Facinating, in my astral experiences and that of other's, i have experienced and read about these cord like things attached at various parts of the body, so from my pereceptions, you most likely astral projected, lucid dreams and normal dreams are all out of the body, not soley created within the brain.

I have actualy heard of people experiencing OBE's while wide awake, I remembered one of one man who was giving a speach and to find him self above at an angle, no one noticed any thing ususual, his speach went on as normal, yet floating above and watching it...strange.

Yes, from the general impresions I get of many induced experiences, this seems to happen quite a lot, and also with me as well, its very confusing i admit.

Interesting question, I have had one experience where my friend layed 4 ft away from me as i was spliting, i heard him say "hey man, get up" and got the impresion that he wanted me to wake up, so i woke up and asked him, he was busy watching tv, i asked him if he said any thing and he said no, interesting still.

Sounds like your 3rd density transudcer is having problems with the energy streams here on earth, ok i made that up, except the 3rd density tranducer part, but yeah, as they said, its like a bandaid, i am not sure man, i would personaly steer clear of them.
