In my oppinion laugher is glorification to Life and Good. Only one really free man could laugh honestly and from heart.
When I was reading your quotations I remembered of Umberto Eco's "The name of the rose" - in middle centuries they've been thinking the laugher is something ugly and dangerous, a devil's deal... maybe the chirch just has been afraid of loosing it's power if people feel free enough to laugh at life - it would ruin it's dogmas...[]

They say that astral beings communicate by telepathy - it's really easier and more perfect way of connection. And it's very hard or impossible to hide your real nature[] I often have empathy, more rare telepathy, but in both cases I think it's a matter of mental adjustment - if you're mooded in high frequency your abilities are more sensitive and it's easier to acheive the states we're talking about. Sometimes it's hard for me to distinguish telepathy from empathy - when I look at someone I get an imformation about them, sometimes I "catch" a "thought" which seems more like emotion - a quick vibration...it's not a vision, it's not a word - it's more like a signal, impulse that lets me know the passing person's emotions... But it's very messed and confusing most of the time.
And it's definitely easier to acheive telepathy with a person who's physicly "opened", who's on your "frequency".
I'm afraid I can't say anything more about that right now - I sense things, but I can't explain them[:I] I'm still working at it and I have a lot to learn...

Just like you(and like everyother person) I've been leaning towards light and dark - and I've made my choice. I think it's normal human's reaction to defence themselves, but it's sometimes needed to sacrifice something in the sake of another more worthful and important thing. And that's the point - we have free choice just to decide what to do and where it will lead us in the end...because still the truth is only one[] I prefer to sacrifice my Ego-self in the sake of my soul...you see : not defending my ego I defend my soul - it's like to give up the qween just to safe the king in chess.

[]Of couse everyone should choose their best way - if you feel something is right for you so it'll be like this, it'll lead you to some lesson you should learn I suppose. But my lessons are different and I prefer to exist in states of mind which don't contain negative emotions. And you know - state like this isn't polar for me - on the contrary - that's the real balance in my oppinion. Emotions are proections of Ego and it's on lower level than soul. So, if we could release ourselves from base emotions we'll be able to rise higher.

And why should one do something that isn't necessary: I mean if I could protect myself from slapping I don't think I have to slap the other person after that. Or if I'm already hurt I won't feel better when I hurt the other - the opposite - I'll feel worst.
And Lockmar - how're you? I'm afraid we couldn't help you a lot with our argues... Did you manage to deal with the summoner?

Ok, more seriously: I've been thinking about animals and babies also -how do they perceive the world... Well, in my oppinion babies are more good in astral travelling than us - their soul is still remembering of previous lifes (it's proved even with kids who speak foreign languages and tells of their "other" family). Maybe a part of the baby is still existing more in the other world than in ours... Hmmm I've wondered what they dream about while sleeping...and I've tried telepathing with my little niece and my cat - sometimes I get goose bumps.[:I] I may say it somehow works...the baby looks at me with one wise and serious eyes - I'm sure they still can see the astral - their brain works with different vibrations than adults' ones - that's why it's more easy to hypnotise kid than grown up person.
And the animals - they have souls also - but "little" souls... Heh - right now my cat is dreaming on the bed - I really want to know of what!

I read(and I said it another topic) that the astral body takes some matter from the material one when it's going out - if the "double" takes too much "heavy" and slowly vibrating matter it couldn't move through solid objects. Astral body in jeneral is less vissible and moving through objects just because it has much higher vibrations than our physicle body. So, you could try to raise your vibration, but not too much cause if your astral body gets less matter it'll loose it's shape. And please,be careful with the experiments, you shouldn't force anything.

According to another book by Jean Prieur there are proves that one could die if their double is killed. And the astral body isn't something non-material - it's just made from another kind of matter which has too high and fast vibrations and that's why it's almost (or completely) invissible and could pass through more hard objects with slower vibrations(walls, doors etc.). When the double goes out of the physicle body it takes some matter from it - if the matter is too much it couldn't pass through solid objects.
And they say that the double will go to astral levels it belongs - I mean that if your soul's eyes are open enough you could go everywhere...otherwise you could wander in lower levels where the vissions aren't so pleasant. But you're right - these negative projections can't hurt you if you're positive tuned.

I'm sorry I'm answering to that topic so late...I just saw it now for the first time[:I]
I'm vegetarian and I feel good indeed like this. I've always hated eating meat - heh when I was little my parents forced me to eat "properly", but I was spitting out all the meat[] I don't like eating fish either. And as I'm not vegan I can eat cheese and drink milk, but I just forget about that and it seems I don't have the need of taking any sort of that food either. So, I prefer to eat cooked vegetables and fruits - sometimes I don't have the will to eat at all.

