A) No, I will not stop tormenting you about your spelling, thank you very much [:)]  Especially when you cannot get my own name spelt right. That's just hurtful! [;)]

B) I think you only see things from one viewpoint neo...  You need to take these things in a different sense.  I don't want to sound harsh here, but you're taking everything from your little ki standpoint, and truth is, it isn't how the universe operates.

C) Mentally, it is obvious that we are more intelligent, but that intelligence is leading our society into laziness.  That's no good.

D) A "strong" person is a well-balanced person.  An all brawn-no brain approach is probably not the best way to go.  Anybody who understands this is "strong" to me.  Strength cannot always be measured in how much you can lift.

but as far as grammar goe: where not being graded or juged its just a forum or chat room so get over it.

But then there's ME!  I have been known to do such a thing, because I believe in good spelling!

Only twice have I been forced to correct an entire array of posts for a person (Allanon and neo [:)]), and let me tell you, the mistakes are too much to bear for me.

Your spelling reflects alot, believe it or not.  If you can't take the time to read over your post for spelling errors, or learn to type correctly if that is the cause of the errors, what message are you sending?  TO ME, you lose alot of points when you post as many spelling errors as my previous examples have.  TO ME, you have 3 options for the cause.

A) You don't care about spelling.  Who cares about spelling anyway? I do.  I care, and you should too.

B) You haven't learned the proper way to spell.  Highly unlikely, but if it is the case, there are plenty of dictionaries online that will fix your spelling.  If a word is too big to write correctly, find a smaller one!

C) English isn't your first language, or you have a learning disorder.  If this is the case, I apologize.  When I see "United Kingdom" or "USA", I assume you know english.

I was 14 once too...  Only 3 years ago.  I knew how to spell in 1st grade...  Granted, I enjoy spelling correctly, so I fail to make many errors...  Also the reason I win spelling bees [:)]

I'm not mean, I'm strict [;)]

SPELLING COUNTS! [8D]

~Squeek

PS - One of these days I'm going to go around quoting people's statements and fixing all the errors... if that's the only way to learn [:)]

PPS - Our generation is much weaker, but for a select few, they see it as far greater.  I'm talking mentally.

What's boring for you is a goldmine of music for me.  I like Darude's style of music, it's very different from anything else I'd ever heard.

I actually have heard of Dj Tiesto and Astral Projection's music.  I like Darude alot more [:)]  But hey, that's me.

Ok well, this is my favorite type of music... so I have some insight on the best of the best "Techno" songs :)

Darude is one of the best.  He has a song called "Sandstorm" that really rocks...  It was remixed several times, into -->

"Darude & ATB - Sandstorm in the Summer"
"Darude & Robert Miles - Children of the Sandstorm"
- I really like this one [:)]

He also has other songs, such as "Calm Before The Storm"

I also like some songs from DJ Mystic, but really only the ones without lyrics... such as

"Chant"  "Unchained Melody"  "Transcending Dream" and "Tune"

One other song, it's by "ATB" and the song is called

"Escape 2000"

~Squeek

PS - I just got tons more techno songs... once I play through them all, I will get the good ones posted here [8D]

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAaaaaa

Good memories of a great movie there.. watch me quote the WHOLE DARN THING!

"Aye. They're always after me lucky charms..."
*snicker*
"What...?  Why does everyone always laught when I say that...?  They ARE after me lucky charms!"
*chuckle*
"What?!"
"It's a television commercial...with this cartoon leprechaun...and all of the children are trying to chase him.. 'here leprechaun man leprechaun man! Want to catch the lucky charms!'  Oh, and there's always these little tiny bits of marshmellow just tucked right into the cereal so that when the kids eat them they think 'OOhhh this is candy I'm having fun!'"
*silence*

Oh man... what can I do to counter that one [8D]

OH! I've got it!

Family Guy - Da Boom.  Day : Dec 24, 1999.

Man in chicken costume: There won't be some other time... The world's gonna end at midnight tonight! Y2K!

Peter: y2k...What are you selling, chicken or *edit* [:P]

Man in chicken costume: Haven't you heard?!  At midnight every computer in the world is gonna fail!  Planes will fall out of the sky, and all the world's nuclear weapons will explode, ANNIHILATING THE ENTIRE PLANET!!!

Peter: NOOOO!!!   Silly rabbit, TRIX are for KIDS!  Darn long ears trying to steal Easter...  I'm sorry, what were you saying?

Fuzzi -

You're collecting these types of movies?  Awesome! [8D]

I've seen phenomenon; didn't much like the ending...  I haven't even heard of the others, but there was one I noticed missing...

It's meant to be a funny movie, and it's based upon reincarnation.  The two main characters are friends, something happens to them, yadda yadda yadda, they both die and incarnate as doggies.  They have some sort of important thing to say to their wives... and that's about it [;)]

The movie is called "Fluke"

"Enter the Matrix" is also for all 3 major consoles as well, just so ya know...

