Kakkarot - Jehovah is a transliteration of the Sacred Name YHVH as I'm sure you are aware. My experiences (catch basket method) have led me to accept that he is a very personal G-D. Perhaps you will find these 2 links as interesting as I have. The first deals with the Sacred Name and the second deals with Judaism and Christianity.

As for magic... if you have faith in Jehovah and Messiah then imho I feel you are barking up the wrong tree. If Moses, Elijah and Yeshua were magicians then Franz Bardon is my mom.

Basically, you said in your posts that you did "soul retrieval" work. This sparked off my interest because I recently met an entity who took me to a large garden full of children who had been "retrieved". So my curiousity has been doubly ignited.

Also, it sparks off questions such as whereabouts on the Astral do you retrieve these entities from, and where do you take them? Who are you "working for"? How did you get recruited? How do you know which ones to retrieve? Do you work from some kind of list or do you project and get directed somehow?

I'm thinking also, you must have to navigate with a very high degree of accuracy; and the art of navigating to specific places is something I am avidly working on, so I'd be grateful for any hints and tips.

Sorry for all the questions, but if you could do your best to fill me in, in layman's terms (if at all possible) as I am not well versed in mystical terminology.

Yours,
Frank

Frank - I'm quite sure I'm not waterfall but you sound so earnest in your questions so I hope you don't mind. I think if you borrowed or purchased Robert Monroes 2nd book "Far Journey" and 3rd book "Ultimate Journey"
you would not be wasting your reading time. A rough map of the astral is presented in the second book and since you are becoming more adept at navigation this might prove beneficial to you. His 3rd book goes into some detail on "The Park" which is on a high region of the astral or from his perception "focus 27". Since you are quite familiar with focus 10 and mind awake/body asleep not to mention conscious obe it would give you good basic groundwork and answer your questions about who you retreive, who you work for, direction, the park, etc. Also, the knowledge presented in those 2 books has no religious overtones at all, he seems to approach the whole thing like an objective un-attached scientist or a curious explorer which I perceive you may relate to. Speaking just for myself, I would love to see you locate that park or reception center he speaks of. That garden with children sounds pretty close. I believe the park is the hub of this somewhat vast reception station so to speak. Keep us posted.

My best to you on your journey.

Join the US army.  :)

Frank - Touche. I have grown to enjoy your wit.

ninthplanet - I think you have to mainly follow your own innner essence on this but to ask others advice surely shows wisdom. As for Psychology, I myself am quite ignorant but the small amount I've read I find interesting. I notice that astralc has combined his knowledge of psychology, astrology with knowledge of the tao. I would love to see the same done with psychology and western hermetics although  Dion Fortune comes to my mind for some reason. Perhaps you could refer to astralc on the benefits of psychology.

In regards to the US Army. I think that is a great experience but like anything it is what you make of it. I spent 4 yrs assigned with the 82abn, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment and it seems I learned more about myself and others than in the whole previous 23 years. A few of the more simple and obvious lessons: never speak bad or offensively of another human or anything they may identify with including their name, regiment (especially canadians), flag, nation or political leaders, religious beliefs or leaders, occupation, spouse, children or even the shoes they wear on thier feet. Why you ask? Well lets just say flags are like projected personality and ego, as soon as we raise them up the flagpole we are willing to defend them or attack others flying "different" colors, even to the point of physical death.

Second best lesson: an individual soldier is only a small part. Soldiers make a squad which together make a platoon, company, battallion, regiment. You eat, sleep, laugh, cry, suffer, triumph, live and die together. You realize these "others" and you are parts of something bigger. Great human analogy here but I didn't catch it until years later after losing alot of the brainwashing that was part and parcel of that experience.  Once I caught the precept of the inner-self, higher-self, oversoul, greater-self things have fallen together a bit. ninthplanet - imho you don't need the army. Take notice and save yourself 4 years of humping a rucksack and weapon for someone's "cause".
You are already a part of something far greater than a military regiment,  america or the european intelligencia... something perhaps even far greater than being human itself. The wisdom here is accepting others with no conditions for no other reason except that everyone you meet is a part of that same "something greater". Just do the best you can and walk your own path mate... that's all any of us are doing.

My best to all of you on your journey.

As for my nova dreamer is seems to help me alot with my dream recall but I can't say that it's increased my lucid dream episodes. I'm going lucid perhaps once or twice a month which was my same rate before using the mask. There seem to be alot of issues, some with the mask and some with me. It puts a pressure across my lower brow that I just don't like. If I loosen it then I wake up with it beside me on the pillow wondering how I didn't crush the components with my elbow since they are quite exposed. I work a 12hr night shift four nights running which leaves me exhausted so if I wear it on those days I seem to ignore the cues. Other times when I'm on my 4 nites off I sleep light and the cues wake me up but this has helped dream recall by just lying there quietly and remembering the last dream. I think the cues to go lucid are in our dreams even without the mask. One day I was sleeping without the mask and had this dream where I was standing outside with some other people (sort of a work related environment) when someone made the comment it was time to go back in the building. An older friend was in this dream who looked at me with a cat-eating grin and said... "I like to take this shortcut." He said it as if he expected me to follow and then turned and walked right through the brick wall. I thought "Cool. I better hurry to the entrance with these other folks so I won't be late."
When I woke up I was really sorry I had missed such an obvious cue. It would have been so easy to just say.. "Wait a sec, he can't walk through brick walls... this must be a dream." Not so easy for me I guess. I think the energy ways in RB's book have helped me more than anything lately. On 2 occasions I've noticed the strobe in the brow chakra but it didn't evolve into the rapid frequency Robert speaks of. Also just the past few days I've noticed catching movement to the edge of my vision as if something was there but as soon as I turn all I catch is a split second glimpse of a gray, misty almost like smoke. Sometimes if I turn my head back straight and don't focus on it I can see it 2 or 3 times more before the effect seems to fade. I think this is somehow related to the energy work but it doesn't seem frightening, just interesting. Sorry to ramble on so but I did promise an update.

