I also recommend deleting your cookings (from the tool bar).  This has happened to me a few times as well, but is fixed in time.  It could also be the web page, not just your computer.

It is all a matter of perspective.  The problem is that man kind is under the assumption that perspective is truth.  The ideas or theories of one person does not create a world around those ideas or theories.  If a man runs a stop sign because he did not see it, does that mean the stop sign was not there?  The answer is obvious, and still in countless scenerios people try to argue otherwise.  God created everything according to His will, and no other truth exists.  Does the pointless opinion of someone who believes Gods will does not matter mean that it is so?  Some would say yes, for the simple fact that it exists in their mind.  But truth and reality cannot be undone by an idea or misunderstood concept.  If you died, the world would continue on it's path without skipping a beat.  So to believe that the world revolved around the perception of one persons mind, for the simple fact that it was ONLY in their mind, is sheer insane thought!

I would have to agree with Jeff's percpective.  Being alien to a world means that the laws of the world are not necissarily similar to your own.  Christ was not of this world not because He was not man, but because He was spiritual.  Spiritual abilities lie in the power of something other then our dimension.  Christ is not of Earth because He is of a spiritual heritage, not because He was from another planet.  Beavis, you state that what is overlooked is that Christ said He is God and not from Earth.  This is only true because He (like us all) were not born of Earth, but merely dwell on it for a short time.  What is overlooked in Christ is that He teaches us that if we have faith in God, we have His power.  There is not one of us on this planet that does not hold the potential to do exactly as Christ has done, because God created us in the very same likeness that He created Christ.  "He created man in His own likeness".  Christ was born of this earth for no other reason then to reveal the true light of humanity.  We are all spiritual beings, as He was, and our potential is no less, because God created us all as equals.  You say that Christ is an alien because He stated that He was not of this Earth.  In reality that would make us all aliens because none of us are of this earth.  We are created spiritually first, and temporally second.  This Earth is NO ONES home, only our classroom.  So, you would be correct in saying that Christ is God and that God is not of this Earth.  And that same is true of every human that has ever and will ever exist!

You had such an incredibly long post, that I didn't read it... and for the I appologize.  I am simply giving my response on the title of the post.  My only thought is this... quite recently astronomers have discovered that the light we recieve from stars may in fact have been slowed down during it's journey across space.  Though further research is still in progress, if this proves to be true then Einsteins theory of relativity will mean absolutely nothing at all.  If light from stars does in fact slow down, then this may support the idea of speed of light travel, because it would mean that the speed of light could be manipulated.  If the speed of light can slow down, then it's possible that it could speed up as well, which would shed powerful new light on the possibility of space travel!

Our potential is so great, that not even the sky is the limit.

Truth is that the world revolves around yourself?  Hm, in that case, BOW TO ME... AHHH HAHAHAHA!!!!

Don't remember Jesus ever claiming He was an alien.  If He was in fact an alien, what reason would the aliens have for doing this?  Wouldn't it be more likely that an enlightened Jesus would have revealed that his powers came from his alien heritage, and not from the creator of ALL life?  Why would He call himself the son of man if He wasn't human?  As for the star, it's hard to say, but astronomers have revealed that during the time Jesus was born Jupiter was the closest to earth that it's ever been since.  Recently Mars was in a similar situation, and if you saw it you know how bright that was in the sky.  Jupiter is the largest planet in our solar system, so it's brightness would have been much more intense then mars' was, and would have been noticably MUCH brighter then any other star.  You may say it's stupid that the star in the sky was actually Jupiter that the wise men were following, but why not?  If that is the way that God chose to lead them then why couldn't it be possible?  Nothing is beyond His will... and it's been said that He works in mysterious ways.  I guess in the end it all comes down to whether or not you chose to have faith in God, or try and find the scientific (though aliens isn't that logical either) earthly approach to everything beyond our understanding.

Personally I have found no evidence that you will be attacked because you are stoned.  I don't believe that any negative entities consider this factor when they chose to attack a projector.  I mean, the simple fact that you can project is much more concern for them then whether or not you are stoned when you do it.  As for religious ceremonies, all I've heard about is resen being used in certain tribal rituals.  But other then rostapharian (mispelled?) I have heard of no other religious factor using pot.  Note though, that if you are going to be stoned when trying to project your concentration may not be up to par.  I've tried concentration and projection excersizes on all kinds of drugs, and to date the most success I've had is when I'm completely sober.

I have a few minutes in each day to spare on things that may not be important to anything when considering the long run.  But hey.... "what if"?
#335
It doesn't seem necissary to be so worried about an event that (A) is something you will not likely see in your lifetime and (B) only a probability if man ever DOES walk on mars.  Don't take this the wrong way, but why in the world are you stressing about diseases from mars?

Welcome to Dreams! / Is there only one dream ?
January 04, 2004, 22:33:06
Several dreams in one night?  Try hundreds.  The average dream lasts 1 minute, but there is no period of deep sleep in which you are not dreaming.  What you remember from a dream may actually be a series of dream memories from the many dreams you have in the night jumbled into one combined memory.

Christ taught the same thing.  He argued against the priests in their own temples and synagogues because they were using their religion to prophet their own lives and not following what they taught.  Buddha, like Christ, taught to have love for all life, and all people.  In order to live such a philosophy you can't believe that someone is not your equal because of the religion they belong to.  Likewise you cannot judge anyone for being religious or not religious, you must treat all life with equal love.  Just as there are many different religions that worship Christ, there are many that worship buddha in different ways.  I don't believe that such seperation in their name was the origional intent.

