I wnt to explore da physical, all da planes of existence and meet all da unique entities.I wnt to see da most beautiful scenery, da most advanced civilizations and all da diverse ways of life of all lifeforms. I wnt to become transcendent over my physical self, w/ a an infinite intelligence, and power, and knowledge. To be free, nvr having to respond to any authority. More specifically, one thing I wnt to do is be in a state where my intent is solid, zero fear. And I wnt to create my own universe with unique physics. Does all this mean I may have less love and compassion? Absolutely not, I'll always love. oh, and I wnt to leave this planet and not be unconscious when I exit, or forced into reincarnation....
So..... Am I in da right universe to wnt and do all this?

Now you get the "larger picture"

NEO, the awakened ONE. (means Buddha)

and unlimited potential.

Re-liege to no ONE. Know ONEself and you shall know eternity.

No better time than now to challenge ONEself  :-D

I questioned that years later and was told "that to fully appreciate the "Light", you must first delve into the Darkness". Then you have a choice to make.

White light is the inverse of Black light.

All colours are emanations of white/black light. All is one.

Contrasts and polarity are needed to define a concept.
Movement and drama is achieved through a potential for change.
To know what is, one needs to know what isn't.
Cold and hot; barren and fertile; freedom and slavery; unlimited and limited; dark and light
are all concepts and perspectives reasoned within the light of mind/source.

But I thought, dis could be part of a larger picture.

Could my mental radio (I imagine my brain as a radio tuned into my perceiving self) somehow be jammed to the negative astral?

Now that one has explored/perceived the spectrum of different expressions,
can one not realise self and choose from that level of awareness?

What do you want to experience and explore?

This an an unproven theory related to the third eye and projection.
Practise phasing instead. As per your description, you can phase.

I've generally ended up somewhere undesirable!

Like in the Sci-fi movie "Jumper" you can try to focus your intention with photos of places you want to experience.

Place this big photo or poster above your bed or on the wall where you can see.
These places may be of realities you have already experienced,
or of imagined realities that you and/or others have conceptually defined.
eg. Astral Pulse Island.

Imagination and visualisation exercises of experiencing the place can help.
Try it  :-D

I am saying you can cast your body with your own awareness. You can choose your own patterns and knowledge to use. With practice you certainly can become a bird and fly. I have become a dragon, and felt all the sensations of it but backed out at the last second. I have also had my head change into a dog's head and felt his nostrils flare and the sensitivities in the nose in the wind. I have successfully stopped and started my heart beat on a machine reader, and went flatline. The doctor said I was dead but I intended to project my body's muscles and air with my mind. I learned that day to start and to stop my heart with my mind. I did it about twenty times in one day. I AM ALIVE! I AM DEAD! It became fun, and powerful.

I like this thread  :-D

I have edited my body during phasing with my intent,
but can't seem to alter it in primary focus physical reality.

somnium, I would like you to share your methods.

We are co-creating already, now and now and now.....

How are we each contributing to the narrative of the shared dream/reality?

This dream reality explores many themes, one of which includes
Government/Corporations/legal fictions dictating to man/living souls how to live.
Many challenges are placed in ones path.
Most are compelled to look at ourselves and ask serious questions.
Some of which include, are you going to accept the status quo and acquiesce to their presumed authority
or assert your inalienable rights?
http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1061782019&postcount=30

From a higher perspective, does it really matter?
We are omnipresent mind and the reality is temporary (play and dream in mind).

I became obsessed with having another 'vortex dream' again. So every night after that I would try to will it in to manifesting in my dreams again. Well to my great satisfaction I had another about a week or two later.

I like to think that this was a meeting with the Source of all creation, but I would love to hear everyone's thoughts as well. Thanks people.

Hi zook,

To answer your poll questions: yes to all.
QuoteDid I merge with Source?
Was this a meeting with my higher self?
Can this vortex be manifested at will?

This depends on your self awareness level/state of consciousness during the experience.
Knowing that you are both the dreamer and the dream,
omnipresent self awareness, mind, consciousness, living word, (all metaphors) IS life,
mind IS absolute and no thing (void)
and all perceived things exist in mind/self,
then from this level of knowing, you can direct your experiences by intent.

