reread your post and just see for a moment how Leyla might, surprisingly enough, read the entire post as judgemental

Sorry, guess I don't know what you mean, coben.

This list of Leyla's in this thread, is not her own. It's a collection of other's material I've read before.

What parts she does claim as her own?

The door is open for what I said. Leyla opened it when she made her judgment on others. The Western Hemisphere covers a lot of territory!  [:)]

As above, as below has to do with microcosm and macrocosm principles. Judgment is a result (or so it appears). Judgment is not personal. Unless... you attempt to discredit others.

Manix,
Here's some more info on tornadoes which came in to me just now.Hope it helps.

"Emotions and urges against which we feel powerless, and which may become obsessive. See storm, wind" Storm says: "Anger, emotional outburst; feeling battered by events or emotions. Storm is approaching: a sense of difficult times ahead; anger or passion building up. Idioms: bend with the storm; storm in a teacup; take by storm; weather the storm." Wind says:"The movement of consciousness or mind; the hidden influences in our life; ideas and conceptions which move us. Flying with the wind."

Leyla,
No offense intended, but I'm not sure your aware of the intense anger your projecting. Spectral is right to let this argument go. You do seem to be as closed minded as the christians you want to persecute.Pay attention to what SpectralDragon is saying.

Your on a path of understanding with some things, however your not aware of the vastness of spirituality, and you seem to cling to some ideas that are of a dangerous and questionable nature. I want to warn you of this.

Fragmented information can be deceptive. Many have reached the point where you find yourself. My own experience has led me to the same realm you describe. For me, it was a passing phase, a dillusion to get past. Yes, it does have the appearance of higher astral, but it may not be. I've come far in my spiritual journey since then. I can only see your ideas as my own past misconceptions in my early learning and experience. The thing I didn't do is to get involved with these same notions.

Leyla, there is more out there. Be careful not to get stuck in these beliefs. I can't help but think that your unresolved issues with your earlier life and/or church experience has left you vulnerable to some things. Forgiving others including yourself may be a good start.

I get my experience from waking visions, knowledge doesn't come quickly, it comes in increments. Trying to disprove other's beliefs will get you nowhere. We all have our own path(s). Your revelations are premature. Stop judging others. Judge yourself first, it's interesting the direction it will go.

Manix,
Gray clouds are a mystery. I've seen them in the night sky. It could mean something is covered or obscure, yet to be known, future behind it. Why the color gray? A mix of white and black (and it's color meanings)? Or it could be relating to a black and white image, one thought being another level, or a level in between. That associated with materialism.More possibilities maybe.

Silver may represent gifts (after the clearing). Silver is often associated with the moon or lunar. Therefore, night or dark time, or power.

One of my last dreams had a funnel cloud and tornado in it. It was my first time seeing this in a dream. Before this, I thought of it being chakra activity. It can also mean disturbance I guess. I'm observing what this means in my life right now. It so far it has meant disturbance for me. Someone had a funnel cloud in a dream, but I don't recall any mention of difficulty following it. So, maybe it has to do with chakra activity, and it depends on the person, how the message or funnel plays out? I haven't had a clear dream since this one to help me understand more, or feel at more ease. The woman in my dream who took off into a storm, spoke of getting out of school and continuing her education.
quote:
She's the sort of person that is happy and cheery when you don't stand in her way, but will turn into a nasty beast if you defy, confront or annoy her in the least little bit.

Hmmm...At least your learning early about these kind. There are many of these kinds of people in the world. This kind is to be avoided the best you can.I have a friend who actually causes a little disruption with new acquaintances to see the person's reaction,in order to screen them out of his life. If the person doesn't get upset (forgiving), he continues the relationship. If the person gets out of sorts and has a tantrum, he breaks off ties with the person. For you, since it's your sister, just keep a distance the best you can. Things will get better for you. It's too bad your sister is the way she is.

