I saw a psychology program awhile back on dreaming they showed at one university they made a person wear goggles and they knew when they were in REM sleep and then cued the person with flashing light and the person was aware after they were dreaming and was able to control the dream.  I now see a website that is now offering goggles called dreamlight the article is here at http://www.lucidity.com/DreamLight_Validity.txt and induced 33 times over 58 nights and even improved the days a person was not using the goggles at all.  Just curious anyone has done this experimenting before?

I went to the health store and purchased some gotu kola it's used for anxiety/stress and sharpen the mind, in india it's used for meditation because it relaxes you a lot while keeping you awake.  Boy does this stuff really relax you, I was lying in my bed and either I fell asleep or during one of my sleep/rem dreams I was aware of me being asleep and in my bed and was able to astral project, this is after second day taking the herb and I didn't do any exercises whatsoever just was aware I was in my bed and just got out of but I was stuck to my body so I just said I can loosen this and it losened and I got out then I couldn't see I said I could see now and I was able to see.  They also call this herb in india bramhi which means the best of the best for meditation/relaxation.

Really annoying at the same time amazing i'm able to be doing these virtual type obe's, they're like lucid dreams but at the same time I wonder if I really initiated them and then afterwards turned into a virtual/lucid dream instead.  I always see myself in the bed then do an obe or get out of my bed sort of thing walk around but it's not 100% the real world but feels like it.  Whats wild is I'm not putting a big effort in obe just spending 30mins or so everyday on the N.E.W. technique doing some affirmations to energize my body (physical healing) afterwards, and the essential oils/aromatherapy are whats energizing the body big time (more oxygen to the brain electricity through the body).  I'm just wondering why so many lucid virtual obe's and not one of them atleast turn out to be the real thing yet?  Does the body have to relax even more and need more energy to produce the real one?

I had a really weird AP or was it a dream?  It looked like the real thing, I was in my bed I felt the vibrations all over my body big time, then I did just once outside awareness of myself and close my eyes then felt myself fly out of my body hit the ground, then I did the unmask of eyes or say I can see then I was able to see then I stepped out of my room the color was different like when you put the color more sharp (darker), then I moved outside over my house then went into my mom's room saw my mom in bed (she wakes up early in morning) she spoke to me though which is weird I showed her my hand was going through the wall, then I went into my body and woke up but it was 2pm in afternoon my mom wasn't even at home, was my mind playing tricks on me (ie was I really AP'ing or was I virtual AP'ing like robert bruce like to put it) it just look all so real, I had full control of this dream but it had to be a dream unless I was talking with my mom's astral body and wasn't aware of it and wasn't able to get back to my body until I woke up 2pm in the afternoon? Weird, amazing though but weird because I can't put my finger if this was the real thing or my mind playing tricks on me or maybe it's signifying the future that I may be able to do all this (I never had the heavy vibration all over my body before).

I've recently bought robert's bruce astral dynamics, and I believe I'm actually or near projecting or blind projecting?  The first few weeks I tried projecting I felt my arms hitting the ground from my bed, was just my arms sticking out?  

After the 4th week I came really close or it looked to me like blind projecting, I did the water sky (mostly)/big wheel side/top rope thing.  What happened today after I was doing it for an hour and a half (didn't do any warm up just went straight to projection), I felt like my body levitated above the bed then was shoved off the side of the bed on its own, it was shocking because it was like a REFLEX did it on its own I don't think any astral being did it, then I felt like I hit the ground but couldn't move or see my back feet were still stuck to my body, then I thought in my head might try the rope technique to break out as I was doing it, I started to hear for few seconds radio type sounds like tuning out of radio stations, then I broke free and was walking and felt objects in front of me and I knew I could pass through them so I walked through it with little resistance and felt a tingling sensation on the bottom part of my body that was touching it, the only problem to all of this is I was still blind I didn't see anything only could feel things like a blind person and second my astral body felt real like a physical body and I didn't hear no buzzing sounds/vibration sounds like they say you're supposed to feel/hear when you break free?  So what happened did I do a astral projection or could you call this a partial projection?  Just really weird because I felt as though I was free but still couldn't see anything but it felt real objects and such in front of me.  After ten seconds i got worried I better get back to my body or else I may forget this, then I just starting feeling myself,looking at myself and then I opened my eyes in my bed.

