A criterion for an energy vortex in a sound field

Measurements with intensity meters have shown that energy vortices exist in certain sound fields. In these vortices, sound energy flows around closed paths, in the steady state. Vortices occur in some sound fields (e.g., that of a point source near a reflecting edge), but not in others (e.g., that of a plane rigid piston in a plane rigid baffle). It is shown that in a two-dimensional or axisymmetric sound field, a necessary and sufficient condition for a vortex to exist is the presence of an isolated maximum or minimum in the stream function. Two examples are given for a vortex in (a) a duct of square cross section, and (b) the field of two monopole sources, one of which just extinguishes the other. Some relations for the interaction between two monopole sources are also given.

Abstract:
We demonstrate the power of using nonholonomic fields in various physical systems. Functional integrals over nonholonomic fields describe the statistical mechanics of defects in crystals and of vortices in superfluids and superconductors. Nonholonomic distortions of spacetime transform known physical laws in flat space into hitherto unknown laws in spaces with curvature and torsion, thereby leading to a new quantum equivalence principle for the quantum mechanics in such spaces. A gauge structure inherent in nonholonomic fields is exhibited and analyzed.

The vortex; key to future science
Introduction
In 1867, Lord Kelvin described atoms as vortex rings; the movement of the vortex giving rise to the illusion of matter. This theory was advocated and elaborated by celebrated scientists like Helmholtz, Maxwell and Sir Thomson. In the 20th century however, the vortex principle was forgotten when scientists discovered sub-atomic particles. The atom no longer was considered as the smallest quantity of matter, since it could be divided into smaller elementary particles.
In their book "The Vortex. Key to future science", British scientists David Ash and Peter Hewitt revitalize the concept of vortex energy by stating that not an atom but
- an elementary particle is a vortex of energy -
This vortex of energy is a spiral movement of energy around a continuously changing axis, thus forming a sphere-shaped movement of energy. With this concept, Einstein's famous formula E=mc2, stating that matter is equivalent to energy, is easier to understand. Matter is equivalent to energy because it is vortex movement of energy. Einstein's formula contains the velocity of light c. According to Ash and Hewitt, the velocity of the vortex movement of energy in our physical universe is equal to, or less than, the velocity of light.
Transubstantiation and the super-physical realm
The velocity of the vortex movement of energy is not limited. When this velocity exceeds the speed of light, the corresponding particle enters a "super-physical" reality. It is no longer detectable with human senses or physical instruments; invisible and intangible in our physical world. Objects that become super-physical even transcend our notion of space and time. The super-physical realm has its own notion of space and time, different from ours. By slowing down the movement of the vortex energy, the object would re-appear in our world. Ash and Hewitt call this process of speeding up the vortex energy movement beyond the critical speed of light or slowing down below the critical speed: transubstantiation. Transubstantiation only changes the substance of an object, not its form. It does not change the atomic or molecular structure of a body. This process of transubstantiation is also mentioned in the book "Keys of Enoch" by James Hurtak, who calls it transvirulance.
Through transubstantiation, an object can dematerialize and materialize. Thus, paranormal phenomena can be explained. The Indian holy man Sri Satya Sai Baba for instance is well known for his ability to materialize objects at will: for instance jewelry, and even extremely rare specimens of fruit. Several scientific studies concluded that the observed phenomena are genuine. When asked by one investigator, Professor of Psychology Haraldsson, how he materializes objects, Sai Baba replied: "Mental creation. I think, imagine, and then it is there." To the question why the majority of people is not capable of doing this, he answered "We are all like matches. The difference is that I am on fire." Sai Baba's mental capacities allow him to induce transubstantiation.
Mind is the basic substance. Matter is the name given to mind when it takes form.
Matter, space and time as aspects of the vortex
Besides matter, also space and time can be seen as aspects of the vortex. Consider a vortex of energy forming matter. A vortex is not restricted to a certain area. As the vortex extends out, the energy would get thinner, would get infinitesimal small at large distances from the center, but would never disappear. This very thin matter is the apparent void of space. Or, one could say, matter is very dense space. Matter and space are two aspects of the same vortex of energy. We only perceive matter and space as different because of our senses. All our senses are limited. Our awareness is constrained within certain bands by our threshold of perception. (For instance: we can only see a limited part of the light spectrum. Our eyes can not detect light below ultraviolet or beyond infrared.) Matter is the dense central region of the vortex, which we can detect with our senses. Space consists of the thin peripheral region of the vortex, which is below our threshold of perception. Matter has no real boundary; its surface is subjective, corresponding to the lowest intensity of vortex energy that we can perceive. We experience everyday matter as substantial because it represents a high concentration of vortex energy. In bodies of matter, billions of vortexes are packed together in atoms and molecules. The surface of a solid, or liquid, or even a cloud of gas, marks a sudden increase in the number of vortices. This sudden high concentration of vortex energy is what our senses perceive as matter. Objects appear to have a boundary. But this is an illusion. It is simply that our senses are incapable of detecting the sparse energy spreading out in all directions. Space can be pictured as a bubble of vortex energy surrounding matter. If it would be possible to remove every particle of matter in the universe, then space would completely disappear also. On the other hand, space is shaped according to the matter it engulfs. This is predicted by Relativity Theory also and is verified by experiments. Light from distant stars does not travel in straight lines through space. It is deflected by other stars that are close to its path. Once when Einstein was asked to explain his Relativity Theory in a few sentences, his reply in a nutshell was: "Remove matter from the universe, and you also remove space and time." In view of the vortex theory, time can be seen as emanating from the movement of the vortex. In general, time is established by a consecutive sequence of events. Thus the movement of the vortex creates time.