Hi Mustardseed,
This is a good subject, and some very good questions. The people in dreams is something I look at closely. This is very challenging. I had a couple of dream people who have appeared in dreams before, show up again recently. The reason I'm so interested in these two repeaters is that my life took an odd and rough turn since they showed up. I've been thinking of posting a description of these two dreams with these two in it. One of them was seen while I was waking up in the middle of the night. The other was in a regular dream, the woman said something that could be connected to what I was yet to find out in my waking life.Either or both could be my aspect, I'm just not sure yet. I'm still trying to fit the pieces together. The popular other opinions is that they are spirit guides or angels.

It seems to be quite rare to connect a person in your dreams with another person, but why not? Anything is possible. By recording (and remembering dreams) I pay attention to waking life events that may connect with someone I have dreamed about.

Here is a link on mutual dreaming. I read it a long time ago.I need to read it again.

What are thise conditions.? I also asked RB what to do in my Lucid dreams, and was counselled to think in ways of healing , praying for world peace etc, however since my dreas are my creations how about using them to work through issues. Is that possible being Lucid?

I'm not aware of any conditions. I don't see anything wrong searching with the intention of self improvement.I think anything is possible, not restricted to lucid, or even the fact the other person may not be sleeping, if that's what you mean, MS. People have waking visions, synchronicity, and even moments of subconscious activity in waking time, why put a restriction on whether anyone is physically sleeping?

Blissful,
Re: Your accidental posting of a new subject. You can delete your posted message by going to the icon(top of page) at the site of your messaged post. I think you have to email a moderator to remove the new subject accidently posted. I haven't had to do that, so I'm not sure about how to remove a new topic.

Your right, there are not a lot of people who have shared dream experiences. If I happen across anything, I'll try to get you some more info. If you have been interpreting your own dreams for some time, I'm sure you have much of the intuition that is picked up by it.Good hunting on your quest. [:)]

Manix,
This dream book sounds familiar. It sounds like a good book to get a hold of (I collect dream books).

I have tried interpreting dreams by color, I failed. It seems that the color is an accent in dreams. More to emphasize something in a dream perhaps? Like a clue of a murky color suggests something different than a bright and vivid color. A dull or murky color is work in progress, to acheive a more advanced point. Plus, it's what the colors means to you in some circumstances. I have a dream book that states the value of the color is showing the level of dreaming you are on. A white dream for instance, is a high level spiritual dream. Regular color suggests material or earth plane location of a dream. So many ideas about color is out there. Another example, if you see a color you don't especially like, the hidden clue in the dream may be about something you don't like.I rarely have a black and white dream, but these may be the ones I don't remember. Black and white dreams have their own mystery about them.

Your vivid dreams sounds wonderful. It sounds like you are in a "good place". You may be seeing things on a positive and realistic level. Other words, in a beautiful way (your life, your home). I visited your area a few years ago. It's as beautiful there as you discribed. In fact, my youngest child was conceived there. I thought about naming her Virginia [:)].

Hi Blissful,
It seems that a person who is at peace with what their doing would not ask for Help. Since learning of other person's ability to control their dreams, I've wondered about the effect. I read people who have repeated nightmares or dreams not wanted, are advised to control their dreams. If this is a possibilty, and I've read continuously about  this in this forum, what can happen? One of the things I've come to believe is that we can interject alot of our own beliefs and ideas (true or false) in our dreams. I look for this in my own dreams. During my waking time I am very aware of my true motives and intentions. In my dreams, though very subtle, there are falsehoods. These may be innocent or calculated, this I'm not yet so sure about. Either way, there is a wish fullfilment aspect in dreams. Wishdreams may serve a purpose, but really doesn't go anywhere in the big picture of one's life. Maybe that's why I'm not too much into creating my own dream scenerios. For me, life is very much a single journey. This does not necessarily mean it's everyone's. However, in waking life, many people have codependency issues. This is something which may play out in dreams, I'm only suggesting caution.