why did I levitate and was thrown off the bed was it because of the water sky technique caused the reflex that way? water sky technique I feel myself pushing my whole body out of the bed to the edge of the bed and feel as though I'm standing straight, and taking notice that my body is back behind me lying down on the bed (thats how you're supposed to do it I suppose?) also the big wheel feel I'm going up with something a push upwards also a feeling I'm up above my body then feeling I'm high enough to have that scary heights feeling in stomach (force it so it would look real) then I feel moving above/forward then I feel I'm in front of my body then I feel I go back and get back to my body again thats the feelings I keep running in my mind when doing the big wheel exercise, the feeling and position I'm at.

am I close to a real projection since my first week I felt only my arms hit the ground of the bed, this time after 4 weeks my whole body hit the bottom of the bed and was able to break free?

what else can I do to get true astral projection with being able to see things, I know I have to do the exercise with a blank mind/closed eyes just simulating feelings is there anything else I could when I reach this stage again when I get out of my body am free but still blind?

really sucky projection, nice to be able to see things but amazing that I got this far in only a short time though.  some people take years to achieve their goal.  Or is my mind playing games on me?  Was I really projecting felt like I was feeling things around me and I wasn't making them up.

I also burn incenses sandalwood and mugwort I heard sandalwood is excellent for meditation and mugwort is good for astral when I do any meditation exercise.  sandalwood is amazing in that it does create bioelectric energy on its own without meditation so on top of the NEW system that creates even more energy and directs the energy throughout the body, it's a plus I think.

how long did you last in the astral with this method and second how much aware were you in the astral?  last time i recalled astral projecting while going to sleep late at night when already tired i didn't last long and i did not have much control cause my mind was too tired.  I think the best chances i had was when sleeping 5hours and wakeup wash face stay awake 30mins doing awareness then going back to sleep keeping mind on one thing i would only be successful if i keep my mind on close to one thing and nothing else then you will realize you are falling asleep and still have your awareness.

its possible ive met two people in my lifetime that could astral project both at the same time in the same room next to each other after someone says to look at his finger and bam they fall asleep but mind awake.  basically they can fall into trance fast, I think with time and practice you can probably do the same theres is no quick method though at the beginning.

it maybe i had to stop with it after few months, it was messing with my sex drive ie if i had sex before i would do it i would have super pain in the head soon as i stopped is subsided 50%, then after a year i'd say now it has fully subsided (thank goodness) I think I know what causes this it's like a forceful way to get energy in the head or certain areas in head thats why it backfires and you get pain the best way is natural way ie learn to do trance/awareness stuff.  But in some people it doesn't backfire at all they can ap from it.  I would of really liked to use it cause i had one experience once from it and it was at a very high level state but after it caused pain in the head it wasn't worth it.

if you consider mind awake body asleep an altered state then ok, but we all astral project every night just that we are not awake or aware we are in the astral or dream world (lucid dreaming).

#1. keeping your mind on one thing without it rarely being distracted or interrupted with another thought, if your mind keeps rambling chances are you will not astral project when you fall asleep.

#2. body and mind relaxed either you can do it at will with practice or doing the sleep technique ie sleep 6hours wakeup wash face do some awareness stare at object for 20mins go to sleep with one thought. This also helps with #1 relaxed body/mind meaning no stress less thoughts better concentration.

#3. theres a second way to astral project they are called koans, which means having no thought gets you in the astral even faster, you pick a scenario where there is no solution to the answer try to solve it mind silences itself keep your mind on that one thing you will astral project not only that maybe even go to the next plane above it the causal plane (spirit world).  example of a koan is you hanging by a rope on a tree by your teeth hands/arms tied behind back and the tree is hanging over a cliff now how are you gonna get out?  or what is the sound of one hand clapping so you try out scenarios ie swing or imagine one hand clapping then wait for an answer then if mind keeps rambling keep doing a scenario again so you keep your mind preoccupied with a no solution answer.

i think the reason why the dungivachit method works because it's similar to the duality method ie a thought enters and you negate it by substitute a thought that is the opposite to neutralize it.  the dunagivachit does the same thing but having no attachment to it and thus neutralizing it.

i like the koans that you visualize or imagine you are in that situation you are hanging on a tree by your teeth with the rope on your teeth, tree is on the ledge of a cliff hands/arms tied behind back then you say how you get out of this and you keep swinging hoping answer will come.  two things i heard that help you with koans one you can astral project CONSCIOUSLY no joke i have ap'd consciously with koans and second if your mind can stay silent for a longer time then you can go above the ap plane which is the causal plane (spirit world).

