still. In my case, I think I had some entity somehow interfering me waking up. Succubus I would think, because of how I always found out I didn't really wake up. I guess most of you knows what that means.

In your case, however, I don't see any evidence of any entity interfering. Maybe you had just false awakenings, with a twist of premonition.. maybe someone will know better.
