Hi everyone

I was just wandering like everything else in reality checking , you do it to bring on a  awareness in the dream states .

I was just thinking that when i fly in my dreams it seems to autimatically bring me to parcail conscious , as if the flying aspect  is a trigger to bring me aware . The flying feels that good or the levatateing , that its implanted the desire in my conscuios mind that much that i barely miss a flying expereince when it occurs .

The problem seems to be with me anyways , is delibritly bringing that flight dream on , i struggle to make a dream like this occur , it seems that their only happen when there feel like it , but when it does happen , it makes sure most of the time that i get some conscuios intervention within the expereince

Hi bmw

I guess after reading roberts first book nearly twice and experimenting in different states, its projecting my own creative aspect to experiment within my own ideas, which is great.

My next difficulty in the dream states is identifying or verifying  results against the physical reality" for example the number " or card  identifying , after becomeing lucid a few times it suddenly dawned on me , that being lucid is subjective, so its possible i could change the number without knowing through my imagination influencing the enviroment around me without me being aware of it. If i can stregnthen my imaginitive state to keep  the enviroment " physically real as i can " then i l know then that the card or number has got to be the same number or card in the physuical i m percieving .

But if that happens , the questions then raised , what dimension am i in lol  ,  the real time zone ? or a created Lucid enviroment ? the real time zone is a  reflection of the physical world , so objects are a reflection of real physical objects, in that case i m in the real time zone and matching results should proove correct  .

If its a dream enviroment , maybe that is possible , that your sub-con can become clairvoyant and give you the real results to the physical object your locking on to  for all your in a dream , maybe in the actual dream , it can create a perfect copy of the  physical enviroment your percieving as a temporory enviroment .

I l stop their because it can get abit to deep i think lol

Thanks for your response anyways, i m gonna keep experimenting  when i can

I had a idea last nite that confused me somewhat ...

It was the fact that if you are trying to  proove to yourself you have   left your body , through useing a number or a  playing card, which was previously hidden out of site to you from a freind or someone in the physical . Then if i was in a Lucid dream , then that number or card may appear wrong to the true physical counterpart ?  , because while we are lucid the expereince is more subjective...

If i m thinking right , then if i m haveing a subjective expereince , i have the power to shape shift the dimension i m percieving  ( Lucid )   shapeing the enviroment useing my imagination , even if i m unaware of that at times , so if i suddenly wake up with the dream in mind  with the number or card in my mind , then it should be the wrong number or card , because the expereince was Lucid ? .  Like for example if i slightly thaught of the number as being " 57 " lets say , then the number would appear as that number. ( as aposed to the true number )

But if the number  matched up  to the true physical number when coming back awake as i remembered it or seen it , it would suggest that i was percieving objectivly  somewhat  , which would explain what type of expereinceing i was haveing , IE : either  astral orientated or dream related ?

I knows it sounds abit confuseing, its head doing lol , but very intersting

I can relate to some of that , i think what it is ...... when your desire has built up enough to want to expereince some sort of paranormal activity in dreams and obe`s , our sub-con mind  takes over and gives our  physical awareness time to expereince   some  unconcious activity .

Like in my case , i v been trying to project conciously for years , it never happens when i try, its when i m not expecting it that i generly have a expereince , its generly the flying aspect in dreams that triggers my awareness  , at this point it feels amazeing , haveing some concsuios control over a dream because the flying aspect has acted like a wake up call  , ( knocked me to awareness in the dream ) .

But that expereince the other nite ( false awakening ) really did trick me into thinking i was still awake, because i could nt remember falling asleep on the third time i came around . It was nt until i started hovering  above my bed under the quilt did i realise this could nt be physical reality lol , but it was that funny, i remember laffin like mad at myself in the dream, whizzing about the room . But the hovering was the only distinction that made me realise it must have been a dream, because the room was identical to awake  mode .

but i v realised somthing important aswell . Next time this happens, i m not gonna get exited , because that will knock me back awake and spoil this expereince ,  so aslong as i remain carm and keep affirming " i  will remember everything " with a adventerous intension in mind to explore outside and other places , maybe i can prolong this expereince and remember it aswell

Welcome to Dreams! / false Awakenings
December 09, 2004, 17:31:07
8th dec 2004

I had a mad expereince last night . I was lieing in bed struggling to fall asleep , i went into a semi-con state twice , but woke up twice and new i was awake , but the third time i woke up  i was still in a dream . In the dream everything looked normal in the room, nothing had changed  and everything looked very solid and physical , just like the last 2 occations i awoke up b4 it , it seemed exactly the same , so i thaught nothing of it until i tried to get up and moove to get a drink from the kitchen ,

Suddenly instead of mooveing towards standing upright and walking , i started hovering above the bed, and i started to float with the quilt still covering me towards the bedroom door, i  started laughing and was getting exited , at this point it dawned on me i had became lucid or was takeing some form of control of this particular dream, it was as if i used the flying ability to acknoledge i was in a dream ,

Thats the first time i had a expereince like this b4 a ( false awakening ) , it was awesome , i just wander what i done to bring this effect on , because i had nt planned it to happen ,

The only way i thaught this was possible, as  if i intented to dream of being in a awake state in the here and now just lieing in bed trying to sleep, and also its as if the flying element in a dream  acts as a trigger to remind my concsuios mind " yes i m now dreaming and expereinceing it "

Has anyone had a simular experience ?