When I was taught it they referred to them as koans but I understand that is probably the proper pronounciation in the zen/chan practice.  They're pretty good and work very well, they also help you get to the causal plane which is above the astral ie the spirit world i have yet to go to the causal plane yet but i guess if one keeps practicing their koan they may get there. Now I hear in zen there is something even more powerful than koans called silent illumination, I am not ready to go to that stage yet cause the prequisites have to be that you are very very calm I guess after doing regular meditation.

only time i use the rope technique is when i know i am in my astral body and can move a bit but not enough to get out or if i am stuck to my body in other words and can't get out it helps a lot.  basically keeping your mind on one thing helps you astral project the best is koans ie give your mind an answer it can't answer and it will silence keep doing it and you may fall asleep (trance) and then feel falling sensation then afterwards just walk out that simple. examples are what is the sound of one hand clapping so you wave one hand see just wind, another is hanging with your teeth on a tree over a cliff with hands/legs tied up and just swing around and expect an answer.  now if you want to get a taste of the astral just go to sleep 5hours set alarm to wakeup then wash face stay awake then drop to sleep concentrate on one thing be it a koan or the heart or whatever you will literally fall asleep and being aware of the whole process it happens 30% of the time try that out.

this guy believes in reincarnation he says first off satan and bezelbub are not the same entity satan is satan but bezelbub was a person that lived on this earth that was evil.  Long story short, he said there was a master samuel who was an ap'er saw bezelbub in the astral and somehow was able to bring him into the light and he was able to change.  I believe in that just like there are souls in purgatory we have the power on this earth to change their destiny.  He says it himself if you don't believe bezelbub is not evil anymore, go into the astral call upon bezelbub and do the negative entity banishing ritual on it and you will see he's not evil anymore but of the white lodge.  As for the courses they are awesome, I am taking the investigative course and already I had my FIRST conscious ap from it thanks to those two new techniques that he introduced the koan and duality technique which in short (read my other post) silence the mind.  If you don't think its worth the money take his online courses then after buy his book they're the same.  But I'd buy the book just to support the author cause his techniques work and the theory is straightforward as well.   He says it himself if you don't believe in anything I say investigate it yourself in the astral then you will know yourself to be true.

if you can see through your closed eyelids believe me you're practically out all you have to do is SLOWLY crawl out of bed turn around see yourself on the bed or jump up see yourself fall down slowly intead of normal or put your hand through a wall.  if you have difficult coming out just pretend you are grabbing onto something and pulling yourself out of the bed could be the rope technique helps a lot.  if you feel yourself out then you maybe blind just pretend you are rubbing dirt from your eyes, sometimes i felt falling sensation then felt floating soon as i felt floating i crawled out other times but most times i see through closed eyes and just crawl out.

i personally don't like hemisync stuff cause it created too much energy in the brain and i would get head pains when having sex many times especially if i tense in the head.  It maybe good idea to produce more energy and vibrations but i dont think its good for beginners.  what i like so far that gets results is producing lucid dreams which can also be ap's as well (higher level than lucid dreams), but simply going to sleep 5hours wakeup wash face stare at an object keep the mind at one thought for 30mins then drop back to sleep and wakeup in dream or ap for sure by falling asleep and just walking out or wakeup in dream and just stare at an object in dream and shut it down then see through closed eyes and walkout again.  I think the second best thing is putting the mind in trance instead of using this sleep technique, to do that you need to keep your mind at one thing, ie practice awareness internall and what you are seeing externally and not let others thought come into the mind or stare at an object dont let other thoughts enter the mind if they do realise you are not concentrating enough and concentrate more on the object you observe.  Another neat thing is you can buy a gsr2 device for $60u.s (galvanic skin response) notice when you are relaxed or not by skin resistance, or temperature when relaxed its high when not its low they have biodots/temperature meatures, or the best is eeg machines they say if you train to put your mind in alpha brainwaves and stay in alpha for awhile you get lucid dreams more frequently which will also get you to ap a lot as well.  I noticed mindalive.ca sells an abt bioscan they dropped their price to $400cdn/$300u.s which is not bad considering to build your own eeg machine costs $200u.s in parts.  That is probably the only thing i am considering in buying and trying.

