Welcome to Metaphysics! / Salvia Divinorum?
May 15, 2006, 21:35:32
you wont need a sitter if you know yourself enough, i think people only do crazy stuff when there conscious mind falls asleep during a trip, but people like this probably have a constant monkey mind going on- i prefer to be alone when im tripping because my intention is to go inside myself.

imo any hallucinogen is a great thing to do whilst meditating, any psychotropic will give you great insight into whatver it is your channeleing it into (exerxise, musical intrument, dancing etc..) and the mind is no different.
Meditating on a mushroom trip will blow your mind, your muscles get a hell of a lot more relaxed so you have a much more clear picture of where the tension is in your body, i think it it was done like this regular it'd speed up the kundalini process 100x, thats down to the person.

my salvia trip lasted about 40 mins, but only ten minuites actually felt like i wasnt in this dimension, the other 30 was like being inbetween worlds- i was starring into a mirror for the come down and i felt like i wasnt looking at me, my face kept changing shape.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Salvia Divinorum?

no its not illegal sarah any of the "zen" new age shops will sell it.
its really profound stuff, you know exactly what the trip means when your tripping, but when your back down again- trying to comprehend what just happened will be impossible.
i remember sensing different lifeforms around me, and kept speaking to them, but only after i was half way through conversation did i realise i was talking to something that wasnt there (or was??)
at one point i was the ball in a game of tennis between to pigmi type men, then i felt i was being watched by a group of spirits who were giving me the impression that "i should not be there" very very odd.

this is really educational stuff which should be respected for what it does to you, its like going to school being high on this stuff.
tbh magic mushrooms are a lot lighter and more playful, but the insights about oneself are still there.

vodka maybe?

simple NEW exercise....

imagine (FEEL) an electric power drill going through your hand.

if you feel a tingling, pressure, magnetism, or hot/cold temperature then thats NEW, then just experiment.

so is it possible for a soul to die? interesting idea, i think maybe it could be converted but not die, tbh honest would you want to?!??!?!??!?!
would you really like to stop existing?
#32
yeah the tingle i think is a sign of releasing tension and what your feeling is just oxygenated blood/chi going to the area- its a good sign :)
#33
i think there was probably another universe, everything seems to go round in cycles and for the universe itself not to- would seem like a contradiction of itself.  When this universe ends, theres probably gonna be another big bang for another great time span.
then all the learning the one consciousness accumulates through the universal cycle adds to what it already is and will continue to do so, forever learning, forever growing.

a circle has no beggining or end, but can alter in size :D

as for what came *first* i think was a consciousness of the lowest ebb, like a plant on earth, but it grew and grew and so on... tom chalko describes it well in "the freedom of choice" http://thefreedomofchoice.com/

a begginer in astral projection?

astral dynamics is the best book for begginers and experts IMO.

get that ;)

drugs are best used for rare, focused and meaningful experiences.
IN this light theyre good and can give a huge amount of insight if you know how to look.
but if you chase the experience and go for the quick exhilleration of them, and do them often without meaning or focused insight then they mess you up completely.
ignore what you read about them all being bad, just make sure you know yourself and be ready for what you might realise.
Coz its like opening a cupboard and having years worth of built up junk spill out if your not totally open to your deepest insecurities.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Meditation!

chu kung rooting tecniques are helpful for staying still, basically you let your pelvis feel like its hanging from you by the spine, instead of how you usually subconsciously hold it there, you really just have to let it drop.

imagine in place of your pelvis is a bowling ball.
#38
yeah theres a BIG difference between those kinds of crop circles to the ones made by people..
basically the ones people make with boards and rope look a complete mess, think of it like someone drawing a circle with a compass, and someone drawing it freehand.
why arent people aknoledging this stuff!!!!!!!
#39
the original post doesnt appear to be too serious, seems like a bored-on-sunday-afternoon  type post, sorry it just seems that way.

