I think that there is a confusion between surface thoughts and instructional thoughts that inhibit people from learning this core skill. Surface thoughts are random instant messages that you suddenly think up out of nowhere. Whereas the instructional chain of thought is also thinking, it is focused in getting the random thoughts to quiet down so you can concentrate on one problem/thing at a time, bringing more of your attention and energies on to thinking/focusing towards fixing that problem.

Dr LeDoux disagrees with that sublime. The amygdala is the seat of emotional thought. It triggers off emotional "hijacks" in which emotions override all rationality.

If you want to know about the amygdala, read the book Emotional Intelligence and read up on some of Dr LeDoux's work, which is a breakthrough in understanding the emotional brain.

As for this funny sensation you're talking about, I think I've done it before. Not nececcerily a "pop," but it makes you feel really light headed and wierd. I feel like something is tickling the back of my brain at first, and then I keep it going using my will.

You're dead on Shaolin. According to my sources, ki is a spirit energy channeled to enhance martial arts. I have found various links to an Aikido network that uses traditional "ki practices" with their Aikido. I also know a lot of people who have done Aikido and their sensei knew about the energy called ki and could feel virtually no pain when students tried to hurt him.

But of course, the normal population mixed the ideas of ki/chi/etc. with TV, confusing the line between reality and entertainment, and started a huge group of people who practice "popular ki." Aptly named because that's exactly what it is. It's popular, but not nececcarily(sp?) right.

BUT! I have to disagree with you on the fact that it's not the "typical" anime type. Anime is Japan's equivalent of Hollywood in America. They have all sorts of genres, ranging from the superviolent and I think retarded DBZ to the amazing works of Neon Genesis Evangelion and of course, Spirited Away.

There really isn't any typical anime out there. There's all sorts of styles![|)]

Well I would talk to the aliens if they just gave me a chance. According to Mr Bruce in PPSD, Greys are Negs. Just like demons, astral snakes and spiders, et cetera.

But other aliens, such as the annunaki, I will be open to conversation.

Like I said, if I had the chance, I'd talk to a Grey. But all they do is sneak up on people and take them away whilst they are traumatised by subconscious memories of the abduction.

Humans are sure as hell not the greatest race out there. I know that much.

Chris, a few things that will make people NEVER EVER believe you or respect you in any way.

One - you are a starting member, most of us are higher ranked than you, therefore most of us higher ranked ones have more experience.

Two - You type in all caps. Only no-brainers and sluts do that.

Three - You're spelling and grammer matches that of my 5 year old cousin.

Four - You act as though you know everything about "ki and everything else that pertains in life" when you probably haven't even OBEd.

My guess is, you're just a sad 10-12 year old desperately crying out for attention. Get over yourself, nobody will ever take your "mystical challenge" because really, there are no real rewards on the other side. Everybody knows that if you want to learn something spiritual, you gotta do it yourself.

Kiflarer, I said I didn't believe in any "demonic war." Who says they will die by fighting? Who says there will be any fighting in the first place? It will most likely be a geological event caused by the annunaki that we can't control. Or something like that. And grays? Yeah well it would be fun beating the pulp out of the bastards but seriously, they are masters of telekinesis (apparantly), I mean, there's gotta be a reason why their heads are so huge.

I admit however, I did believe there was a war coming for some time. But really when I looked at what I was feeling I only felt a strange presence, like something alien (not space-alien, just, outside the norm []) was coming. Anyhoo I felt it would be significant, like most other people on the forums did (see kakkarot's post in Prophecy and Divination).

And when it comes down to it, I highly doubt that many humans would be able to fight the annunaki. Train as much as you want, I doubt you'll get ready in time.

I feel for your loss though. Losing a friend is extremely painful. About him being your only ki teacher though, I personally think that you should stray away from popular ki practices and look into the reality of things.

Now I have the sudden inspiration to start practicing OBE again and try to get out there and meet these guys!!

Love to me is all the good funky mojo that keeps most people alive in this stinky planet[].

But on a philosophical note, love is what you percieve it to be I guess. It can be the physical loving of somebody, to make love, or to love being with someone.

