Many Eastern relegion believed in life after death ( reincrnation).
There is a verty nice book by a spiritual master on the subject  titled
Life beyond Phyiscal death which can be downloaded from:

this book  is good in very good in concept.

Recently , there are a lot of reseacher taking interest in the subject after a reputed  US doctor Dr. Brain Weiss  ( www.brainweiss.com)
wrote some best sellers ( many lifes  many masters and a few more).

I would be intersted in more references on the subject.

Any type of meditation is a cleanising process. Cleanising at physical, mental and emotional levels.. So everyone gets different expereinces related to cleansing. And many new channels of energy flow opens up.
Let every experience be unique and do not try to reproduce it.  Meditation is a natural process and let it flow naturally.  If there is excessive pain, please slow down the practice or change the type of meditation that you do but please do not quit.

I have a recent obsession with obtaining free literature, let's see what this is about.

Now if only I READ the literature instead of posting on forums all the time.

I recently watched the movie " what the bleep we know". I like the scientific explanation of how thoughts impact the reality.
