The question answers itself . All the rest is just pretence and self justification.

 :-D well,

I do know that when you breath through open mouth, your saliva can evaporate very fast so breathing through the nose is always more beneficial (this is an essential for survival situations). I can't tell you if i breath through mouth or nose because i never focus on it.
I do know that usually i don't fully close my mouth, so the tips of my upper and lower lips are not touching each other. As I've found this is the most relaxed posture of the jaw unlike fully open mouth and fully closed mouth where there is always a bit of muscular tension.

kind regards,

thankyou tiny, youve been awesomly helpful  :-D
thats wat i was thinking, the more thinking the worse lol
the only thing im wondering is, by reference point u mean, stare at a particular part behind the eyes and jus go with the flow ey? something like that? ok maybe this will be easier, wat is your reference point if you dont mind me asking?

thanks for all your help. im about to try and project right now!

Aww my pleasure, and best of luck to you.

Point of reference is another wording for what I talked about with the visualizing the cube and focusing on it real hard. Actually I seem to tend to visualize not cubes but cooking pots or buckets for some weird reason! They are also very easily visualized.

Quotestare at a particular part behind the eyes and jus go with the flow ey?

I think you're beginning to overcomplicate it. You'll learn it by experience very quickly i'm sure.

Dear ridin0nthewind,

in addition to my posts I'd like to mention as I have mentioned before in another thread that one should NOT focus on entrancing oneself.
Trance is something that comes automatically by the side. Focus on a reference point entrances the body automatically. However, if one focuses on entrancing oneself instead of focusing on what one really wants to do it will not work I guarantee you from my own experience. You can save yourself a lot of frustration if you avoid this trap in first place.
By focusing on one's brainwaves, one will cause the opposite of trance by exercising physical bodily awareness which will cause mental activity to rise and this actually inhibits trance.
The overcomplication that minds and books have created is truely aweful.

Dear Non,

this looks to me as a simple case of overcomplication.

Dear Non,

I have this problem too, sometimes I wil jump into creative imagination. It's a sort of trap.

Most importantly, don't overcomplicate anything.

The imaging part of this tactile technique is mostly a clairvoyant one in my opinion. This means that one's visuals during tactile-imaging are not actively and creatively imagined by oneself but they come to one automatically, just like a case of suddenly hearing a bird sing and automatically seeing the bird in one's psychic eye. This is clairvoyance.

One needs to focus on the etheric body, bringing center of awareness to the tingling sensations (which are not the nerves) in various parts of the body.

Moving the energy in the etheric body, as R. Bruce describes in his "NEW" article, produces a very noticable resistance. The difference between astral and etheric energy is like that of gas and liquid.
Because of the sluggishness of etheric energy, one may jump from etheric awareness (tactile imaging) to imagining the energy moving (which is not what we want) out of mere impatience.
Creative imagination which is virtual reality may sometimes can sometimes cause a repercussion in the etheric body (remember violent movies - sometimes watching the impacts or pains of characters can cause one to feel them in one's own etheric body even tho the actual happenings aren't real and just acted) but I wouldn't rely on doing it the imagining -> repercussion way.

Dear Mr_Darkness,

poor you, back pain is heavy, I have back problems myself especially in the lower areas.

First you need to know the cause, whether it's caused by pressure on the discs for example due to dislocation of joints, or a mental/emotional, possibly past-life cause (such as having had received a deathly blow in that area in a past life can bring a repercussion on the current life), deliberate etheric or physical implants designed to suck the lifeforce out of you or even entity attachment.

You can try self-acupressure and EFT tapping right away. Inform yourself about these on the internet.
Do various back stretching exercises daily. Try to make your spine click (multiple times if you can!). Turn your head to the side until your neck clicks. I can make it click multiple times a day.
This one is especially important http://media.onsugar.com/files/ons1/192/1922729/26_2009/61bfc518f2dcef98_spinal-twist-550.jpg but isntead have your arms out in both directions.
Do this on both sides until your back clicks no more. Reach the threshold but don't hurt yourself.

