Welcome to Metaphysics! / New Here
November 15, 2003, 16:55:53
Hi I'm new here and I can feel other peoples emotions as well.
I can also sense their personalities as well but mostly when in close contact with others.
I notice that I can even recieve sort of a physic impression just by gazing into their eyes.
I have interacted with other people sensing them and once with a male friend of mine sharing the same ability.
The experience was amazing.I mostly prefer to interact empathically with males due to the intimacy of this connection since I am a female.
I wonder if there is anyone close to me that would like to chat with me further?
I live in NYC Manhattan. [:)]

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Empathy
November 15, 2003, 16:06:44
I have for years had the power of empathy( sense of others emotions and self).
I prefer it over the power of telepathy because I'd rather feel someone's energy and being than read their mind.
I wonder if anyone else out there has same power and would like to talk about it?

Well I'm not even currently unemployed right now so I don't really have  $10 to spare.
I also think that its somewhat unfair to start suddenly charging for a service that was free before.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream Journal
July 25, 2004, 19:18:29
It sounds to me like in the dream where you were a man you played the part of another dream character.
Sometimes in my dreams I will play the part of another female or a child but usually always that of a human.
Its like being an extra in a movie.
I really dislike dreams where I feel bad in them and it sounds like you had a most unpleasant dream other than being a man which sounds like fun!
There are some things that I have done when I have dreamt of being a man but thats kinda personal.
When you say you saw good looking girls it makes me wonder if you are also bi sexual like I am.
But to help you recall your dreams here's a tip.
It helps to keep a journal of your actual life as well.
Write things down that you did, what you wore, what others wore.
Observe your enviroment very closely and note everything around you like the color of a room, etc.
This should help to train yourself while in the dream state to make mental notes while you sleep that you should be able to access when you wake up later.

Ah, Speaking of the Matrix, how I'd truly love to have a dream with that sexy Neo with the lovely dark brown eyes, not to mention those cool shades!

Welcome to Dreams! / HOW do Dreams Work?
July 24, 2004, 20:00:03
I'm still trying to figure out exactly how dream characters, objects, places and things are structured and formed by the unconscious mind.
Often I am trying to explain to dream characters what they are really made up of but am not sure myself.

Welcome to Dreams! / Video Game Lucid Dream?
July 12, 2004, 19:35:48
Well once years ago when I used to play Street Fighter I dreamt that I was Colonel William Guile which is rather odd since I'm a female.
I kept trying to do these Sonic Booms but they wouldn't come out and my fair skinned muscular arms which I held out in front of got all red from the effort.
Which was rather true of my playing ability in the game back then, I could barely do the Sonic Boom move.

Welcome to Dreams! / Fall in Love in Dreams

Hey Mr. Spock is like totally sexy and I just simply love his pointed ears!
Their like pointy Kitty Kat and its makes one just want to rub those big ole' thingies!
Last night I had this weird sex type dream of Mr Rourke from Fantasy Island./
He was standing with little Tatoo next to him looking on and both had on those white suits.
At least until oops!,- Mr Rourke took his off and stood like totally nude in front of me!
I was lying in bed and he asked me if he could possibly in anyway help to make my wildest, most desirable fantasies come true in that heavy Latin accent of his.
I was completely shocked at this, since I definitely don't think of him in a romantic way at all.
But it was surely a dream for the books at any rate but for the record I said " No thats okay, I'm fine thank you, really!"

Welcome to Dreams! / Fall in Love in Dreams

I'll never forget that time years ago of one time when I dreamt of Mr. Spock from Star Trek.
It was so classically romantic with the both of us running across a grassy field with tall white flowers in it with huge happy smiles on our faces.
We ran joyfully into each others arms and Spock looked more happy than I'd ever seen him which is saying alot for an emotionless Vulcan.
We pressed cheeks together( no kissing however it was strictly innocent in nature) and hugged each other ever so tightly.
I don't remember what he said but he confessed his many years of undying love to me right there and then.
But then I pushed him away and felt disgusted.
It was kind of like having a strictly platonic friend from early childhood suddenly act in a provocative manner that you never thought of like that before.
But then when I looked back at the dream I realized it was really a revelation of how I now thought of him that I was of a more mature age.
Any further romantic dreams or thoughts of him I then afterwards welcomed with open arms.

