After months of effort, trying, disapointement I finally achieved a classic OBE without even having the intent in that night!!!!
I won't start telling what happened and otherd details because there are other more better experiences than mine. But I would like to point some things.
1.I didn't even wanted to exercise AP in that night.I just wanted to go to sleep because it was already late and I had to wake up soon in the morning.
2.I had the weirdest posture to try an OBE.I was sleeping on my stomach with my legs and arms twisted and bended in every way, and my face crushed by the pillow, like when you had a hard day and you just want to sleep.
3.I found that imagination helps me exit very quicly.Having the intent of hovering, exiting din't worked.I imagined there are ropes tied to my neck arms and legs and that someone is pulling me up with them. It's  strange I don't have to imagine I am going up or the ropes tied to me, just the thought that someone is pulling me up seems to do the trick.
4.At one point my head was literally stuck in my body.Felt like I had concrete around it and that I can't move it.Imagine yourself hovering with your feet up at 60 degrees with the bed and  your neck bended in a very painfull way.Lucky for me I managed to get out.It felt like a huge relief and that a presure was lifted from me
5.I was FLYING right after I went out!!!It was AMAZING, UNBELIEVABLE and I was light like a feather, i'm still shcked.
6.Evn managed to get throw a wall!!At first I was like a rubber ball that always returns when it hits it but somehow I managed to get coss the wall(I had a greyish colour when looked from inside, always wandered how it is to pass throw a wall).

It happened last night and I feel like screaming the lungs out of me.The entire day was marvelous, I was happy, cheerfull, no one could ruin my mood. Now I'm truly convinced that OBE'S are real and for god's sake I WAS FLYING!!!!!!!!.I always wanted to fly like a bird when I was little, but to actually happen is just to much for me.I'm still like "WHAT THE F%@K!!This really happened to me!!!"
WHO GETS TO FLY ALL BY HIMSLEF!!!

Well this is my post hope you could understand it.It's in our human nature to share our feelings, emotions and thoughts and I can't tell it to anybody so I had to channel them here.

Opening your third eye means that your ego is destroyed, you are close to nirvana, you can read thoughts, see the aura of people. You have spent hours each day in meditation or prayer, chanting mantras.
Your personality is shatered into thousands of pieces, while you made contact with your higher self. You have no interest in your courent life and you have burned all your karma, meaning that you won't have to reincarnate anymore. You are one step closer to nirvana, the budha state.

I sugest your read some serious yoga books before making claims like this.Today my dog started to bite my shoes.I don't see any meaning in that :|

P.S. dogs like to lick people's faces

I think sleep paralysis is the key to have an OBE.
Find out how you can achive it and you can project.
#29
I remember when my brother woke me up from sleep paralysys by screaming:"Dinner time !!!".I needed only a few seconds to be out, but I sudendly hear his annoying voice shouting right in my ear.
He never knew why I hit him that day

That's slightly true.  I have acknowledged that I was "trying too hard" and that has inhibited me in the past.  And I'm not trying to dispute that possibility now, it's just that the experience is different this time around.  I don't feel like I am pushing myself to achieve OBEs, I feel like I am being pushed by something else.  And it's not just AP and other types of projection, but all kinds of metaphysical abilities.  I've been studying this stuff for a long time and I have been practicing different types of psychic/AP experience for a long time.  But it's never felt like it does now, and by that I mean that it literally feels like I'm going to explode into this psychic experience that will be massively overwhelming.  For some reason I can't release this build-up.  I really do want to successfully have OBEs and exercise my psychic muscles, but lately it hasn't felt like something I want to do, but rather something I have to do.  It's a difficult experience to explain.

I've never been disciplined about anything in my life, but over the past month and a half I have practiced AP every single day.  I practice every night when I go to bed (but who wouldn't it's a great time when you don't have much available free time) and I usually find at least 2 hours a day that I can sit/lay down and practice.  I'm really not exaggerating when I say this either.  It's the strangest thing.  I think i was more determined to AP 2 years ago but I didn't practice like this.  I really feel like someone else takes over my body as soon as I've got enough time to practice.

It's just weird.