I'm not sure if magnetic healing can help with something as intense as back pain, but you could try full body energy work and then focus energy on the area where it hurts. I'm not sure if I've had success with this at all myself. If you want to try this, do this daily.

Avoid pharamceuticals at all costs. Don't want to be drug addicts, do we?

As a general rule, one doesn't actively suffer from pain aslong as he/she does not have a portion of focus directed to it.

And I don't believe in God... but according to Christians, he believes in me.  Right?
Is that how it works?

Yeah, sorry... no.

I really don't get what you're trying to say.

But it really doesn't matter what earth people believe  . At the end of the day things simply are the way they are     and those earth people who are aware of the mental pirates have called them different names throughout history, Anunnaki, demons and such, i like to call them agents of darkness.

Daer Snow Pellets,

congratulations for your success.

However I still believe that you are overcomplicating this by far more than necessary. Focus, focus, focus  :-). If mental chatter breaks in, it means that one is not focused enough.

If there is a sleep deficit by the way, where the energy storages are depleted, it becomes very hard to focus if not impossible. I've stupidly inflicted it upon myself by staying up about 6 hours longer than I should've. Now my energy centers are depleted and when I lay down it's as if I am mentally incapable.

Don't forget to do some initial energy work, especially if you can get it to flow well in your facial areas, what you'll get is a lot more relaxation, essentially the same effect as massage.

I don't know if you folks get it but the idea is that the placebo effect causes the etheric body to start a self-healing process.

"more often they are not"?
I find that very hard to believe...

Dear Xanth,

I'm sure you do.

I believe it is actually closer to count around the 90% mark. Of course a lot of it relates to the human desire-body, which for example commercials and markets exploit and use to program people.
But If people knew just how much they are programmed by unseen beings such as aliens and astral beings, they would truely shudder. There's a "grid" that blankets the earth and it is very, very tight. The sensitive one can feel it.
True desires from the heart whisper only so gently, but pressing desires and urges are all external ones.

Dear personalreality,

do you do energy work? Do you meditate? It sounds like magnetic healing would be appropriate.

I hope you don't rely on establishment's medical treatment and their substances cause that's like taking your chances on snake venom and hoping it'll heal you somehow.

And please make sure you stay away from common neurotoxins such as glutamate, the sweetener aspartame and sodium fluoride, some of them potentially deadly (people have been killed by drinking diet coke). Butter and other terrible oils cause heart problems, best to use only coconut oil and deodorized coconut oil both as butter and for frying. Refined salt damages the body, use only sea salt or and the best is "himalayan" salt.

Jim Humble's MMS is a cheap and outstanding chemical that can detox your body from various poisenous oxydes incl. in the brain it also happens to kick cancer.

so say i am laying down and trying to project, i imagine the cube above me

Dear ridin0onthewind,

as I said that's all it takes, isn't that sweet? But again, focus real tight! 100% awareness must be transferred to a reference outside the body. Don't worry about distractions like breathing for if you focus on the cube you will soon forget about your breath, your limbs, your face, your tongue, saliva etc. and your autonomous nervous system will take that on for you.

You mean just picture a three-dimensional cube (made of glass or whatever appeases your mind) floating in the blackness in front of you?

Yes that is what I mean. And there's no need for you to imagine going towards it or being sucked into it or anything, the overcomplication of techniques makes the real difficulty, if you ask me. Simply picture the cube being there and focus at manifesting it as hard as you can. Remember whatever happens simply let it happen, don't force anything, the projection exit is a mechanical process. Picturing it in the space in front of you will align your frequency with that of the Real-time-zone and consequently you'll be sucked out of your body into the RTZ environment. Trouble focusing I believe is caused by a too active body-mind, persistent focus will quiet the mind.
I like using the cube because it is the single most easily imaginable solid. Last time I pictured a cooking pot for some reason lol. As soon as I got out of my body the pot disappeared and I was free in the RTZ.