That makes sense.  I can understand how one who knew concepts of math could find examples of math on a world that doesn't use math.  But one can never be sure of something universal unless one knows the entirety of the universe.  That idea however is more philosophical then mathematical of course.

Think outside the box.  In any new subject most people simply apply it to the world we live in.  But if you believe that our existence is not bound by the life we live in this physical world, then anything is possible, just not on earth.  There are laws that bind us in this world, created by God, that cannot bend unless it is His will.  However, to believe that we are also spiritual beings, then you must consider alternate dimensions and their laws as well.  In doing so you could say that anything is possible if you were in the right dimension to do it, but not anything is possible in every dimension.  We have created math with the assumption that because it is planetary, it is universal.  How ignorant we all are to believe that the universe revolves around our planetary systems of belief.  For all we know there could be planets that have evolved beyond math, or that don't even experience time as we do.  If there are life forms that can travel the speed of light, and we cannot, then they would obviously have a better understanding of math then we do, maybe even a different system of math all together.  My point is, perhaps anything IS possible for the simple reason that this planet may not know enough to make that decision.

In my opinion forgiveness is most helpful to the person forgiving, not the person being forgiven.  When you carry around anger or resentment towards someone it can hinder your daily life or progression.  Letting go of negativity opens so many doors to a better future self.  But I find that most people have a limit on forgiveness, which should not be the case.  Some things are forgivable, while others simply aren't, is the most common attitude towards the subject.  It's only untill you can truly forgive everything that you will be set free.  Forgiveness doesn't mean you have to remain in a bad situation though.  You can forgive a friend for doing something terrible, but you are not required to stay friends with them, if that makes sense.  Ask yourself how much you really can forgive though.  Is there anyone out there who would forgive Hitler, or Jeffrey Dahmer?  If anyone can say yes to that then you have truly reached a better level of humanity then most, because in doing so you have chosen to live with no negativity.

I tried this technique last night, and decided it wasn't for me.  Just as Jeff Mash said, my mind tried to find the answer to the question and I drifted off the topic entirely untill I was asleep.  I find that using a simple task such as breath awareness is more useful then making your mind work overtime to answer an unanswerable question.  Maybe if you simply asked the question over and over that could help focus the mind, but trying to discover the answer will likely make you lose your focus.
#343
That sounds like a pretty good method.  It's so strange (only to me) that you would bring up the color thing, because me and my friend were discussing that EXACT same thing last night.  It's a concept that I've never thought of before untill last night, and now to hear you say it kind of blows my mind.  Back on the subject though, this does seem like it would keep the mind occupied enough to stay away, so I think I'll try it.

Out of all the posts I've read I've never seen something taken out of context so extremely as your response to my response.  Good luck with that.

Welcome to Psychic and Paranormal! / wraiths?

No don't know anything about wraiths.  I did just get a private message from someone saying that YOU were one however, and that I must not reply to your topics because you will suck the energy from me.  Thought you might like to know that.

Read Christs teachings (which are nothing BUT love)... He makes even more sense.  Don't look at it from a religious fanatical point of view.  Simply let your curiosity drive you and read Christs teachings as you would read Socrates' or Einsteins.  Be open minded to it as a concept or idea, not as a form of religion.  The man knew what He was talking about.

Well, I guess it all really depends on your view of Karma.  Some would believe that when you do something negative to a person, then that negativity will come back to you in a similar or worse manner by some natural force.  I don't think this is the case.  I believe that Karma can exist on a level coinciding with the world we live in.  The actions that we take have concequences.  Take smoking pot for example.  Many people believe that it's alright, even natural, to smoke pot, and that any punishments that one recieves for doing so are completely illogical.  As this may be true on some level, it is simply not the case when our laws are concerned.  You can either decide to smoke it and live a paranoid life worrying about cops or getting pulled over for some stupid reason only to be arrested for a larger one sitting on your dashboard... or you can choose to not smoke pot, not because it is wrong, but because by doing so you no longer put yourself in such a risk to get in trouble for it.  Now right or wrong, if you smoke pot and get caught there will be natural punishments for you actions because of our laws, whereas if you do not smoke it then the risk of getting in trouble for it is gone.  So Karma or not, the choices you make will carry negative and positive consequences, regardless of personal belief, because of the world we live in.  The same goes for everything, smoking pot is just one example.

This buzzing, as far as I know, isn't very useful as an exit technique.  However I have had this my whole life, and can hear it any time I listen, not just while attempting and OBE.  It can be VERY useful as a concentration excersize to help clear the mind.  While attempting an OBE, listen to the "buzzing" and try to make it louder and louder, almost too loud to stand (though you will be able to) and you can use this to focus on.  Like breath awareness, it helps focus the mind on one simple task.
#349
Well, it certainly sounds like something.  If it your guide that you seek it I am assuming is it because you want to be assisted in something?  If this is the case, then your guide knows what is important for you better then you do yourself.  So what ever the experience, OBE or not, doesn't really matter.  What you should concentrate on is what you can take away from the experiences you do have.  Your guide may not let you progress untill you learn what you are meant to learn from what is being shown or told to you because only then will you be prepared for the next lesson.  Try not to label everything in technical terms like OBE or lucid dream.  Simply think of all of it as an important lesson that you MUST learn.  In any case you could always ask the entity, guide or not, what it's purpose is in your progression.

I think yes, this life is important to your soul, because there are lessons that must be learned that can only be experienced in the physical world.  I don't however believe that your car in this world, or your house in this world, or your anger in this world, etc... is important to the soul.  I don't believe that material things and negative aspects of this life are what the soul seeks to learn from this life.
