Wow this has been a strong wave!

I began feeling the bliss of this energy immediately. It feels so clear, like a psychic "ah-hah!"

anyone else have some feedback on this one?

Yes thank you so much Hannah!

and keep em comin!

This stuff really resonates with me for some reason.

and it feels really nice knowing I'm not the only one going through this  :-)

Hey there Hannah!

I think i'd have to agree with your rationale for fear. I personally don't mind what will happen to me,but seeing everyone else's lives fall apart bothers me. But I guess we must remember to extend our personal understanding to those around us and also remember that what is meant to happen to us will happen just as what is meant to happen to others will happen in their unique way.

The wave of the yellow warrior though doesn't seem as apparent as the wave of the blue moon. Overall I would have to say that I am seeing more clearly which allows me to be an objective, good and fearless warrior for all that I believe in.

What Stookie and Principle mentioned I believe "cured" me of being scared of the dark, although it was more of a realization that I was basically scaring myself. My 28 year old brother is still scared of the dark...he gets freaked out that aliens are creepin on him. We used to watch all kinds of wacky paranormal shows when we were kids which I think did both of us in.

Now when I'm alone in the dark and I feel the fear creep up on me I just ignore it. Acknowledging it makes it real. As Principle mentioned, when I'm in truly frightening situations or I just can't shake my fear I just remind myself over and over that I'm an infinite being of light and nothing can harm me.

good luck bro

edit: ooops forgot a small piece of info...

Wow! did you just channel my thoughts?

That is really bizarre. For the past week or two I have been out of control when for months before that I was riding on a wave of unending bliss. I'm finally coming out of it, though the creator must have thought it would be funny if he gave me the flu as a final test! haha oh well...a little yoga, some tea, lots of OJ...maybe some table tennis? where can a guy go wrong?

Thanks for that Hannah...I was feeling pretty lost for a while there.

I believe that was probably your spirit guide as well. Sometimes I feel an outside source of intense love shining upon myself with someone/some people repeatedly saying "We love you so much, you are so beautiful" but not always like that...but always with that message and the love; I know what you're talking about when you say it was different kind of love. It really feels unconditional.

I'm not sure how you can come into contact with your higher self or guides though cuz I've been trying for a few years now and I have made almost no progress.

Good luck on your journey!

Great post, James.

This makes me want to become a healer...you'd essentially be giving people their life back. I wonder how spirituality incorporates into this as I think many who accept psychic healing also feel that certain things in life happen for a reason and something as major as cancer probably wouldn't happen not according to plan.

Where are some good places to look for healing? What are the most well known practices for effectively healing?

Ah damn the internet! haha well, I didn't mean the critisizing comment to be taken in a negative way. I agree that way too many people use drugs to escape though. I also limit my use of legal drugs...for health reasons and I think it's interesting watching my body cure itself...I like to see my humanity come through, it's refreshing.

dRealM: What did you see or hear? I'm curious. I interpreted it as just a sudden objective change in your feelings, which I could see happening to myself someday.

As I said before, I am not going to be surprised if I abandon all "artificial" means of stimulating my mind. I guess I won't be surprised if I don't either. I go with what benefits my life and in my life what benefits my life benefits others because I like helping people...

Astir...I will say you may be right, as anyone can be right about anything, but let's look at the definition of a poison:

From Dictionary.com

1.   a substance with an inherent property that tends to destroy life or impair health.
2.   something harmful or pernicious, as to happiness or well-being: the poison of slander.

These first two could be applied to those who argue the "bad trip" angle, as pschedelics such as LSD can impair health (mental) and could be harmful to one's well-being, but this is referring to a more psychological approach as implied by slander.

5.   to kill or injure with or as if with poison.
8.   Chemistry. to destroy or diminish the activity of (a catalyst or enzyme).

Now these two are probably more applicable to how people descibe psilocybin as a poison. I believe the second one actually illustrates this the best and I can second it from my biochem class. Poisons inhibit certain processes in the body, processes that are essential to life. In excess amounts, anything is a poison right? So we're essentially arguing HOW poisonous psylocibin is.