Dear Snow Pellets,

I haven't had a lot of success with it and I quite frankly don't see why one would go so deep, it is not necessary to achieve OBEs.

I used to always think that extra-slow brainwaves are required in order to lose body sensations and consequently being able to leave the body, it turns out that this is not true at all. In fact I think OBEs are easily possible in Alpha. What brings success is a really tight focus placed outside the body. Simply imagine a small cube 1 or 2 feet above or in front of you, depending on your posture. Let nothing exist in your mind but this cube. This will quickly cause dissociation from the physical body and that creates the state necessary for conscious exit. The brainwaves will adjust as necessary for the body.
The vibrational state too is just a result of something so it's not what we're looking for either.
If you focus real hard you create that narrow tunnel through which you can exit your body.

Thanks for the info! I will pull the book out again and try to figure out how to do what he'd talking about.  Have you done any of Robert Monroe's stuff? If so, any success?

My pleasure.

Well, I don't like Monroe's methods because I don't want to be dependant on technologies in the first place.

Last time I went out, I had just come back from an astral/dream trip where I was sexually engaged so I was really exhausted but dissociated loose from my body, so I imagined an astral cooking pot a foot or two above my head and that pulled me out of my body.
I had little energy left due to the sexual encounter before and I actually tried to go through the roof and this didn't work because for some reason I expected to pass through an attic first but in reality there is none because my room is directly under the roof) so I sank down onto the floor, blacked out. When I came to myself back in my body I decided to use a more believable way to exit my room so I went out of the body and used the window to fly outside.

Yeah, I've been thinking maybe just it's my energy that is low. I've been doing some chakra meditation, but what I'm listening to isn't helping. Does Robert Bruce's stuff work for you? His book just seemed so complicated, and I didn't get through it.

Yes it works very well. I found that energy work does the same to the energy body that massage does, it really sets the energy body into motion and promotes relaxation. I found that the energetic support structures (like electricity wires) running through the the etheric body are more important to stimulate than the primary 7 chakras.
They can clogg like arteries so you must stimulate them by tactile-imaging or just directing awareness towards specific bodily areas and stimulating the respective etheric-body energy systems in those areas that way. You're looking for that tingling feeling.
I feel-imagine the energy running through like highways.

Remember, work from bottom up as the feet are your etheric plus pole where you want to pull the energy up and the crown chakra the minus pole where the energy exits in the shape of a petal. Energy is stored within the middle chakras.

Robert Bruce did try to keep his book as simple as possible but the mind split theory at the beginning surely is a bit hard to get through. You can jump to a desired chapter right away if you like, there is only little reference to the information found in the first chapters.

Dear bondgirl3007,

well it sounds like a lack of energy. That's what Robert Bruce describes in his book regarding this problem, anyways.

Do you practice energy work?

#271
Dear ridin0nthewind,

the creative mind always overcomplicates everything.

The most simple and easiest and direct method of exiting is by imaging a tiny cube out in front or above you depending on your posture.

Just keep focusing on it, but focus real hard. Don't think about focusing, just do it. Let in your mind only exist the cube a few feet outside your body. Don't wait for the exit sensations for you must ignore them or you lose your focus. They will probably come in very quick.

When I do this, usually within seconds something happens to me - often a beeping in my left ear or a sensation that the room is huge or actually smaller than me! Exit sensations are not something you want. If you let them distract you, you lose. You want to focus on the cube real hard. If you strictly do that, it'll happen every single time.
Just make sure you are relatively relaxed and it's very helpful to do a little energy work, so you have atleast a little energy stimulation in your feet, legs, arms, spine and facial area.

I like Bioshock. The plasmids are sweet!

Dear Stookie,

I am suprised that *you would still consume this spiritual poison  :| ?!

Especially Bioshock...now that you remind me of it, I remember having seen a number of demonstrations of that game, the atmosphere resembles the low, lower to lowerst astral as best as a computer game can.