A hierarchy of super-physical realms
An object of which the speed of the vortex movement is increased above the speed of light will disappear from this physical universe and enter a super-physical universe. This super-physical universe has its own space-time realm, distinct from the physical space-time. The physical and super-physical universes are interpenetrating each other. They are not separated by space and time but by a dimension that is the speed of the vortex movement. It is well possible that this super-physical realm has its own critical speed of vortex movement; for instance twice the speed of light. Going through this barrier would transubstantiate an object into a second higher realm of super-energy and so on. Each higher realm includes all the lower ones, because greater speeds contain all lesser speeds. In each realm, all forms of energy with speeds at or below the speed of its critical speed can exist. The super-physical is the living sphere of nature elementals like elves, gnomes and fairies. Higher realms are occupied by angelic beings, of which is often said that they inhabit a hierarchy of worlds. In view of the vortex, each of these worlds would be characterized by a certain critical speed of the vortex energy.
This concept of a hierarchy of super-physical worlds can be viewed in what is known in the healing world as the energy bodies that surround a physical body. Each energy body could be a body in one of the super-physical realms.
Through scientific experiments it is known that each living physical body is surrounded by an energy body that is the blueprint of the physical body. Before a plant starts to grow a leaf, it can be detected in the energy field surrounding the plant. Changes in the physical form can be detected in the energy field first. According to David Ash this energy field is a super-physical field.
Interaction between the physical realm and super-physical realms
Super-energy interacts with living matter through resonance. The DNA in the cells of living organisms acts as a receiver of information from the super-physical realm. DNA molecules have a double helix structure coiled repeatedly upon itself, thus forming a coil reminiscent of that in a radio set. Just like a radio coil can pick up radio waves which the rest of the tuning device of the radio transforms into sound, the DNA picks up super-physical information and relays this to the cell. This information governs the development of the cell. For instance it determines if the cell behaves like a liver cell or a skin cell. All the genetic information of a living being is contained within the DNA. Each cell has the same DNA. The super-physical information received by the DNA determines which section of the DNA is read, which group of genes is switched on or off.
The double helix structure of DNA is not the end-stage of the human evolution. We are evolving towards a 6-double helix structure. This twelve stranded DNA coil will enable humans to receive information from multiple dimensions. Little known medical tests have shown that people who have been doing a lot of inner work through meditation have developed three or four stranded DNA. And many of the children born nowadays already enter the world with three or four stranded DNA.
Healing
In alternative medicine there are many different therapies employing a wide variety of techniques. There is a key principle which most of them share: the recognition of an invisible energy in and around the body, which is essential to its integrity and well being. The energy body is said to act as a blueprint for the physical form, influencing its processes and functions. If the energy body is treated, the physical body will heal itself. This energy body can be seen as a super-physical body interpenetrating the physical body.
Healing is a therapeutic interaction between the super-physical body of the practitioner and that of the patient without the intervention of any instruments or remedies. This interaction is based on resonance. The practitioner enters a state of consciousness to which the super-physical body of the patient starts to resonate. It is possible to heal at a distance, even going back or forward in time. This also becomes understandable in view of the vortex energy. The healer is operating on the super-physical level and thus can transcend our physical space and time.
Transubstantiation and space-time travel
Through transubstantiation, bodies can move out of the physical space-time, travel through the super-physical realm (outside space and time) and reappear in a different physical space-time. It is thus possible to traverse in a short time huge distances, that would require speeds exceeding the speed of light when traveled through our physical universe. It is also possible to travel back in time.
Trough the concept of transubstantiation, UFO phenomena, like the sudden appearance or disappearance of flying objects, can be explained. And simultaneously, the ability to transverse huge distances of interstellar space becomes understandable. It is not farfetched to suppose that an advanced alien life form has invented a machine that can change the speed of the energy movement of vortexes, or is able to do it by mental power.
Interesting in this view are the experiments by physicist Tesla in the beginning of this century. He is believed to have build a secret military machine, based on very high frequency electric and magnetic fields, that could make an object disappear for a while. In the so-called Philadelphia experiment, the USS Eldridge was anchored in Philadelphia harbor in the summer of 1943. It had a full crew on board and was equipped with Tesla's secret machinery. When Tesla's device was turned on, the ship became invisible and disappeared from the radar screen. Several minutes later it reappeared, but several crewmembers where merged with the ship and could only be freed through amputation. Two crewmembers where gone, only to reappear 40 years later in a top secret military complex. Reportedly, one of them was send back through time to stop the experiment. Their biological clock was deranged such that their aging process was speeded up. During the experiment, the ship has been seen at a location hundreds of miles away.
Conclusion
"The Vortex. Key to future science" is an important book. It raises consciousness. It also raises questions that are still to be answered.
Why does the super-physical realm have a different space-time concept? Space and time are both aspects of the vortex. Somehow the change in speed of the vortex movement of energy is supposed to change the concept of space and time. Why and how are not yet understood.
If the energy body of a living physical body is super-physical, how can it be detected by physical instruments? Is this through some kind of resonance process as in a radio or in the DNA?

