Quote "no_leaf_clover : Do you guys look anything like the 'reptilian' side of this bust thingy? http://www.coasttocoastam.com/gen/page338.html
R: yes, the skin has a certain resemblence
F: but not the other parts ?
R: no"

I guess the question was already answered.  Then a another question would be is there any picture out there that is reasonably accurate of the facial and body structure of the reptiles (including the different subspecies within their race)?

My next question would be, are the reptiles influencing the evolution of the indigo children here on Earth, have they in the past, will they continue to in the future and what manner of influence do they exert (if any) over this phenomenom.

Thank you for answering my questions (ahead of time).

Interesting, I wonder how accurate it is?

If one is too believe in a yin/yang version of the universe then by all means Satan is God's equal and complete counterpart. I don't think that Satan is less powerfull than God because God would've gotten rid of such a vile and dangerous enemy a LONG time ago, if he was more powerful.

But then again, that presumes that I believe in either, and the jury is still out on that.  Gotta run, plumbing emergency!
#29

Why wouldn't they?  It was just a question.  Unless there are some strains of Reptillian that have crossed over with Zeta's whose to know otherwise?

Are Reptillians concerned with monetary issues on this planet?  Not the dollar per say, but in general, is trading goods and commerce one of their fortays?
#30
I wonder if it would be easy for a Zeta to confuse someone into thinking they were being contacted by a Rep?

#31
Hmmm... okay.  Well instead of just 'only' giving me the "official" answer, how about some personal answers from some Rosicrucians visiting here or that are members?  I am reading the literature.  But a philosophy or spirituality is truly alive in the viewpoints and expressions of it's practioners/followers.  So in from your personal viewpoint, how would you go about answering these questions?  Any takers...?
#32
I have put this into a different 'stand-alone' topic all by itself.
#33

I have some questions...

.a)- Is it safe to say that both factions have human representatives or co-horts on this planet?

.b)- When was the first real interaction between a member of our race and yours?

.c)- Which of the skills/trades/guilds, etc... does your race have an affinity for?

  -Healing & Spiritual Matters
-Warcraft & Matters of Statesmanship or Governance
  -Finance & Trade
  -Craftsmanship & the Arts
-Horticulture & Agri/Aqua-culture (skills of the land and sea)

-and does your race if it does have an affinity for any of these mentioned, does your race look out for great natural Human talents in these or the one choosen field of expertise?  I say this since even though any space-faring race would be reasonably skilled in all areas to a suffiency that would probably amaze myself, I've noticed that certain groups do 'certain things' better than others.  And I was wondering if there was an activity or trade or specific skill the reptiles had a particular affinity for.

I hope these questions are recieved in a positive manner as they are posted in a genuine and curious manner from myself.

Thanks man, sincere responses are GREATLY appreciated...[;)]

While I still believe that there is such a thing as 'evil' I too think that this theory of Lucifer being an equal brother with Jesus, each doing their spiritual/astral duty and being just different sides of the same coin... I like that theory but I don't know if there is anything outside of what Sylvia Brown says that supports it?  I'd really like the link (if you have it and have the time to post it here, that would be wonderful) to that bit of Sylvia Brown knowledge and then I would do a search of my own for more supporting documentation.  Thanks for the new approach to this topic... it is much appreciated!

Cool with me...great minds sometimes think alike.  I say 'sometimes' since no-one should think alike all the time, not even clones, lol!
#37

That could actually be an 'advantage' to them since so many A.P.'ers have told me that you have to be careful not to let your eyes fool or decieve you in the Astral world when you first start.  That would be one less problem facing new Astral Projector's who don't have sight and haven't since birth.
#38

It would be interesting to find out whether or not the gentleman had been blind since birth.  In fact I'm going to differentiate between those who were born with a sense and lost it later and those who never had it or never had it to any great degree.  Like being born partially blind or deaf... I wonder if that changes the answers, probably will.
#39

Anyways, it was a cool story.  But isn't there areas of the astral where your deepest fears, your 'real' beliefs, your virtues and prejudices play out like you're on a holodeck?  As in, if you're Christian, you see Mary, J.C. and G-to-the-D there?  If you're Muslim you see Allah and the mighty virgins...(wonder how they got there, were they too ugly to live and someone killed them?), if you're New Age you see...you get my drift.  Anyways, I was wondering if there is a place where all your inner thoughts and beliefs get played out.  Is this a general locale that's common to all astral travels?
#40

And may "G-to-the-D" bless us all...

