Welcome to Astral Chat! / Suicide

well i have seen so many people get totally screwed from pot.
And yes in cases i have seen personally it greatly increases depression, not during the high though... during the high you can feel great.. but coming down and in between hits you feel like excrement.

People say it's not addictive and you can get off it any time, you just dont want to because "there's nothing wrong with it".... riiiight...
How about you try going off it for a month? starting today, if you can't do it then you're addicted.

You can get addicted to any chemical you take in. You can even get addicted to people due to their scent and saliva (for closer relationships), I've experienced this personally with a g/f of 9 months.

Seeing how you dont seem to have many people you can really talk to, i doubt you have anyone that you would listen to that really know the dangers of any drugs including pot.

I'm not a total anti-marijuana preacher either. I have taken it myself a few times, it felt good on the high (nothing too great) but coming down made me so paranoid. It's true that it affects different people in different ways.
I can be slightly (not totally) paranoid most of the time, and it just increased that paranoia for quite some time.
You're depressed, so it therefore is increasing your deppression and the more you take it, the longer it will keep you depressed.

and about getting help... You can go and see a Psychologist, they dont prescribe drugs. Psychiatrists do.
Psychologist help you in different ways, giving you someone to talk to and work through your problems.

If you want true clarity and strength get off marijuana. It's just another weakness that you could do without.

And do you have a job? or go to school?

yeah heter dont worry, life can be great.
If you're not in to nature (which it sounds you're not and most teens arent) then create something.

Give yourself a project, like to keep myself busy i write music, work on art and coding for an online multiplayer game im developing, write stories.
Or even physically build something outside, that'll give you something to do, and a sense of achievement when you're done.

The illuminati may control politics, royal families, the media, and just about everything... but they dont control individuals.

Get a small group of individuals together and start something new... anything... open peoples minds to the illuminati (WITHOUT PREACHING!!!!) and just have fun.

Yeah I agree, yet again, with beavis.

I also see where you're coming from, 'If it's so great outside why stay inside and do homework?... for a subject i probably will never use again'.. that attitude is the reason I dropped out of highschool.. stupid me .

But why not try to make your own better world, I'm not sayin change this one completely, but start something. Even if it's a small group of people, things can grow if put into motion properly.

I think this world needs as many people that can see it's being controlled by evil powers as possible. Why not stick around for a while... see what happens.

Blade Flame Osiris

Nice. I once ran an online gaming clan called Fire Blade... kinda reminds me of that... and well Osiris.. i guess if there was cannibalism in the online games i'd do my best to stop it lol.

I think I can field those questions just as well as any other person on this planet can..

"So when after 2012 do these changes accur?"
-548.7356 days

"What do you mean by saying that we can't stay on the planet if we dont have high enough vibrations?"
-Well there's a new dance coming in to this planet called 'The Vibrate' if ya can't do it you get kicked off the planet.

"Are we gonna find ourselves suddenly standing on nothing in the middle of space?"
-Yes.. or.. No

"Why do those ancient civilizations correspond with the elements?"
-Cause the elements match their eyes.

"Why do we relate to air in any way? "
-Cause it matches our eyes and it tastes good.

And seriously, i think it's a bit ridiculous to say that people who are not prepared 'vibrationally' won't be able to "ascend". Everyone does it each night when they sleep.
It's a natural thing. Just because one person may be able to do it on purpose better doesn't mean jack----...
It's just a replay of all those childish club house rules like 'if you can't spit over that fence you have to find another planet to live on!'

well you know what... i'm telling mummy.

Well there are already artificial and prosthetic limbs and a few organs. I don't think it'll be too long now 'til theres a mechanical version of every bodypart.

Then all you'll need is a brain... which some world leaders seem to be coping pretty well without anyway.

So really the only question is how long can the brain survive, as that seems to be the only thing holding us in this body.

I am well aware that who we are isn't just a brain, but the brain is like the control panel for our conscience. It's the only body part we really need to still be who we are. So as long as the brain stays healthy we can still communicate our conscience correctly.

Who knows, maybe in the future humans will no longer be made of flesh, but instead, robots with a brain.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Mystic Web

Just the fact that the guy who runs Mystic Web believes himself to be Beelzebub incarnate is enough to keep me from trusting it.

And when he starts getting you to invoke him and his demonic master he starts pushing the limits of the sane.

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / the nature of Time
March 22, 2005, 21:44:56
And that proves nothing at all and seems like a waste of time.