Sorry Blissful, I didn't mean to through off your train of thought. You asked for help, I thought you were distressed about something. I was throwing in another prospective to the shared dream idea.[:)]

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Future Memories
April 30, 2004, 12:49:39
I've read about the idea that we plan our life before being born. I'm not so sure about this, but I do feel we know more of what's ahead than we sometimes acknowledge. Maybe we are ahead of ourselves in dreams and prepare for what we already know. This idea alo mentions that we set markers in our life. These markers are reminders for what we've had planned. For me, synchronicity does the same thing. I understand the markers too. For instance, when someone says something to you, you know where your future stands with that person. For me anyway, more often than not, the relationship is over or soon to end.

catalyst,
Dream 1 sounds similar to what several people have shared on the forum. Smooth mentioned it too. Shaman mentioned a similar dream in the Prophesy and Divination section.

Dream 2 with fog is something in the future. It hasn't become clear to you yet.

Dream 3 you mention murky swamp. This may also be something which needs to be separated and made clearer to you. Mud is more like this, but murky swamp does seem to mean about the same thing. What is unknown can be scary. I think that's why dreams bring on things slowly to our knowing or consciousness.

thelou,
Yes, I dream like this alot. It's like dreaming in a trance, and then I snap out of it before going to sleep.

VOODOO,
These dreams sound like normal dreaming. Lately I've been losing my dream interpretation ability (some would say I never had it[:)]).

A bridge (one near you in real life) is a good one. Bridge often means a crossing over to another dimension.

Your brother falling out of the window reminds me of the elephant dream I had many years ago. I still haven't figured it out.

I'll ponder your dream for awhile. The important thing is that the two of you have a good relationship. This is great.[:)]

Hyperblu,
This is some good advice for beginning to dream more. You remember your dreams more frequently than I did. Although I knew I dreamed, I would be lucky to remember a dream once a year.

Telling your subconscious you want more information is how to do it. Keeping a tablet and pen by your bedside is a good start toward this message getting received.

Just before I began having regular dream recall, the dream seemed like a cloud or skyward object just beyond my grasp.

I dream every night. The nights I don't remember, I do remember the essense of the dream. It seems the harder you try the less apt you are to remember them. Relax more, and get the most out of a good night's sleep. Sometimes a good sound sleep is more important than a dream recall.

VOODOO,
There is a lot written on this question you ask, and I lack the time to read up on other's opinions.I have many personal matters I have to tend to now, so I'll give you a quick summary of my own opinion and answer to you. [:)]

I had a dream about my oldest son dieing.I was very sad. Afterwards, I thought of it as a preparation. A preparation for separation perhaps. Understanding or learning about absence. In a spiritual sense, we are in this physical existence (life) alone. When you connect with the NOW truly, one must accept or trust that this (and others?) "loved one" is continuing on. And they are!  Oneness does mean Oneness.... part of the journey. A sense or feel you need to experience for a purpose, during your journey.

A time after this dream, I had more than one occasion in which I experienced in reality that which I had to "trust" that this son was okay (really), while at the same time, I had to continue in my own experience. This other experience is a different dimension (in a different place), and seems far off from one's loved ones.

I'm sure there are more immediate and simpler answers to your dream .

Are things okay between you and your brother?
#366
VOODOO,
I'll see if I can find some aura information for you. [:)]

I've been able to see auras for some time. It's not something I get into much (don't know why). Something that helped me develop was looking at a candle flame. A candle aura is what auras look like. At a safe distance and in a safe manner, observe this aura. Auras on objects and people vary somewhat. There has been threads on auras in various places on the forum, try the search for "auras" if your interested.

Let me know how your doing with learning how to do it. I'll look for some sites for you in the meantime. Auras are seen with side vision, not direct vision, if this helps. [:)]

lucid dreamer,
You may being shown what prophetic or psychic dreaming is about, this is great. Songs are connected with harmony, timing, rythm, and in synchrony. I don't believe there are coincidences (though misinterpreting something is possible).

Intuition helps, and the learning of patterns.

Hi Anton,
I imagine (visual[:)]) you can get more advanced by practicing visualization techniques.