The game starts with a plane crash into the open sea and the character escapes to the surface with burning plane leftovers around him and finds a light tower, steps inside and goes down to a hellish underwater city using an elevator.

Now, I find it so ironic when I consider that the man could've actually died in that plane crash BUT then finds himself in his astral-body on the surface of the water in the real-time-zone with the light tower being an astral element fused into the RTZ environment and representing a portal to the lower astral world.

Here's something very interesting I've just found on Google regarding Bioshock 2:

QuoteScout is a Plasmid in BioShock 2. It allows the player to turn into a type of "ghost" at will. Ghost form grants invisibility while moving, hacking, and using plasmids, but weapons  are unusable. The player's physical body will remain in the same place of the initial casting, and is vulnerable to attack. The player's ghost must return to the physical body in order to proceed with normal action. It is essentially a form of astral projection.

Only a limited amount of plasmids can be cast before the user has to return to their body. If the user's body is attacked, the user will automatically break from Scout form and return to it. The horizontal range of Scout is what might be, at most, a few hundred feet in the real world, at which point vision becomes blurred. Continuing further will cause a return to the body.

QuoteFountain of Youth will allow the player to gain health and EVE by standing in water, even while in scout mode, thus allowing the player to cast plasmids even if without any EVE. The regenerating effect only occurs if the Astral Body that you are controlling is standing in water; no EVE is gained if your Real Body  is standing in water while your Astral Body is on dry land.

Quote from: astralization on March 18, 2010, 20:24:06
Hello everyone, I have a short question. After you die, do you reincarnate into a different life or do you go beyond the physical plane. I have heard that some people say you must become enlightened and detached from all attachments in this physical plane to go beyond when you die. Is this true, there is a lot of confusion and I don't know what to think. What are your inputs on this?

Dear astralization,

yes it's true.

Over in the astral world people drink, smoke, walk and they have sex.
For some reason, the energy mind magnetizes to the ecstasy of physical pleasure.

Desire (=attachment) is a big problem, many people reincarnate because they have formed material desires in their previous lifetimes and over in the astral they realize they can only satisfie their desires by means of the physical body.

There are basically 3 options for these beings:

1) Go back to the material world and attach self to a person who is living a lifestyle where these desires are lived out. The attached entitity may experience some of what the person feels tho the entity will never be satisfied, the addiction is perpetual. If it likes alcohol, it will cause the alcoholic user it has itself attached to, to become more alcoholic and so on.

2) The entity could wait before a viable body comes available, which it is usually not the case i believe. There are many times more souls trying to incarnate than there are bodies available.

3) The entity could simply let go of it's desires and liberate itself from the material world that way. This is why the old masters suggested that people get rid of their desires during their current life, for they knew over in the astral world, everyone faces the temptation to come back again.

There are many more reasons for reincarnation.
There are communities in the astral who believe that reincarnation is for your own good - to learn and experience and others maintain that you reincarnate not for your own purpose but to help humanity and the earth ascend.

The truth is, none of it is true or real, it is all belief and system.
If one feels like he/she is done with the physical, then so be it and he/she should stay away from astral communities who think otherwise! Let him/her rise above.
Noone is any wiser because they are have a fine life in the astral realm with all those bling bling lights and heavenly cities, puffy clouds and trumpeting angels, in fact it is rather the opposite. The astral physics make possible for delusion of grandeur, completly off the scale compared to the material world.

What I am trying to do and what I suggest everyone should do is to purifie oneself from desire everyday atleast once.

Try to center yourself in the present moment and make yourself a mantra or so and while you're saying it mean it.

You want to be free from all material desire, center yourself in this moment neither in past nor future and not desire to be anywhere else than here and now.
Remember that dislike is also a form of desire.

Ive been planning to make a thread about desires because it's such an important topic.

Most people have no idea just how good and connected to the divine they'll feel when they let go off their desires.

I remember in the Necromancer's Lair in Dark Messiah a book said among other things something like:

magic is the setting in motion of universal forces by intention through associative symbols.

That was amazing wisdom for some gore killing game.