You can experience merging with Source, the more aware aspect of self, some call "higher self" or "I am"
Sometimes it feels like dropping the dead weight of false egos/personalities/programming constraints,
removing the filters and letting go to allow and embrace unlimited self/Source.
You can experience a vortex, in the context of experiencing another dimension/aspect
of consciousness within the dream environment.
You can experience the void, a state of pure consciousness, no thing, ISness.

Note, "you" and "one" are used to express both singular and plural,
all one  alone.
Source is experiencing self subjectively, interacting with aspects of self within the dream context/story.

I had several alternate reality experiences with mirrors and looking into mirrors.
These occurred during moments of my life where I was engaged in deep self introspection.
Mirrors reflect.
Experiencing a mirror symbolises self reflection, self introspection leading to greater self realisation.
The outer world/reality is a reflection of the inner self.
As self is all ther IS, what is your state of consciousness, awareness of self? [rhetorical question]

Lucid dream. Physical reality context.
I also recently willed a golden frame hand held mirror to appear in my hand
(I seem to have a fondness for golden frame mirrors, or perhaps default symbol  ).
because I was curious and wanted to check out the appearance of the light body vessel I was using
in the dream experience  :-D

[Added]
Oh, I forgot to mention that after I saw my reflection in the round hand held mirror,
my desire to check out the vessel followed through.
I was able to perceive the entire body from the third person perspective,
as if I was looking at the body from a video camera panning the body view.
Then from this third person perspective, I willed the body image to morph
and sculptured the body appearance with my intent.
No sensations were experienced during the body editing.
My sense of sight was highly focused.

[Continued lucid dream. Changed to non-Physical reality context; no physical sensations].
I grew bored of body editing so I allowed the dreamscape to open up.
The experience was much like finding yourself in a type of virtual reality game,
where the avatar knows self to be the player, and interacted with the visual elements.
The avatar can perceive oneself from first or third person perspective.
Unfortunately in this particular experience, I did not feel any physical sensations,
after I detached from the perception that I am the body.
I was able to move through the scene like one directs a video camera with my intent.
I thought to move right, trees and children.
Camera navigates and pans right to reveal more green trees and laughing children appear
gaily running and playing,
[open to panoramic view] as the dappled sunlight danced through the rustling leaves
while the gentle swaying branches creates a light show on the green grass.

Well you get the gist...

I dropped out of college because the chances of landing a job worth the money of otherwise continued investment was not good enough for me. If you ask me, I don't have a solid answer for you, because I did not stick around long at all, so it is impossible to answer from a graduate's point of view.

We are already at home.

However in the context of this [virtual] reality commercial game,
you can be a better player by comprehending the codes.
What codes?
Uniform Commercial Code
or Bills of Exchange Act

Having graduated University and worked in various professional and management roles,
in my opinion, being able to use bills of exchange - negotiable instruments
is more valuable than formal education in the context of commercial transactions.

We conduct banking everyday whenever we engage with the public,
Corporation-Government-Banking legal fictions/agents in commerce.
Most feel disempowered because we are trained and conditioned to be slaves of the system.
Once you know that you are the "Creditor in Commerce" and comprehend their Codes,
you will feel more empowered in banking.

[In the context of this reality frame & commerce]

Empowering myself with the knowledge and abilty to use "Bills of exchange"
negotiable instruments being the basis of this debt commercial system,
made me feel more confident in my everyday dealings with Government-Corporation-Banks.

We are actually doing banking each time we receive written documents bearing
the pretend Government-Corporate "Seal" (trademark).
This is an offer to contract.
We are not told that we can conditionally accept and put our own terms on.
This becomes a bill with our signature and [postage] duty stamp;
the basis of this debt money system.
Now you have discharge your liabilities, set-off accounts & perhaps counter-claim;
paid by different performance, not strict performance -cash.

We, the people have all the power and the Government-Corporation-Bank
relies on our ignorance that we the people are the "Creditors in Commerce".
We and our children are trained in the system only to be surety, debtors of their Corporate bills,
contrary to the fact that we are the only ones producing value.
This perpetuates slave mentality.

