Thanks for the information :)  I recently lost a pet and I've always believed in life after death for humans but never put too much into with animals. I had cece for 14 years and she recently died of cancer I was just hoping that her spirit still lives on. :) I know they say all dogs go to heaven but I don't know for sure. lol Thanks again all.

Hello :) I haven't projected yet but found myself 2 nights ago in my most relaxed state my hands and fingers were heavy and numb at the tips not sure if that will lead later to vibrations?! Anyways I have been reading alot of yall's stories and I noticed that some of you may see passed on relatives during astral has anyone seen dead pets or had communication with them? Or if you OBE in your house do your pets pick up on it?
Everyday I read on here I think of more and more questions. This is truly intriguing stuff. :) Thanks in advance for answers!  :-D

Hi and welcome :) I am new here myself. Your story is very interesting. I have woken up paralyzed like that a couple of times but I freaked out both times.  Kudos for not freaking out!

Wow! Thanks so much for all the information and the warm welcome! :)  I am like ridiculously excited to learn about all this and to experiment. The funny thing is I am not afraid at all of what will happen once your in the "astral" but I am more leary of the feeling of leaving your body I'm afraid I may allow a mental block to let me really do this. I'm sure the more I read and the more comfortable I get with the this all I will be projecting/lucid dreaming in no time :) Another question how often do you all choose to project? What's common for you?

Hello, I found these boards searching the other day on google for astral projection and I have been on this site like every free chance I could reading the stories of others. I have always been very into and interested in paranormal anything including obe's and now astral projection. Usually I don't have many people to talk to about these kinds of things because so many people I know are closed off to this type of thing and think its "bad". I clearly don't agree. I am so blessed to have found this site to share and gather information. Initially I was searching for information on how to have lucid dreams in an attempt to control my dreams and then somehow I ended up reading for hours upon hours on astral projection.

I took a Parapsychology class at my local college a few years ago (luckily I got in on the first class they only offered it for 4 semesters and only 4 schools in the world at the time) which was the best class I have ever had at any educational level. We touched on all sorts of topics including OBE's/Astral projection and lucid dreaming of course. I at the time couldn't really remember my dreams to well and our professor said to us that if we can't remember our dreams and want better dream clarity if I said it enough nights before I go to sleep to remember them then I would.   I took that suggestion and for years have been remembering most of my dreams some of them are way more vivid than others. I had a dream last week that felt extremely real. So real I woke up and was  emotionally attached to what was happening in the dream and thought about it all day.  This happens fairly often. Sometimes it could be the reverse though where I'll only remember in the morning time and by the end of the day the dream is a distant blurred memory. That sparked my interest again in lucid dreaming when I was searching about lucid dreaming I came across sleep paralysis some how which interested me greatly because I have 2 very distinct memories of waking up completely paralyzed( i have never freaked out so much in my life those seconds felt like hours) I saw that there may be a link to obe's and astral projection and hence my very renewed interest in all this.

I have some questions that may seem silly but I am so new to this that I have to ask :)

first How do you always get back into your body? is there a chance you will not return to your body?
If I was astral projecting and someone attempted to wake me up would I wake up?
I've read some where that random twitches and jerks in your legs arms etc right before sleep may be an indication that my body is really relaxed and that may indicate a good time to really try?

any help and information anyone is willing to give me would be so great. I am happy to have found a community of people who are filled with knowledge and from what I see have been very welcoming to others
