Welcome to Dreams! / Advanced biological attack.

volcomstone,
The important thing is that you are immune and invinsible. You may be effected (infected?) someway by your environment. Something forming on the skin is manifesting issues. It's not always as serious as it appears, you would know. Spontaneous stratches for instance, can be a matter of a habit, whether good or bad. A scabby sore may be an irritation that has been around for a while.Red is inflamed, perhaps anger issues manifesting. Anything happening lately, or is there something you need to tend to?

quote:
After that i awoke in a hospital (still dreaming), i had a scar on my arm, it was in the form of a triangle with a symbol in the middle. I then talked to other people who had similar scars in different shapes such as squares etc, a nurse said it was so they could tell who was "infected" and to what degree. She also said it wouldnt affect me for 6 years and that by then the government will have came up with a cure.
After that there was a feeling of fun in the air, everyone comparing scars etc, maybe it was like in world war where people just get on with it and be thankful for what they have.
RooJ:

This is much along the same lines body-wise. Everything does turn out for the best, in the long run. Shapes and where their located on the body may be a clue. I've heard the skin completely replaces itself every 6-7 years. I notice I go through big changes about every 6-7 years. One does have control and adaptability regarding body care and health.

There probably is a connection about this on a bigger scale, but I don't know what that would be. [:)]

Welcome to Dreams! / Weird dream

beavis,
I have a little old fashion take on your dream. This is an important dream. An old man may be your guide or higher self (wise old man). Your given a choice between two(?). I personally don't believe there is limited choice. It sounds from the dream that the red portal still gave you majic, although you chose the blue. The colors can also represent hot and cold (opposites or contrast?).The cup from my own experience represents manifesting. You created it and your using it someway. The color orange is often connected with psychic ability and/or perceptions. You made a potion like in wizardry.Have you noticed anthing different lately which you may have produced? Greek God (Zeus) may be about the authority to, or the ability, or just empowerment to do so. The choice you are given may be a test. How do you feel about having to make choices? The high building is often the meaning of higher understanding, possibly mental origins since buildings are often symbolic of the physical body.

VOODOO,
Your fortunate to have such a wonderful dream to remember. It's odd, but I don't recall ever having a dream with any of my grandparents in it. I did have one strange dream I cannot remember in which I may have visited them in a dream. The only thing I experienced was the feeling of missing them.

Lickerish's quote:
When I encounter dream people the experience is true to life.

Beachmaster,
I have to agree with what Lickerish has said. You are showing and expressing the same thing. I find that this is the very thing which drives people to make decisions based on avoidance of being alone. Your dream is showing you something very important.

VOODOO,

one of my (two) grandpas died a few years ago and i never dreamed with him... and while he was alive i can recall only one dream... we're sitting in front of his house on a porch and are fishing in a water that filled the yard...

but... still... i have had no dreams about my grandpa who died just three weeks ago... i mean i dreamed the whole thing before he died but nothing after that...

This is a very good question. I wonder the same thing about my own grandparents. I had just written in a reply to holy reality about this subject. So far, I have a feeling my grandparents have something to do with my soul progression.

An exercise I have been trying lately is kind of interesting. When I'm at work, I think about those people who aren't there on this given day. Thinking about what or who is not there awakens an interesting aspect of our waking life. I feel my waking life is a pulsating off and on of consciousness and unconsciousness.Picking up on those equally present, but absent and invisible things is a skill gained. It's a good memory exercise.

There is something about fishing that brings about some interesting revelations! It always has for me.

holy reality,
Excellent insights into your dreams. About fire. Well, for starters, it's one of the four elements, Earth,Wind,Water, and Fire.It naturally occurs. The most common thought about your use of fire in dreams is as a blockage or an obstacle.Yet, you use it for a good time. You must use it in two ways.Fire is energy, often considered male energy. Other connections with fire are Sun energy, anger emotions, aggression, sexual, lower chakral flow, fear of. God is also associated with fire. In Chinese astrology fire is a normal cycle, fire destroys wood, water destroys fire for instance. Good reading if you ever want to get the feel of these cycles.

How are you using fire energy or power? Blocks are obstacles in the way for your own protection.