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
December 01, 2004, 17:24:17
On the subject of Lucid dreams, or flying dreams , i m lucky to have them  from time to time . My last encounter flying in a dream was another usual 1 a few nights ago .

What generly happens in my casefrom time to time  is that , i l suddenly come to  awareness at 2 or 3 in the morning from sleep time  ( semi -con ) , and get the vibrations  feelings  for a split second , then i l find myself always in a dream of somthing happening . I know its a dream because theres somthing being played out in the dream which i generly percieve  around my awareness .

At some point in the dream whilst i m aware i l begin to   float upwards and hover in the air  looking down on the activities in the dream . I then always speed off  through the skies floating in all directions, marveling at my ability to maintain flite awareness  ( note : I always have to concentrate on the flying otherwise i start to  fall downwards ) , but these days when its happened i feel i v focused that much on the flying that i v left some sort of energetic reflection maintained in that enviroment , it seems every time i re enter a flying dream, it is becomeng easier to maintain gravity .

As soon as the dream has finished i rush to the computer and logg the dream in my  dream journal to try and  break down  how much more awareness i am gaining in the dream enviroment .

It seems on further scrutiny that my dreams  reflect my desire to have a astral projection , which never ever happens when i intend on it happening , but due to reading roberts  first book ( astral dynamics ) and applying the new energy ways b4 i fall asleep, it makes me wander  wether that raised etheric energy has  delibritly been channeled into my lucid dreams to give me awareness  into the dream , instead of that energy becomeing waisted  due to not makeing a consuios exit out of body .

It makes sense when i think , because when your raising the energy ( the secondry sections )  ( then the primary sections ) , b4 falling off to sleep , you have stimulated your energetic body , so instead of haveing a OBE or trying to have 1 thinking you may fall asleep b4 you attempt a exit , you might aswell channel that raised energy into another specific area .

To test this idea, i delibratly channeled that etheric energy into  my imagination to try and slip into a lucid dream through directing that raised energy into  the dream scenario , funny enough i  did  have a dream that i remembered due to this thinking , so i m gonna keep applying this method to try and stregthen my lucidity . Delibritly channeling the raised energetic energy around my  body awareness into dream re-call

Welcome to Dreams! / Flying in a Lucid dream
October 20, 2004, 05:09:33
I v had loads of flying dreams , and i generly recall those ones , but the struggle i seem to face in flying dreams , is identifying if its a  astral projection , and i m in flite , for all the dreamscape evvents are happening still at the same time whilst i m flying .

Like in 1 particular dream, i ascended high into the sky, and suddenly realised i had to concentrate on remaining afloat in the sky, otherwise i would start to drift downward , while this was happening , there was a dream occuring where by there was 2 aircraft  from a different technological era fighting in the sky ,  1 was a 1940`s 2nd world war aircraft, and the other a modern stealth US jet  lol , and in this particular dream, i was darting all over the place trying to get aboard the stealth jet , ( like flying towards it )

So to me , if i m haveing a dream and i start to fly in that dream, and become aware i m dreaming at the same time , and take some form of control over that dream , then i m expereinceing a type of > lucid dream projection ?

Can anyone relate to a simular expereince ?

Welcome to Dreams! / lucid experimentation

hi their

i had a idea one time that helped me in haveing a projection that  came from a lucid dream and it involved setting  a alarm clock to go off at a time usually when i m asleep . If you set your alarm clock to go off at lets say 3 in the morning when your generly in a deep sleep , your knocked to awakefullness , at the point when your  awake , you simply switch the alarm off, and drift back  into a semi-con state . If you can hold that semi-con state,  simply attempt to jump out yourself .

It makes abit sense , because when your trying to have a out of body from the begining , you have to prepare yourself for the expereince ahead , well when you set the alarm clock to go off, you skip out the hard work , because you allow yourself to drift into sleep normally, the key is in this idea , in my expereinces , is to try your hardest to keep aware after you v switched the alarm off . I v had atleast 3  lucid expereinces that felt like there were astral projections somewhere inbetween useing this idea .

Hope this helps  :)