From Erowid:

"Psilocybin, psilocin and psilocybian mushrooms have very low toxicity - in tests with mice, doses up to 200 mg of pure psilocybin/kg of body weight have been injected intravenously without lethal effects (that would be 13 grams of pure psilocybin per average human (65 kg / 140 lbs). The ED50:LD50 ratio is 641 according to the NIOSH Registry of Toxic Effects; compare this with 9637 for vitamin A, 4816 for LSD, 199 for aspirin and 21 for nicotine. According to Leo Hollister, Jonathon Ott, and John W. Allen, one would have to consume their body weight in fresh mushrooms or eat approximately 19 grams of the pure chemical substance to bring on death. "

And more from Erowid:

The following hallucinogenic species contain not psilocin/psilocybin but ibotenic acid, muscimol and related compounds:

    * Amanita citrine (syn A. mappa, A. citrina), A. muscaria var formosa, muscaria (*), pantherina, porphyria, A. muscaria var regalis, tomentella

(*) The famed "Fly Agaric" red toadstool with white warts.

"Amanita species cause 95% of all deaths from mushroom poisoning. The ones above are (reasonably) safe. The danger lies in incorrect identification.** Death by Amanita poisoning is reportedly an excruciating way to die, since they destroy liver tissue and the body's own wastes then kill you. Worse yet, noticeable negative effects do not begin until 3 days after ingestion, and by then it's too late. (Note - Silymarin found in Milk Thistle seeds is one of the only substances known to protect against a majority of the liver damage caused by poisonous Amanita species, but it needs to be taken immediately after ingestion, long before any negative effects are noticed.) I would seriously recommend against toying with these; most reports say they're not even fun. If you insist, consult other sources for more information."

** Here they are talking about picking wild mushrooms, which can be dangerous and shouldn't be undertaken without proper knowledge. "magic mushrooms" bought 'off the street' are typically grown and known with 100% certainty to be psilocybe mushrooms. There is no way to mistake amanitas for psilocybes.

I don't really feel like interpreting this data as it pretty much speaks for itself. I really dislike misinformation. I know soooo many people who go around saying the most bizarre stuff about mushrooms. I have done a TON of reading, don't worry.

Novice, I didn't take your post as being condescending, but thanks for putting that out there as we all know it's hard to tell what people mean when they type their words. I can kind of see your comparison but I don't think it is very fair. There are virtually no advantages to alcohol, esp driving under it's influence, though the possibilities in the psychedelic realm are vast. The possibilities thru meditation are endless.

I very much believe in education and sensible use on such matters as these. Psychedelics are not things to be taken lightly, or without the right set and setting.

Agreed. It really sucks that there are so many people in the world that just want to get messed up. In the past all my psychedelic journeys have been very spiritual. My friends and I aren't of the "let's see how high we can get" crowd. In fact, I have always thought that "less is more" when it comes to most drugs. I have gained unbelievable insights into my life, the world, etc through small doses and a clear head. I have also gained unbelievable insights into all things through my day-to-day living, as that is just how I live my life. I have a strong pull to start yoga soon, which I will. I just wanted to point out that I have never used mind-altering drugs to be the ticket, though they can be valuable directions to the train station.

I do agree with a lot of what you guys have said. There are many parallels between wisdom/info gained from psychedelic experiences and methods such as yoga and meditation. I do agree that yoga and meditation give more long term effects, though I think psychedelic experiences can open people up to certain ways of looking at things, which can then be pursued with a clearer head. Actually I was just chattin with my friends the other day about this and I brought up the fact that I believe ultimately we will be making the journey unaided (by drugs). If this is true, which I think many people agree with, it really confuses me when people come down on psychedelic explorers. I believe a lot of psychedelic drug users are looking to better their life, the world, or what have you, which is what yoga practitioners desire as well as those who meditate. With similar goals, how can one group criticize another?

I Agree Stookie, which is why I don't think mushrooms are for *everyone*. Like most things, they can benefit or hinder, depending on the person. Do you have schizophrenia? DON'T DO MUSHROOMS! lol It just amazes me that when one thing that many people see as negative doesn't solve the worlds problems, it's bad...umm does caffeine cause enlightenment? Oh wait! no...Alcohol! Yeah that's where I learn of the words wonders and gain superior health! na...not so much. The majority of people on this planet have a very unbalanced view of psychedelics such as psilocybin containing mushrooms.

Many people I've talked to, after having bad trips figure out what happened during the trip to cause those feelings and they learn from them. The people that have bad trips, get scared, tell everyone they come in contact with that mushrooms will have you blowing the devil, is really missing out on an opportunity. As I'm sure many here believe, the hardships are where we are most likely to progress forward.

The reason for the ban is unclear but irrationality is a prime uspect.

Haha true enough

I always think it's interesting when at websites such as this where the sheep populace would come down on us for this stuff, members dictate what is right and wrong like those against what they do! I'm sure if there was a way to outlaw astral projection it would be done.

