Thanks for that. Obviously the clerk just assumed and my mom assumed as well.

Well you see, when people say remember that just means like, you go to a themepark, go on a roller coaster, and get off. You feel and experience everything you did in real-time, and afterwards you remembered the experience as being totally awesome.

The only problem arises in AP when you experience all these things, come back to your body, and just can't remember them. So you still have all the fun (ride the roller coaster), but you don't remember anything from it. That is just a problem, it can be worked on.

Well, if angels got attached it could be like a professional worker in a mental institute getting attached to one of his patients. He would feel sorry for the patient if the patient had to undergo some serious treatment like shock therapy, and do whatever he could to stop the patient from recieving such treatment. Life is a harsh lesson at times, and if a guiding spirit or angel became too attached it could be quite hazardous to our learning our lessons.

The world is full of hate and rubbish because anybody else who read that wouldn't listen. I won't enforce my beliefs on others, but I try to encourage them to believe in something more than just sex and drugs. Too bad, I failed. Turns out a penis is smarter than a brain of a complete idiot.

The original intent of this topic was to say the idiots are taking over. And nobody says it better than NOFX, with their song very aptly named "The Idiots are Taking Over." I highly suggest you download it.

Anyways, since I posted the original topic yon 3 months ago, I've had a bit of a change. I still hate almost every person in high school, but they're just immature and it's not my problem if they catch Chlamydia and rot away the rest of their vapid lives.

If your philosophy doesn't involve growing corn, I don't want to hear about it.

That is a saying I read not too long ago from my new calendar [:P]

But it has a point. If you get too obsessed with "rights" and "wrongs," you could well lose the ways that work. Style is important, but who cares if Bruce Lee didn't do the one-inch punch "correctly?" He didn't kill people, which is probably what he intended to do. He might've even had the chance to perfect it to the point of fatal, but he could have refused because he didn't want to seriously harm anyone, which is a good philosophy.

Well, other people talking...that would only happen if it was during the day or something. If you really want to save money just try it next time your on a long flight that runs through midnight or so...everyone gets tired around then, so they should all be sleeping. Hey, you might even see them projecting around the plane as well, just like Robert Bruce sees his children naturally projecting while they sleep - but they probably won't remember it.

Hell, I'm going to Japan some time this year, I'd better get used to projection before then eh? Cool idea!

You feel you're heart chakra beating because energy fuels the energy body the same way as blood fuels the physical body. The heart chakra, similar to the base chakra (but different), is responsible in spreading energy around the energy body. The heart chakra pumps it around all the minor conduits (blood vessels), to ensure that it stays "alive."

Keep up the good work. I'd be in your position if it weren't for this damned sleep deficit.

I think you've gotten the wrong ideas from the mind-split theory. First of all, it is not consciousness itself that splits into two consciousnesses that have no idea about eachother. It is a mind split, one consciousness still controls both because a plan you made in your physical body still is understood in the other body. Every memory and experience you have here is remembered on the other side, up to the split. After the split, one mind is in the body, sleeping or trancing, and the other mind is experiencing things. The one consciousness is still in both minds.

You say you find it easy to believe that one consciousness can control many bodies. Well, it's exactly like that. If they were COMPLETELY seperate, you would not feel duality when you were out of body. Think of it this way: If you were controlling three bodies at once, you probably wouldn't be able to pay attention and remember all three experiences at the same time. Body/Mind 1 is eating an apple. Body/Mind 2 is eating an orange. Body/Mind 3 is eating a pear. All at the same time. Because that one consciousness, i.e. you, is NOT outside of those bodies watching them, but rather experiencing all of those three tastes at once, you can only really remember one thing. By remember I mean you feel yourself there as it happens, as we have a constant real-time recording of memory. I do not mean that you go back to your body and THEN see yourself eating the one fruit, instead of all three. You would still feel some random duality sensations, such as eating or holding an apple or a pear while you're in or focusing on the body/mind that is eating the orange, because you love oranges more than anything so you don't give a crap about the others.

What I'm trying to say is, you sound like you believe that one consciousness watches and controls the other bodies like a puppetmaster, but really it isn't like that. Consciousness is still controlling all of them at once, but because our minds cannot understand all of that information happening at once (being in two places at once), by default it takes the most interesting or memorable experience and takes it in and remembers it as it happens.

Besides, as things are happening we are having a constant real-time recording of memory. So I don't think it too weird to say that you remember only the most interesting. That probably didn't make much sense[|)].