Once you are more commercial-banking savvy you will experience a shift in mindset.
The power is in your acceptance and signature on all documents to either not consent,
accept or conditionally accept.

That is why there are more and more man, living soul claiming sui-juris, sovereign, freeman status.

I still have less than 10 posts and cannot post links or pictures but I remember I saw picture with densities and dimensions. There was 3rd density and 4th dimension which is this world we live in and there was written how many reincarnation does human have, which is 500. In lesser densities, this number was bigger and as cells, the number of reincarnations was huge.

My question is, is there a way to know which reincarnation I am on in this life? I consider myself indigo and Dolores Cannon says that indigo children are not supposed to be here but those who are here, who agreed to be here, they have a purpose to be here and emit their positive energy to others and charge them with positivity. They do not need karma since they don't have it and they do not want to have children because children is karma.

Her description of indigo child almost perfectly describes me and since it does, I have a question. Since indigo children are not supposed to be here, don't have need for karma (which I guess is then used to play role in your next reincarnation) and exist only to live, can this mean that this is my last reincarnation cycle in this world? i.e. 500th?

What is Reincarnation?
When one breaks down the word
re-in-carn-ation
yield
re-in-flesh-action

From this perspective reincarnation implies an experience in another body/flesh vehicle.

I hesitate to write another life because this implies one ceased to exist, ceased to be aware
and yet somehow re-vitalised self again.

Consider all reality frames, during meditation, phasing, out of body experiences,
after death experiences, vivid dreams, lucid dreams, remote viewing.
What is transient?
[The light body expression/persona, time-story context, landscape/mindscape?]
What is the common substrate?
[Self, awareness, I am, atman.]

From this perspective the idea of reincarnation is re-birth or re-death of one's ego/persona
relative to the light body expression.
In essence it is a shifting of one's perception.
Relative to the realty frame/dream/paradigm (all metaphors) one is experiencing,
one can redefine oneself accordingly.
***Hence the idea of our multi-dimensional self arises when one is more aware of the totality of our experiences.

We have one life which is continuous.
We exist now and thus we are omnipresent.
Like clothes, we may change form and appearances, but the self, awareness is omnipresent.

Perceiving linear time, beginning and ending depends on the story context in a time-space reality.
One can experience no ageing, just summer-time, no need to be born as an infant.
When there is no body awareness, no story context and no change of appearance and form,
one experiences no time as self is the only reference. [Reference to void experience].

The light body, our temple is a temp-orary vehicle for having experiences.
What sort of experiences?
This depends on the scope of imagination, one's attachments, desires, intents and belief systems.
For example those that have strong religious beliefs in a doctrinated heaven and hell
may choose through their expectations to experience 'Belief System Territories'
such as Hollow Heavens and Hells > Bruce Moen:http://www.afterlife-knowledge.com/hvnhl.html
Similarly if one has karma moral self judgement beliefs, one may expect, intend and will such
paradigms for self to experience.

The labelling of realities as numbered dimensions and densities does not attribut any
specific qualities except to the original conceiver of paradigm and believers of corresponding paradigm.
eg. Ra - Law of One. Linear graduation Ascension model of soul progression.
Those that like the idea and lack imagination can experience that which they choose to believe.
However this is not an absolute.

Realities can have various attribute labels and categories which facilitate memory filing
and recall in a similar way one groups books and movies according to genre, titles,
subject matter etc. and files-subdirectories on a computer server.

At the personal level, it is more relevant to re-member those experiences that you prefer
during your phasing experience including OOBEs, lucid dreams, vivid dreams and
decide if you would like to experience elements of that again.
Consider the following:
Light body expression, density experience, sexual Persuasion, need to consume food/drink or not,
story-time context, community organisation style, technology availabel etc.
In short, design your own You-in-verse and pick an avatar

"The Astral Plane, Astral Travel/Projection, OBE, 5th Dimension etc. is actually what is called Cloning Centers. When someone projects or travels, their consciousness is transferred into a clone (most likely a REM-driven Mark 2 clone) at a Cloning Center (in the 3rd Dimension) while experiencing MK Ultra visual and audio effects. Also, your clone may be pre-drugged to make it feel like a dream. These Cloning Centers are above and below ground (in DUMBs).