Heres a few things i jotted down in my journal.

Thoughts On Time

East/West = Now/Then:
Just like east and west time continues... You can travel west forever without an actual destination.
However, it cant be like north/south cause they are destinations. So time is a direction, not a destination.

Perception:
When you're having fun and a good time thirty minutes could seem like five minutes. If you're bored and uncomfortable thirty minutes could seem like two hours. So why cant you stop time all together or speed it up at will using ur perception of it.
But if you could control your perception then you could change the entire world in your own eyes.

What If Everything Stopped?:
What if the world stopped turning so there was no day and night, all clocks stopped and no one paid attention to time, would it still exist?

Or if the world stopping is too much to think about try this. If you were stuck in a room with no windows, no clocks, no calenders... would time still exist for you?

thanks AP for your encouraging reply.
I'll try not to open my eyes next time.

even though i have been researching projecting for many months now i hadn't come across anything that said to not open ur eyes... but it makes sense as thats when the difficulty began.

Well I've had many lucid dreams but that's about how far I've been, until today.

Due to my recent escape from highschool I've been able to sleep in for as long as I want, so this experience happened at around 1:10 pm today.

I was lying on my side after waking up from an interesting dream and decided to try to get back into either that or another dream.
As I was relaxing i started to feel a warm buzzing feeling along my back which I guessed were the 'vibrations' but i was expecting something a little stronger or more violent.
This buzz started to spread around my whole body and i could kinda feel my energy body slip a little.
At this point in time i could sense i wasn't connected to my physical body. The only problem was i couldn't move. I attempted to roll over and sit up but no such luck. I opened my eyes a little bit to see my chest of drawers and poster at the end of my bed.
There was something weird about them though... everything seemed to be on too much of an angle.. as if i was standing up straight but my room was on its side. but i knew i was lying down.
I raised my energy arm and moved it around a bit but i couldn't see it... i could only feel it moving (it may have been moving under my blanket or something).
My eyes started to close and soon it was all over.

I'm still not 100% sure as to what happened, so any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS. I havnt been trying to astral project for quite some time now.

PPS. Last night I thought to myself 'maybe I'm just not meant to exit yet, I'm sure my grandad will help me when I am'... My mother has been told by a number of respectable psychics that my grandad is guiding me.

I personally don't think it's ever too early.
Just don't make it out like it's a big and different thing. You could discuss dreams and what is possible with the mind maybe at breakfast each morning.

If you were to wait too long until you figured it was the 'right' time it might be too late. She might have too many outside influences on her and she'll just think the crazy parentals have been in the sun too long.
Whereas if she knows it's normal from the get-go it'll be fine.

The clues about what to see may have been a bit much....

Is it a postcard?

If so... the clues were too much.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / What Dreams May Come
June 10, 2004, 21:40:37
G'day everyone,

Just wondering how many of you have seen this film (based on the novel by Richard Matheson). It's incredible.
Honestly one of THE best films I have ever, ever seen.

I just can't believe I have had it on tape for around 3 or 4 years and never got around to watching it until just yesterday (I've watched it 3 times in 2 days).
It rings true to just about everything I believe about the afterlife (with a few exceptions).
Robin Williams is an amazing actor and truly gave the film that little bit extra, that feeling of warmth he always brings to movies.

I am truly surprised at how underrated it is, I didn't even really know what it was about, let alone know the true beauty of it. But I guess that really goes to show how the population is yet to open their minds up to what dreams may come.[;)]

Comments, reviews and critiques on the film are all welcome.

He's posts are seeming to bring only anger and annoyance to the boards.
It may be wise to keep an eye on him. I'm getting the exact same feeling from him that i was getting from that Shenron_2012 guy, and it's not good energy at all.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Energy Sub Forum

I think it might be a good idea to re-open the DBZer forum.

Alot of the topics and posters that would be in there are seeming to cause quite some distress and annoyance in the serious forums.
It would give moderators some place to send nonsense posts of dbzers and alike boosting their egos and talking rubbish.

These serious forums just seemed to have gone quite bad when the Energy sub forum was closed.

Just my oppinion.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dreaming of being Lucid
November 14, 2003, 03:33:24
last night i had a dream where i think i was lucid, but i didnt wake up straight away after it and write anything down, so i forgot alot of it.

but the memory i have of it isnt like the other lucid dream i had. it was almost as if being lucid was part of the dream.... kinda hard to explain and i hardly remember any of it... but i do remember i was "lucid" for a while, 10 or so minutes. being my second time i feel 10 minutes just wasnt right.

so is it possible to be dreaming that youre lucid, without actually being lucid??

sorry if this is confusing.... it is to me.