If you want to prove to yourself that mind does indeed split, though I do not recommend this, try to look at yourself when out of body. If your body looks at you while your out of body and vice versa, you will definitely feel a very strong sensation of duality. A compounding feeling of infinity that just goes back and forth. It is very dangerous, and the only way I know about such an experiment is by reading Robert's account of his experience in Astral Dynamics.

Hope that helps.

Kugen, if that really is your REAL name, Mr I-live-in-the-US-with-a-Japanese-name-that-isn't-really-Japanese-at-all, who is more stupid? The one who can't spell or the one who gives very good points in a very organised and detailed rant. As he said, back up your claims. You didn't even back up why you believed he was stupid, whereas he did.

That's the one thing I've always admired about society. Dipsh**s can be reveled for stupidity, and the smart ones get laughed at as if they're stupid. Now there is no need to get angry either. Just settle down. You either come here to learn or not. Obviously you weren't coming here to learn because you acted as if you had some authority on some "war" that probably won't even happen. You were trying to be the big teacher, the head honcho on the matter. Somebody thwarted your egotistical plans and you get all annoyed, an equally useless endeavour as your first. So stop wasting your time. Learn or get out.

First, let's just get one thing straight. People are stupid. And ignorant. So they wouldn't know witchcraft from astral projection and those two combined from New Age. The only "New Age" things that are accepted are those disseminated by stupid hippies who blab on about things they don't understand, like saying that if you rub some real expensive oil on your body twice a day that your aura will be healed, as if it needed healing in the first place. Idiots.

As for Whitley Strieber, he pisses me off. His alien conspiracies are rooted firmly in unstable material yet he pulls more information out of his rear end trying to convince people that his basis for his beliefs is stable. Some crap about Gnostic Christian texts talks about Archons, which, in case you don't know, means "dark rulers." Now all of a sudden he says that it "points to the existance of Greys." Ancient texts are so freakin vague that you can't just say that it points to something, no matter how much stuff you pull out of your...well...swearing's been banned.

Sitchin's work is very good in the way that it asks questions that point towards the possibility of aliens raising us, but he doesn't swear it as the Gospel truth, or at least he hasn't in his first book, The 12th Planet. The whole idea of alien abductions is just one or possibly more of the following:

-waking paralysis, a phenomena not only related to astral projection
-overactive imagination and lucid dreaming
-the fact that Greys could most possibly be negs
-natural projection involving Greys attacking people
-people trying to scare you and/or to get other idiots to follow them

Look at the ki kids, even a friggin 15 year old can get a whole legion of other 13-15 year olds to follow his ideals because he makes it seem believable. I mean, for Christ's sake (sorry Christians...), we could have CREATED the Greys! Belief shapes the aether, and they seem to reside most prominently there. Take a look at the history of what people thought aliens looked like. I mean back a few decades ago they were fuzzy little hobbits, and then they had tentacles and one eyeball. It wasn't til that whole Roswell thing that people thought of what is now commonly known as "Grey" or "Zeta." Real fancy names...funny how I think they could just be as made up as the rest of it.

I have completely lost whether I had a point or not.

Love and intamacy between two people is a joke. I simply don't believe in it. First of all, when you say that body parts define sex, then yes, you are right. But then you say you are only attracted to women. Why? Because of their body parts. So in the end, all that love stuff is just an excuse to make sex seem okay.

On the otherhand, a spiritual love that extends beyond the physical is very rare between just two people. You may not know it, but you probably "love" your friends more than anybody you've been with. Why? You're relationships, ties, and bonds with that person are stronger.

I haven't read all the topic, and I don't plan to. Just like I'm not planning on having kids, and just like I won't tell them about Santa Claus.

Here's how it'd go:

"Hey, Junior!"
"Yeah dad?"
"If you hear any kids at school talking about a 'Santa Claus,' don't say anything, becuase they're all idiots who bought into their parents' lies!"
"Right-o dad, they're all idiots"
"That's my boy!!"

But seriously, why do people even tell their kids about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. I'd tell my kids that other kids' parents just make it up so the kids have something to admire, cuz my kid would just be so damn smart he'd understand. I've always said to myself that it was a stupid idea, and pointless, but I never thought that it could hinder intelligence.

Thanks for that

I agree with the fact that me questioning psionics etc. was a little childish. But, now that I see that point of view, I guess it is kind of fun.

But take your friendship. It may not have boosted positivity in any way, but it would probably make a friendship that IS completely trustworthy all the more meaningful, because people in general are pretty much a bag of backstabbers, even if they don't realise it.

