You have to remember that Jesus taught how to walk the path towards God, towards the Absolute which is the path towards total liberation, this is the straight and narrow path that leads us towards everlasting life, the path of the razors edge.

There could be many reasons for why that has happened, although at the base of it all.. our highly developed ignorance about anything spiritual is a great clue.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Re: How DO you meditate?
January 30, 2010, 22:56:08
First take a couple of deep breaths, find yourself something that you admire.. maybe a photo of a God or maybe even some object like a seed or piece of wood or something you have some interest in. Just concentrate on the object with your eyes open for a number of minutes, this may be a struggle as your mind will want to wander, make sure you dont let yourself fall into the trap and wander off completely, when you see it happen notice it let it pass away then continue concentrating on the object.

It is important also to relax your physical body, you do not want to constantly have to adjust yourself or be thinking about it, it will just serve as a distraction and you will not get far.

Start there first, this is a crucial step.. you cannot skip this step and think that you will hit deeper stages of meditation, the deeper stages of meditation will not be reached by skipping the initial steps, this technique will strengthen your concentration and also give you some knowledge about how your mind works, its thought pattern, habits, content and other behaviours. You need this knowledge to progress further and you also need the developed concentration or else you will not get anywhere in meditation. Some people will stay stuck meditating for years without reaching any deeper stages because they keep skipping or not taking into account the importance of the these initial stages.

Also you might want to spend only a short 5 or 10 minute sessions at first, take a break and come back to do another 5-10 minute session. Build it up to 20 minutes per session, later you will be able to do an hour or more per session without a problem. Be consistent this practice pays off. There will be a number of obstacles you will need to tackle so make sure you are vigilant.

A tyrant is someone who controls by force. I can't make this any simpler for you

"In the exact sense, a tyrant is an individual who arrogates to himself the royal authority without having a right to it. This is how the Greeks understood the word 'tyrant': they applied it indifferently to good and bad princes whose authority was not legitimate."

My post was in regards to that type of tyrant, in that case it would be hard to judge whether the God is truly a tyrant in that context because they might just be carrying out a natural operation which is neccessary for the God to perform within the laws of nature. But to our subjective perception we may see the God as a tyrant in the negative sense because of our not being able to negotiate with the operations being carried out. Well we cannot truly perceive every operation that takes place without our consent to be considered a tyranny! Especially when we are discussing superior forces or operations.

A God who manages a planet, manages in the sense of keeping it in harmony with all the forces of nature in order to function correctly, this God cannot be considered a tyrant, but rather an intelligent principle intelligently managing the forces of creation in order to keep balance and harmony. This type of God does not do anything selfishly but does what is needed in order keep forces in balance and within the laws of nature karma included!

Valkry is right, morning projections are much easier... because the body and mind is relaxed to a high degree compared to the tension built up at the end of the day, you wont have to spend much time with relaxation techniques in the morning, also if you do fall into a dream the chances of having a lucid dream are quite high.

Quotemale tyrant gods

Well thats not quite accurate, managing Gods yes, if they were tyrants we wouldnt have as many chances as we currently have had to change our ways.

The female spirit part sounds a little more convincing as the nurturing forces are of a femanine nature, plus this would coincide with the idea of Mother Nature.

But still... unless you have developed an objective perception you run the risk of believing your own mistaken perception which could be subjective entirely.

I think its good to be enthusiastic that you will achieve something during the practice, in order to have a good mind set, but if you do not reach the goal of astral projection you should at least have learnt something or developed some minor things during the practice.

These kinds of things are much more complicated than merely wishing it to all work, sometimes there are varying factors to be considered if its not working out... something which you will figure out on your own if you are intuitive, nobody here can truly give you a simple solution to your problem, sometimes you have to figure these things out with your own mind.

Okay well since nobody is giving any serious answers I might aswell tell you a technique I have learnt from Swamiji Sivananda a great Yogi and Guru!

Keep in mind that this may take some time to develop, you must cultivate some patience or you will not find much benefit from these exercises.

QuoteAjna Chakra is situated within the Sushumna Nadi and its corresponding centre in the
physical body is at the space between the two eye-brows. This is known as Trikuti. The presiding
deity, Paramasiva (Shambhu), is in the form of Hamsa. There is Goddess Hakini (Sakti}. Pranava
xdvng (Om) is the Bijakshara for this Chakra. This is the seat of the mind. There are two petals
(Yoga Nadis) on each side of the lotus (Chakra) and the vibrations of these Nadis are represented by
the Sanskrit letters:—xdvng (Ham) and (Ksham). This is the Granthi Sthana (Rudra Granthi). The
Chakra is of pure white colour or like that of the fullmoon (on the Purnima day). Bindu, Nada and
Sakti are in this Chakra. This Chakra corresponds to Tapo-Loka. The corresponding centre in the
physical body is at the Cavernous Plexus.

