I Finally found someone who gives some insight on Heartbeating in a clear way.
If someone's having the same problem and need some suggestions as to what that might be, you can check it out here :

Welcome to the astralpulse majic , and thank you for those good intentions :)

Even though you're saying there are only 6 or 7 members who are experienced,  probably more members have experienced their first obe, so they can probably help the new guys who are still strugling with this.
Other members have already met their guide, so they can probably help the guys who can OBE but having a hard time making contact with a guide...And so on.

Most of the questions I asked were pretty much answered and the answers generally helped my progress and my understanding of things, but many times I'd start reading an interesting post, and at some point the Poster asks something and doesn't get an answer, most of these times that question is also one of my questions.Hoping you get my emphasis :).

Hello,
Not trying to diss on the actual moderators here , they are doing a pretty awesome work.
It's just that a lot of questions stay unanswered for days , I'm sure everyone has a life and can't be always available, so why not bring up some more experienced people ? Not really to moderate the forums since everyone seems pretty cool, but more to always have at least one or two members who can guide us newbies.

I'm saying this as a " Forum Management " point , from my experience, great forums have constant great support available.

Cheers

Let me google that for you :
A Diamond Jubilee is a celebration held to mark a 75th anniversary of a monarch / queen . . The Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, celebrated on 2 June, 2012, was only the second in the country's history.

I don't really see any relation between the two

Awesome stuff, can't wait to get the skills to do that :D

@Contenteo :
QuoteThe difference between F10 and F12 is that you shut down your visual cortext. You start relaying more on information streams other than the blackness on the back of your eyelids.
Thank you for that, got that written down .

@Szaxx : Your post cleared up a lot of things for me, I will be trying again in 10 minutes.Haven't had the courage since yesterday.

I still have a question though : Has anybody experienced the sudden heartbeat rate change ? I can't really figure a " positive " way to interpret that fast beating, so it's kinda scaring me a bit. Would you suggest any ?

Same here for radiohead's OK Computer

Welcome

I totally get what you are saying, I think this what I've been doing but not on purpose.I think I'm really starting to get the process.
When you say :
Quote. The best is a jump to F21 and you're out.
What's a " jump " ? How can I jump from my physical body when I'm in that deep F10 ?
Also do you think it is possible to " jump " , while being in a position other than a sleeping position , like legs crossed ect ?

I don't think the tape matters much, Boxed Nirvana is a pretty relaxing tape, nothing more, I prefer it over monroe's tapes because it doesn't have any voices.
I'm starting to believe that breathing is the key to make progress.
Those are just suggestions, as I said on my post I'm still new to all of this :), let's wait and see what experienced members have to say about it
#37

I was browsing through the forum while listening to boxed nirvana just to get a bit calmer, at some points I got relaxed and decided I'd try and do some work, that was halfway boxed nirvana .
this time I sat in the crossed legs position rather than laying in bed like I usually did for the past ( first ) week of my practice. I started with some breathing , and imagined i'm breathing green energy through my nose into my head, and releasing whatever else is still there through my mouth ( or nose sometimes ) , after that I tried getting that energy from my head to precise locations of my body , started with my hands , then my feet , those are starting to get prrety easy to do. Then I tried trying to send it to my crotch ( I believe that's the scientific term in english ? ) which didn't really work at first, I kept doing that until I felt I had enough energy , I visualized a white energy aura on me, just a small white line glowing, at that point I didn't know what to do next, so I just did nothing ,I don't think I was listening to the tape anymore , I saw some things in the 3D darkness which I don't really remember, just flashes and pictures ( is it weird that I never remember those pictures ?  ).
Anyway I remember at some point I was feeling pretty good and somehow got the idea to start saying  stuff like : I want to go out of my body, Help me guide, I would be very pleased to meet you, pull me out of my body , I want to discover the astral word.
I haven't really read stuff on auto suggestions because I believed somehow that I wouldn't need that, it's just not a " tool " I'm used to use in life in general. So I think that I was truly meaning what I was saying not just trying to trick my mind into doing something by suggesting it.

Anyway here's the awesome ( mindblowing for me ) part :
While saying those phrases, I felt some energy concentrate on my feet without me provoking it, I thought that it was because I was sitting on them for probably quite a while so I just kept repeating those phrases. And out of nowhere that same energy started going up from my feet to my legs to my crotch ( at that moment I realised it was something new for me ) , to the top of my head. As it passed my chest , my heart started beating freakishely fast in a second ( As I was doing the breathing steadily for probably more than 30 minutes , I was in touch with my heart's beating before and when that happenned, so I easily noticed the transition). It went on beating more faster , and at some point I wouldn't say I got scared but I had to open my ( physical ) eyes, I don't know why I did that.I closed them quickly after that and kept the sensation going for a while, it got more intense on my head after that for a minute, I wouldn't say something was trying to pull me up from my head, since I don't really what that feels like, but i'm secretely hoping that's the case.

