Perhaps calling for this being with-out establishing true identity could be unwise?

I suggest calling for your personal spirit guide. You might like to add a seal of authority to that request. If you yourself answer to Christ, then you could say "In the name of Christ. I would see my personal guide appear before me".

When a being appears before you, it is your right to ask them who they answer to, they must answer you truthfully by the third time you ask. This also applies to their name.

If a being does not follow these rules, then they are probably not your guide.

I'm excited at the prospect of exploring this system. I plan on keeping a detailed journal of my adventures.

All is God playing out her/his desires and fantasies. To condemn one aspect's actions is to condemn ones self. To embrace all aspects is to become Whole again.

My understanding is, it's a non-physical learning system designed to greatly help a "human experiencing" soul consciously evolve. It doesn't appear to be the only non-physical learning system, however it may be the most advanced.

Having the experience, then reading about it, was quite convincing.

I think all astral adventurers sooner or later encounter something that will induce great fear. Allow yourself to feel this fear, it's natural. Examine why you are fearful. Embrace that which you fear with love. Realise all that you see are the many forms of God. See God in everything and you will find it very hard to fear or hate them. This is what love is, not some forced concept to fire at a being offensively.

The key is not to let that fear dwell in you for too long. Examine, embrace, release.

This has probably been said before. I think you will have nodoubt that you've had an OBE when you experience it. It is a very unique feeling.