Quantum Perception

I find that the intellect can only carry one just so far- the tendency is for intellect to operate along limited lines of evidence and logic, and intellect has the failing that it does not adequately integrate all aspects of reality- by definition, it has to pick and choose just which things to look at, which things will fit the pre- existing sensory conditioned worldview of the intellect holder ( its systematics ). That is the process by which intellect works- NOT A BAD DEAL now, just insufficient.
 
One of the only ways by which to most effectively integrate one's conscious and subconscious awarenesses of reality is to MEDITATE.
 
Frankly, meditation is what gets most of the credit for my having been at all hopeful or capable of opening up to other views and gradually shedding my former ones.
 
Hierarchically driven societies such as ours do so very strongly socialize people into the ways that are acceptable to the maintaining of the leadership systems- the exercise of rulership and power, well lubricated by the workings of the money system, merely serve to perpetuate themselves along with the huge social problems that such narrow inefficient systems fail practically to address, almost by definition in the case of American Capitalism.
 
Raw Capitalism and unlimited ' free markets ' work best where a people have the OPTION of obtaining their basic needs from the land whereupon they live- trading at levels of economy above basic creature needs- that is why American Capitalism evolved when it did IN ONE OF THIS WORLD'S ONLY FRONTIER COUNTRIES at that time, IN THE FIRST PLACE ! Once capitalist abuses and the resulting social imbalances took hold ' back East ', people were still free to move farther into the frontier, ' Go West.....'. Which is exactly WHAT they did, and WHY THEY WENT. Except that today there is no more American ' frontier ' worth mentioning, and the planet as a whole is fast losing frontier lands as well.
 
Thus, Socialism is almost mandatory for the workings of a ' healthy ' centralized society ( maybe an oxymoron itself ).
 
The centralized distribution of resources in attempting to supply human needs IS EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE NOW- but more than any other system, money and finance in Capitalism is a very inaccurate representation of true wealth and economic status. ( That is why nations around the world are quickly adopting the new debt- free EURO- currency as their standard for International Trade. ) Business is essentially a competitive game that is played by adult humans who we forget are really overgrown children. And such children display little if any sensitivity to the plight of their fellow human beings who are lacking basic creature needs and human rights. They have not a clue the harm being perpetrated in the name of ' system ', a collective blindness eagerly indulged in by the most influential members of the ruling and wealthy caste. Any country overseas who resists the exploitation of their own nation's resources by Corporate America as endorsed by U.S. foreign policy is hysterically libeled and so conveniently labeled ' TERROR '.
 
That is why there is now occurring a dramatic dovetailing together of many ' liberal ' minded forces and movements in American society ( catalyzed by the New Age )- people are slowly becoming aware, or are being made aware, of a substantially different view of reality than the one we were allowed under the typical Anglo- Saxon Culture we inherited from our forefathers. Imperial Anglo- Saxon Culture works only for those who can use up resources locally ( and then apply those to playing the system ), and then are free to move on to the next region to be victimized. It ' works ', that is, unless or until the tribes wake up and resist, as the Moslems do today, or until the most accessible resources of the globe are simply used up once and for all time. We show almost no sign of changing our course under the Fundamentalist Bush Cabinet. So, we can expect more and mounting wars, and escalating social problems- a national dynamic that, historically, typically never puts the brakes on of its own volition- and so collapse may be the only possible outcome. There has never yet been an Empire that saw its way to change course once its decline set in. EXCEPT to keep on keeping on doing the same old same old...
 
The goal of ultimate security, perfect peace, is the very thing we drive away from ourselves by clinging to the illusion that we can have it all at the expense of those who shall and do end up with nothing- the REAL WORLD JUST DOES NOT OPERATE THAT WAY. Not for long.
 
Native Peoples worldwide have known these things FOR MILLENNIA- that is the precise REASON why they were not interested in developing these artificial materialistic systems for themselves- they could have- they chose not to do so- then and today- their close contact with the Natural World kept their societies ever in present awareness and detailed remembrance of how the world really operates ( Natives call it A- Walk- In- The- Woods )- but when the time came for the institution of mono- crop agriculture to solidify that way of separation from the natural cycles and ecologies in the land, the lessons taught by the lands were cut down along with the clear- cut trees, whose sacrifice made way for yet more agriculture and irrigation and the human overpopulation IT CAUSED !
 
