A friend pushed me once to have a look at Sukyo Mahikari... since they offer free healing to visitors. While, theoretically it's all "free" and nice, I did not like a few things like: worship "god of money" to which you give your donations (I had 5 members come over and "heavily" suggest me to donate)... I especially did not like the fact that, with your donation, you have to put your name down... Why would they want to track names and amounts of $$$?!?!? Sounded fishy to me... so never came back.  Many members felt empty of emotions; and the ones smiling had weird/scary smiles...

Maybe I just had bad luck...  just try for yourself...

You could try to use the other senses, like touching things or listening...

But, it's not exactly about saying commands like "Awareness now!" or "Now I see!"; it's more about willing it.  You must intent it without a doubt.  You don't even need to phrase it; you know what you want.  Just will it.

I know that it is easier said than done but, as a famous shoe brand says: "Just do it!"

Are aliens already here?   Maybe, maybe not...

But please, enough of these small aliens with huge eyes, flying around in ridiculous rotating flying saucer spaceships with shiny flashing lights and funny sounds...

That's just human limited/materialistic view of what aliens "must" be.

Are you sure it's not just a temporary bug...?
How long (how many times) did you try Firefox and got this error...?
Anyway, it looks more like a temporary server-side error.
Or do you use any resident program that is supposed to filter web access; like ad-watch, or a popup-blocking, etc...?

I could relate a little bit to your situation, and my mother even more.
She is way too nice with people.  I could almost say 90% of her friends tried at least once to abuse/trick her...  It's being human I guess.  But, in her case, she almost seems to be looking for it.  She seems to "enjoy" complaining about people abusing of her or playing tricks on her.

Personally, my "problem" is that I don't give warnings.  I let people do whatever they do, until they go too far.  At that point, I stop seeing them.  Sometimes it's like a game; I kind of enjoy seeing how far some people feel they can go.  Sadly, a lot of them went too far.

I want to find real friends, that I can blindly trust.  I don't want pseudo-friends that I have to constantly monitor...  Sadly, even nice people will feel the surge to abuse of things/people if they are/feel "allowed" to.

A little out of topic but it reminds me of this little story:

QuoteTwo Monks and the River

It was early morning, and the two monks set out on their last day's journey back to their monastery.

At mid-morning they came upon a shallow river, and on the bank there stood a beautiful young maiden in a lovely silk kimono.

"May I help you cross?" asked the first Monk. "That way your garment won't get soiled."

"Why, yes, that would be most kind of you," replied the maiden, bowing politely.

So the first Monk hoisted the maiden on his back and carried her across the river. Once across, they bowed and went their separate ways.

A few minutes later, after the maiden was out of earshot, the second Monk said to the first Monk, "I can't believe you did that! I just can't believe it! We take vows of chastity, and you touched a woman. You even asked her! I know that touching a woman doesn't break our vow, but what's the Abbot to think? This is awful."

Several hours passed and the second Monk erupted again. "How could you do that? She didn't even ask. You offered! What are we going to tell the Abbot when we get home? He's going to ask how our journey was, and we can't lie. What are we going to say?"

By late afternoon the two were nearing their monastery, and the second Monk, now filled with anxiety, said, "I can't believe you did that! You touched a woman. You even carried her on your back. We must think of something to tell the Abbot. He's going to be so angry we'll be working in the onion garden for the rest of our lives."

The first Monk stopped, looked at the second Monk and said, " Listen, it's true that I carried that maiden across the river. But I left her at the river bank hours ago. You've been carrying her all day."

What is so wrong about polygamy...?

Not sure what you're looking for but, what I get from this girl picture is a mix of feelings...  It feels like as if she is smiling/sad/naughty/scared all at the same time...

Personally,

I usually "wrestle" (like wrestling for "fun" with friends) with them until they lose their strength, or/and until I wake up.

Except once, I reacted differently:
QuoteAnother time, again one guy was tinkling me off in a dream. I switched to the lying in bed with blob wrestling thing but, as I was not fully conscious and still ticked off, I suddenly decided to absorb the blob to "teach him a lesson"... Immediately, the blob kind of exploded a little and then imploded back and I sucked it with my hands/arms... As soon as I finished it, my body or bed "rocketed" through the window at a very high speed for about 5s and then I woke up... I just hope my stupid idea won't have much negative consequences...

Maybe it's the cleansing effect that helps...
Also, not having to digest frees up your energy for a "better" use.

QuoteFrogs open door to icy mystery
Amphibians' Lazarus act may aid organ transplants
By David A. Fahrenthold

WASHINGTON - This is the way a wood frog freezes:

First, as the temperature drops below 32 degrees, ice crystals start to form just beneath the frog's skin. The normally pliant and slimy amphibian becomes — for lack of a better word — slushy.

Then, if the mercury continues to fall, ice races inward through the frog's arteries and veins. Its heart and brain stop working, and its eyes freeze to a ghostly white.

"Imagine an ice cube. Paint it green," and you've got the wood frog in winter, said Ken Storey, a professor at Carleton University in Ontario. The frog is solid to the touch and makes a mini-thud when dropped.

Lazarus reborn
But it is not dead. When a thaw comes, the frog is able to melt back into its normal state over a period of several hours, restart its heart and hop away, unscathed.

This amazing process of reanimation — repeated every winter in the woods of Maryland, Virginia and the District — is being examined by scientists hoping to learn the secrets of the frog and other animals that freeze solid.

Wasn't some kind of "confirmation" like:
I saw you there, next to this, doing this...
Yes, we were there...
?
Otherwise, I think that's the only one I can remember of...

QuoteIf one of you channeled an angel or a guide right now or whatever, there would be absolutely no way to prove that the guide really exists as an external being.
Really?  Based on what?
QuoteAnyone care to convince me otherwise?
I love this one!  Just sit and let the others do the work...
Personally, I don't care to convince you...  :P
QuoteAll things can be proved, and they can be proved to everyone, unless of course they do not exist.
Where did you read that...?  Care to prove that all things can be proved?
There are SO MANY THINGS that scientists did observe but cannot understand/explain/prove/etc (yet)...  Maybe one day they will be able; maybe not.

Why would someone/something waste its time/energy for you?
Maybe they have more important things to do...
Maybe you were just dreaming...

Check that you plugged the jack in the correct hole (maybe you plugged it in the mic instead).
Double-click on the speaker icon in your task-bar and check that nothing is muted or too low...

Remember that the goal is to "go up".  The way to achieve it is not that important.  With the rope technique, you should focus on the raising sensation, and not on the details like arm movements, etc...  Just repeat over and over this raising sensation.  It's not the movement itself, it's the sensation that counts.  Also, my feet always go up first and the rest of the body follows.  Sometimes I am stuck at the head and I have to force a bit.

An alternative is to roll (not physically) on your side.  I've projected several times this way.  In fact, some kind of wind would often blow me out of my body from the side.

Some people reported that they projected by falling through their bed.

Another technique is to "visualize" yourself already out.  Visualize a copy of your body floating 2 meters above you.  Then try again and again to "shift yourself" (perspective/consciousness/...) in this floating body.  You are this second body.  You can see the ceiling from it; you can touch it.

Rinse and repeat...  Just remember that it takes some work and effort.

You should prepare yourself while you're awake.  Are you generally easily scared?  Are you emotive?  What was so scary?

Other tricks to prevent waking up is to use your senses in the dream; touch objects, breath deeply, etc...  You can try to spin on yourself too.

I read quite a few different descriptions... which one is correct?
Is it really a "place"?  Some people say it's a state of mind...