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
July 03, 2004, 12:36:50
I must say Nick that this has been a most delightful topic and I'm glad you picked it!
As for Selski I know you were wondering about my name.
Actually it is the name of a  cute little beanie black puppy plush toy thats made by Animal Alley and can be found at Toys' R' Us and is like so totally adorable.
As for me and Superman, well lets just say that maybe some of our encounters may have tended to be more romantic at times but thats a totally different conversion geared more for another topic!

Hmm, I never thought of that before and a very interesting theory for sure. I myself am bi sexual and attracted to members of both sexes.
But I don't just look at it in a sexual way because one can love another person as a person regardless of their sex.

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
June 18, 2004, 14:01:17
Well just recently I had a dream that I had a visit from my old buddy Superman, the color one from the 1950's tv series.
I was just practicing my takeoffs on the sidewalk on the block that I live on when suddenly out of nowhere he flies up to me greets me and says he's got some more pointers for me.
I was rather surprised because I though I had already learned from him everything I needed to know about flying.
He asked me to show me my take off form so I did and I ran up a few feet jumped, and pushed hard off of the ground taking off soaring at an angle at least 30 stories of more.
But oddly enough when I did I noticed that my right foot I would sort of tuck behind my left calf for a moment before straightening out both legs.
Superman told me that this wasn't neccesary and took up time doing the extra  move.
I land again and then he takes off in front on me and shows me how he keeps both legs straight during lift off with me taking off at the same time with him side by side studying his form.
He would also take off with me and watch mine as he patiently tutored me in a very proffesional teacher like manner even though we both are good life long friends.
But I seem to keep tucking my foot every time out of habit when I took off it was so annoying.
However it was so cool to feel all of the great power behind the thrusts as I took off feeling the wind around me, seeing the ground blur and the feeling of weightlessness.
Maybe towards the end I came closer to gettting it right but I think I just got tired of the exercise so I eventually flew off elsewhere in the dream.

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
June 16, 2004, 20:27:41
Well often when I'm flying in dreams I'll do something like jump off a balcony or out of a window and I always come back up again after falling a few feet.
It's just like that natural buoyance one has like when they they jump into a pool feet first like off of a diving board and come back up again.
From there I'll start flying around similar like to when I'm in a pool and then start swimming around.

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dream Characters
June 15, 2004, 18:22:05
Well for me substance as well as sensation  in my surroundings both play vital roles in my dreams.
Even the dream people are acurate in almost every detail having bodily warmth, oder, texture, and even often come complete with almost aura like energy about them.
They are in fact living breathing individuals to me yet existing outside of the reality of the outside world but instead living inside of my mind and in my dreams.
Once I met a nice young dream chick who told me her name was Leia when I asked her.
She was about 23 years old, a college student, and I had walked in on her when she was in class.
She was a pretty fair skin girl with long dark brown hair which she had in a ponytail with some loose wavy bangs on her forehead.
she also had dark brown wide eyes, a long slightly pointed nose, average sized lips, and a slim slightly broad cheeked face with a small sqaure chin.
She reminded me of a sort of slimmer faced version of the daughter of Mrs. Robinson in the movie "The Gradute".
She was wearing a pair of dark blue slim fit boot cut jeans with brown pointed boots, and a off white fuzzy turtle neck sweater which may have been cashmere.
Her teacher, in appearences looked as if he were perhaps Middle Eastern in nature was not entirely pleased I had interrupted his lesson.
Leia was standing at the black board at the front of the classroom and had been writing her lessons on it.
I tried my best to explain to her that she was a dream person and her existance was soley generated by my mind.
She seemed to grasp this and being very kind and friendly in nature smiled in wonderment and said " Really? Wow, thats so cool!"
Then I turned and left and left her to her class work.

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dream Characters
June 14, 2004, 20:48:40
Well, my lucid dreams are very vivid and extremely long lasting with me having alot of freedom to do and go wherever I want.
I also can have small conversations with dream characters as well.
This wasn't always so, but when I came to accept my dream world for what it was and the dream people for what they were everything just fell into place.
The dream people are often not the brightest but I have sometimes tried to explain to them exactly just what they really are and they are slowly starting to  both understand and accept it.
I have often have close to the full range of tactile experiences in dreams with both the surroundings and the people and generally have very high recall when I wake up.

