I find this works, you may have to do it several times, and you may find the thing you mentioned, goes mental !, that's because this will work. It will try to fight, but you must not let it win, remember that it is working.
I have also asked the Sacred Heart for help, in the past, and he always helps. I do this as a last resort, if it gets heavy.
I've had  similar experiences.
BTW I don't want to walk on anyones toes, so Mohammed (PBUH), Budda, Whoever, ask any of them.. There's plenty of help out there!, but one must ask.

My own experience with the LBRP, is that it did not take a year to get fantastic results, just a few weeks was all, but I did put the work in so to speak.
The feeling of incerdible spiritual protection (ISP ?) has to be felt to be believed.

If you think what I said, makes sence, take it.    
As regards suggesting yourself into OBE, it sounds like you are dragging your poor inner self into it !
I get the feeling you may be aprehensive, so, your going to beat yourself into it, with suggestions.
I think you have a choice to make, to be or not to be that is the whatsit.
But to help you make that choice, you should work on the safety aspect (assuming you choose to Astral travel).

1 Touch your forehead and say ATOR, ( Thou Art )
2 Touch your naval, and say MALKUTH, ( The Kingdom )

As far as I remember, (this might be c**p), but Lu is the higher self, while Satan is his lower self.
It's good to fear, but not be afraid, so to speak (dichotomy.. he he I love that word).
People don't realize that they have a choice. For instance, if he was face to face with a person, they would be so terrified, they would not realize they have the choise, and can say No.
Assuming he's real that is.

As far as I am aware there are not very many references to Him, but on a practical note, if there are people on earth, who do what we call, evil things, then why shouldn't there be spirits, who desire the power, and energy, that comes from negativity.
It could be imagination, but I think that our feelings never lie, so how would you feel, about praying to him, and inviting him into your life, assuming he is just a figment of peoples imagination, this would be no prob. My feelings say NO ! You may say this is just fear, maybe?

Can I suggest you don't say that... 'when it comes to concious-exit OBE's I'm a bit slow'.
Remember you get what you wish for. And just to label the point, how will your body interpret this comment. Only one way, a bit slow, hence a year !
If you catch yourself saying it again, just say thats ok if I said that but I am going to exit, at a pace that suits me, easily, and safely. Also, ' I am going to be calm, and love the experience, next time'. Repeat this often, in order to change your beliefs.
When you say this, you are not only saying it with your physical body, but also with your Etheric, casual, astral, and mental bodies.
Try to say them out loud, as sound adds force, and power, to thought.
Thought creats, at one level, and sound, creats, at another, actions, create, at yet another level. Hence - Thought, Word, and Deed.

Ophiel in his book, The Art and practice of Astral projection, mentions about these, strange noises, bangs, people calling out you name, even explosions. He says, he once awoke, thinking... ' oh my God, the water heater has exploded !
These are, a great sign in your work. They will happen again, but each time not so loud, until there is just a backgroung hiss.

I'm trying the body of light method, just started, hope i don't get bored, and try something else. I'm also trying to send my body to sleep, and keep my mind awake.
I really don't like it all being too complicated.
I think if instructions are given to people, that are complicated, what else are they going to think, but this is really complicated, therefore difficult to do. It's not. It's easy.
I think for what it's worth, making A.P. into an avanced science,
puts it out of reach for alot of people, and firmly in the hands of the 'Scientists'.

I remember a technique, I think is more used in witchcraft. You use a black mirror. The mirror should be circular, and have a frame in the shape of a triangle.
Using a circular piece of glass, from the glass shop, make sure they polish the edges first, and spray paint it black. Then just frame it witha triange frame ! easy. You look into the glass to the black background, giving a shadowy, see through image of yourself, which is similar to the image of etheric and other bodies. The symbloism would be fire and air, which would make sence.
Makes a nice ornament too. Especially if the edges of the mirror, are bevelled.

What technique/s are you trying Fender1499? or are you still using NEW, sounds like you're having a bit of success.

Thats why we are here. When we go back, we will realy be in awe of the other world, because we have had so much lack here.
Lucifer, the word, comes from the latin lux, luxis, and  fero, means to bring, so both luxis and fero, become Lucifer, which means bringer of light. Also lux is the Latin stem for lucid. Lumen is also in the same group, hence luminous, again luminiferous- producing light.

I didn't know that alot of chakras were located along the spine, so I'd say your spot on there.
I was hoping someone might tell me it's a good sign! I got the feeling again, and it could best be described as a tickling sensation.

Thats the great thing about God's universe, you have total free will to believe whatever you want !
Can I just say on your point about who created the Creator ect.
I had a real hang up about this, until it was explained to me that, there are three beings, which are of course one, and if you think about this concept as a triangle, which has no end or beginning.
The Triangle is eternal.
That sorted me out, but I try not to think about it too often !

I don't think I am explaining myself very well. We are surrounded by symbols. Everywhere you look, there are symbols. Why?. Is a symbol not connected to the real thing?, to the thing it represents?.
Like the Cross for example, or Budda, ect. Or the Tarot cards.
These are symbols, are they not connected to the things they represent ?.
So having a symbol, or wearing a symbol, like the cross, or a sacred symbol, has no effect, because there is no connection, am I reading you right?
If there is a connection, simply by focusing on this symbol, magnetizes it into your life.

I have some experience of the middle piller, even though it is good, I am scared to do it, because of the power, it's just out there!
But one thing I was told is, that the middle piller brings energy into a person, I think from your higher self.
But this energy is not good or bad, it is just energy, and may attract beings looking for energy. These are more lightly to be negative beings, so watch out. In fact, without protection, I would go as far as saying the exercise of the middle piller is very dangerous.
I find the LRBP offers very powerful spiritual protection, but takes about three to four weeks to become powerful enough.
I find the effect of LRBP hard to describe, but wanted to get out of my car, run up and down the street, and then get back into my car !
The energy, and purity, is very special.
Visualising the various parts of the ritual, are very important, esp. the pentacles. It 's hard at the start, but the visualisation builds, and gets easier.

I'd like ( if I may )to take you on a strange journey. ahh no thats a quote from rocky horrror picture show, but I read a little story once told by a very wise man. The story is called
The little Soul, and the Sun.
There once was a Soul, who knew itself to be the light.
This was a new Soul, and so, anxious for experience.

Yet all the knowing of it and all the saying of it could not substitute for the experience of it. And in the realm from which this Soul emerged, there was nothing BUT the the light.
Every Soul was grand, every Soul was magnificent, and every Soul shone with the brilliance of God's awesome light. And so the little Soul in question was as a candle in the sun. In the midst of the grandest light - of which it was a part - it could not see itself, nor experience itself, as Who and what it really is.
It came to pass that this Soul yearned and yearned to know itself. And so great was it's yearning that God one day said, "Do you know, little One, what you must do to satisfy this yearning of yours?"
"Oh, what, God? What? I'll do ANYTHING!" The little soul said.

"You must separate yourself from the rest of us," God answered, "and then you must call upon yourself the darkness."

Therefore, be a light unto the darkness, and curse it not.

It seems to be getting stronger, so it probably is energy centers loosening up. It's not a bad feeling, just like I've been taking too many sleeping pills.