He who concentrates at this centre destroys all the Karmas of the past lives. The benefits that
are derived by meditation on this Chakra cannot be described in words. The practitioner becomes a
Jivanmukta (liberated man while living). He acquires all the 8 major and 32 minor Siddhis. All
Yogis and Jnanis too concentrate to this centre on the Bijakshara, Pranava!(OM). This is called
Bhrumadya Drishti (gaze at the space between the two eye-brows). More details of this important
Chakra will be given in the subsequent lessons.

Also vocalising the mantra iiiiiiiiiiiiiii works very well, pronounced like the e in Sheet, coupled with concentration in the middle brow area where this wonderful chakra resides will start to awaken it. Vocalising this mantra for about an hour a day will do alot.

If you do some researching look up Hercolubus, it is apparently very similar to what is referred to as planet x or Nibiru, although it is stated that this planet is actually called the Bernard Star by astronomers.

Well I definitely saw results, and I will definitely continue to practice this particular method. I'm saying that he mixes up the words subjective and objective, and it's obvious to me. I was just wondering if anyone else who read through the entire article noticed it. Doesn't affect my view on the material what so ever, but it just doesn't sound right. He refers to us in our current physical form as objective when in reality we are all subjective in our bodies, only experiencing the world through our eyes subjectively. Sorry if I come off as holier than thou because that is the complete opposite of my nature. By the way thanks for the welcome Kurt. I would love to become involved with a community such as this.

I totally agree, to have objective perception whilst in the physical body is indeed an effort to cultivate, I think what the author meant by objective though is that the objects being viewed do not shape-shift to our perceptions desire like in a dream state, but because this does not occur it is not natural to think that we are objective in perception because of this. We are subjective in perception of the objects and things around us regardless if our thoughts or minds have no visible effect on the objects around us.

Well, if you really think about it everyone goes off to dreamland at night, completely unaware of their condition, only sometimes having "vivid dreams" this vividness is due to their consciousness being more aware or awake and in the now. Usually people are never in the "here and now" people daydream during their daily activities, they dream of going fishing, of seeing this or that person, being in the here and now means to have your consciousness completely awake every moment of your existence, whether you lay down to have a nap, to sleep, to work, to eat etc, most people are never in the here and now, and that is because they/we dream during the day and this rolls over to our sleep, we dream during sleep, we dream because our consciousness is engrossed and identified with all the subjective elements of our mind.

To have astral experiences means that you are in the here and now! while most people are engrossed in their subjective elements during sleep or naptime, even during the day while you may be out projecting these people are daydreaming, thinking about other things and forgetting the present moment, they react to the physical in an automatic way thinking that they chose to do this or that. No their "monky mind" chose to do that with their consciousness persuaded or hypnotised to do certain things. You see to be truly in the here and now one not only perceives the physical world but also one is understanding and directly observing their own inner psychological, emotional, sexual/instinctual processes simulataneously understanding how the impressions of the physical world (the things we see, hear, touch, smell etc) are being interpreted intenally and producing certain reactions that may be harmful and completely unconscious.

To be in the here and now means you are a conscious living being from moment to moment as the moment arises, whether you are in the astral plane or physical plane, if you are in the astral plane but are unconscious then you are not in the here and now, you as a consciousness are asleep, maybe identified with your own subconscious elements (dreams).

People are usually ignorant when it comes to dreams and such, because they think its not something valuable, they tend to give more importance or value to their physicality, because it doesnt appear to them as vague as dreams do. However our dreams are a reflection of how we are in our dayto day life, submerged within our own subjectivity with our consciousness deeply asleep. If we were truly conscious during the day we would be 100% conscious of what we do and where we are in our sleep. The more conscious you are during the day the more conscious you are in your state of sleep, try it.. it works.

And by being conscious of being in sleep you realise that you are infact astral projecting albeit unconsciously and interacting with the subconscious elements you have created, the elements you are always interacting with during your "waking hours" therefore you dont realise you are asleep just as you dont realise that you are asleep during your "waking" hours.

Explorer, got the HDR working? What kind of feedback are you getting from it?

Is it true that each galaxy has its own laws therefore if we were to astral project we either can't enter another galaxy or if we do then we are breaching/breaking the law, and collecting Karma?

Hey,

Tayesin ive heard conflicting stories about the Reptilians, some say they don't exist, some say they exist but live in the hollow earth etc. Where are these beings living? Also how does one go about contacting other species like you do?
