and you're assuming that i have one large fear that's preventing me from "seeing the light."  this simply isn't the case.  like most people, i have a plethora of fears.  

most center around these basic concepts

1. what is going to eat me
2. what i'm going to eat
3. where am i going to eat it
4.  water.

anyway.. maybe someone should actually answer the rest of smiley's question... oh reason...

1.) some entities have affinities for certain kinds of energies and hate others.  you'll find that garlic deters entities that aren't compatible with garlicness- even if this entity is part human.  there are a host of symptoms/side effects/unpleasantries that are associated with being an entity that is a "psi vamp."  one of them, depending on the intensity of the lunar aspect (in this case, any energy not compatible with sun energy)  of the entity, is sensitivity to sunlight.
2.) as for what the pros and cons are- that varies.  imagine having a personality and constitution that aren't very adaptive to human life.  you'll come up with your own.
3.)weaknesses?  if they are psi vamps because they just want to take energy, then none that i know of.  if they are psi vamps out of a real need for energy- well... symptoms vary.  i've heard of sunlight/light sensitivity, food sensitivity, sensitivity to high energy environments, emotions etc.
if you want a natural psi vamp off your back go solar.

even if they did bump into each other- it seems like the experience was a positive one and no less important.  maybe they'll hang around him, if they mix well with him.

the point that i was trying to make is that there isn't an "invincibility moded" that people can switch into when they feel threatened.  yes, calling down light from above is an effective deterrent- if you have enough intent.    

it all depends on the person's intent- you're right. but what happens when the other entity is more intentful than you?

don't mislead the child.  i've experimented with vampirism and white light shielding "from above" and found it completely useless and unfounded.

what it all boils down to is which person is more powerful.

and there are certain entities- some part human- that need energy that has already been digested by organisms.  they can't get it directly  from the sun as it has a dispersing factor- something that a very lunar organism does not enjoy.

i would not consider these entities "lower" in any way- only one more species of animal.

i practiced tensegrity for two years, multiple hours every day and have had more success in one month with NEW than the entire two years with "tensegrity"

i got through school and learned some very important things from some very good teachers.

my psychic front is doing just fine- i am not the exception.  education is not a big devil- propaganda is and if you're not smart enough to rise beyond it then you aren't smart enough to realize that 2+2=5.