I do believe that an "evolutionary" world exists on this planet. I do believe that species evolve to survive and adapt to changes in their ecosystem. And I believe we're no different. But then, why haven't they found a missing link yet? Is it because we only got the answer to our question "partially right"? I'm just as inclined to believe that Jesus was an alien as I am to believe we came from apes...

quote:

If you believe the book then technically humans are aliens, as it states our ancestors are from another planet so we are not native to Earth. Which would also explain why we cannot find a missing link, because it would be on another planet which is now uninhabitable.
My memory is a little fuzzy on this part so correct me if I am wrong. In the book I believe it says that Jesus was human, but he had a Thiaooubian "soul". He was Thiaooubian but died as one and reincarnated as an Earthling.

The misconception with the theory of evolution is that people seem to think that Humans are the highest form and everything is to evolve to humans. This is just not correct. Things evolve to adapt and change to be most effiecent for them in their invironment. Bacteria will probably always be bacteria like. They have a system that works best for them. But they will change and they do. Just look at the new diseases that we see pop up every now and then such as new flu strains and SARS.

I didn't say that Humans were the highest form of evolution and I don't think it's wise to generalize on a group of people responding to you when there could just as easily be 100,000 different variations on the same viewpoint as there was respondants.  Now that being said, if you know that things evolve to adapt and change to be the most effecient form of life that they can possibly be within the environment they exist in... what's to stop an organism, sentient or otherwise from evolving the means to leave it's environment when it needs to or chooses to?  What's to say we DIDN"T come from the stars?  I don't know where we came from, but I do know this, I know enough to be able to confidentally say I DON"T know where we came from and neither do you.  Untill we find some great evidence that proves one way or another what the origins of the human species are it's foolhardy to rule out any reasonably thought-out theorem either.

quote:
Nothing is free.
Your physical body is. The air we breathe is at the moment. The ability of the atmosphre to generate rain is free.....

I am not talking about money. Everything comes from some where. My physical body comes from the labors of my parents. [;)] Then the food they ate, the air they breathed, etc. Now it still is costing me, as I still must eat and breathe, etc. The air is not free. The plants must make the air. They had to work. I breathe the air and make carbon dioxide for the planets. We both do our part. Everything we use and need comes from somewhere and is not free. It is all part of the system which has developed.

On this it seems that we agree.

Zaicer... thanks for the compliment.

Now, I want to read that book again, both of the free books again that I recieved from the Thiaoouba site.  Now while I don't completely agree with them, I don't completely disagree with them either and I would have to say that I may be unqualified to really sit a critique the two works I read.  But I'll give it my infantry best... here goes the first of many congratulatory and critical remarks...

#1.)- Jesus being an alien is as possible as the other 'bunk' being fed to us by "propaganda-central".  I don't know if I believe it, but Darwin keeps looking more and more unnatractive.

#2.)- Philisophically, it's a strong piece of work.  Yes, it points out the painfully obvious.  But it's probably only painfully obvious to us, and people like us.  If it were painfully obvious to the world, yes, it would change, maybe only slightly, but it WOULD change.

I'll read some more and comment further at a later date.

Great post James, I think this should put the whole subject to a better light for folks who don't know (newbies), and for folks who should know better (usually christian or 'other' fundamentalists).  Thanks James!

You know what, it sounds funky but I did get the free e-books and I will give them an honest chance and read the book before I pass further judgement. Did this theory of his (the frenchman,Dr Tom Chalko)come from some other source, did it originate elsewhere or did it entirely come from him?

So, in the spirit of openess, what did you find usefull about his message?

Sorry to hear about that, I'll say some prayers for her.  Please keep us updated on her condition.

Now while I don't remember the character's name, the character on the series 'V' played by Michael Ironside, subsequently I enjoyed his characters... the captain on SeaQuest DSV (GREAT Series!!!), and his roles as the bad guy in the second Highlander film and the Arnold S. film Total Recall (also a great book).  I did enjoy that 'V' series...imagine, traveling millions of light years for fine dining!!!  My kind of aliens!  LOL!