There are two kinds if light, Sunlight and reflective Moonlight. In order to see in the dark or recesses one must see the light. Trees represent existence, your seeing a Christmas tree, your playing around with it. Buildings represent the mind and thinking issues in some respects. It also represents the physical body. You have trapped a woman in a burning building and you have accepted her demise. You write as if you don't know this woman. In due time, you will.In the meantime, everyone you know gets out alive. Another word for explosion is ignite.Passion? Passion being what excites or ignites you.

Why this? I don't know. I have had only a few dreams with fire, several involving Sun energy:
1. Candle in a typical yinyang scene. Dark with light over  the hill.
2. An explosion (only one I can recall) and fire in a court room.
3. The sun reflecting off my vehicle's window producing a light glare. I am light, I am the sun sort of message.

Instruments of music is about harmony. Your developing harmony skills. This is showing progression in your path.

The TV set and the message you don't want to hear. That's what we do to protect ourselves from, those things we are not ready to hear or understand. On the other hand, there are misconceptions, lies, and head games. These things are real too. You may be sensitive (aware) of the power of lies to feed and message lies to you. This is why ugly shows through as well. What something looks like on the outside is not necessarily what it looks like inside. Often these images is your own working through to perfection of your inner parts. Have you ever been watching someone, hear their words and see something ugly inside them? This is your third eye vision. Your dreams are working you through to understanding more about this. Those things about yourself and possibly about those who you encounter in daily life (glass and mirrors).Same thing with fire. How do you relate to fire in your own personal waking experiences?

Your dreams show a lot of clarity of what you already have. Great dreams. I think of generational things when it comes to grandparents.I don't fully understand that part either. Time will tell.So far, I feel that my grandparents have something to do with my soul progression.

Doom2Alpha,
That very well could be. I'm still trying to figure that out myself.[:)] I did see my aura coming out from the top of one of my kid's head one morning.I wonder what I was up to?

Hi anonymous,
I have had dreams of being inside domes. One dream in particular stand out. There was a window on top of this dome. The window was dark outside(my own journey). The strange part came when theater popcorn toppled onto  and outside of this dark window. I had the feeling of being watched, and the entertainment.

The fusing of vehicles is familiar to me. Had a toward waking up time dream. I jumped from different positions in three different cars. The three cars were moving along a road.At some time I was the driver, the front seat passenger, and a backseat driver. It became one vehicle and I was in three places at once in this car. I (we?) came up to this large house on a hill. The house was foggy (not coming in clearly). There was one parking place available (the cars from earlier were already parked in front of this house on the hill). As the front seat passenger I noticed there was a possibility that this car was going to hit the rear quarter of one of the other cars already parked. In the dream I then realized it wasn't going to happen. I took over as the driver and pulled into the parking without incident.

Just then, my doorbell woke me up.I went to the door. There were three people there, the significance, I don't know.

Transplutonian,
I didn't mean you are over analysing.[:)] It just seems to me that many of the answers come to us over time.

Yes, geography is an interesting part of dreams. There are navigational clues and directions. Have you ever read about Feng Shui? That subject may give you a little insight into directional energy (chi). I find this system hits on a lot of truth. I understand the air aspect, but I was rather drowned(pun) by the water information. The water aspect of FS I could not connect with.I don't know why.

Welcome to Dreams! / Recurring themes

T.
quote:
I don't attach any significance to it.

I don't care for the phrase everyday dreams. Yet, those kind are as significant as life itself. If I had met someone who I soon later dreamed about, I would look into a little bit.Since you shared a past time or experience this person, what are you recognizing about that person that can be applied to something happening to you now? If everything in our waking experience is in perfectly timed (synchrony), why did you happen to see that past fellow student that day?

quote:
Now if I dreamed of that person walking down the sidewalk of my home town while dragging a fifty foot log chain and carrying a Barbie Doll and the next day I actually saw them carrying out the above, then that would be disturbingly meaningful...

Does a message have to be extraordinary? I have found that certain people in my real life play roles in my dreams. It's difficult to discover what this is about. If this person makes another appearance in your dreams, it may mean you need to look further into it.

I had a dream once of my next door neighbor cutting my grass. When I thought about it while writing it in my journal,I remembered he had cut my grass in real life some time in the past (a couple of times). The shock came when I went outside later that morning, this same neighbor was coming from a neighbor in back of me pushing a lawnmower. The scene looked the same, except he was in a different place in the backyard. He made the comment,"I have two mowers, and neither of them will work."He chuckled. This seemed to be a lot of things to try to figure out here.In the meanwhile, newer dreams takes this dream's place.