I'm in the exact situation.I have been trying so hard in the past 6 months and so far haven't met my expectations. It's like I'm forbiden, stopped, blocked to enter this incredible realm of AP.
You know when something actually hapened?Being very disapointed by myself, I tried te ultimate and the hardest method:sleep deprivation.I stayed awake for 2 days.It was hard, punishing for my body and mental and I would ask myself:"Does it worth it?"Seconds after I got in my bed to finally go asleep I was in vibrations. It was strange but my mind was clear but my body very tired/I started having incredible spinning motions and after a while I just literally feel on the floor.I was blind but I could realize I was finally out.I mumbled a while in the darknesss(pitch black, couldn't even sence any light) then suddendly I was back in my bed.
That's the onlly true experience I ever had.Other than that, it's just vibrations, sometimes sleep paralysis, but they don't burst into an OBE.It's like a continuos taunt, showing me that "AP is a real thing but you can't have it"
I'm sick of ap books, tired of them and I just deleted all the 20 books about ap I had.
I know about relaxing, vizualizations, affirmations, etc. but for me it feels like a forbiden fruit, it's there but I can't touch it.And I really wonder why. Some can do it every day, others like me can't.
I even wondered if I was trying to hard. For a month I stopped reading everything about it and only practice it 3-4 times a week. The results are horible, I can't even reach vibrations, when in the past it would happen at least once a week.
I'm not even upset anymore, my atitude is like"Wathever, it's not for me".Like you, I was never diciplined in anything till this obe practice and I have to admit it was the first thing I trully did with passion and devoument

no one stoped you from coming on this site(a good hacker could destroy Astral Pulse in 5 minutes) and no one is stoping us from reading books about AP.Just because it's not mainstream doesn't mean it is stopped.
It's people's decision on how they use the intrenet or what books they read.
Of course somwhere in frozen Russia or some deep undergound lab in USA things like this have been researched, but it seems they are more interested in remote viewing from what we know :-D

I've heard of epileptics that can perceive time in slow motion before a crysis  and the explanation for THEM is that theyr brain starts to work much more faster for a short time, meaning they process information better and quicker.
Don't know about time going quicker :?

#33
I can't belive the news was on TV today.
I think the depression they they have is more like the sadness I feel when I finish reading a really, really good book that has a sad ending, or when a character dies or the bad feeling I get when I'm on the last pages of a great book and I'm like"I want more, it can't end now "
It's the lack of imagination of some teenagers/people that really haven't read anything till now and when they see something that plays with their imagination they just can't take it to much.

what you heard about the monks is in fact a siddhi and it's the power to chose your moment of death.
When the serpent Kundalini reaches the crown chakra, you achieve samdhi(hope I spelled right) and you gain powers/abilities such as the ability to chose when you want to die

Maybe I should reword my post, because I may have been too harsh on your teacher- but here's something about them (I used to be one, and I deal with them a lot)- in the level of school, many teachers of a discipline are mainly historians of that discipline- they teach you Freud and Jung (if you're lucky) and your basic theories on behavior- the ones that were in vogue when the textbook was written.  Many have degrees on that field but are not 'up on the latest discoveries', because they are not practicing, or because they are so happy with the specific discipline that they have embraced, and ignore (or even discount the validity) any school that is not the one they prefer.
Now, like I said before, in the time of Freud and Jung, the theories were very 'clear cut'- Freudians believed that everything psychological is tied to sexuality in one way or another, and Jungians went with the subconscious as grounds that are as collective as they are subjective, and therefore subject to interpretation.
The Freudian way of looking at things took precedence over many others-because it was mainly based on biology, and we know that the nineteenth and twentieth centuries were dedicated to looking at the world we see.  Not wrong, it was necessary in many ways- but to a point it led us to the extreme other side, and not balanced.
I'm ignoring the behaviorists because I think of them as 'technicians', etc.

There are very traditional psychologists (like La Berge, who I mentioned previously) that within the orthodoxy of psychology have broken ground in the study of such things as Lucid Dreams (which like I said before, are widely documented and at some point, 'proven to exist' in the lab (look up alpha intrusion, for example),  and then there are the transpersonal psychologists, who are breaking new ground every day, but are probably looked at sideways by 'traditional' psychologists.  Which is too bad, because if you look at what Freudians believe (mainly because it was what Freud believed) you'd be shocked and appalled.

Unfortunately most psychology teachers are still living in the twentieth century, with the viewpoint that we are animated robots.

Everything you said really decribes my teacher. She tells us about freud and basic knowledge about the mind but that's about it, I really can't imagine her researching more "new stuff" or updating her lessons.
The problem is that it's affecting every student because we are given an opinion as a fact without other points of view and it also stops us from researching more about sleep, dreams, different states of the mind because they all are "trash".School should elighten us or at least give us different opinions.IMO these are things that could have bigger impact on our lives.I'm not saying they should teach about OBE's and others but to say that "sleep is just a state were your body relaxes, there's nothing special about it, and know let's continue the lesson" stops everyone's curiosity or anyone's wish to find out more about these kind of things, especially when 2 of my classmates told me in one ocassion that they have lucid dreams and that they really are amazed by them.

