Jim,

My purpose for posting this up was to "what-if" the effects on the energy-body, aura, etc.

When someone does cocaine, their auric signature is influenced by greyish colours. Now there are several sources that say this is the deal for all mind-influencing drugs, particularly marijuana which supposedly punctures holes in the auric field, befuddles your energetic-makeup, yadda yadda yadda.

So if this IS the case, then I think it is important for the "adept" to be aware of this. Some people are walking a steady road. Some are walking downhill. And SOME are walking UP a hill. If the above is true, then smoking a joint is equivalent to applying soap to the soles of the uphill walkers, the adept. That is my point for bringing this up.

Marijuana definately has some great uses, medically and psychologically for people who are asleep. But once the person is awake, it may no longer be something that has the same helpful effect. It may be equivalent to trying to fly for a 100 years and realizing that there has been an invisible robe tied to the ground. It depends on the purpose and their karmic-profile, but my reason for bringing this topic up is for those who want to "fly".

Have any good links to websites describing the "Keguel Exercises"?

I don't really enjoy this compilation of Castaneda's works, due to exclusion of the Don Juan dialogue, but I still think it would be good to post it under this thread for those who don't get a chance to grab the actual hard-covered book.

Ady said: "But lets not forget what this forum is all about :-) I would say that the loss of energy (chi) during ejaculation, stimulates energy movement in the body and therefore can help in AP."

Come again? How does losing chi stimulate energy-development?

Since abstaining from masterbation for the last month (to spite runlola), it was hard in the initial weeks, especially when a *&@#ing incubus made me have an unfortunate "accident". But I can certainly say that I am far more clear minded now for partaking in this "not-doing" exercise. I'm striding more towards sexual relations for the purpose of amplification of our electrical-vibrations (and expression of love -- of course...), rather than just hump-hump, wam-bam-thank-you-mam purposes. And I can only look at male-masterbation as an idiotic perverted past-time. Everything that favours it is rubbish. Female-masterbation on the other hand...hmmph. Art-nouveau? [8D] Seriously though, I don't think it is necessarily the same form of energy-depletion in the feminine aspect. This is because the woman is the bearer, the holder of energy rather than seeker. The male chi/essence is concentrated in our ejaculated semen (god, I can't believe this thread has led me to speak with no shame on this subject), and this is for the purpose of creating a friggin life-form. So it makes sense why energy is zipped into an export. I call male masterbation a perversion because I don't think it was ever intended for a man to sit or stand in any areas jerking Mr.One-Eyed-Magic-Johnson like a damn tire-pump. When we do it, we are taking advantage and manipulating ourselves, plain and simple. Yes, it may have relatively well-intended results due to lack of "getting-some" (build up stress/strain), but that doesn't make it reasonable for humanity to redefine the purpose of biology to claim it is natural. It isn't. But what IS natural in our society anyway? Masterbation is just another side-effect from a tweaked out world. If it was up to me, we'd all be running around naked playing "capture the flag" all-day. [;)]

Anyways, with that said:

Fear due to attachments. Egor only likes to gain...aggrandize.

How long does the concentration for the pyramid focus be locked before someone gives up? I lose motivation sometimes and just resort to energy-workouts...

Loved the tale.

I think this subject relates a la "corportate restructuring" or "computer defragment".

Sounds nuts eh?

People lack the knowledge that there are many different "I's" housed under one roof (body). The ego which craves self-worth directs the person to seek out desires. Desires lead to obsessions. This is common with the ego because its craving for self-worth is also a search towards happiness/contentment.

So what is contentment? When someone smokes a joint or has sex or wins a million dollars, what is the ONE thing that is common in all these experiences?!?

Awareness of the Moment, the NOW. When someone is happy, they are focused/magnetized/attracted to being aware of the PRESENT. Not the past and not the future which is the act of seeking externalities to manifest something within.