According to the circumstances and the emotion the aura could contract or expand. There aren't two equal auras - the variations of colours and combinations are uncountable. Every colour has possitive and negative meanings. There are so much nuances that could combine one with another and on the background of one colour there can be projected another colours in shapes of points,spots, stripes, clouds, waves, fringles, erupts, bloomings or somekind of lightnings. Depression and bad mood make the aura turbid, good emotions and love make it shine and pure.
Except the spectral colours there are some others: brown, grey, white, black, silver and gold aura vibrations.
It's very complicated because of the double meanings of the colours and the endless nuances and combinations, but in that case the intuition helps a lot - even you can't see auras yet.[]

The argue about religions is endless and useless – it's like to argue about different flavours of bonbons when all of them have the same nut in them . And I don't try to press my believes on anyone. As I said everyone will find the truth sooner or later walking on their personal paths.
With all my respect, but I can't agree with using the Force to hurt someone. I think it's better just to protect myself enough to stay unhurt, but I don't want to become aggressive and to revenge. If you can see auras – imagine how awful it becomes when one feels anger – that pollute the aura and makes it less pure. They say:" Every deed contains it's consequences like the acorn contains the oak-tree".
And it's really not important if "the enemy" will think I'm weak as I don't want to be aggressive – it's more important for me to keep my mind and hands clean.

Adinaut, religions are just a try to understand the Truth, which is only one. You're made with the ability of free choice and it's up to you which path you'll follow. You can search for the truth and no matter where you see it (in Christianity, Buddhism, druidism, magic, in a simple flower or in other person's eyes and etc, and etc.) you will feel that's the truth. In the higher levels the shapes and the names don't matter at all.
Do you think it's wise to return to one evil with other evil? Forget bout the religions – just ask your soul: won't you draw yourself lower by doing this, wouldn't it start one wicked circle where everyone returns to the other with bad – until we kill every positive emotion in us?!... Do you think the purpose of the Universe is us to be selfish and revengeful creatures? I don't need any religion to understand that making bad isn't the right choice.
In my opinion if Lockmar is attacked he should just protect himself without doing harm – and the attacker's evil will reflect and return to it's sender.

I agree with Volcomstone - any negative reaction you make is going to reflect back on you. Karma's laws are very strict and fair - they just sometimes seem complicated to us cause one isn't always as wise enough to understand the point(still we're just people)...and we should be careful bout everything we think and do...and not do in the same time.

Lockmar, it might not be coincidence you're dealing with that person -maybe you both should learn something from eachother...Please, try to acheive the best thing that situation gives you.

Lockmar, I just came across these days to one book: "psychic self-defence" by Dion Fortune - I hope you'll find some good tips there which could help you.

And I've heard that one can protect yourself as they contract their Aura until it become like hard blue shield...But I have to tell you that this could be dangerous cause it takes a lot of your power and you just can't use that shield long time - otherwise it will suck your energy. One should use it only if it's emergency situation.

It might have been something more than ordinary dream...You know, some people believe that one could reincarnate into animal or even plant. That's why they don't eat anything coming from animals(meat, eggs, cheese and etc.) cause according to their believes killing and eating and using living creatures makes bad Karma to them and they're going to suffer in their next life... I understand and respect that - so I'm vegetarian also[] but I think that if we're up to this present level of ours we should go only higher and I'm not quite sure if we could reincarnate in animals in future...Of course, everything's possible - it's going to happen exactly this which is necesarily with accordance with our Karma[]

In my oppinion the soul remembers everything during IT'S life (that includes all our lifes). In jeneral we aren't supposed to remember our previous lifes cause it somehow could prevent us from learning our present "lessons". But there are moments when one could glance in the past - it's possible it to happen just before dying - why not? In few seconds when your body and mind are in shock you're able to see your whole present life, and why not some of your previous? These few seconds are enough cause you exist already in another time different from ours...

There are other ways to see past life of yours - while you're hypnotised or having an OBE (or during "dreaming" when you're somehow acheived your soul-state). Years ago I had one so weird dream that I remember till today. I still think that I was remembering past life of mine or I was somehow messed my astral body in other person's life and I was looking through their eyes...

They say everything that happens from the every begining of Universe is recording. So, if you're trained enough (or have good hypnotist) you could see them. Of course sometimes it happens just by chance... I'm afraid I'm not not good enough yet and most of my experiences were by chance...[:I]

There's a place in the Universe where everything, every single vibrating of a tree leaf or every single our thought and act is "recording"...Someone tells these are Akasha's records but I think it doesn't matter where or how it happens - it's important that it exists.

And if one could really look through their soul's eyes all that imformation could be seen...in that way some people see things in the past or the present (and even the future) just in their thoughts...

Heh and I think it's better that our brains are constructed in such a way(for everything there is logical explanation) cause otherwise it'll be harder for us to change and develop.

They say:" The thruth is like the art - it depends on the visual point". Well, as the Truth (about everything and the whole Universe) is only one - it could be seen of thousands and thousands different view points. Math is one of them. It doesn't fit to my kind of thinking so I use my intuition, but in the end we're both right - unless we follow the proper paths. There are just so many ways to come near to Truth that in the end the ways and means don't matter: you could believe in any religion, to use any possible methods and it's ok if it leads you into the right direction. Still our souls are similar to each other...

And if wellknown Math fits to our 3D world it might exist another Math in higher dimensions - 4D, 5D and etc. but we just can't take it with our little human brains[] Maybe the technique for using it is complitely different?!...

I don't have much experiense of having OBE - it happened just a couple of times by itself and I still can't understand the exact texnique of achieving that state...but I keep trying. []

In my oppinion when you get out of your body you already exist in another dimension and being in it you are able to see the lower dimensions(our material world). Now I'm reading one book about the Aura and the Immortal body ( Jean Prieur " l'aura et le corps immortel"). After finishing it I could try to express my impressions of it in one topic here.