If I had dreamed of this neighbor once, it may have had a different meaning.I had several dreams of this neighbor after this. In less than a two year period this neighbor died. There was another interesting connection with this neighbor. His significant other also died rather young a few years before. She had made contact with me after her death. Her message was simple, "I died." She tried to tell me this for a couple of weeks by turning on a kitchen light, which happened to have been broken for a long time. One day it finally dawned on me. I ran next door, and found out she had died two weeks before.

Transplutonian,
quote:
Again, part of this dream may have been triggered, as I passed the above mentioned person on the road while actually driving yesterday morning.
Are you saying that you saw a former old peer on the road, and you had a dream about him a few days before?

I've been trying to figure out what passing someone in the opposite direction, means in dreams.
quote:
I dreamed last night about walking alonside a local road for quite a few miles, wearing pajamas(lol), and carrying a plastic bag containing a semi-spherical piece of steel. I was on my way to a welding shop(which existed only in my dream at that location) to have it cut in half with an acetylene torch. When I arrived, the guy who ran the shop(whom I had went to school with) told me he had no torch. I then walked back home.

Wearing pajamas, I suspect this dream is sleeping related(sleep walking?).What your wearing is often how you think someone perceives you. And your moving on foot, in touch with the ground. Your trying to change or fix something. The tool isn't available at this location. What could torch mean?Something contained in plastic? Is this something packaged for later use? Something you put away until now?
quote:
Another theme that reoccurs (which I had forgotten about until I dreamed about it last night), is that occasionally I dream about areas near here which are geographically seperate, but in my dreams are adjacent.

This isn't clear to it's meaning.
quote:
More commonly, however, the local landscape is altered in my dreams from that of the waking landscape.

There are various points of view.
quote:
In general, an alteration from waking reality seems to be a component of all my dreams.

I think this is when your making adjustments about things.
quote:
Is this the general experience of anyone else?

Well, I know if someone is having a problem with bad dreams, it's often suggested to change your dream. For instance the statement, "If you can change anything about this dream, what would you change?"So, this must be common.

Transplutonian,
Sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the complex maze of dreams(over analyze). Personally, I don't try to come to conclusions about anything. Right now I'm in a phase of not remembering my dreams. I still have the essence of the dreams. I believe there is a reality other than this waking one. I believe part of it is about learning to navigate this other realm(s), and the dreams provide clues.A field in a dream is getting close, for instance.A field can mean a field of vison, a portal of sorts.

I have noticed songs, stories, commercials, and many such things have a lot of subconscious indicators in them. I suspect most creative things come from dreams. I believe this less when it comes to what appears as destruction. Destructive aspects tend to be wrong thinking or out of balance emotional issues. This is not the same as prophetic dreams.

VOODOO,
Is Equalibrium a movie?.....Okay[:)]

I can quickly tell you what I know on the subject.More will get picked up on by experience, and with time. Some things you cannot hurry.

A few years ago my deceased mother-in-law appeared in a dream. I knew she was dead.I always know when a person is deceased in my reality, in my dreams. Not everyone dreams this way. Some dream about the deceased as if their alive in their reality.I don't know the significance of this difference. Anyway, I'm staring at Martha (mother-in-law,and better yet, a good friend), I'm thinking, "she's dead, yet she is right here in front of me." I was shakened and frightened. I couldn't understand what she was doing there. She looked like a zombie.Eventually she made a turn to her left and walked through this door. The dream ended.Either the same day, or maybe the next, I received some important news about my son (her grandson). What it all meant then, and now, I still don't know.

A fairly recent dream I had involved a dream character. This dream character may have been a male aspect of me, not sure. I saw this fairly young man unconscious leaning against, and into a wall corner (this dream had repeated itself). At one point a small board fell from above him and hit him in the head. He then came to life. He began walking toward me like a zombie. I was frightened. He got a hold of me and assured me that averything is alright. I felt good about the experience.

What I suspect, we (the living) visit the deceased in dreams. I had a dream (more like out of body) a few years ago in which I returned from a visit with deceased relatives. I woke up missing them terribly. It was very weird!