...and they're hard on the liver anyway.

Really? I heard they can make your brain bleed too. I also heard they make you pregnant and give you gonorrhea if you're not careful!

Quote from: TalaNay
I suppose it takes a bad trip or seeing a friend die to make people see, they are not the way to go.

Are you talking about people physically dying? Only one person has ever died from eating magic mushrooms.

I also think it's interesting that some people find that psychedelics are an incredible tool for learning after a bad trip, as bad trips are an immense opportunity to learn, from what I hear.

Yeah Shpongle!! "Star Spongled Banner" is amazing. In fact I'm going to listen to Spongle right now.

I feel I am evolving at a rapid pace at the moment, and a lot of things are changing, spiritually and mentally.

That's amazing, because I feel the *exact* same way.

It's interesting too that I used to like a band called "Bright Eyes" a decent amount, which if you know this band, know that they are a "emo" group with a depressing tone to their stuff. I havn't listened to Bright Eyes in months though...I feel as though I have moved on to a higher vibrational level and this stuff just doesn't collaborate with where I'm at.

I highly doubt you could keep your mind awake while you're being put under...everyone tries, no one succeeds.

Like Astir mentioned, afterwards is a different story. I woke up basically tripping. I was led to different room (no recollection) and I sat on a doctor's type bed that you sit on and watched non-existent ants walk around a waving counter across from me. I actually had to ask my dad if I was dreaming or not. A short time later  though I just closed my eyes for a few minutes while my dad ran into a store to get something and saw white sentences in sanskrit (I don't know sanskrit), to which I firmly believed I understood at the time.

The easiest example is that many people KNOW when they are being watched.

Hah yeah Leo, so true...it makes it hard to observe humans, something I find myself doing often.

Even many of the crop circles, which are not man-made, are pointing to the Maya and 2012.

Hey there Adrian

Just out of curiosity have you read anything about why crop circle creation is slowing? Last year there were tons but this year there was a noticeable drop.

Yeah man you are right he is a very interesting person. He is Indian so I assume he is Hindu as he is a vegetarian. I was seriously considering talking to him about vegetarianism and see where that goes since I am a vegetarian as well. He's my biochemistry teacher and *very* intelligent and cares a lot when it comes to teaching; for example when the class does bad on something he feels bad for not teaching us correctly! most profesors would just get mad at the class. I certainly believe he is being guided by his highest good.

That's interesing that there is a distinction between gold and yellow since his was definitely golden. I've also heard though that all people while in thought or people who are just mental have a yellow aura around their head...but then I've also heard that the halos around saints are auras (indicating a certain level of spirituality)....but then again what I saw was very obvious and obviously golden so maybe what is recorded as yellow was the best that the seers of saint's auras could get  :?

Auras are neat...i want more! :-P I guess it'll come in time  :|

Well I just thought I'd update....

Just got back from chem lab and had a pretty interesting experience. I was talking to my prof about this machine that we were using and suddenly I noticed there was a *very* bright yellow/golden glow around his head. I noticed it and it went away but I just did what I usually do to try and get auras to show themselves and it came and went during our conversation but it was somewhat elusive. I don't know if it was because he was moving and talking or if it was because I was so close so I couldn't just gently gaze at it and had to basically look directly or what.

I was also wondering if maybe i saw it because i was close? does anyone know if distance is a factor in auras? I tried to see it later and couldn't, but I was 2 or 3 times farther away  :?

All in all - very happy. It was such a rich color, I was really quite amazed. I meditated this morning as well which I normally don't do which may have contributed to this. I saw some really beautiful violets and blues while meditating as well. The colors in the psychic world compared to visible light colors are well...worlds apart!

How are things going for you Lucid learner?

I think this guy is kinda a star across the internet...I've seen his gargantuan schizo thread on another site and they referred to his gargantuan schizo threads on other sites...either this is for real or this guy just gets hammered and starts typing lol

Wow is there an astral takover going on??? I had a similar dream yesterday!