Ryno your post gave me a "great big happy". It reminds me of an old tibetan buddhist saying, something along the lines of  "If you find yourself living as a cow,  then just enjoy the taste of grass." Not comparing you to a cow, more like a human who just accepts themself and enjoys their life with no worry as to what the rest of the herd thinks. You could have taken the nose issue personally but you used it for growth instead not to mention that Ryno is a groovy sounding nick.

Are you sposed to do it in a dream and then realise "oh im dreaming"?

- Ashfo

Yes. Focusing on your hands or any part of the dream body draws your attention to the other self... the dreamer. You are the dreamed, you must remember the dreamer. To quote Victor Sanchez from his excellent work The Teachings of Don Carlos... "The specific item chosen is not important; what matters is to give yourself the order while awake and to carry it out while dreaming. As the "dreamed" remembers, you perceive the order coming from somewhere and then you remember the other world. You remember the 'dreamer'. "
The end goal is to eventually allow the dreamed to actually locate and look upon the dreamer. My, my... is that me lying there sleeping in that bed? Heavy thoughts indeed.

as I was (oops) saying... Art of Dreaming by Castaneda I think about 8 months back. Took me almost 3 months but I finally found my hands in my dreams and I was so excited I woke up and forgot to go lucid. However it did lead into 2 decent fully lucid but not very well controlled dreams over the next few weeks. It was enough to make me start saving for a NovaDreamer which I bought about 2 weeks ago and received yesterday. If I can't find go lucid and find the dreamer within 12 months I'll sell it to you cheap. :) Actually I'm pretty excited, I can't count how many times I've spent looking at any flashing light and then checking my hands over the past couple weeks trying to get the mind in gear.
I'll keep you posted when I make some progress.

I should modify my previous statement regarding "waste time in a belief system area" to would much prefer the "area where I am needed." It seems that a feeling of fraternity is a big part of this. Willingness to be of service and help others. Admittedly assisting others who would be caught up in the real-time zone or inner-most ring (name your flavor), well it would have to be fascinating to say the least. At my present progress I'd be quite overjoyed to be in the training grounds. What can I say... those vibrations gave me quite a jolt. The last couple weeks have found me more focused on dream recall and lucidity as if I'm trying to sneak in an OBE without having to face those vibrations. However, I have great confidence these fears can be faced and conquered... curiosity will win out.

best to you all,

All I want to say is this Robert, whatever you do don't ever let a bit of disagreement stop you from sharing your adventures, ideas or even unproven conjecture with us. Case in point: I still get a feeling inside me that is very hard to describe everytime I read the words about the Continuance and the sword of power.

Well I suppose I can relate to Joe and Daniel here in one respect... there's something to that christ of the bible. Back in 1979 I was 18yr old, minding my own biz, partying, ACDC Highway to Hell days. A few days later I was hanging out with my same band of friends... they were smoking dew and I was trying to explain deep spiritual truths to them. Someone should've locked me up for 6 months back in those days. I almost made a minister until my continuing study of the bible began bringing up more questions than it was answering. Reincarnation was the start. Whatever you do don't say jesus and cayce in the same sentence. :)  For those of you searching and looking at things from a christian perspective I would highly recommend the books about daskalos the greek christian mystic written by Kyriacos C. Markides.
At the same time I can relate to fallnangel77. I like to consider myself a free thinker. Over 20 years later, endless searching and learning I can just as easily say I'm a tibetan buddhist, hindu, ceremonial magician. I can leave it all behind and just be "more than my physical body" as Monroe says or just be "consciousness using energy" as Waldo Vieira says. He throws off all religion with nothing more than a shrug and it doesn't offend me so perhaps I am growing? I don't like to be categorized but I will be anything to anyone if it helps us discuss, learn and verify. This present personalty is a sum total of all these belief systems and I don't worry over it much any longer. To be honest I grow tired of all the theory sometimes and just wanna get out and do my own verification.

Frank - enjoyed your input here. I agree about the wave series and have been drawn to the Focus12-liftoff I believe in wave3.Curiously, when I stumbled into the vibrations over a week ago I was just experimenting with trance and breath, no audio input. Indeed a projection "reflex" just like the panic reflex that set in on me. I'm inclined to think the panic reflex is ego related... "what's happening to ME" survival type flee response.
Interesting when you said you can almost hear the vibrations at some of the frequencies. I'm starting to think the tinnitus (ringing ear) that the army gave me was a curse but now a blessing. When doing a full body circuit I've noticed by focusing on that high-pitched ringing in my head that it helps clear the monkey mind and can almost act as a channel to help with energy focus. Plus the fact that the ringing is very high frequency and modulates, any thoughts?
Lately, I've been attempting to form the energy around my head in a ring and just play with and then amplify it. It amazes me that we can even do this just with will and intention. Will keep you all posted and enjoy reading!

Thanks Quebec. You're correct, there are many good tips under that topic. On the bright side my lucid dreaming ability seems to be coming right along. I believe the next time I mess up the OBE exit I'm gonna do like RB in his book...
just roll over and attempt to start a WILD. Too bad I didn't try that the other night. I must've just breezed over that section on my first reading.