And so you have it, in a nutshell, functionally speaking, just how this system got started AS a narrow, intellectually driven system, and some insights on how it perpetuates itself, as if it all were like an independently living thing in its own right.
 
It just goes to show that we need to be very careful what we pray for, or ask for. These kinds of things DO have the limited capacity to take on a life all their own, as is suggested by Quantum Mechanics.
 
Now, there are those of us who believe that it is likely that the earth itself, as a planet, obtains a kind of conscious awareness as a result of the collective quantum field of all the combined awareness of the countless creatures who inhabit her ecosphere.
 
Some evidence for this may be seen in the phenomenon of the Crop Circles and their attendant ' balls of light '.
 
I have to reiterate that there is something here that truly is beyond mere line of reasoning of the human intellect- human intellect being driven by and largely limited to the double dualities of word comparisons and branching logic structures- both strongly affected by local cultural bias in the first place- specifically our developing technology. Again, not the most reliable view of reality obtainable ( though certainly not just junk, either ). For, at one time, humans knew no way of life OTHER THAN one in closeness to the experience of Nature with her literally limitless capacity for Novelty and Variety. Our sensory input was under such conditions continually bombarded with an ever changing kaleidoscope of variety and newness and wonder really, that the mind was constantly kept open, WIDE open, to the more subtle phenomenon of not just one's inner and outer world being fully integrated, but also such things as paranormal phenomenon that otherwise pass by undetected or un- appreciated by today's highly focused minds of specialized modern cultures. True, no two snowflakes are alike, but that is mass produced boredom compared to the truly endless variety observable in all of Nature.
 
In fact, there is another and unexpected level to which we may take these observations of Nature's unpredictability.
 
Is every electron identical to every other electron ? It had been almost taken for granted that that was the case, for over a hundred years now. One particle of type would be impossible to distinguish from any other in the Universe, almost by definition. NOT SO TODAY ! The last decade has seen the discovery of the phenomenon of ENTANGLEMENT- that two subatomic particles, photon pairs or electron pairs thus far, obtain a quantum link at the foundational ground of being, technically said to be Quantum Entangled, wherein THEIR PAST RELATIONSHIP TO ONE ANOTHER OBTAINS A PERMANENT AND IRREVOCABLE STATUS FUNDAMENTALLY AFFECTING THEIR FUTURE INTERACTIONS. In other words, the past history of a particle has, to some extent, a direct bearing on its current and future condition and therefore behavior. In fact, this Entangled State transcends all space and time limitations, including the direction of Time's arrow, and is opening up the possibility of instantaneous forms of communication and even of teleportation of mass through space at infinite velocity ( and I postulate even time travel ). So far as is known, this phenomenon extends only to the extent of their very next sequential interactions. However, there is growing evidence that this is hardly the beginning of the story of Particle Entanglement, let alone the end- for, this entanglement MAY BE TRANSFERABLE, expandable, manipulatable, to the extent that EVERY PARTICLE IN THIS UNIVERSE IS ULTIMATELY IN AN ENTANGLED STATE WITH EVERY OTHER PARTICLE ! This is a condition inherited from the the Origins of the Primal Fireball at the inception of the Universe at the Big Bang.
 
But there is EVEN MORE...
 
There is some reason to believe that THE VERY BASIS OF THIS UNIVERSE, ITS OWN FOUNDATIONAL PHYSICAL LAWS ARE IN THE PROCESS OF EVOLVING IN CONCERT WITH THE EVOLUTION OF HUMAN CONSCIOUSNESS AND EXPERIENCE ! That is, HUMAN AWARENESS, PERCEPTION AND INTENTION IS ACTUALLY BRINGING ABOUT FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE TO THE PHYSICAL LAWS OF THE UNIVERSE AT THE QUANTUM LEVEL, THE GROUND OF BEING.
 
AND THAT IS THE ULTIMATE REALITY !
 
The Laws of the Universe are evolving in concert with our perception of it !
 
A kind of Quantum ' Natural Selection '.
 
Of course, this may all be VERY SUBTLE, barely discernible, but nonetheless VERY REAL.
 
So, I think we can at LEAST be agreeable that the human Imagination is well beyond the Intellect, if nothing else.
 
Look at this- we have also been assuming that Quantum phenomenon apply in an obvious way ONLY TO PHENOMENA OF ULTRAMICROSCOPIC SCALE. But again, NOT SO.
 