So my point for saying all of this is that the ego searches down the wrong path. So for the healthy 'adept', it is necessary to take the self, shuffle and identify the myriad of little I's, and reorganize it all in a hierarchy. Higher-self/Intuitional (awareness in the NOW) at the top, Intellectual 2nd, Emotional 3rd, etc. Perhaps I am bunching other 'centers' together, but I think the reader gets what I mean. The ego resides as a personality between the intellectual and emotional centers, so it should still exist beneath the solidified "I" that doesn't change from moment to moment, searching and craving for an externality to focus itself once again towards happiness. Because the search will always be a waste-of-time. Because such a road is in the shape of a circle. Because it all resides from within and not from anything outside. They are only catalysts.

Just some thoughts...

Osho's transcription of Patanjali's Sutras was highly helpful for developing the 'mind-set' for concentration and meditation. I really recommend readers to check it out.

Rastus, you pot-head! :) j/k

runlola, that was precisely the type of info I was seeking. Thanks a lot for supporting the "rotting the etheric" theory with that quote.
#38
Logic, sorry for regurgitating.

And I didn't know that about the scientific-study. That's really good for "table-talk".

Rastus, you better not drown while projecting. [^]

Hmmph, the same threads come back over and over again.

Ah well.

Yes, I believe in indigos. But I consider them the effect of those who are being born with or are transitioning towards additional DNA strands (12-strands in total).

And you're an actress too? Then you'll have a lot of experience from your past-lives to make you a great performer! [8D]

Well, some say the energy is already being transmitted.

Now here's the thing:

Besides for the holes in the ozone layer, the energy is blocked. So as you hear the newscasters rave about the ozone collapsing, the holes are increasing in size, meaning the amount of energy making down to the earth is increasing. So I guess "how soon" can be answered by thinking of a balloon with water in it. The water represents the energy. There's a hole at the bottom of the balloon that is increasing in size, with more and more water spilling out 'progressively'.

The other thing is being able to 'recieve' the energy as intended. I think N.E.W., techniques like Qigong, deep-breathing regulation, etc, all work towards developing the bodies bio-circuitry so that it can absorb, interpret, and activate everything being sent down. Those who are not aware, and hence do not prepare, will probably have a few years before they even feel a thing.

Blackstream gave a good method to lucid-dreaming. Look at your hands repetitively (20, 30, 40, 70, 100 times a day) and you'll make it an unconscious habit. Then you'll do it in your dreams. But in your dreams, your hands melt when you look at them, so you'll realize you are dreaming.

I'm on the same boat as you are. But I have faith this method will work because it is scientifically sound, or so I think. :D
#43
Thanks Birm, this technique definately seems to be for me! :)

I'm very aware of the ringing sound. I was confused on if it was the same thing as others on this forum were describing, but I am sure of it now. I do energy-work every night and the ringing sound comes right away when I'm relaxed on my bed.

I'll try your technique and see how it goes. Thanks again.

<- Experiences tinglings too!

The frontal lobes, third eye, various parts of the body due to N.E.W.

Interesting that you say that the "kundalini" energies are awakening, etc. I live for the tinglings and I'll keep going steady with my efforts to amplify them. I'm pretty sure that N.E.W. applied to the areas on your head encourage, if not directly increase intelligence.

When I raise my energies to a high-enough level, I'm going to create massive psionic balls and shoot them at all of you. Watch out! [}:)]

You heard right runlola.

Arousal through just thinking about an erotic-situation, looking at a picture, watching a video. It's triggered pretty easily.

I do believe that regular masterbation is definately a wasteful activity...but isn't it also 'necessary' to be done (if not in a sexual relationship with another)?

Like when someone doesn't release sexual energies for weeks, the build-up becomes very apparent and sometimes tense. Dreams are filled with erotica and in the morning it is one of the main things on the (male) mind. I'm speaking of 20-year old male archetype.

So should it still be done, for health, or should it be ignored altogether? The recommendations on this subject have been of mixed-responses, contrary to each other at times.

Focus on N.E.W., rhythmic breathing, Qigong-like stretching, and meditation, and those types of abilities manifest by your very intent.

Unfortunately those who ask for 'quickies' aren't usually ready for such abilities in the first place. Excluding black-magic and the Brotherhood of the Serpent 'type', supernatural abilities come to the wise, humble, and experienced. And to be one of those guys/gals takes time and effort, in this life, the last, or the next.

Definately a good read.