We had the psychology class today and It was about imagination and it s products like hypnogogic and hypnopompic state(dont have to say that they werent explained in any way and were just briefly mentioned)
The topic moved along to dreams and how people die If they dont dream and I asked the teacher what happens with our mind when we have lucid dreams.
She looked shocked at me and started to tell us that dreams are nothing more than leftovers from our unconcious mind, that they dont have any meaning at all and that we should forget them as soon as we wake up, because they are useless.Even more she told us that lucid dreams DONT exist and we have the impresion that we become lucid just because our brains are MALFUNCTIONING and they dont behave in an normal way.
I myself had a few lucid dreams and can tell how vivid they can be and at that time I didnt had the idea to tell her about the  experiments done by LaBarge that show that persons can become lucid in REM sleep.
I am really disapointed that such an interesting topic like dreams is given only 5 minutes from our entire school year and even more, we are told to forget them and to not encourage any experience, because they are garbage and that normal and healthy persons dont have lucid dreams. If it was for me I would dedicate entire hours for ths topic.

How was this subject presented to you by experts, teachers, etc.

Nothing important will hapen in 2012.
First of all
-the 2012 thing is very profitable for book writers, movie makers, tv shows, so it's in their interest to promote 2012
-the mayans never disapeared. They still exist today
-the mayan calendar didn't ended in 22 decembre 2012.There are a lot of mayan tribes that continue to use the calendar and it doesn't end on that date
-the mayans didn't had any link to astrology or profecys whatsoever
-the mayans didn't knew anything about the galaxy or alingment with it's center
I'm very sory I can't give you the link to my source but it's not in english :-(
I sugest we keep oursleves calm and see if something actually happens.

About thel iluminati thing. Why haven't they gained control over the internet, humanitys current best source for knowledge? If I were an Iluminati I would make anything to stop sites like astral pulse. The rich people have their interest but can't you just pity them for loving money so much? They live a horible life with the constant fear that people won't buy their products or that they think different. They can have all the information in the world but it's no use to them if tey behave the way they do.
Knowldege isn't hidden, it's the ignorance of people that stops them.If they like the way they live, don't force them to belive you.We all have pc's, cell phones, television, but something made us research more, it continued to told us it is more about life.
Take it as the first step of your initiation, meaning that you must make somthing to earn the knowledge. It's more about than some people bringing information and telling you what to do, it's a personal journey were YOU make all the effort, you don't need other people to tell you the truth. It's a very comon belief that we humans are very dumb and we need some big authority like a priest ot teacher to enlighten us.
In hindu religion, a normal man that lives a normal life and completes all his duty towards family and country is equal to the biggest saint that lives in the mountains.
You don't need occult kinwoldege as long as you are a kind and peacefull person. But of course that others like us enjoy it more

Welcome to Astral Consciousness! / Re: Questions

I have heard the voices every time I would go in a deeper trance. All i can say is that they scare the crap of you.For me it's like a "ghost" is screaming in my ears and it builds in intensity till you brake the trance  or project and it's very intimidating.
But usually all you can hear is your name being called by different persons you know or even music(symphony usually).
#42
I extend the to further and wonder what could happen if you let's say, connect your throat chakra to another person the same way you want with the heart chakra.Would it allow some form of telepathy?
Just wondering :?
#43
I think you should just keep trying because from what you wrote you are really close with all those vibrations and lucid dreams and exit sensations.
I know it sounds simple but but keep trying every method because I think everyone has it's one pace of doing things.Things will come on their own even if you think you are stuck or you can't advance you will succed but for that you have to try and practice.
And now that christmas holidays are coming I sugest you start practicing projecting in the morning or even in the afternoon(I know how hard it can be to try at noghts)
#44
note that what's below works for me.Other more experienced people might disagree with me with good reasons, but anyway...Sadly, I don't do any energy work, or meditation, so maybe you could get faster and better results by regular practicing energy stimulation and all the other.

try this on weekend mornings.Let's say you sleeped for 8 hours.Don't get out of bed and try to see if you can fall asleep again. If you can't then:
-tell your familly members you want to "sleep" so they don't disturb you
-make your bed as comfortable as you can get.Meaning that you get as many pillows as you can.Your head should at least make a 45  degress angle with your bed.
-now all you have to do is to stay STILL!! meaning that you don't move a muscle, not even for a single imoment. You might get the sensation after 5 minutes that there are insects crawling in your hair, face.Don't move. You can swallow at this stage but try to stop the reflex as much as you can.
-now let your thoughts run as free as you can. Most books tell you that you must empty your mind but I found this unsuccesfull.Imgine anything you can, mostly ordinary things:talking with people, doing sports, driving, etc.Try to go with the flow and don't focus on anything.Sometimes you can watch the darkness of your eyelids, usually color patterns will apear.
-after some time it will start to get boring and you will feel the urge to move.don't be unpatient, I usually need 40-50 mintues to reach the trance state.
-after 15, even 35 minutes, you will enter a slight trance and a certain weight will be felt.Try to slow your breathing so that you maintain it
-currents from the back of your spine, heart or throat will start to appear.
-the suddendly, while you lay there wondering when the hell will something actually interesting happen a pressure will apear between your eyes( at least that's for me). Just noticing that presure will send your body in the all desired vibrational state. When entering it you will feel like floating, going up,or sometimes like you are diving, falling in nothingness.
-if the vibrations just go with nothing interesting hapening after them, quicly try to focus again on the spot from wich the vibrations started and they will apear with much more power
-aply the exit tecnique that suits you and there you go.