How does the engine in your car operate- whether or not it is a diesel, a gasoline, an electric or a hybrid engine system- does it work by Quantum Principles or by strictly Linear Newtonian Principles- MACROscopically now ! Be careful how you think about this one.......this is so obvious, yet I am the only person I know to have ever suggested this ! WHY DO MOST ALL OF OUR ENERGY SYSTEMS OPERATE ACCORDING TO QUANTIZED PULSES THAT ACCUMULATE A MOMENTUM OVER TIME ? ! That momentum usually being applied ' angularly ' to increase the ' spin ' of a macroscopic ' particle ' ( though not always ) ? I can even make the argument that a jet engine, a solid fuel rocket motor, a liquid fuel rocket motor and a steam turbine, ALL operate, at least to a degree, according to quantized pulses. Here is THAT argument- sort of in reverse- first, you have to view the jet stream as a wave function that has variations in its flow that are essentially a manifestation, on a macroscopic scale, of underlying QUANTUM wave functions. It is really a no- brainer for a physicist/ mathematician type ! It is THOSE VERY PRESSURE WAVE DENSITY VARIATIONS that have to be accounted for in the design of a safe, efficient, smoothly running jet engine. Even a rocket engine can be best described as supplying A SINGLE LONG- LIVED IMPULSE. And, the blades of a turbine are actually making little quantized ' cuts ' into the jet stream, parsing or sectioning it off into many, many TURBULENT eddies, which eddies never quite perfectly recombine in the exhaust- exiting the engine as macroscopic ' wave packets '.
 
EVERYTHING IS QUANTUM !
 
And, believe it or not, that one statement sums up practically the ENTIRE PHILOSOPHY of the New Age Movement-
 
EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED-
 
ALL- IS- ONE !
 
A decidedly Buddhist concept, if I may say so.
 
And thus our discussion cycles itself back around to MEDITATION-
 
NOT AN ACCIDENT OF LOGIC !
 
Are we New Agers merely seeing what we WANT TO SEE in the Universe ?- EUREKA ! Yes, now you are truly beginning to UNDERSTAND !

As for the cult thing, basically what your saying is if someone thinks a certain way, or has certain opinions that are not like yours they are a cult. I was browsing around for definitions of this word, and here's what I came up with:

7)  Use of auto-hypnosis to induce 'peak' experiences

As far as I can recall I do not belong to any such group or organization, nor have I ever been subjected to any such techniques. If by saying that I belong to a cult you mean "I have ideas different then yours" then you might have something. That is, unless define college according to the definition above, then I would say yes I have been subjected to parts 1-6. My professors have yet to provide any 'peak' experiences though.

I don't recall calling anyone any names or insults. I thought we were discussing the issues.[] Here's was my basic point: a change in beliefs = a change in circumstance. Since it takes up the same amount of energy to think a positive thought as it would to think a negative thought, then why not try it out. Other people responded my refuting my orignal premise, often using off-the-wall statements to back up their claims (9/11=compassion for mankind, reality-manifestion = mental illness), so I responded with subtly incindiary remarks coupled with a solid foundational argument, all rythmically laced with smiley faces.

Refreshing to know that people carry such degenerate beliefs with them and are so willing to share them with others. Its like passing around the tainted cool-aid. I think one about the mentally ill cult is by far the most "interesting" one I've encountered to date. If you even try it out you, you end up with a mental illness! He even posts again how the techniques I posted "did not work". Interesting, so the finger-interlock didn't work; the vampire thought-forms with the plants didn't pan out either. Too bad, even though its strange since the vampire/plant one is my own personally developed technique. Guess blood, sweat, and tears is the best way, uh. Aaah, its refreshing that to know that some people excude such optimism, such hope, to those that need it most. God forbide we actually something positive[xx(]. As for the part about having to move farther away "to make things better". Thats very interesting, since I know one of the key features of remote influence (including psychic attack) is that distance is no barrier. Although, if the person is aware of his/her potential and how to use their mind then it doesn't matter if the attacker was 1 foot or 100,000 miles away, they wouldn't be able to perform any assault, not in the slightest way. Maybe your belief that moving away would help was the reason things got better? ([:O] uh oh, don't have an epifamy now! you might get a mental illness!) Its ok, Metal Ice. I'll help you out. Might I also suggest that you stop communicating with this alleged attacker? I typed up the word "preauratized" in google and found some more of your posts relating to these incidents. From what you said in those posts on the yahoo boards seems like this is a little than just a vampire attack. You said this individual is using you to "steal" other people's souls & has them "corded" to you. If you are actually believing and buying into these things he's saying then you are only making the situation worse. I suggest you take out some quiet time and start meditating or clearing your mind.

You might also want to start reading books that will empower your nature, like: The Power of Your Subconscious Mind by Joseph Murphy. I used this reality-creation material for so many things (car, computer, job), and I don't even have to study for tests anymore. In fact one of the classes I took over the summer I never did the work or studied for the tests and as a result was heading into the final week with a 60% average & would have to do good on the final and presentation to make up for it; so (as you probably already guessed)I just skipped the entire last week of class, blew off the final test, and never showed up for the presentation. When my report card came in I got a C+ on that class, and when I saw the professor a week later he said "hi" and waved at me. This is not the first time I just skipped final tests or presentations (almost a habit now), though usually I end up with an A in the class.[|)]

I do have some idea what might be going on in this situation. My best advice would be to build up an auric shield around you. If you are familiar with how to construct thought forms, I suggest after you build your defenses up that you send out a few vampire type ones to your attacker & keep them powered for an extended period of time (weeks, months, whatever you feel good with). If I were you I would attack that person with a consistent vigor, so they would never bother you again. I suggest you not personally take in the energy they suck from the person but redirect it to something else - like a plant - that will continually absorb it. I never heard of the term "preauratized" but by "blanketed" they probably mean they have the person engulfed some type of thought-form. Here is a simple technique for building up your aura:

Finger Interlock Technique

Step 1
Interlock gesture
Immediately upon suspecting a psychic or vampire attack (or if an
attack is already underway), join the tips of the thumb and middle
finger of each hand to form two circles. Then bring your hands
together to form interlocking circles

Enegy Protection

envision a shield of powerful energy enveloping your total aura and
effectively repelling any invasion of external forces.