Fear mongering tales.

Clone what? "their consciousness"
- is non-physical
- Who are you? Who am I?
- their, you, I are all personas, not the true self.
- True self, inner self, higher self, "the atman" is self awareness, omnipresent creative intelligence,
   without any fixed self definitions
- One does not have consciousness, one and all is consciousness, source.
- All dreams and realities including the 3rd Dimension are plays in consciousness,
without any real permanence or substance (no solidity).

How do I know?
Let intuition be your guide, and your personal experiences be your knowing.

First off dreamingod, great depiction of that vortex. I call this one the red Tornado and I have been seeing it quite a bit lately!

This is the only medium sized image available on Google Image search that I can find
which closely resembles the crimson vortex. I did not perceive any black hole centre,
just different hues of crimson-red.

I have experienced spinning vortices before and can expect a stargate experience.
My vortex experiences vary in colour and the extent of 'astral wind' & centripetal force.
My first vortex experience was made of a multitude of colourful fine vibrating strings of light.
Many experiences were of black-dark grey vortices. Drawn into a mirror can have the same effect.
Once I was not in the vortex, but approached [disembodied] a white spinning vortex made of
personality-voice-data stream. Where I directed my attention, I experienced an blasting
astral-wind mind vortex filled with the thought propensity of many personality data-streams.

I likened a vortex to a kind of tunnel vision experience.
One is fully immersed in the experience  :-D

Quote from: Lionheart on July 29, 2013, 01:15:14
The only thing I think is unfair sometimes, is when I "click out" just as things are getting really good. Sometimes it just overwhelms the mind so much, that you just lose consciousness again.

I can definitely relate to that  :-D

There have been only two of times when I have experienced awesome trips,
then phased back fully aware to my main focus PMR with my eyes opened.
This includes my first OOBE experience with dual consciousness.

I seem to be more alert, have better recall and great astral/alternate reality adventures
when I feel rested and am not interrupted when I wake up.
Since I have young children I tend to have great memorable trips once a week or so.

Quote from: Lionheart on July 29, 2013, 01:15:14
I know myself personally, the one thing I have been working on is to become consciously aware earlier in the Dream scenario, so that I have plenty of time to begin "grounding" myself there. So I can prolong the entire "adventure" and this is exactly what it is. It's a nightly adventure. Not always a positive one, you could be living a traumatic time in your life, you could be reliving your childhood or sometimes it's not even you. These ones are really bizarre.

I have not yet developed good control over prolonging my experiences.
Like my "Phasing red vortex, astral wind & euphoria to the void" experience,
when I am lucid enough I can override the "silent" narrator and direct my "play" in mind.

School-Test Theme:
A decade ago I kept on having recurring dreams about going back to school:
1. Preschool
2. Primary school
3. Highschool
4. University
I would find myself sitting for a test, feeling quite anxious that I have not
prepared myself sufficiently as I cannot remember studying. No causality.

Then after the second or third recurring dream (of each event), I would remember that I have completed:
preschool, primary school, highschool & university.

These recurring dreams exploring the "School Test" theme ceased when I remembered that
I have completed my formal education.

However two years ago I experienced University again, but the theme of the dreams
explored the idea that I have graduated and am attaining inner knowledge.
[PMR] Found myself in a spacious University scene, greenery & trees, some students about,
I passed a library building, glass tinted door, and my field of vision zoomed into a "library" sign.
In the middle of the scene was a concrete rectangular entry going deep down below.
Twenty steps I counted. I decided to investigate. I jumped from the ground level down.
When I landed I felt amazed that I could jump that far [looked like two storeys down]
and land so softly. I perceived a large pyramid illuminated by soft golden light.
The adjacent wall displayed a glass display showcasing trophies and awards.
Before I checked out, I remembered feeling a sense of awe.

