I love music, a lot of underground electronic music, a lot of it is amazingly good if you look hard enough, like classical music was with its soulfulness, melodies, and originality. I also love bands like the Pixies, Pink floyd, and reggae - Bob Marely.....
Favourite writer at the mo' Carlos Castaneda. Also like Jaque Keroac.
Love movies, anything considered cult mostly, David Lynch, older Paul Jackson stuff, and Quentin Tarantino etc.
Also love art, Salvador Dali, also Alex Grey and Picasso.

Welcome to Magic! / Old Saints Day
November 01, 2003, 08:53:05
All saints day was once a pagan celebration, Halloween is an old word turned into an english word. It originally meant eve of ghosts, I dont know the literal translation because my irish (gaelic) isn't up to scratch. Oiche is gaelic for night or eve pronounced eeha.
All Saints day is the day after halloween.
In the old days halloween was the time when the living and the dead where in the same world and it was a time to honour the dead.
When the christian church came to Ireland and great Britian the church in Ireland did their best to turn all the pagan celebrations into their own by giving the days names of saints or turning the name of the deity being celebrated into a saint. Brigid the godess in celtic pagan terms was celebrated on 1st feb. It is now st brigids day. There are numerous other examples of this all over the world as you are probably well aware.
I hope this helps, basically the church all that time ago just wanted to make the celebration a christian one so they had all saints day. In ireland we call it all souls day, this name is much more appropriate to people, even though they have forgotten why.