This dream occurred after hitting my sleep button probably a couple dozen times  But in my dream I was in this giant what seemed like cave where there were a lot of people. I was at the edge with a few people and we were higher up than the rest. From my dream memory out of nowhere I see this alien/angel/entity walking toward us. I remember thinking it was an angelic type being but it had a greyish face with a hood over it's head, it's body was an average human's size and was quiet and moved slowly. As it walked it entered, or melded with peoples bodies, but no one was afraid. As it was walking I for some reason tried to shine it in the eyes with a laser pointer. It finally got to me and I was a little scared and fought it slightly as it entered me, but once it was in it felt fine and I talked to it for a while. It said a few things about how I am living my life which I don't recall right now and it left. I remembered for a while after the dream what it had said but now all I remember is it said something like "Your life is fine but _____ is a little off" that sort of message, but I don't know what it specified........the weirder thing is after that dream so far my life has changed dramatically

Ok I just remembered something even weirder! All my life I have been *horrible* at math...not just bad but unbelievably bad...I just couldn't get it. Anyway in....maybe early June? I had a crazy dream that has since changed my life which was similar to this. I was in my house and walking around with all these beings, who didn't seem very concerned about much. I kept on going from this area to a "real life" area. I finally entered into the real area and I entered myself, though it felt like a different aspect of myself. I was somewhat reluctant to go into this "real life" zone but once "I" was all the way integrated into my "real self" I was ok. I woke up and did normal things. I studied for my math that night and read through the chapter. The next day I understood *everything*. I almost walked out of class I was so excited to try out my new skills. Yep sure enough, I now understand math waaaaaay better than I did before....

Well look out folks! you might have a helpful entity/aspect of yourself coming soon to dreams near you! :)

Why would it matter if you are a novice or not? The energy is there independent of the projector.
#46
Deep breaths eh? Hmm I will definitely try that. I just feel so out of focus when I'm having these experiences. So when you guys create a portal or door or whatever how exactly do you go about it? Do you just look at a window or something and think that you will go to place x when you go through it? Or do you close your eyes and create a portal then open your eyes and go through? Or something different?

Thanks much...I would be *so* happy if I got through this, because this is my only link to the astral, really. I've had two high quality projections in the past two years, so if I can exploit these weak short experiences, I'd be in the money!

#47
Hmm thanks nay. I'll definitely have to try and keep a destination in mind. I normally think first I need to get out of my house then I'll decide where to go.

Anyone else? I would really appreciate some input on this because I have been struggling with these types of experiences for a while and I don't know how to improve upon them.

#48
Thanks Nay

How can the RTZ be so different though?

I had one of my best projections last winter and it was (I think) full on RTZ, except there were things *everywhere* in my room, that actually weren't there in waking life. I assumed I was seeing the past/present/future of the room, as I also saw a baby sitting on the floor.

So onto my other questions...what can I do from here? I usually just stumble around my room until I loose lucidity. I sometimes am lucid enough to try and make demands but I often loose lucidity before anything else happens. In this experience I tried to contact my guides (like usual) but I don't remember having contact with them.

How can I increase my lucidity once lucid? or prevent loosing lucidity...but I guess I never notice slipping out.

One thing that I thought was interesting was that when this was happening I decided to test it to see if it was the dream state. I've read that in lucid dreams you can basically create what you want so I tried to "summon" a woman. Nothing happened, I fell back and either woke up or lost lucidity, I guess proving that it wasn't a dream. After this is when i tried to contact my guides.

Thanks much

Hmm interesting on the help with angels, that must have been a neat experience.

I agree with most of what you said, what I am wondering is why you keep linking God and Christ as in you have a strong Christian faith. Like I said I agree with most of what you said, including it doesn't matter what path you take only how you go about that path. It just seems like when people have mystical experiences, astral projection or have strong drug related experiences - altered consciousness - basically when people experience "the source" they no longer subscribe to a strict religous schedule that requires certain steps or certain intermediaries.

I applaud you if you have actually integrated projection with Christianity. I read in a book by the Dalai Lama that he believes strongly that no matter what faith you have, just stick with that one and practice it, instead of taking parts of different religions. I agree almost whole-heartedly. Even though I do take parts from different religions I find a centralization on a certain one (for me it happens to be Buddhism) helps me keep focused on my spiritual path. Ya need roots! heh or something...I don't even know if what I just said is true, but it seems valid from what I've experienced.

Sorry to derail this thread guys! Curiosity hit me hard on this one. And thanks tvos for explaining :)

I've been able to validate my experiences, statistically track my achievements, goals, stopp'd drinking, developed a closer relationship to God, Christ.

Hey there the voice of silence, just out of curiosity are you saying you became more of a christian after projecting? I don't think I have ever heard of anyone who is into the new age and/or projecting thing validate that christ is god and so forth. Or are you referring to a "christ consciousness"? Please expand.