lack of concentration causes us to lose awareness I will give example if I do the sleep techniqu3e sleep 5-6hours set alarm to wakeup wash face then do some concentration exercise ie stare at a object close eyes visualize it sometimes, if my mind does not wander that day chances are I will astral project when I drop back to sleep if my mind wanders then there is no chance i will wakeup in my dream or be aware of falling asleep and ap.  so thats the answer to the question.

there is another person that answered the question to the bumping and I can sort of answer your pain as well.  Til you build up your faith in the astral to go through walls you can try this technique it always seems to work, when you are about to go through walls just walk as you are walking through it make the sound SHHHH not SSS while doing it somehow it seems to work everytime.

as for too much pain in back, I had pains in my head when i did body awareness and listening to hemi sync tapes, when i started getting major pains in head especially during sex i stopped the body awareness and listening to hemi sync tapes til everything goes back to normal.  you must be doing some sort of over stimulation to the back suggest you stop stimulating it if you are doing body awareness for example you can do other things instead ie relaxation and/or awareness stuff.

very simple i had the same problem it happens for beginning ap's.  if you feel yourself out get away from the bed if you can the further away from your physical body the astral body vision may kick in afterwards if it does not then try pretending that there is dirt in your eyes preventing you to see and you are removing it by rubbing your eyes that has helped many times.  also good to know robert bruce mentions it is if you happen to eject from your body and part of you is stuck to the physical body pretend you are climbing a rope pulling you away that has helped as well.

swaying anyone can get when they fall asleep.  what you are looking for is the falling sensations followed by floating afterwards or the swaying followed by static noise or some noise that is not there, if any of these two happen then just slowly slide out turn around see yourself on the bed.

mind awake body asleep methods, easiest ones is sleep technique go to sleep about 5hours set clock to wakeup wash your face getup out of bed stay wide awake 30mins then drop back down to sleep chances are you will be 50% of the time awake in your dreams just stare at an object dream shuts down then you will see through closed eyes juwst slowly crawl out.  To improve or make your ap's last longer need to learn to relax, such as practice awareness mysticweb.org teaches it, also robert at astraldynamics teaches as well to relax and how to exit.

there are people who can make people do things there was a hypnotist who came to our school at one time he did some sort of test to see who is hypnotizable most kids were.  he made them do things like he said if you sit on this chair it'll burn you and the guy sat back on the chair and jumped up in pain screaming ooouch.  another guy he said when the audience laughs at you, you will start talking to them not to laugh, another women he told her to strip down a bit, another person she said he'd take someones watch and put it in his pocket, they all did what he told him, afterwards he erased that program from their mind said they will remember in calmness what they did later on in the afternoon (so they don't go into shock, not their fault they did it).  My french teacher beside me who took us to see this guy was saying diabolos hehe don't blame her.  But I did hear something that whatever they hypnotize doesn't last more than a day it goes away since it's not their own thoughts in this.

I want to astral project more and more, knowing the sleep induced method works many times over (ie sleep 5hours wakeup wash face then drop back to sleep, if aware of dreaming stare/do awareness on a fixed object til dream shuts down then slowly crawl out of bed on your dreambody).  But this AP only lasts 30secs or so because my awareness is low, you have to increase awareness for them to last longer and be able to go to places, such as staring at a object/candle and staring/listening/feeling at same time being aware of the environment and inside of you at the same time.  I heard also there is technique to eliminate any ego's that pull you from awareness this is at mysticweb site can't wait to take the esoteric course it's explained the method of abolishing the ego which gets in the way (chatterbox mind you can also call it).

until I can astral project into the center of the earth then I will assume hell does still exist.  To be honest though the very most important thing is your character cause your character is your destiny.  Second to believe in a God that forgives so long as you forgive your enemies or those who done you wrong so the character inside you is forgiving this is from the christian faith.  What I also notice is charity also covers a multitude of sins, I read some books found out that God is called the Uncreated Charity cause he created us out of his love and charity otherwise why would he create us in the first place?.  This is the God I want to be with when I die not the one that condemns you and puts shame and suffering on you.