Welcome to Dreams! / Preparation For Real Life
October 30, 2003, 09:55:49
Ive had so many dreams that im about to die or im in a very serious and life threatening situation and it just occured to me that maybe its my subconcious' way to prepare me for similar events if they ever occur in the future. so by having these experiences maybe ill be able to keep a straight mind and get through it alright.

my scariest one that i remember was a few weeks ago and i was in a car driving through scotland i think, i lost control and the car was hanging on a cliff. i did every "reality check" i could think of at the time. i pinched myself and it hurt, i tried putting my hand through the door and it was solid, i even closed my eyes and saw blackness. i thought for sure i was about to die, next thing i know im falling. then i wake up.

ive had many others where ive felt like i was about to die and could feel my heart racing and thoughts get all rushed and frantic. i often dont even question if im dreaming.

closing my eyes usually works (it maybe hasnt 2 or 3 times).

Welcome to Dreams! / Syke's First Lucid Dream
October 25, 2003, 23:12:48
ok people, im rather happy as i just woke up from my first lucid dream since ive known what they are. the only other times ive been lucid were years ago in nightmares and id just wake myself up everytime something bad was about to happen because i didnt know i could stop it from actually happening in the dream.

Well, this is how the dream went (from just before and the lucid part anyway):

There was a bunch of my friends and some other people at a party at my friend, Dons, house (Dons Party! woop), but dons dad wanted all of us to leave for some reason unknown to me or my friends (a couple of nights ago we had a party and dons dad wasnt happy with the turn out).

Once i left i went home and was in my backyard and it was night time. There were some people in the backyard next door and i got a little curious and thought id take a look.
i was looking over the fence moving along so i could get to where i could see them while i was thinking to myself,
"I'd better stay low so they dont see me... take it slow or i might wake up... why am i being so queit?, im only dreaming. Wait a minute!! SWEET im Lucid!!!"
then it suddenly felt like everything around me was a little more under my control and i felt more free, like i broke away from a routine i was stuck in.
Then i wanted to fly, so i let go of the fence and lifted into the air. at this time i was thinking "Sweet... I cant wait to tell friends about this. hopefully this will be enough to get them starting LD and AP attempts!'
After just floating for a few seconds (not sure if i willed this to happen or not) i started lifting higher and higher into the night sky while looking down on mine and my neighbours yards and roofs.
Then my eyes started to ache and i tried squinting, cause i knew if i closed them id wake up. i had to close them slightly and i started getting flashes of my bedroom until i was awake again.

thats it. i know its not much and i was only lucid for about 30 or 40 seconds before waking up, but it was enough for me for my first time. it gave me a taste and something to aim for.

thanks for reading.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Martial Arts
July 31, 2004, 20:11:00
I did about 6 months of Go-Kan-Ryu Karate and I've just started Wing Chun Kung Fu up recently... but due to sickness, school and laziness ive only had one months training.... i hope to get back in to it as soon as possible.

GKR is good for simply fighting, self defence and tournament style stuff but i got kinda bored with the whole block, punch, kick, block ect.
Whereas Wing Chun has so much more culture and tradition to it. It's definatly an art form.

Because i havnt been getting much training in ive developed my own training aids at home which have proven to be quite effective.

Thanks.. i shall do that.

Hopefully i'll have some similar experiences to share in the future

They may take our lies!.. But they will never take.. Our EGOS!!!!
WWAAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!

Nay, thanks for the cool post. Just adding more to my desire to actually get out and about.
Unfortunately I'm still unable to relax properly I think, never even experienced the vibrations.

Good luck on your ventures to the API.

Interesting, I myself have had similar experiences where I would be in a dream and then "astral project". I think that it would just make me somewhat lucid... and then I'd return to the dream thinking it was real.

They certainly are confusing experiences, but I feel that I didnt actually project, just stayed in the same dream but gained an odd form of lucidity... but you're experience may have been different.

My experiences have been really strange because I didn't know it was a dream, but I knew I wasn't physical and was able to bend reality and do everything you can in a lucid dream.

Once in one of these dreams I got stuck in this fake real-time zone and was able to talk to a friend to try and find a way to bring me back... it was more of an adventure then anything scary
#48
I'm just attempting for the pure fun and adventure of it all... That's all for now.