I would love some insight on that, this was my most interesting experience.
About my astral " skills " : I do not have any, I was able to lucid dream when I was in High school , but didn't really master it, had some fun and moved on.That's all, it's been about a month since I started reading this excellent forum, and just got the monroe book delivered this morning :D . I feel like I'm making huge progress, and looking forward to keep doing that.

Thanks for the support and the time :).

@Major TOm : Thanks for the link, im beginning to see why more experienced people go with other methods than the binaural beats.
I just finished reading, I'm having a hard time understanding this part :
Quotelet it all go and allow yourself to fall asleep naturally with the knowledge and conviction that you will wake up later on.
Does that mean that I'm supposed to sleep " normally ", then wake up at some random point of the night, THEN try to trigger the OBE state ?

The way I see/saw things is : The OBE state is triggered just BEFORE the " normal " sleep state, since I took the habit of going from focus 1  to focus 3 to focus 10 then focus 12...Not Focus 1 to sleep to focus 10 to focus 12...
I don't know if I'm explaining myself well enough, please don't hesitate to say if I'm not.

In a more general sense : Do we go deeper in focus levels from F1 to F+00  ( :-D ) whatever the method is, or does each method have it's own " order " ?

Cheers :)

Great thread, I think I just got to F10 for the first time.
I've been listening for some weeks to WAVE 1 ( mostly track 2 ) of monroe's gateway, from the first time I had some nice " new " feelings and I didn't bother insisting on them, as long as the feeling was new to me I was pretty happy with the experience.
As OP said, levels of focus are a pretty blurry notion, before reading this thread( like 2 hours ago ) I didn't know what FOCUS 10 actually felt like.
So after getting the idea of it ( Thanks to Op and everybody in the thread ), I decided I'd try again, since I only slept like 4 hours last night it could be different. The first time, I had the usual tinglings, some ( not lasting ) hypnagogic images and a nice feeling of content. Though this time I didn't feel the time passing, the track ended pretty quickly. So I take a 5 min break and try again and that time I couldn't feel a lot of my limbs, I couldn't tell where my arms and legs are positions , I was still feeling my head and shoulders though, stayed that way a while with some more images floating through ( I'm getting the crying baby a lot, which scares me a bit ) and then about 3 minutes before the end of the track I started vibrating ( If my definition of vibrating is the correct one, i'm still not sure ) , that was the first time I had that steady vibration going for more than 5 secondes, it went on for like 2 minutes with stop/restart vibrations everytime I lost focus.
Didn't go further than that, but as always I 'm really enjoying every experience of those whatever the result is, it doesn't bore me at ALL and i'm usually bored pretty quickly.

Thank you for taking the time to read, I also have a question if anyone could give some insight :

- On the monroe's gateway tapes, am I supposed to do a track then stop then do the next, or should I do one after the other ? I actually tried listenning to track after track , but everytime a new one starts, the 7 seconds sound which every track starts with startles me everytime, I can't stand that sound or understand what kind of value does it add to the tapes ? It's not even in the " mood ", it sounds too " electronic "  :? .

Thanks :)

Hey,
thanks for the honest answers.I actually think I do have the will to do that, problem is, while i'm " doing that " , I can't really do anything else.Let me give you an example, I haven't smoked ( or seen any friends ) since 4 days ago, I have a lot of work to do but I didn't really do it , I spent those 3 days " trying not to smoke  / not to think about it " , even though I succeeded, my work is still not done. That's where I tought the meditation would help get the thought out of my mind so I can focus on other things. On the other hand, my body feels kinda different , less sleepy.I'm gonna try and keep that going .

Thanks again .
Cheers

Thanks for the links lionheart :).Nice.

Is there any IRC Chat here ?

Thanks for the warm welcome people  :-D
@GreyTraveller : Could you share some ? I couldn't find any as good as thespiritscience series

Hello,
I've been a heavy smoker for too long now ( relatively speaking ) , I decides some months ago to permanently stop, but I just couldn't, I'd stop for a week or two but sooner or later I find myself rolling a blunt again. The fact that everybody around me smokes a lot probably helps too.

Anyway, I know that weed is not that hard of a drug and I probably could get myself to stop if excluded myself for some time and dealt with my demons the hard way.But I just can't do it that way.
So my question is , Has anybody successfully got rid of their addiction by meditating ? or Else ?
If so, what particular kind of meditation ? I would be very grateful for any advice at all.
Thank you , please keep in mind that I'm still a newbie :)?

Cheers

Hey guys,
I've been coming and going to the forum for the past week, I finally decided to take this thing seriously and sign up :) , so here I am.
I'm a moroccan ( Muslim too ) , living between france and morocco.
Thespiritscience Channel & Videos in youtube is what introduced me to the astral world, to people who haven't seen the Spirit science videos, I recommend them highly.

Anyway, that's all for now :) see you in the forums.
Cheers