I beat the game all the way through as both characters, and it was entertaining for those 2 days.

I would actually recommend seeing the first 2 Matrix movies, beating the game twice through (once with each character), and renting the Animatrix as well.

Once you do all of that, the storyline leading to 3 will make MUCH more sense [:)]

Eh, I guess I should have added a few things to clarify a bit.

I came here before I lost religion.  I was here for about 8 months actually, still making sure everything was OK with the rules of Catholicism...

One of the books I read is featured on these forums, and it's called "The Value of Life".  It's a book about reincarnation, something that the Catholic church has shot down as 100% false.  I've always believed in it, and the book just strenghtened that belief.

Another thing I forgot to mention was the fact that I am in CLC (Catholic Life Community).  It's a youth group with the church.  Even though I've given up on the religion, I'm gonna stick it out with these guys until I'm forced to leave with the rules that apply there... (You're not a youth at 18 [:)])

I'd never tell them anything about my life as I do here, nor would I tell my family.  So I'll still be dragged to church on occasional sundays and be forced to listen to some guy do the same things again and again...

That's one of my issues with the church. They never change.  It's the same words over and over again.  It's the most boring thing I've ever had to sit through all these years, and I'm sick of it [8D]

....Time for random Simpsons Quote [:)]

"We're looking for a new food critic..You know, one that won't just poo-poo everything as soon as they eat it."

"No, it usually takes a few hours."

Heh, yea... I can see that [:)]

We'll ALL know in November, mmkay?  [:D][8D][:)][;)][|)][8)]

#262
Yes.

I was an avid Catholic for 16 full years of my life.  I read some books.  Books are fun.

Anyway it was a good book, and it convinced me that religion is useless.  So now that's what I think.  Eh...there's alot more to it, but I'm just a lazy bum.

Somehow I think you're hitting the nail on the head with that topic there.  Just maybe [:P]

Anyway, We can all see that Tisha is dealing with it best she can, so she knows what she's doing.  We don't need 45 topics saying to fix the problem this time around...

~Squeek
#264
Yea, I had the same problem... So I switched over to the "Active Topics" instead.

Usually, you can have alot there at a time, but sometimes you won't...so what I do is set it to all posts within 2 hours.  Then I set it to refresh every 5 minutes.  This works quite well [8D]

Hope that helps you.

Sorry to say that I am the complete opposite of you in this instance...  My immune system has blocked any and all diseases that have attempted to attack my system.  But, knowing this, I may be able to help you the best I can...

My room is the one place that I live about 75% of my life...  So, I keep my room according to ME.  I have fans all over, because I KNOW that if the temp in my room increases past 75 I will feel sick...  I'd say I feel best when my room temperature is 60 degrees.

You may be the same way, or the opposite.  Maybe you like heat, maybe you like cold. Either way, suit your living space to your needs.  It's something I don't know for a fact...but it helps either way [:)]

I still got that issue ...  Alot of people do.

I hate doing it, but I'm always thinking that other people think the worst of me.  It gives your self-esteem a big push the other way, and it sucks alot.

I don't even want to talk to people in "reality".  I'd rather not even be in school, but taking the class online.  Talking to someone in person... it's very hard for me.  It's hard to believe since you all know how I am here, but it's the complete opposite out there.  I don't call people, I hate receiving calls... I don't talk to anybody in school, other than the people that talk to me.

I hate the way I live life outside of the internet...That's why you should only call me by:

Ok, I had this book when I was like 10 or so... and it had these two sentences.

The sentences were split with this line.  One half went up, the other went down.  Surprisingly, you only need the bottom half of a sentence to read it all!

More than 75% of the sentence is down low.  So when you split it like that, it's better just to see the bottom!

OK...that storm sucked...

I was online yesterday until oh maybe 9:30, after getting power back at 8, which was lost at 5:30...  On the news it said it would take as many as 7 days to return power to our area, and that 2,000,000 people were without it.  So we decided to pack up and go to our cousin's in New Jersey!  It was lunchtime, and we had no food, so we went to Burger King first...

Big mistake.  Apparently everybody wanted it their way, because it took 30 minutes just to get to the counter!

There is no water here, so they could not mix water with soda syrup and make me a pepsi... a Chocolate Milkshake would have to do...

Oh boy... I spilled the milkshake... they don't make cupholders like they used to.

Oh wow.. a cellphone call...from Dad!  The power's back on at our house!  7 days my foot!

YAY! Internet!

Update from Squeek, who lives in northern VA!

THIS SUCKS FOR ME.  We lost power for 3 and a half hours, then it mysteriously returned.  I might be cut off any second, so I'm typing this FAST.

The storm is 100 miles or so south of here.  We lost power when it was farther away, so when it gets closer we get it back...makes alot of sense.

Save me [:)]