Hmmm, that was a very strange phenomenon that you experienced and I'm not sure what exactly to make of it.
But I often also see things while lying in bed in the dark.
Once I saw a soft cuddly pink stuffed toy pony pillow with long pink silky straight hair, a round muzzle with no mouth, and big half oval white and dark pink eyes.
It was so pretty and I could see it so clearly when it just materialized right before my eyes.
And as quickly as I saw it it was gone again.

Welcome to Dreams! / Vampire in a dream
April 16, 2004, 13:06:47
I often dream of vampires or that I myself am half or total vampire.
I dress part of a vampire in life alot because I feel like expressing myself that way.
I dream of running from and avoiding the sun which I also don't care much for in life as well.
I dream of intense fear of the sun and my fangs instead of the slip overs I wear become real ones.
Its all pretty weird though but since I belong to Vampire Courts and Families maybe thats why I dream such things. [}:)]

Welcome to Dreams! / Controlling dream people.
April 16, 2004, 12:57:43
Well I don't have any control over dream people. They are completely seperate and opinionated individuals who visit me whenever they like and do whatever they like.
Just recently I have become able to communicate with them enough to let them know what they really are and they are beginning to accept the fact that their existance is being generated from my mind.
When I encounter dream people the experience is true to life.
They come complete with bodily warm, physical sensation, and even have oddly enough actual auras that I can sense coming from them.

Welcome to Dreams! / Being murdered hurts.
April 16, 2004, 12:40:44
I have also died in dreams either as myself or as a stand in for a dream person. Just a few days ago I dreamt of a young 11 year old boy and his dad who were being hunted down by criminals.
As I observed this suddenly the boy was taken out of the dream and I was put in his place instead. No one noticed the switch and I was shot in the chest about 6 to 8 times. I fell to my knees stunned and with a numb awful throb in my chest, feeling myself die.
I woke up startled, shocked, and extremely disoriented.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / telepathy.....
April 16, 2004, 12:30:16
Hmm, telepathy, well I have never had much success in it but at times I have been able to think out loud something someone else had thought of a moment ago.
Maybe thats just coincedence though. Telepathy has always seemed so cold and intrusive to me. I have always preferred Empathy and it comes much easier to me being able to feel one's emotions rather than to read one's mind. But it would be a curious thing to be able to do both.

Welcome to Dreams! / How high can you fly??
March 15, 2004, 13:55:07
At times I have shot up into the sky way past the skyscrapers almost into the clouds for it seems I can go only as high as there is enough air for me to breathe.
I have been flying from an very early age ever since I was about 5 years old maybe.
It was a slow process with me 1st starting out by involuntary levitation around the age of 2-4.
I would find myself outside of my bedroom in the hallway lying on my back suddenly.
Sometimes while unconcious while dreaming I would feel myself floating outside my room before waking up on the floor in the hall.
In time i learned how to control the levitation and was even able to float back into my room at will.
The whole thing was like a learning process like when you first learn to crawl and then you learn how to walk.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Empathic moment?
January 29, 2004, 20:05:00
Ah Shorty, its good to see that you have had an empathic experience!
Too bad it was a negative one though.
Anger tends to be a violent and upseting emotion so perhaps that can explain the feeling you experienced in your chest.
I hope that you're next experience will be a more pleasant one!

Just recently I had another empathic experience with my friend and a much stronger one than before.
We agreed to be in a quieter enviroment and went back to his house.
He has a natural curiousity about empathy and has been read before by physics.
We closed our eyes joined hands and mediated after which point I reached out for him and drew in the sensations which I perceived flowing from him.
I then translated these sensations into emotions and put the pieces together better this time.
I sensed extreme lonliness, a great and vast need to be loved, and much pain which I believed was caused by contact with some other individual.
Even though he is not empathic I could feel him reaching for me his energy and joining with my own.
When it was over he said that I had read him much more accuratly this time than before.
He said that people would probably pay money for me to read them but I have sought to use my powers hopefully one day in a manner able to really help others and not just for financal gain.

Well I have to admit that a club enviroment really sucks when trying to read someone with all of the noise and other persons.
But as a favor to my friend I tried to attempt it.
As far as crystal balls, cards, and items of that nature I haven't used them before but am open to the use of different methods to bring on a more productive state of mind.