"You must first know sorrow before you can know joy"

I completely agree with that. But judgement is a part of our makeup, possibly part of the ego, which is largely misconceived as being a bad thing. Ego is a part of us. We cannot function at 100% by missing one organ, for example, an eye or a kidney or even your heart or brain. So, if we took ego out of the entire equation of our existance than we are not functioning properly. Yes, ego does get out of hand, because we use it unwisely. But, ego can be a form of wisdom within itself. So anybody who thinks it is wise to get rid of ego to some extent or even fully is a fool in my eyes. Anger is a form of wisdom. Anger mainly comes from ego. Therefore, ego is a form of wisdom.

Forgetting our true selves? Damn, that's like saying that everything on this earthly existance is nothing but a waste of time if we've "forgotten our true selves." Bull. I am me. Thinking that we have forgotten who we are (truly) is a bit of an illusion in my eyes. The only thing we've forgotten is control over those parts of us that cause bad things like war to happen. We have forgotten control over acceptance and trying not to judge too harshly. That is not to say that we cannot judge, I mean, not judging people at all is like saying that a rapist is just another part of life. We have to judge, it is a part of us, but being leniant is very important as well.

I think that is all I have to say for now. If I had anything in my mind while reading your very well-thought out replies, I probably forgot by now.

Thanks.

One last thing

Did anybody notice that Neo was, in actual fact, a program?

The Oracle:"The power of the One extends back to where it came from, the Source."

The Source either being a program itself, the Matrix(as a machine), or a machine that runs the Matrix (as well as being part of a theory in Astral Dynamics [:P]).
Therefore, Neo was a program from the start. Or at least that's what I think.

That last fight scene would be cooler if DBZ had never been invented.

I would have to say that most of the philosophy they put in those movies comes from a freakin Philosophy 101 class you can pick up at practically any movie.

Of course the fighting was anime style - The Matrix was originally planned to be an anime, but the Wachowski brothers even said in the making of The Matrix that it would be way cooler to have all of that anime-style stuff done by real actors.

The only thing that bugs me is that they should have left it as just The Matrix. As soon as they made Reloaded the last two movies became total action/sci-fi cliché movies. I gotta admit though, it was pretty damn cool.

The Matrix was an a pretty ominous movie. It left you thinking "what if." Reloaded and Revolutions are just there to saturate the vast majority of the population's thirsts for an ending. When really, if you look at the first movie, there really isn't much they could have done with it. Hence the creation of new characters, such as the keymaker, Agent Smith's return, etcetera.

Again, back to the fighting scene between Smith and Neo. There are only a few things that seperate it from DBZ:

-The spheres would be made by energy blasts
-When they fought eachother mid-air, the idea of aerodynamics and physics would pretty much have to be thrown out the window
-Energy flames
-THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE!
-Fighting on some distant planet nobody cares about

You may all think after all that I hated the movie. In actual fact, I actually quite liked it. I probably hate Dragonball Z for taking something so cool (fighting in midair) into a total pile of crap.[:P]

As far as I see it, the vibrations are caused mostly by focus on the third eye and other chakras...but usually just the third eye (brow center).

But, yes, deep physical relaxation is recquired to feel them. And with that, a relaxed mind is extremely helpful, if not necessary(sp?) to get to that level of relaxation where the vibrations are felt.

Mind you I had an amazing experience a while back where I was very deprived of sleep (I was staying up all night at a friend's) and I finally got some sleep. When I was barely awake a felt a very smooth and calm throbbing all over my body. If not they were the famous vibrations! I was so surprised and amazed that I tried to keep them going, but in doing so I ended them entirely.

So that might be another part of the equation. Don't try to start them. Maybe they just...happen.

Try not caring whether you're doing it right or not. If you notice yourself tensing, then work on not tensing. The whole thing is MENTAL, just feel yourself as falling without tensing.

I believe that a lot of people tense up because it is only natural to either induce a falling feeling by tensing up while you're eyes are closed, or because most people tense up when they feel that falling sensation.

The whole point of the falling is to trick the feeling of VERTIGO, which can also be gained by feeling yourself as flying. Try to capture that feeling as a whole-body awareness action.

Best of luck,

Yo! Inuyasha, settle down.

That guy looks like an early interpretation of Gollum, before Peter Jackson made the LOTR movies.

But come on, you CAN draw stuff like that, it takes many hours and many techniques, but it IS possible.