I've had lucid dreams of pyramids before.
These ususually give me feedback about the extent of my awareness of the inner self,
and the degree of liberation I attain relative to the reality I am experiencing.

Quote from: Lionheart on July 29, 2013, 01:15:14
You always feel the "astral wind", as Mendel has called it, while entering or exiting a Vortex/Tornado, whatever you wish to call it. It just wisks you away!

Much different then just going through a doorway or crossing a bridge, etc.

I love the astral wind vortex experience  :-D

I have also experienced a type of torrent-water current experience.
The direction of the push and pull, -more pull changes direction
as per the velocity of the current.

Conscious

Etymology

From Latin conscius, itself from con- (a form of com- ("together") + scire ("to know").
scīre: present active infinitive of sciō "to know"

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/conscious

====

Conscience vs. Conscious
by Mark Nichol

What's the difference between conscience and conscious?
They stem from the same Latin root, but their usage is distinct.
Writers occasionally confuse the two words, but if you remain conscious,
you'll likely be able to say with a clear conscience that you know the difference.

Conscience and conscious both come from the Latin word conscius;
the word elements mean "with" and "to know."
(Yes, the -science in conscience means the same thing as science itself.)

Conscience is a noun meaning "sense of the quality of one's character and conduct,"
"adherence to moral principles," and "consideration of fairness and justice."
Confusion between conscience and conscious occurs because the latter word
is sometimes used as a noun synonymous with consciousness, meaning "mental awareness,"
though the longer form is usually employed.

More often, however, conscious appears as an adjective meaning "aware" or "awake,"
or "involving perception or thought."
It also appears in combination with a noun in phrasal adjectives such as
"budget conscious" to refer to someone who is concerned, sensitive,
or vigilant about something.

Conscience and conscious can be distinguished because the former word is qualitative —
people have various degrees of moral strength — while conscious, as its antonym,
unconscious, indicates, is quantitative: You're either one or the other,
whether the word is used as a noun or an adjective.

However, consciousness, as the word is usually applied, like conscious refers to a continuum:
We speak of raising one's consciousness and of higher consciousness,
because this quality can be improved or increased.
Like the noun conscious, though, consciousness has a quantitative sense as well,
referring to a state of mental activity, as opposed to unconsciousness caused by illness or injury.

Other words descended from the Latin word are self-conscious, which literally means
"self-aware" but has acquired a connotation of "preoccupied with how one is perceived by others,"
an attitude that leads to shyness and stress, and conscionable and its more common
antonym unconscionable; the latter means "inexcusable, reprehensible."

Conscientious means "scrupulous" or "careful"; a conscientious objector is someone
who objects to a requirement on religious grounds.
Originally, around the turn of the twentieth century, the context was mandatory vaccination,
but ever since World War I, the primary sense has been of a person who refuses military conscription.

Quote from: Mendel on July 26, 2013, 10:14:54
BTW, has anybody had any astral pulse/wind experiences recently. I wonder if they happen at the same time, or whether they are more personally timed.

Last night I slept very early at 7pm and woke up at 1 am in the morning.
I felt sufficiently rested, so I surfed the internet for the next 5 hours.
The morning sun light peeked through the curtains, so I decided to go to sleep.
I made an affirmation to experience the light.

After several minutes I phased to a classroom scene.
Dark blue carpet, white walls, and students in the room.
I experienced a younger version of me in a physical body.
Each student was paired off. Our task was to select an appropriate title for the story
[that we had already written?] then discuss it with our friend.
Next the [lady] teacher selected a pair of students to present their stories.
By then my attention was drifting.

I reminded myself "this is a lucid dream" and I did not have to stay for the presentation.
Part of my conscience insisted I had to stay with the task, else I will be letting my partner down.
Once again I reminded myself that this is a lucid dream, that I can decide whatever I want.
Then I perceived a transparent copy of my body sitting on the floor separate, lift and fly upwards.

I decided to experience the light, and the void.
Immediately I experience a swirling vortex. No black hole in centre.
This vortex is unusual as it is a red spinning tunnel of light.
My body awareness was limited to only perceiving my hands in front of me and my face.
The light body I experienced was nebulous, without any distinct boundaries between body and spinning vortex.
A red-crimson light permeated my mental space.