There are other senses to work with too! For instance, practice by remembering sounds, feel, and smells.

Yes, the mind's eye is thought to be what makes visualization possible.

smooth,
I didn't know Sylvia Browne said that about orbs, that's interesting.

I've come to understand orbs are spirits.I don't know too much on the subject yet. I have come to "feel" in my dreams that when I'm an "observer", I'm in an orb form, sometimes invisible, or some form of energy or "spirit".

Hi,
I dreamed quite a few dreams about my dad after he died. Before, it was much like dreams of my mother, their in my dreams, just not visible. A dream or two of my sisters in a collective sort of sense(memories?).I had one sister hurt me bad in real life. I had a dream of her much later. In the dream I walked out of my bathroom (cleansing), this sister was standing in the hallway (transition), I pushed her down (violence on my part[:)]). That's the only violence I remember in a dream. My response to her in this dream didn't even come close to the violence she really did put on me. I'm a whimp in real life.[:)] That's okay though, I watch from the side lines(aura) what people do to each other.

Lenny,
When I first read of this subject, I was fascinated by it. I take a guess it's yes to all your questions. Afterall, if you think about it, isn't waking life alot of common and shared experiences?

I read somewhere that a shared dream may happen when two people are connected and a shared dream would benefit both in someway by the message. This makes sense to me.

Bissful,
A gut feeling is the same as an intuitive feel. Hard evidence is the same as manifested in the waking world. Both these things require some interpretation. There is such a thing as wishful thinking too.

Querty,
If the other person doesn't relate to your experience, this may be an example of wishful dreaming. A person in your dream could be an aspect of yourself your seeing in the other one.

Welcome to Dreams! / Weird dream
April 20, 2004, 12:10:58
beavis,
Okay, this is a tough one. I was a little thrown off by the two symbols.I've seen the stargate symbol before,it's a circle symbol. Now I'm thinking, you had already gotten there by way of the blue O. O is the shape of the symbol your talking about, right? A circle means cycle, continuous, and also means birth canal. Once your are before this(in your dream) being, you have another choice.Apparently you have been given an offer. I don't understand why the word death would be used, unless, it's what you would perceive as death? Why say this to you? Could it be that you have not delved into certain or all aspects of death, and this old man is giving you something to consider? With that aside, it leaves Earth or Magic. I wonder if your going too far? Are you doing something which may effect your physical structure? You already made your choice, you chose the Earth (plane). The sky scraper or tall building reaches great heighth. By touching on this RED O, you might have absorbed something, and brought it back with you? You mention being in the top floor of the tall building, not that you were standing on top of it, so maybe, a little bit of a safety factor? You are bound by the laws of the dimensions you choose? Death is something you should possibly learn more about(in a spiritual way?).

I've read, and also just recently, somewhere on this board, there is a time to think on grounding yourself. Maybe some balance with earth contact, unless...you have other ideas.

I believe there are times of choice when we are at a crossroad (earth rules, anyway). What is chosen at the time determines the future of one. This applies to death as well as journeys to death (in the physical sense).

I have had a wide variety of dream experiences. One morning I awoke but hadn't opened my eyes. A woman's voice said very clearly, "You don't have to wake up." As I lie there still half asleep, I thought this is it! I changed my mind, I opened my eyes and another day has begun for me. I felt that was a close one. [:)]

I also believe I got mixed up in an energy problem once. It took a lot of will power and work to get myself back together physically. Be careful is all I know to say.

Could it be you should learn more about the process of death, then you may not have to choose between one or the other? Just an idea. What do you know about death? Half my spiritual journey through the years I have discovered involves the death process. It about endurance, understanding, realizations, health, and a whole lot of things. It's not about what is commonly seen as death. Death and life are interwoven, learn the journey of both.

Interesting[:)]

Of course there is symbology with numbers. Figuring them out is the challenge. [:)] It seems your thinking along those lines. Try getting numbers to speak to you in the now. 3+6=9 9= Almost complete, almost there, 10 is next.Where can this fit for you right now?