This worked for me after 2 weeks of nothing special ever happening and I was getting the feeling that I hit a dead end.The trick is to lay stil, even when all seems useless, boring, or your muscles and eyelids just scream to use them.View the entire process as a way to relax your mind and body.

Physical vibrations could possibly wake you up entirely.

they could help by waking you up from your sleep.Let's take a  cell phone for example.Tie it to your arm and set the alarm whenever you want. You make the phone vibrate but not to make noises when it's time for the alarm(mine goes at each 9 minutes if I don't stop it)
I think it could work just like rythmic napping:you set your alarm to go of at an interval of minutes so that with repeted awakenings and falling back to sleep, your mind becomes more alert and eventually you go in SP and then in an OBE.I'm gonna test it tonight.

#46
Felt the ear poping to and I found it also frightening, at one point I was scared that my eardrums will breakdown but you will get used to it.Happenes when I try to use the phone tehnique(When I'm awakening I don't move a muscle and I imagine a cell phone in my hand.)
I don't know why you are scared of these symptoms.Even if I haven't projected till now, having these symptoms makes me go in a real euphoria.Think that no one you know ever experienced what you feel and that you are in control.Just try to view the symptoms as friends that tell you you are on the right path.

Ryuk,
I'm not quite sure I understand you here:
When you say you "checked to see if I saw myself in bed or if I could pass between walls" , how were you able to do this unless you had already separated? Can you clarify?...

well if I couldn't do neither of those things then that means I didn't ap

When you are first learning it can be hard to know whether or not you have projected or not (once the vibrations have subsided). It can often feel like you are awake and have failed when you have actually separated.
I would suggest you use a reality check to find out for sure. Go with the vibrations and when they have finished pinch your nose shut and try to breathe through it. If you can breathe through your pinched nose, you know you are projecting already and you can then roll out of your body or try to exit by sitting up. If you can't do the check you are in sleep paralysis (it's still possible to roll out in sleep paralysis but it may take a lot of willpower, just keep attempting to roll - hard, and you will get out).
It will be much easier to progress once you know for sure whether you are projecting or not.

I pinched myself several times, checked to see if I saw myself in bed or If I could pass between walls :))
Guess I will just have to try more

I remember that Binaural beats made Robert Monroe have OBE.Said it in his first book that he listened to binaural beats for a week without nothing happening. After that he stopped(because he started feeling this pain in his chest) but he started having vibraitons, then after a period he projected.

In my opinion every sound that can relax you is perfect.First of all I don't know what monaural o isochronic beats are but I think that if you find a sound that relaxes you and puts your mind in a focus then you can use whatever sound you want.
I tested this thing by falling asleep at night with the music on my mp3.I put the volume a little down so I don't wake up completely and started listening to everything from orchestra, to rock, pop and jazz.As long as you don't move a muscle in 20-30 minutes you will feel completely relaxed and you will feel your body veary heavy, and you will start having these minidreams that last each time the pace of the songs change .Of course that binaural beats could work better because they maintain focus with their boring sound but regular music could work by making you more alert when for example you go from a nice slow song to a more agressive, rock genre that can prevent you from falling asleep.
Also binaural beats don't have to work imediattly. One night I listened to them for 1-2 hours then decided to go to sleep then the next moring managed to get vibrations 2 times and go in sleep paralysis(I actually heard myself breathing while my body was sleeping, very strange feling)

So I've been trying to AP for a few months. In this time I've experimented with a lot of techniques to get in trance.I can now have it pretty much when I wan't(in the morning or even at night If i have an afternoon nap).
The problems are when vibrations come and I can't seem to use any tecnique to get myself up(floating, rope, roll out), even though I got don't have any more the fear of leaving my body.
I hope you guys could help me by answering this querstions:
1.When the vibrations go, should I be able to move?
2.When should I try to exit:during the vibrations or after they go.
Different boks tell you different things :-(
Hope I get some help :-D