I surrendered myself to the red-crimson light and proclaimed that "I am happy"  :-D.
An overwhelming feeling of euphoria swept over me, my face felt flattened
[no pain, only an astral wind-like firm pressure] by the blast of light-bliss.
This state of elation remained for perhaps a few minutes, but it felt longer.

Then I came to the pitch-black void.
I experienced the [familiar] state of  "I am" :
no body awareness, nothingness, just the absolute clarity of my own awareness
of self and thoughts. I am life!

After a few minutes of this I lost remembrance.

Then another man who did have a NDE stood up and said he was a patient of this doubting Doctor and said "You are the last one I would have told", lol.

Neuroscientist Shares His Near Death Experience

Dr. Eben Alexander Interview:
QuoteThat's where I'm coming from because my experience showed me very clearly that incredibly powerful consciousness far beyond what I'm trapped in here in the earthly realm begins to emerge as you get rid of that filtering mechanism of the brain. It is really astonishing. And that is what we need to explain. Thousands or millions of near-death experiencers have talked about this.

PIM VAN LOMMEL, MD
Cardiologist/Author

In our prospective study of 344 patients who survived cardiac arrest we had to come
to the surprising conclusion that all the reported elements of a Near-Death Experience (NDE)
like an out-of-body perception, meeting with deceased relatives or a life review were
experienced during a transient functional loss of the cortex and of the brainstem,
with a flat line EEG.

During their cardiac arrest people can have veridical perceptions from a position outside
and above their lifeless body. NDE-ers have the feeling that they have apparently taken
off their body like an old coat and to their surprise they appear to have retained their own
identity with the possibility of perception, emotions, and a very clear consciousness.

This out-of-body experience (OBE) is scientifically important because doctors, nurses,
and relatives can verify the reported perceptions, and they can also corroborate the
precise moment the NDE with OBE occurred during the period of CPR.
This proves that an OBE cannot be a hallucination, because this means experiencing a
perception that has no basis in "reality", like in psychosis, neither it can be a delusion,
which is an incorrect assessment of a correct perception, nor an illusion, which means
a misleading image. Moreover, one needs a functioning brain for experiencing hallucinations,
delusions or illusions. Additionally, even people blind from birth have reported veridical
perceptions during NDE and OBE.

Based on several NDE-studies it seems inevitable to conclude that veridical perception
is possible independently of brain function.
In my lecture I will give several examples of
veridical perceptions during NDE, and discuss the differences between seeing with the
eyes during waking consciousness (who is seeing? what is seeing?) and perceiving during
the period of a non-functioning brain ('apparent unconsciousness during clinical death').

Mellen-Thomas Benedict is an artist who survived a near-death experience in
1982.

Because of his near-death experience, he was able
to bring back scientific discoveries. Mr. Benedict has been closely involved in the
mechanics of cellular communication and research dealing with the relationship of light to
life called Quantum Biology. This research is providing dramatic new perspectives on how
biological systems work. Mr. Benedict has found that living cells can respond very quickly
to light stimulation resulting in, among other things, high speed healing. He is a
researcher, inventor and lecturer who holds six U.S. patents.

I am interested in Mellen-Thomas Benedict's invention:
THE ULTRASPA LIGHT THERAPY SYSTEM
using 290 Next Generation LEDs in three different wavelengths.
- Red 680nm: Beauty, Vitality, Rejuvenation, Energy
- Blue 420nm: Mood, Sleep, Relaxation and Jet-Lag
- Near Infrared 850nm: Inflammation and Pain Relief

- Theta 5 BrainWave Entrainment™ for deep relaxation.

On the http://ultraspalighttherapy.com/ this portable device is not available until November 2013.
The device is not cheap.
I am reluctant to pay the pre-order price USA $522 - $588 without any recommendation
and review from a user of this type of phototherapy technology.

Has anyone experienced this type of technology in application?  :?
Please share your experiences, efficacy and results.  :-)
I am particularly interested in the 'Theta 5 BrainWave Entrainment™' feature
and speculate whether it can facillitate phasing.

