I couldn't find anything as far as a Nova Dreamer thingy goes, not even in froogle. If you know where I can find one, do tell.

Dragonhawk, the link is www.immrama.org . There are only three CDs available from them now. Although, there is another company I know of. Go to Google and put in 'Brainwave Mind Voyages'. A company should come up.

I've been getting into Lucid Dreaming lately, and I'd like to purchase some binaural audio or like products to assist me. What do you all recommend? I have one binaural audio CD right now- the Immrama Institutes "Insight CD".

Thanks!

Reality... Subjective, isn't it? Our dreams, are made of a subjective reality (Subjective to our will) aren't they? As is the Astral Plane. Why not the Physical? Why can't we readily change our reality as we see fit?

Welcome to Quantum Physics! / Alive?
March 02, 2006, 19:24:54
Discussion from Gary Zukav's "The Dancing Wu Li Masters".

We're 'Alive' aren't we? I mean, ofcourse you'd say yes to that. But what defines Alive? Is it consciousness? Or, simply responding to stimuli? Or both? Think about a chemical reaction for a moment. If you provide proper stimulation something happens to the molecule(s) you're trying to change, right? Aren't we the same? If you do hit someone, they say "Ouch". If you use electricity to split the two Hydrogen atoms from the single Oxygen atom, they go their separate ways.
My point being, what if everything is 'alive' but everything also follows a 'program', if you will. Our program is just much more massively more complex than that of water molecule. See what I'm getting at? If that doesn't make sense, here's what the book says(If that's illegal, have a moderator take it out):

"When we talk of physics as patterns of organic energy, the word that catches our attention is "organic." Organic means living. Most people think that physics is about things that are not living, such as pendulums and billiard balls. That is a common point of view, even among physicists, but it is not as evident as it may seem.
Let us explore this viewpoint with the aid of a hypothetical person, a young man name Jim de Wit, who is the perpetual champion of the non-obvious.
"It is not at all true," says Jim de Wit, "that physics is about nonliving things. This is evident from our discussion of falling bodies (page 32). Even if some of them are the human kind, they all accelerate at the same rate in a vacuum. So physics does apply to living things."
"But that is an unfair example," we say. "Rocks have no choice in the matter of falling. If we drop them, they fall. If we don't dtop them, they don't fall. Humans, on the other hand, exercise choice. Accidents excluded, humans ordinarily are not found in the act of falling. Why? Because they know that falling may hurt them and they have no desire to be hurt. In other words, humans process INFORMATION (they know that hey may be hurt) and they respond to it (by not falling). Rocks can do niether"
"That is the way things appear," says de Wit, "but it may not be the way the actually are. For example, bye watching time-lapse photography we know that plants often respond to stimulae with humanlike reactions. They retreat from pain, advance toward pleasure and even languash in the absence of affection. "

I got lazy... It goes on to speak about how everything responds to stimulae. This is the whole point:

Quote from page 51 "Chemicals have no options: they always must act one way or the other.
"Ofcourse," beams Jim de Wit, "but how do we know that our responses aren't so rigiddly preprogrammed as those of a chemical, with the only difference being that our programs are enourmasely more complex?"

Isn't that interesting? I hope I get a lot of responses, cause that took forever... :D

The ability to focus ones energy toward a goal, or making something happen is within all of us, obviously. So, I do that alot using Music as stimulation for whatever I'm trying to make happen.
I'm in my final year in Middle School (8th), so naturally, there's a few people who are total pricks. One of them has decided to start a very nasty rumor about me, because he THINKS that he knows something about me which is very untrue. I just focused to largest amount of energy I ever have towards him shutting his mouth, and respecting me more. So, was it wrong to do that?

I've been using the Insight CD for about 2 months, and it's incredible. I know there was already a post on it, but I had the strangest feeling no one would see my review. I posted about this twice, infact...
It's very interesting. I don't see how Rain is annoying though, lol. If you're looking for a good way to Meditate, this is the way to go.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Area 51

The US only has as much influence on the Astral Plane as you and I. They are limited. Besides, I dought that it isn't something you couldn't get past.
I would watch it though. They will kill you. Our society is very primitive, so, just, go with the flow.

I'm honestly surprised I didn't see anything about that book on this forum! It's stupendous! If you have any interest in Quantum Physics, then this books is a must. Especially since it takes all of the theories and puts them in and easy to understand language. Here's several links:

Guys, relax. He/She is just a kid, hopefully. Theoretically speaking, it's possible. But, how do you know it's actually the right date and not just one you think?

I go to a Baptist youth group from time to time and find myself rather disturbed at their lack of zealotry. How can anyone in the right mind love an abstract being (Of which no solid proof demonstrates an existence.) more than their children, or spouse? That vexes me to the utmost extent, ergo I came here. Why, or better yet how, can someone do this?...

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Death
February 07, 2006, 17:31:25
What if we're all right? I mean, it's entirely possible that what happens after we "Die" depends completely on our belief system. That's what I would think, anyway.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Death

Death, one of the fundamental principles of Humanity thus far, however, is it really there? Or, is it just some looming belief of which we have no reason to fear? I,for one, think that, yes, our bodies do die but our consciousnesses do not. Or does it depend on the belief on the individual? Or none of these, and when we die, we're screwed?    Input?

They are of like mind. Simple explanation. You know? And you make it sound like "Witches" are another species. They may not have even been full-fledged Pagans, it could have just been a phase they went through. It could also be an odd coinceidence as well.

Well guys, the beginning of January I order the Insight CD from //www.immrama.org and, IT WORKS. It was effing NUTS! I'll tell you, there's nothing like being in a deep meditative state while both hemispheres of your brain are resonating at the same fequency.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dreaming 'Togather'
January 18, 2006, 20:50:33
But, my problem being is that everyone my age thinks it's stupid, or it isn't real. Or, they don't feel like working that hard for it. Even though it'd be the greatest 'video game ever'. Like, Microsoft or Sony should make a game where instead of dreaming, you play the game, and it's totally real, lol.

I was thinking... Do you guys think it would at all be possible to 'share' a dreams with another person, sort of like Astral Projecting together, only in a dream. I.E. You both would be in the same dream both governing what happens. It'd be pretty sweet, and it'd be possible.

Nay, a Moderator??? It didn't seem like you're a very open minded (Or for that matter sagacious) one at all. Sure, the post was kinda wierd, but you don't need to be an arse about it, come on! :D

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Indigo Children

I am 14 Years of Age, and I think I'm an Indigo Child. Are there any websites you guys know about that I could use to confirm my suspicions?

Thanks!

That's true. I'll be the Astral Pulse Ginny Pig, and tell you guys if it works. If they work, then I think the ( Dare I say it? ) price is right, lol.

I've been looking at this company - www.awakenedminds.com - and I just want to know if they're for real or not.