Envision the inner core of your energy system, pulsating with power

In addition to preventing an imminent vampire attack or terminating
an attack twhich is already in progress, the finger Interlock
Technique instangly energized the aura and erects a protective outer
shield, which we call the halo effect. The shield typically remains
in place for several hours to effectively deflect other vampire
invasion efforts. Although it was designed to instantly repel the
onslaught of vampirism, the technique can be used to energize and
protect the aura from any negative invasion of external forces. It
can be used to induce a relaxed, tranquile state, or to promote
restful sleep. The procedure can be adapted to extinguish anxiety in
such situations as job interviews and public presentations. Students

Common and Not-So-Common Shields

The best offence is a good defense. We've all heard this cliché
associated with things like sports or martial arts, but it applies
to the world of psionics as well. The most fundamental way of
protecting oneself against the outside world is a shield. Just like
psi balls, they can be programmed to do an unlimited number of
tasks, ranging from simply stopping negative energy from entering
your body, to interpreting different types energy and responding to
each on an individual basis. The average psion doesn't have a
dictionary of hundreds of shields in their head for different
situations - we each have a small database of regularly practiced
shields that can be "tweaked" slightly to fit a given scenario. I,
myself, use roughly three different types of shields on a given day,
but also have a few advanced shields in mind "just in case".

The most common shield I use is referred to as the Bubble Shield.

Bubble Shield

Bubble Shields are easy to make and can hold up against everyday
annoyances. I primarily use them for blocking "normal" humans'
empathetic projections. Regulating how solid the shield is dictates
how much empathetic information I receive from my environment. I've
personally had trouble using them for blocking telepathic
information, but keep in mind, my telepathic experiences are very
limited. Bubble Shields are also useful against humans who
subconsciously leach energy from others. Basically, in those
situations, your shield has to only be more powerful than the
person's next to you. The "leach" will generally go for the easy
target and not even bother with you.

I use two techniques to create Bubble Shields (though sometimes I do
outlandish things just to spice it up little ). The first is a
simple visualization of a shell building from the ground to up,
around your body, and finally meeting up over your head. Eggshells
and plastic bubbles are typical visualizations.
The second generates the shield from inside the abs, and expands it
until it's around the entire body. This is useful for pushing energy
off of you, while the first might trap it inside the shield.


Unfortunately, you can't just learn the Bubble Shield and be set for
life. If you engage in any psychic combat, you'll find that your
Bubble Shield doesn't amount to crap. A focused attack can go right
through or shatter it, depending on the attackers skill and
objective. Reconstructing and maintaining it during a fight isn't
worth the effort. As mentioned above, the Bubble Shield is very
basic. It's great for everyday problems, but for more serious
events, it's wiser to make a better type of shield, than trying to
hold together a small Bubble Shield.

One shield I'd like to discuss has a specific purpose. I invented it
a year or so ago when I nearly got hit by lightning a couple times
in a row, and still use it every time there's a storm outside. It
has no formal name as far as I know, but I call it the Diffuse
Shield.

Diffuse Shield

As implied above, I use this shield for fending off lightning. It
started when I was first dabbling in energy manipulation. The first
time, I was home alone at night, and it was storming pretty heavy
out. I was playing around with psi balls and throwing them around,
when I bolt of lighting hit within 30 yards of my house. I didn't
see it directly, but everything lit up (and I mean EVERYTHING - I
was blinded for about twenty seconds), and my entire house rattled
and vibrated. I was scared senseless, of course, so I stopped
practicing psi balls until the storm was over. Thinking it could
have been a fluke, I didn't worry about it after that.

After a couple of similar experiences, I didn't take any action
until the last time (I think almost a year ago exactly). I was
outside, and it wasn't storming at all. There were clouds above, but
no rain and no lightning. I suddenly heard a "click click click"
sound and looked up. For some reason I dove into the garage (I don't
remember seeing anything), and the lightning nearly hit me again. As
before, everything shook and our house was rattling like crazy.
Being nearly hit while it wasn't even raining made me think it
wasn't just a "coincidence". I didn't know exactly how the lightning
was targeting me, but I figured that I must be giving off a
different charge (of some sort) than my surrounding environment. To
solve this, I kept my internal charge the same (whatever it was),
but made a shield to "diffuse" my charge into my environments
charge. Any energy I emitted would be the same as my environment,
but my energy would still be the same. I assume it's worked because
I've yet to have another experience like that, but I do have to
create the shield every time it starts to look like it's going to
rain. Of course, I'd rather do that than get struck by lightning, so
I don't complain .

