Two main arguments I can see against the death penalty.

1. Juries make mistakes and convict innocent people. Top prosecutors are very good at getting convictions and dont care about whether a defendant commited the crime or not.

2. To say that murder is wrong and then kill people who do it doesnt really say that killing is wrong. It teaches revenge. I think it gives the wrong impression to children growing up in such a country.

I've just got out of prison after four years inside for moving money for some drug dealers. I met quite a few murderers who had been away for decades. A lot of them do change and I wouldnt be scared to have them live on my street. Of course some of them dont and I'm glad they are safely locked away.

Having said that though, this guy is a complete nut-job and I doubt he'll ever be safe to be released. But it's the act of a civilised society that waits to make that decision. The death penalty is just plain uncivilized.

The death penalty isnt self defence. It's revenge. Self defence would be killing someone who's trying to kill you.

To the death penalty guy: What do you think of countries who execute for crimes other than murder? Is that still a sane solution?

Doesnt it take most of us years between first hearing of AP and actually trying it? It must have been almost twenty years with me.

Yeah smells can evoke memories like nothing else. One smell can suddenly transport you back 20 years to something you'd totally forgotten. I think it's like an older part of the brain responsible for smell or something.

Of course they would. You've just filled it full of heat energy.

A little trick to amuse yourself though: Pick a spot on the table and imagine a big thick flame there, say 6 inch square. Hold the image for a bit making it real with intention. Run your hand over it and see if the spot feels hotter. If it works try it with other people.

Always unmake the flame afterwards though, or when you make it intend it to only last for a certain amount of time.

If you look down on people as being less than you then it does sound egotistical. Personally I dont though.

So the noise wasnt real right? No one else could hear it?

The most sensible guess I can make is that it was some sort of message telling you to use that mudra. If letting it go sounds an alarm it could indicate that whatever/whoever the noise came from thinks you should continue doing it.

Does it just feel like your hands are doing this or are they actually doing it?  If they're actually doing it I'd suggest relaxing more.

If not then idk. Maybe try moving them or willing them higher. They might have separated already, although I've never experienced partial separation while still having physical sensations.

i knew the lights in my sisters room were on, i could hear her on the phone, i could hear the television on, and yet i was also sleeping in my bfs place on the couch where i was sitting earlier. i woke up there, and our friends who were there earlier was there again.

Waking up in a dream is called a false awakening. It could be an obe, could be a dream. Hard to tell. Theres not a clear line inbetween.

Are you saying you were still aware of your physical self while this was going on? Thats pretty cool. I havent had simultaneous awareness like that very often.

Maybe she was the countess in a previous life.

Conflicting parts of your self can war with each other. She might want to start sending the countess PUL. If she's not lucid in the dreams she can do it from meditation.

So whats the difference from phasing and astral projection

Phasing is just a way to project. It's going straight from the physical to the astral instead of physical to RTZ to astral.

Pretty much.

Try falling backwards. That can put me into the void and you can progress from there.

Try and become aware of your body. That can put you into an RTZ projection.

If you can fly up into the sky at high speed thats supposed to be able to get you to the astral.

I guy called frank posted something he called the 'slats' method. You sort of imagine everything you're seeing is on a set of horizontal blinds. As you turn the blinds you can see whats behind(nothing). Once they've rotated 90 degrees the dream environment is gone and you are in the void.

I agree with NoY. All of life exists within us.

So if gods infinite. And within me exists god. Then within the god within me there exists another version of me with another version of god and so on.

Nah I didnt tell anyone. I think I just created something in a place where they already had something and they noticed.

Even if I'm right and they are real people, I'm not thinking of backing out cause I dont think I could prevail. It just doesnt seem worth getting into a battle with them over large sums of money. It doesnt seem like that sort of action is on the best path for my higher good. Lots of money would make things easier but isnt ultimately neccesary.

When you say you're getting pulled into your early images, are you retaining lucidity when it happens or are you just drifting into a normal dream? If it's a lucid dream then thats a success. Just zoom off into the sky or try and enter the void.

If you're not lucid then sure, give your idea try. The worst that can happen is it doesnt work. Dont let other people put you off trying new things. Experimenting is fun. Half of it wont work but some of it will.

I'm not saying everyone elses adice is bad. It's not. It's good advice. But dont be put off doing your own thing.

Ultimately I know the true essense of me is immortal. I know no one can really harm me. Even if you chop off my arm or something you havent made the true essense of me any less. Infact I'm more because I now have the added experience of knowing what it's like to have your arm chopped off.

But it must be frickin scary having your arm chopped off. I'm going to try and avoid it. It's undesirable.

It's the same with the astral. People can do stuff to you that you dont enjoy. Sure I'm ultimately safe but its still an undesirable experience.

But dreams and astral aside, you can cause people real physical harm without ever going near them. I've done it. I wont do it again but I know how easy it is.

Tried shields, tried all sorts of ideas.

Whatever it was I dont regard it as a nightmare. I value my dreams, even the "bad" ones. This was something else. I've got one other idea of what could have caused it(I did something else last night too). I'm going to test it tonight.

This will sound a bit crazy..but here goes.

I might be dropping out the group. Twelve hours ago I was definately dropping out.

I came up with what I thought was an original idea to combat the hopes of all the millions of players and to make it easier to force the draw. I had a good feeling about it. Last night I kind of half carried out this idea in thinking about how I would go about it.

Dont want to give away my idea here but while I was doing it I started getting visions. Basically it seemed like a couple of chinese looking guys were alerted to my presense by what I was doing to the machine. They didnt seem happy.

It seemed like I spent the rest of the night under psychic attack. If my initial feeling to what was going on is correct, these guys are already doing the lottery thing and have serious psychic abilities. I was getting sucked into astral environments against my will. It felt like my dreams were being invaded and taken control of. I was lucid throughout and couldnt change things, couldnt wake myself up or enter the void.

Occasionally I would wake up naturally but couldnt keep myself awake. The moment my eyes would close I would be sucked into another place. It took me half the night to improvise a way to protect myself and stay awake.

I dont have nightmares.

Just wanted to let y'all know what you might be letting yourself in for if your going to do more than just vizualise winning. I know, it sounds crazy...but thats what it felt like.

Could you describe these voluntary rushes in more detail please? What makes you think it's adrenaline?