To me, true love is being able to accept that the relationship between you and your significant other is not about yourself, but in fact about being happy TOGETHER. True love is being willing to sacrifice one's own life for the other to be happy. I mean, if you were trying to break someone up just so you could be with them, that is selfish and it wouldn't work out anyways because that person would still be sad about the person they broke up with (because of you). If you really cared about that person, you would leave them to be happy.

Love is balance. Yin and Yang forces equal.

Love is many things.

Moving energy outside one's body in any shape you choose is of course possible. Shooting it in a beam (although not visible) is also possible. Blowing buildings up is possible, though it would take about 200 years+ of training[]. And I also have yet to see people shoot eachother down with invisible blasts of energy. An energy blast helps with quick concentration and external energy control I guess. But a lot of veritas stuff is just like other ki sites like the Underground. Fluffy, bullcrap, or simply not explained right.

Filling your hand with one's internal chi energy is a concept derived from martial arts. I only know this because of sketchy information from a friend who does kyokushin, and he doesn't believe in those stupid sites about going super saiyan. I've also heard some other martial arts mentionings of energy, such as this huge society that teaches "traditional" aikido using ki(PROPER Ki, kiddies, not gokuh4178's Ki[]).

But if healing is possible and increasing one's athletic abilities using energy is possible (taken from NEW Energy Ways []), then why not making a punch hurt a little more than normal?

As with every art, practice practice practice. That's the only real advice I can give you.

Try to practise with someone of equal interests in the subject as you. That way you can both settle down into light trance or just a cleared-mind state and start chatting telepathically for a while. Eventually when you get good at this try sending your partner messages without him being ready, and see if he can pick it up. Then start messing with the modern commoner to see if they can pick up your thoughts. I mean, hearing a voice say "HI!" in your head whilst reading today's school notices can make somebody think they're schitzo.[]

I actually don't have much skill in TP, so I try to practice with my friends as much as I can.

I also caught a glimpse of a documentary on discovery channel on this Planet X. There actually HAS been a sighting of another planet outside our solar system, quite possibly in our solar system but with a very odd shaped orbit. The sighting was by the hubble space telescope me thinks...but anyhoo there was about TWO other planets speculated/seen. Maybe the other one is a moon of nibiru or a really big rock in the cluster of meteors around it.

This could be very interesting. The whole thing about Egypt was in my mind a lot during reading this post. The "higher" humans using the "lower" kind for slave labour brings to mind ancient Egypt, and those pyramids could be inspired architecture from the annunaki.

And about the name of this "goddess." Her name could quite well be Trianna. I mean, cultures change and so do languages. They don't have to be the same as the sumerians called them. In fact, the annunaki could have a number of dialects. Much like the Chinese have about 2-5 dialects I think, perhaps more??

I'd also like to know more about Grays. There was also some system I saw before in this same post called Pre~ something, forgot the name.

I don't like Grays. If I ever saw one my initial instinct would to beat the living crap out of it. But seeing as they've been around for ages, they could be shapeshifters like in the story of Roswell. Evil lil bastards.

I'm starting to get excited about this. This all links in to what kakkarot was talking about on the post in Prophecy and Divination. But then again I don't want people to die. What if people I know and love are destroyed? Would I be able to forgive the "gods?" What if it wasn't even their fault? Would I still blame them? Would I even be able to live without my loved ones??

I have yet to read the replies (there are 3 pages worth O_O) but here are my two cents for now.

Sounds like the Nibiru planet people have been talking about on another post. Those special comets could have arrived last night I think. All around the country, there were reports of "fireballs" flying in the sky. They were huge meteors/comets that sometimes gave off a brilliant blue-green color. Many reports were also heard coming from the US, so says this morning's paper.

So, is the prophecy true? I'm getting chills. I think I'll read as much as I can now and go do something else.

2)Here? No. In my dreams? If I'm lucid. In the astral? Why not?

3)Why yes of course I can fly. Heres the teck: step one stand with your legs apart and then step two shoot tennis ball-sized ki balls out your butt and feet and then jump.[]

I usually try to reply with number 2 because the rest sort of put the guys down - and I try my best to be as mature about it as possible (grabs side-burns, golf clubs, and reformed jazz albums[]).