The technique is simple and the shield can be created in about the
same amount of time as a Bubble Shield. First I create a thick
Bubble Shield (not necessarily strong, just thick). Then I push some
parts out to form a spike, and some parts in to form a spike. When
I'm finished, it's similar to a furry ball - the spikes becoming so
thin they're like fibers. It's made very "loose" and the fibers flow
around freely. (I apologize for the cheesy animation , it's much
easier to visualize than it is to draw).


I've yet to find another use for this shield other than the one
stated. It'll fall apart in an hour or so (depending how you program
it), and I can't think of any way it would be useful in a combat
situation. Nonetheless, it's served it's purpose: I've yet to be
struck . If you find yourself in a situation similar to mine, give
this shield a try.

While the Diffuse Shield is made for a very specific purpose, the
next shield I'm going to discuss can be used for a variety of
applications. It's commonly referred to as the Mirror Shield because
of its ability to bounce incoming energy in the opposite direction.

Mirror Shield

To be completely honest, I have little experience with this type of
shield. I've used it on occasion while "sparring" with people, but I
usually like creating something more complex (mainly because the
Mirror Shield is kinda boring, in my opinion ). Despite my lack of
interest, it is a popular and useful shield.

The technique is predictable given the name of the shield, but I'll
go over it to be complete. Create it as you would any other shield,
but program it to reflect incoming attacks. This can be accomplished
by a nice "mirror" visualization or a slick silver color.
There are some pitfalls to this shield that can trick-up a newbie.
The first is to make sure you create it so you can send energy out
through the shield. It's no good if you go to attack and your attack
bounces off the inside and nails yourself. Another is to make sure
you make it's on the outside of all your other shields. The reason
for this is that if you create it inside a Bubble Shield, for
example, and the attacker breaks through part of the Bubble Shield,
the energy will bounce off, and hit the Bubble Shield again on the
way out. Two hits with one stone.



Though I personally don't find this shield "fun", it is very useful.
A skilled psion can easily fend off a series of attacks with this
one shield. The next shield is another simple concept, but a little
harder to construct, in my opinion. I call it the Marshmallow
Shield, though I'm not sure if that's the formal name .

Marshmallow Shield

The Marshmallow Shield is a thick, gooey, and sticky type of shield.
Its primary purpose is to absorb attacks and hold them there for
later. It can be programmed to de-patternize the simple attack or
just spit it back out. It's hard to break because of its nature, but
at best it can slow down a skilled attack.

One downfall (for me) is that it takes some time to construct
properly. The visualization is simple, but it just requires a lot of
energy. Basically, you want to picture a thick (probably at least
one foot) wall of goo. Use semi-melted marshmallows for
visualization. If you construct it in layers (which I do sometimes,
to make it easier), you'll want to make sure the layers melt into
each other completely - they can be a pain and separate on their own
sometimes. You might want to put some Bubble Shields on the outside
and inside of it if you're making it really gooey. It should hold
it's own shape for some time, but it might require some maintenance
depending on how you make it.


As I stated above - it can take a while to make, even if you are
somewhat skilled. It's not particularly good at handling sharp
objects, but it's not meant to be used as the only line of defense.
Combine it with other defensive shields to provide better
protection. After it's made it can be repaired somewhat easily, so
you can keep it up for long periods of time.

One shield that can be combined well with the Marshmallow Shield is
the Force-Bubble Shield. It takes longer to construct, but provides
some of the best protection.

Force-Bubble Shield

In my opinion, the Force-Bubble Shield is one of the coolest out
there . Just recently I've been experimenting with Force-Bubble
Constructs, and the shield version is very useful and holds up
against a lot of force. I can be used in combat or in any situation
where you need to physically put force on an object. The downside is
that it is pretty advanced and takes a lot of time to make (in most
cases). Skill in telekinesis is useful.

The visualization is fairly simple but tedious. The one I use is to
visualize a bunch of "psi-bricks" stacking up and forming a brick
wall around myself. You'll also need some "psi-mortar" as well to
stick it all together .
Also, to incorporate the idea of force, I visualize a bunch of
arrows pointing outwards on the bricks. In physics, force is usually
shown by an arrow, so it works well for me (having a somewhat
scientific mind). Think of something that means "force" to you and
use it. The key isn't necessarily the visualization, but the
practice. This shield takes a lot of skill to construct properly.



The Force-Bubble Shield is extremely useful and powerful. While the
previous combat shields address the issue of dealing with an attack,
the last shield's purpose is to help you not get in situations where
you'll get attacked. It's known as the Cloaking Shield, or in some
cases, the "Hedge" Shield.

Cloaking Shield

I find this shield the most fun to play with. With it, you can walk
up to someone while their looking right at you and scare the crap
out of them (yes, that is fun! ). Previous experience with
telepathic suggestion will help you with this shield's properties.