I have found some technical information regarding Phototherapy:

[0003] Phototherapy involves generation of light by suitable light sources, such as light emitting diodes (LEDs) in the visible and infrared ranges to provide various benefits for a patient's body. The photons produced are absorbed by the body through the skin, the eyes and acupuncture points. Connective tissues in the body conduct the light to deeper tissues and organs. By taking advantage of optical properties of biological tissues, suitable wavelengths of light can be delivered to, absorbed by and used by the body to activate metabolic functions.

[0029] Only light in certain wavelength ranges will be transported efficiently through these channels. Absorption of light transported in one or more of these channels has the potential to increase cell metabolism from a depressed state to a normal level. Light in the 600-800 nm wavelength range appears to be transported with little absorption or scattering within these channels. Sergei Pankratov, of the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Novosibirsk, Russia, has reported that marked light transporting properties of some of these channels, which easily transport light into tissues deeper within the body, "Meridians Conduct Light", Raum und Zeit, vol. 35(88) (1991) pp. 16-18. A terminus on the skin of such a channel often coincide, with an acupuncture point identified by Chinese physicians several millenia ago. In addition to its optical properties, a light transport channel has associated thermal properties, such as heat conductivity and heat capacity.

[0030] Phototherapy activates cell membranes within the body by increasing a membrane's natural electrical charge, sometimes referred to as "membrane capacitance." A body's natural electromagnetic field ("biofield") aids in organizing molecular structures in repair, regeneration and reproduction of cells and cell components and serves as a signal communication system in regulation of metabolic processes. The biofield may also serve as a power grid to provide electrical and/or chemical energy to drive and control biochemical and biphysical enzyme reactions that are part of a metabolic process. One such process is: (1) receipt and conversion of light in a channel; (2) activation of cell enzymes; and (3) enhanced production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) from the activated enzymes, as the primary energy source for a body.

[0031] One researcher, Tiina Karu has determined that light absorption by cellular structures enhances a number of cell-related activities: cell replication, cell metabolism, protein synthesis, ATP production, mitochondria replication, phagocytosis, and photodissociation of oxygenated hemoglobin (The Science of Low-Power Laser Therapy, Gordon and Breach, 1998, "Photobiology of Low Power Laser Effects", Health Physics, vol. 56, May 1989). Karu has also found that absorption of light affects tissue-related activities, including: capillary formation, parasympathetic nervous system stimulation, increased endorphin release, increased production and release of adrenal steroids, reduction in pain and in inflammation, reduction of tissue edema, immune system stimulation, enhanced fibroblastic production and collagen synthesis, and accelerated healing of wounds.

Michelangelo was a religious man, but he was also a scientist.

But, paint the brain he did, even if it was just an outline of the brain in the section of the
Sistine Chapel depiction of the Creation of Adam.

Michaelangelo's painting of the 'Creation of Adam' in the Sistine Chapel:
First identified by Meshberger in 1990.

Recently, two Johns Hopkins University neurologists did further study of Sistine Chapel frescoes
and found more anatomical depictions in the fourth panel of the series
The Separation of Light From Darkness.

The fourth panel, showing God in the 'Separation of Light From Darkness'
depicts a ventrel view of the brainstem: images by authors Ian Suk and Rafael Tamargo, via Neurosurgery

Suk and Tamargo present very convincing evidence that, though the brain and brain stem
are camouflaged, Michelangelo was really attempting to teach -
first by alluding to God using his brain to create Adam and then,
a year later, to include the brain stem so obviously in the Separation of Light and Darkness.
Was Michelangelo suggesting that it is the brain that separates light from darkness?

The authors provide plenty of evidence for their theories.
Look, for example, at the portraits of the other characters in Separation of Light From Darkness
They are all turned in the same direction as God, but only God has the brain.
Further, Suk and Tamargo show how strange it is that God's beard
is not flowing, but rolled up.  For the purpose of revealing the brain?