I had a dream recently that I consciously said that me and my mom just returned from seeing aunt & uncle so and so(They had both had recently died, weeks apart). The two of us (mom and me) were walking down this street. My mother (who I couldn't see in the dream) said, "And there is Bob!",she then gave a little chuckle. Bob (deceased cousin of many years) was sitting in this truck parked on this sidewalk curb. It didn't look like him. Bob was the deceased, and only son of my aunt and uncle who had recently died. Dream ended.

I had some dreams of my dad since his death about 5 years ago. I guess I had to work through some feelings about him during this time. At first he looked like a devil to me(slanty red eyes). Eventually it(the dream), moved to him being a sick man. The last time, I had a creepy dream, where I could swear he was really just outside one of my bedroom windows(he looked like his normal self!). This was the last visual dream. Once I had some shadowy person sit next to me while I was in bed sleeping. I had the feeling it was my dad. I was creeped out by it all. I asked what this person wanted, but nothing was said.

Well, that's about it in a nutshell for what I know so far. If I read anything of interest, I'll be glad to let you know. Oh, I might mention, my daughter spoke of a couple of visitations by her grandpa. She said she can smell his presence. I think that might have happened to me once too.

holy reality,
So far, it seems your dreams are about as normal as they can be.I wasn't familiar with Maynard of Tool, I checked out a list of their songs. I see a lot of key words which tell me they must express a lot of subconscious symbolism in their music. Music relates too, of course about rythm. I notice in particular, drums. This song that Maynard sang I'm not familiar, but the name tells me it's about negative (vibes?) about female characteristics. In short, about a normal transition taking place. I can't think of the special name given to this metamorphous.A closer word, but I can't find it in my dictictionary is morphidite(something like that).I read in this one dream book about this. I also have reached that stage in my dreams. I believe the goal is to reach the level of the maximum male/female combination. A super structure of sorts. It's quite astounding if you ever get a vision of this combo creature! There's more progress after this, but I believe this is a stage your working on.If I can find the book with this info, I'll write more on it. I had the experience before I ever read about it, so I know it isn't something I dreamed up.[:)]

In the meantime, you may very well be your own demon. Again, a transitional thing happening. I can't help but think that your being too critical or hard on yourself. It doesn't take much for a person to get angry with oneself. I had to experience this just last week. Once I had identified my own self anger (directed at myself), I got to feeling better. Until then, days had passed with me having these awful and doubtful feelings.Things like that just can't go on for me! Something has to give! I don't know how other people live with these feelings? I suspect thay do. For me, the feel is too unbearable to hang onto. So far, I can readily i.d. self anger or punishment. Once it's identified, the problem seems to take care of itself. Could the rape rage have to do with this maybe? It's sounds like a more intense anger than what I've experienced myself as a female.

The dream with the gun or gunshow is foggy to me too. I have had a few dreams early on, similiar. They are long gone now which leads me to believe I've processed these things unconsciously. And in part, I find them to be an integral part of my personality (a bit on the fearful side). How the symbols breakdown, I'm probably too close to it, to be able to help in this area. Moving on to the cub scout part. This part I suspect to be your innocent child aspect.
You understand where all the characters in the dream are coming from. The surprize was when the policeman accidently killed the child. You can feel remorse. Police are generally seen as restrictions a person places on themself. You felt no anger toward the police, and instead, did notice the tradegy of the event, and this is good. These characters seems clearly to be aspects of yourself that your playing out. Your friend's part, I can't say for sure. The good thing is to remember, these are transitional, most likely. The stories will continue(with or without you knowing it). Eventually you will reach a more advanced dreaming state. You seem to be working through normal things.

Later dreams will show you more. Some dreams don't get explained later, but many of them do, in a collection of information sort of way.

A note about oppressive surroundings. I've had to deal with teens and other growing up issues with my kids, especially the last five years. I know about oppression now. [:)]

Transplutonian,
Driving is a common dream theme for me. I can agree, navigation is involved.MY dreams are about going somewhere, and the discovering and learning the messages along the way. Even though I believe all dreams are obe, it's the astral type dreams I concern myself with navigation and finding my way back (unless in a airplane or rocket now). This was more when I was younger and doing a lot of lucid dreaming and mental travel. Now I do more ground based activities. I don't recall any cave dreams. I had a couple of experiences of being part of earth, and at least once, like a little earth tremor I felt myself coming out of the ground. There was vibration which I could feel, I became scared by it.