To create it, you'll want to form a mental image of what you want to
project onto others. You can project yourself as "invisible" or
something static (for example, a hedge, box, etc...). Whatever you
choose, you should have a clear understanding of what the objects
energy is like. You'll want to create a shield that emits this same
type of energy. The goal isn't to physically make yourself look like
a hedge, but rather to get the attacker to glance over you.
Broadcast something like "Nothing to see here, just a hedge".

Another form of this shield would be to emit a "normal" human's
energy field. When the attacker sees you, they'll either
underestimate your ability, or ignore you completely. Obviously,
visualizations of whatever you want to become work well for forming
this shield. Remember though, you're not just creating a shield,
your clouding the mind of your opponent. This is where telepathy is
useful. Incorporate telepathic suggestion and broadcasting into the
shield. Visualize your opponent becoming confused.

This isn't an easy shield to make, but it is useful. It doesn't take
that long to make, just skill. With anything, practice makes
perfect, and this shield is fun to practice .

Conclusion

Shields are essential to psions - from newbie to advanced. One last
note: keep in mind that the two shields are better than one. Combine
shields and layer them wisely to significantly increase your
protection. Any shield can be cracked, but having backups for the
backups ensures you'll have time to react to an attack.

Hi Criminal Mind, actually I am very familiar in the works of magic, thought forms, and telepathy, I am even more experienced in the works of remote influence. The reality creation thing something I've learned through personal experience & acquired knowledge from various readings. I myself have experienced "incidents" from individuals I guess you might "psychic vampires". What I did is basically reprogrammed them so that they no longer needed, depended on, or desired to perform such acts - and now they are much more positive people to be around. I have also had various other experiences, including : OOBE's, telepathy, precognition, etc (not to mention various experiences with thought form constructs). When I say we control our own reality I also say that from experience, as I came to that conclusion before I even knew books existed about the subject.

That is very true, Celeste. I myself have been somewhat slow to realize the links between political events and personal consciousness, but have come increasingly proficient at it lately. Thats why in my reality, all those things you talked about: police state USA, using Islam as scapegoat, nazi-lite america, etc.; are being scaled back in my reality. If I truely believed in those things then I would probably be reaping the benefits of my beliefs - in a detention center somewhere. I have never seen a transformation in someone so complete and fast as Celeste did. She got like *snap* THAT![|)]
As for you Syke, I have to laugh at the idea of you proving me wrong. As for the 9/11 thing, why don't you try picturing and focusing on a plane crashing when your on it, go for a flight somewhere, and find out if I was right (no please don't actually do that - I am ready know I'm right). I apologize if I sound rude or anything like that, its just that I've never met people as mentally undeveloped before - so its kind of like a new experience for me[]

What I do is complete wholesale disregard for humanity & human rights in the name of the "War on Terror", I also the scapegoating of an entire religion (Islam), the brutal occupation of two countries so far that were not involved in the events of 9/11, and a slow transformation of the American government into suttle yet deadly "Nazi-lite" form.
Further to link a mass murder such as 9/11 as serving some higher purpose of bringing love or transformation is utterly replusive and offense to those killed. Under this logic, why don't we all start killing innocent people to uplift humanity, maybe the more people that die the further we will be uplifted!? I think Hitler (and now GWB) operated under that same logic.

Interesting, but it doesn't really matter how another entity or person views you. Think about it. Why would you even waste your energy considering how another entity would view you in their reality, unless they are a loved one and you want to view things from their perspective. That is an utterly dispowering belief, that leaves the individual almost completely devoid of any power or control over their own reality. My guess is anyone with such a belief structure would develop some type of serious personality defect or illness. To believe something like that would be to make yourself a prisoner in your own skull. If you really think your personality depends on how other people view you then, maybe since you accepted that belief structure it would apply to you - but it is by no means a natural law or principle. It is a door that swings both ways, in a way you are as much a reflection of the people around you as they are a reflection of your inner states. Its a mutual attraction. Each and every human being creates and shapes their own reality, we just happen to have many similar states of consciousness - thats why they call it a mass consciousness. In regard to 9/11, as shocking as it is, none dies that has not already accepted it. Sadly those individuals probably attracted that circumstance by assorbing the negative hype & threats coming from mass media sources and from fear - and a lack of understanding how habitual or strongly held thoughts affect reality - brought that circumstance into their own personal being.

Think of it this way. Just picture that the entire universe as you understand it is a huge hologram, and this hologram is programmed to display whatever you, the individual hold or assume to be true. Now this hologram appears real in every sense of the word, you can breathe the air, you can eat the fried dough at the fair, you can even communicate telepathically with other persons. Now if you believe that someone or something in this universe ALSO has the same abilities to alter, shape, and affect the reality YOU experience, then guess what - according to belief it is done, and so it will appear to be in every concievable way that this is so. The more you belief something to be true, the more it will appear to be true in the world around you. I'm not saying noone else exists in your reality, just that everyone that appears in your reality is a reflection of the inner states, beliefs, and frames of mind you carry.
I'm just saying, if you set it firm in your mind that some evil spirit or entity or rogue psychic is out somewhere waiting to terrorize you, then don't be suprised when it actually happens... you basically manifested it into being.