The Concealed Neuroanatomy in Michelangelo's Separation of Light From Darkness
in the Sistine Chapel,  published in Neurosurgery http://journals.lww.com/neurosurgery/Fulltext/2010/05000/Concealed_Neuroanatomy_in_Michelangelo_s.1.aspx
is fascinating if you are interested in the history of art, the history of science,
and/or the history of the Church.

I think it would be like waking up from the most intense dream but on an unimaginable scale.

Where you come out of it and was so wrapped up in it.. believing every morsel of it while it was happening only to realise you went through the whole thing having forgotten who you really are.. it contained elements of YOU but you forgot you were a being of consciousness and that you signed up for it in the first place to learn another lesson.

you simply react and interact with the conditions of that scenario. The dream enhances learning in PMR'

My direct experiences support the above observations.

I can recall having died/checked out from several intense dreams.

The below is my favourite exit.

Intense Dream: Joy Ride & Air-borne

Experience: First person, PMR

Scene: Suburbia streets of India [have not yet travelled to India in main focus PMR]

Time: Feels like current day India, starts off in daylight, ends at night.

Characters: 2 mid-20s Indian men [I am an Indian man in the dream time-story-context],
1 indian woman [bride-to-be of my best friend], 3 of her brothers.

Story: [Daylight, afternoon] My best friend was going to get [arranged] married soon.
I did not like his parents choice for him.
[I don't know why I don't like her, my character had his reasons]
Saw his bride-to-be on the side of the street, preparing to lift a big pot of curry stew into her car
to deliver to her catering customer.
Being both pranksters we took advantage of her preoccupation with her other food stuff,
I grabbed her pot and placed it into my sedan [car] and drove off.
She contacted her three brothers; they gave chase.
We sped away.
[Night] When I drove into a street full of apartments, I decided to drive up to the third floor
of an apartment with a red fascade to elude the persuers.
Her three brothers in another sedan found us.
I looked at my best-friend, we telempathically communicated; he nodded his head in assent.

Exit Strategy: I put my foot on the pedal to the floor and accelerated at top speed off the third story.
No pain.
The experienced indescribable delight, exhilarating feeling of being air-born was so worth it  :-D.

Post-Exit: Blackness. Wakeup to current PMR [another dream  ].

 Possible Lessons:
- Drive off tall building to be momentarily air-borne  :-D
- Pranking can result in above/death in dream.
- Do not treat life so seriously.
- Pranking can be fun.
- Be wary of pranking woman with 3 brothers.
- Food is a serious business.
- The number three is an important no. Recurring theme: Trinity
- Story = fable and/or building. Both has multiple levels/meanings.

Dr. Pim van Lommel, M.D.:
Continuity of Consciousness -
Conclusion

Quote
According to our concept, grounded on the reported aspects of consciousness experienced during cardiac arrest, we can conclude that our consciousness could be based on fields of information, consisting of waves, and that it originates in the phase-space. During cardiac arrest, the functioning of the brain and of other cells in our body stops because of anoxia. The electromagnetic fields of our neurons and other cells disappear, and the possibility of resonance, the interface between consciousness and physical body, is interrupted.

Such understanding fundamentally changes one's opinion about death, because of the almost unavoidable conclusion that at the time of physical death consciousness will continue to be experienced in another dimension, in an invisible and immaterial world, the phase-space, in which all past, present and future is enclosed. Research on NDE cannot give us the irrefutable scientific proof of this conclusion, because people with an NDE did not quite die, but they all were very, very close to death, without a functioning brain.

The conclusion that consciousness can be experienced independently of brain function might well induce a huge change in the scientific paradigm in western medicine, and could have practical implications in actual medical and ethical problems such as the care for comatose or dying patients, euthanasia, abortion, and the removal of organs for transplantation from somebody in the dying process with a beating heart in a warm body but a diagnosis of brain death.

There are still more questions than answers, but, based on the aforementioned theoretical aspects of the obviously experienced continuity of our consciousness, we finally should consider the possibility that death, like birth, may well be a mere passing from one state of consciousness to another.

Note: Anoxia causes loss of function of our cell systems.
In cardiac arrest global anoxia of the brain occurs within seconds.