There is a lot about vehicles in learning about dreams. There are so many ways of looking at vehicles, like energy movement, physical body, and other such ideas.

There's so much to learn on this subject of vehicles. I'm sure there's a lot about the underworld too, this is so intersting too.Since I don't experience much of 2., I must not have come to that learning level yet. My ground breaking experience was quite frightning!
quote:
If I were to try to attribute meaning to them, caves may symbolize the subconscious or the underworld.

Yes, I think so too.
quote:
Regardless, I love dreaming.
My dreams are usually very vivid.
I usually remember some upon awakening.
I never have nightmares.
A couple of times I have had flying experiences.

Same for me. My last nightmare was Jan. 1,2003. I have to really work on remembering dreams. Not all my dreams are vivid, but always in color. If the colors are absent and black, white, or gray, I have to still learn what those kind mean.

I wouldn't be so quick to come to this conclusion. As I recall, you have mentioned some misgivings between you and your mom. This may have some effect on your reading of her aura.

Hi DOA,
This is a dilemma. Here is a link to something "Berserk" said.I don't know if this will help or make things more confusing for your decisions.
http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=11009

Personally, I live in a constant state of acknowledged fear. [:)]So far, my decisions have turned out fine. If I had some real bad feelings about something, I would think twice about it. I may live in a state of fear awareness, but I also balance it with reality. Most fears are just fears.I lack the ability to distinguish between fears and true intuition messages. I depend on something higher than myself for the bigger decisions, and protection, especially when it comes to my kids.

About a year or so ago, one of my sons and I took a trip together to see my mom. I had no clue we would not finish that trip. One of my bushings(something to do with the shocks) broke in two. We were stranded mid-trip, and in the middle of nowhere. We began walking, within minutes a car pulled up and offered us assistence. We got in this stranger's car.She said her husband is a mechanic. She drove us to an even more remote location, the perfect setting for something to go wrong (scary). As it ended up, she really did have a mechanic husband. The car did get fixed, and by the end of this day, we turned around and came back home. There were no phones to use, and my son's cell phone was mysteriously dead!.My son has not traveled with me anywhere again [:)].The whole thing was rather creepy, but we came out okay. I decided it was time to get more reliable transportation.

Things can happen on trips. This story is just to show how vulnerable we can be sometimes. I don't mean to scare you.

Tayesin,
Yes, this is all very true. It's unfortunate that women's groups also have a tendency to take the same routes as special interest groups. Until then, things will remain out of balance and confusing to most.Groups are busy accusing and claiming to be victims, instead of building something independently.

SmilelySpirit,
So many deaths dreams?! Death is often the end of something. Death is part of life, not the end result. Like Nay says, the end of something is replaced by something new. Could you be going through many changes, therefore many kinds of deaths toward this change(s).

How did your aura readings go? Are your parent's sick?

Over the past weekend I had many dreams about babies. I see that as a beginning of something new.I must have already completed some kinds of death stages to come to this dream awareness. Our subconscious shows us some things, not all things. I do remember having some sleep disturbances and whacky waking experiences before these more pleasant dreams came along.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Is it an aura or not?

Okay,I had an aura session last night.Read a few with their knowing it. Nothing special and my lack of practice was showing. One of the gals there was showing the rest of us a talent she had. We couldn't think of the name of it, but it's when someone can hold a personal object of someone's, and get a feel for something about the person.
Wow, she was good at this!.She read me like a book! She discribed it by actually feeling this pain I've been suffering for a while (a severe left arm pain). In the meantime, another woman stepped up to offer me a message. I took her up on it. Wow again, this awful pain I had suffered with for weeks was gone, although the soreness of the muscles remained, this part was nothing compared to this other pain. I felt great! A few minutes later, the first gal said to me, "you've never given me an aura reading." So I did. Wow! She had all kind of energy. It was one of the best aura readings I had experienced. She had a cross symbol in her aura. She was taken with that observation, and explained how a cross was in her aura. She said she reacted strongly to my observing her aura, and added that she most definitely would have been aware if I had tried to read her without her being told beforehand.