lmao @ ubicous
good ol' net gaming.
#40
have you tried an of bruces NEW tecniques??
try raising energy to your brain, and feel awareness actions swooshing about inside it.
maybe your body isnt relaxed enough- do some yoga or maybe go for a jog before.

a good NEW tecnique is *FEEL* a mouse crawling from your groin, in a straight line ending at your brow, feel its little nails digging in your skin, feel its weight etc.. when it gets to the brow, make another one do the same and keep doing it.

make sure you keep focused too, it could be you arent maintaining the fixed focus.
i find doing some sitting meditation before helps.
good luck

man that guy writes books about this stuff, is all that bulls**t too?
#42
hmmm mantras have always seemed to me more about the certain resonance they produce in your body than they have with being holy.

take "bell-il-in" saying this creates a small flutter of muscles at the base of the tongue, which for a lot of people holds lots of tension, so exercising the muscles here releases the tension there and the associated "neg/negative thought patterns" associated with it.

same with "AUM"  its no mystery as why it calms the body and mind, because of all the openings and energy channels in the body being tuned into this 1 vibration.
#43
exactly ;)
the feeling of there being 2 magnets seems best to describe it..
do you have a slinky spring???
if you have try holding each end and hold your arms to the side then just rock it back and forth from palm to palm.
then take the spring away and re-create the feeling, it keeps on going by itslef for a while.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Indigo children
February 11, 2006, 21:51:35
the whole indigo thing could be true, about a new consciousness of spirit dawning in man, - but that to me is just a byproduct of the civilisation we've become, and not about this "volunteeer soul" stuff...
if you think your special then you'll slowly become crazy and distant from society, and will be helping nothing and noone.
#45
i think a healthy heart chakra will make you more relaxed in life, and because its channeling energy more efficiently, your dreams will become more lucid as a byproduct.

a healhty base for me gives me confidence in being anywhere outdoors.
a healthy brow calms my thoughts, and refines my mental reflexes.
a relaxed crown makes me feel kinda dreamy, and not related to my normal mind.
#46
yeah but only when its done properly and you stick to the principles, its amazing and you feel like air is blowing through you, but if your casually doing it without being mindful of your innards then you wont really be working on the alignments and blockages.
ive been doing it a few years and have definatly become more boyant and dynamic internally because of it and thats from the increase of internal awarness which is basically the same thing as recognising energy.

from my experience the most significant factor of how much energy you develop is down to how striaght you manage to keep your spine,  if theres no definate 100% vertical line from your coxxys to your crown then no matter what other principles you stick by, youll be missing out on the *main* supply of energy,
and vice versa, your spine can be straight and youll get the "inner airy" feel, even if your elbows, knees, writsts etc... are not where theyre meant to be...
its best to work at keeping the spine straight if you really want to feel it working, i do it by dropping my pelvis and pushing my head up with my neck.
its good to complement it too with moving about randomly and simply following the momentum of wherever you go.
#47
hmm to me it just makes me become aware of the lower part of my body and how its supports my torso and head.
if you manage to relax the lowest muscles around your sacrum and groin area on the front and back of your body then your breathing will be long and deep.
when i breath this way for a while i dont feel breathing in anywhere other than here, which is a great feeling because ive been so used to being aware of feeling my nose/nasal passage and upper lungs, which is a more unnatural and less efficient way of breathing.
of you literally let your pelvis *drop* and feel like its hanging like a pendulum from your spine, then you tune into the base chakra and make your breath deeper.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / good hemisync
February 11, 2006, 21:17:31
hey has anyone got any effective hemisync for projecting they know of?? and if i can download it anywhere??
#49
maybe, but imo i think meditating is the most balancing form of self healing, or getting into a trance state and breathing deeply- without intending to project.

your not answering over half the questions asked, like shuringi's..

1. What major changes (spiritually and materially) will mankind face the following 100 years?
2. Does planet Earth consist of a spirit (Gaia), and what is really a planet?

im curious to know the answers to these too.