Unfortunately for me I could never 'opt' to take a drug-induced O.B.E. or A.P.. It would taint the results to my waking rational mind and it is as I see it, training wheels for the uninitiated to this way of life.  Fine if you use them, but once you can O.B.E. and A.P. without them I'd strongly suggest you throw the drug induced 'incidents' away, put the practice behind you and go forward.

Part of the reason I research and practice this lifestyle of O.B.E'ing and A.P.'ing is that I am in search of the truth of life and the life beyond.  I believe that while I am here part of my duty is to prepare for the greater life that lies beyond without loosing site of the great or not-so-great life (as it sometimes is...) that I have in front of me NOW.

It is fun to fly Astrally, but to do so only for viceral joy and feedback is shortsighted and loosing the point of A.P.'ing and O.B.E.'ing entirely. A gift of that power and scope is for more than sheer joy.  It is also for exploration and examination.  Joy, fun, they're all good, but not ALL that your motives should be.

Crazy, I missed this topic but was thinking of posting one about it (the Kabbalah) yesterday. In the last few days I've been reading up on it by some whim.

Anyway, needless to say that article is crap.

quote:
not to mention the fact that Kabbalistic theosophists such as Madame Helena Blavatsky and the theosophical circles of Germany eventually spawned the Nazi Party, which produced the Holocaust

Hello Blavatsky wasn't a Kabalist at all but an Eastern Theosophist. She drew similarities and references to the Kabbalah in certain places, which isn't surprising seeing as how it's doctrine holds many similarities with the Vedanta and the other esoteric systems of thought. And where the hell is there anything saying that her systems influenced Hitler? Wasn't Hitler a Christian?

quote:
Rabbinical courts moved to make it unlawful for anyone under the age of forty to study Kabbalah. The reason being that if one has first lived forty years and been raised and trained in, and has studied Judaism, then perhaps his Judaism would be strong enough to dominate what he finds in the Kabbalah, rather than have the Kabbalah shape his Judaism.

That's incomplete and untrue,
quote:
This prohibition has come from Ashkenazic (East European) Jews and has never applied to Sepharidic (Middle Eastern) Jews. The historical basis for the "rule" comes from opponents of Kabbalah within Judaism who (successfully) attempted to restrict its study. At the root of this was the heresy of false messiah Shabbatai Tzevi (17th. C) which resulted in large numbers of Jews leaving the orthodox fold. This heresy had deep Kabbalistic underpinnings, and in the attempt to stamp out Shabbateanism, Kabbalah itself became suspect, and specific prohibitions against the study of Kabbalah were enacted (e.g. the excommunication of the Frankists in Poland in 1756).

A further factor was the degeneration (in the eyes of their rationalist opponents) of 18th. century Hasidism, which had roots both in Kabbalah and Shabbateanism, into "wonder working" and superstition. The rationalist faction in Judaism triumphed, and the study of Kabbalah became largely discredited, to the extent that many Jewish publications written earlier in this century discuss Kabbalah (if at all) in a very negative way.

from http://www.digital-brilliance.com/kab/faq.htm

The writer conveniently forgets the fact that a good portion of unkabbalistic Judaism was borrowed and/or copied.

I can't comment about the rest, but think of it this way Tab... if I give you a book that shows you the 'hidden-tricks' of making straight-A's in college, I've influenced you. (in a positive way...)

If I help a friend of yours out, but not you, I've influenced you still.  That is, at least I've influenced your opinion of me... (there is a 'neutral' effect going on here now)

And if I go even further and threaten to beat your friend to submission every day untill he gives you that book... I've influenced you further.  (albeit, in a negative way)

Either way, I've influenced you for sure and for good.  No disputing it.  Also, my 'modes of influencing' you no matter how positive, neutral, or negative they were, still did not outwardly affect the book I was using. It was still a book, neither bad nor good.

Where I'm going with this, is that the Kabbalah may have influenced Hitler, but in doing so neither did it make the Kabbalah any worse or Hitler any better.  It was a cause and effect situation minus the morality.

There, I hope I've explained myself.
