Sometimes you can go through stuff. Sometimes you cant. I've tried eyes open and eyes closed, forwards and backwards.

I've doubted whether I can go through something and then gone through a moment later. I've flown straight at something in full confidence of going through only to bounce back off.

I've wondered whether solidity might actually be a "real" thing in some non-physical environments. Like if the vibrational rate of the environment is very close to that of your projected body then they cant pass through each other.

Ether2, could you point me in the direction of any online communities discussing the sort of stuff you mention? I'm genuinely interested.

OP: If it feels like a projection call it a projection. If it feels like a dream call it a dream. If it doesnt seem to fit one then dont bother labelling it or just pick whichever it feels closest to. Thats what I do.

Maybe try some energy work. Not that you need to do energy work to project. But maybe you're in need of energy work in general. Like fate has stopped you projecting just so you would come here and have Pauli suggest energy work.

Whenever I've gone throgh a dry patch it's been a sign that I need to be doing something else, be that metaphysical, physical or whatever.

Anyone here ever projected to the rtz on a full moon? I've never been able to do it. The moon has apeared full to me while projecting but never on an actual full moon in the physical.

Hello Reyn.

With regards to progressive muscle relaxation, I'll quote Trancework by Michael Yapko.

QuoteThe tense-release protocol works, in part, because physiologically,
when a muscle tenses, it must relax before it can tense again. The muscle enters a
"refractory period." You can even preface the "sure success" of this technique with this
explanation of muscle physiology to the client. (What you don't need to tell him or her,
however, is that the refractory period lasts only a fraction of a second.)

Welcome to the Pulse :-)

Selea, you're clearly a very inteligent and knowlegable guy(or chick idk).

How much of your time do you spend engaged in these pointless arguments?

Dont you think that time could be spent much more constructively? I'm sure you know all sorts of stuff that I, and many others would love to read.

I find some of your posts very interesting. I doubt I'm the only one. But these massive posts on subjects like how Summerlander learned to play the guitar can put us off reading the others. Wading through the arguments to find the good stuff can be tiring.

There will always be people who disagree with you on the internet. Some people disagree in a grating manner. There's no point in arguing with them. There are better uses of your time.

I went through a short phase about a year ago where I was phasing without trying within minutes of lying down. Doesnt happen anymore.

I have long perionds when I wake up in the morning though where I watch stuff on my visual screen. But I rarely phase into it. I'm sort of between here and there just observing.

Most of my projections are just spontaneous ones during the night or dream based. If I had to go through the whole rigmarol of trying to project every time I wouldnt have anywhere near as many experiences.

Forgive my ignorance but I dont really follow global politics.

Is china just ruled by one nutcase or did a whole room full full of people come up with this idea?
#308
I've never liked the download idea.

Cant remember hearing anyone recount an experience that would support it.

However many ways you split your consciousness they're all you, not some temporary copy of you.

You could pay people not to donate organs.

My step-dad's on dialisys. I've wondered what would happen to him if he lived in america and couldnt afford it. Would they just let him die?

Farting awareness technique. LOL

Become the fart.

Drunvalo Melchizedek says that some Mayan Elder dudes hidden away somewhere say that their calander doesnt come to an end till early 2013. That theres some other factor that hasnt been taken into account yet or something.

But yeah, most of us need to be wiped out for earth to get healthy again.

I keep thinking I should read up on what wild plants you can eat and stuff just incase.

Any benifits from naturally breathing like this?

Aparently you get more oxygen. Something to do with the alveoli stretching vertically instead of horizontally. I cant remember the details but I read a book on pranayama once and it give a whole load of reasons why diaphragmatic breathing is better.

It was trying to get you to do yogic breathing where you fill from your diaphragm first and then your chest all in the same breath. It mentioned clavicular breathing aswell but said you got so little air from that part that there wasnt much point doing it.

If you're doing it naturally I'd guess it's cause you're not holding tension in your abs like most people do. I'm the same but I had to consciously change.

When I was a kid I was up a tree with my mate.

I fell.

In the moment I started falling time went into super slow motion. Somehow I managed to pull my mate out of the tree and spin us over in mid-air so that I landed on him to break my fall.

A person breaks your fall quite well. He wasnt very happy:-D

I've spoken to people who've noticed time slowing down when about to get knocked down by a car.

If I had been watching over you for 15 years and I finally got to meet you and have you acknowledge my presense I wouldnt tell you off for summoning me. I'd want to let you know how much love I have for you and that help is there.

Your reason for believing what you believe in is completely baseless to me, blis.

Fair enough. I guess we just dont feel energy the same way. I'm always noticing the energy in places and people(physical and non-physical). Different people have a different feel to me.

NoY's right as usual.

I dont know why I even bother reading these threads. Each time I see one I think, "pointless, not going to waste my time". But I always do.

People are going to keep asking the diffence between LD's and OBE's. The question is what are we going to tell them so that we dont keep replaying these same arguments again and again. None of us can claim to know we're right. Maybe we need a sticky outlining the most common views.

Concisveness :-P

I envy people with efficiency of language. I could never get within the word limits at school.

It's all subjective.

I think thats about the only thing we all agree on.

Out of curiosity, what, if anything, would constutite being "different" in your opinion? Have you had any non-phyisical experiences that you would classify as being different from a very lucid dream?
#319
Man I've had to turn of avatars cause your new one disturbs me so much.
#320
What do you mean by 2D? Like watching 3D stuff on TV or like side-scrolling drawings?

The closest thing to 2D dreams I've had that I can think of are top-down computer game like. Like the old zelda games or maps in modern computer games.

I've had a couple of cartoon dreams but they were like on tv - you can go round corners and tell whats foreground and background, look up and down etc.

#321
My experiences indicate that they are different. Not radically different, but different.

When in the RTZ I notice if I drift into a dream environment. I know the feel of the RTZ and notice when that feel is replaced with a dream feel. So I cant accept that LD's are the same as etheric projections.

If you want to say they're the same as astral projections though, I'm fine with that. It's too hard to draw a line location-wise.

But personally I dont reach for my AP journal unless the place's energy felt different to that of my dream environment. I dont get a WOW factor from the energy in my lucid dreams. I do from what I consider astral locations. Also, I dont sense any foreign energy from dream charcters and I definately do from "real people".

To me, saying all these things are the same is like saying SG-1 is the same as the Simpsons. They're both TV shows so I can see where you're coming from but I put them in different categories.
#322
Happens to me quite a lot.

Some of them I'm convinced are past lives. The memories and backstories are just too detailed. I suppose they could be other people's memories that they've decided to share with me though.

But some are just dreams. Last night for instance I was Jack Reacher - a fictional character from a book.

I've been Lisa Simpson before too. That was an odd one. It went between third and first person and was still a cartoon while in first person.
#323
I dont know where this trend of saying everything is the same came from. Sure they're similar experiences but there ARE differences. Might as well get rid of focus levels next - whats the point in differentiating?

What an odd thing for me to say. Maybe I shouldnt use either of them for the right.

Or maybe I should split my left into two and rotate one of them around behind my body to become the right.  :-P

Ok I can do that. I'll give it a go. I'll use clear quartz on the left and rose quartz on the left.
