Ebele, you don't need to be a magical practitioner to see the Universal Forces working in your life!  You've shown, by your message, that you understand Magic better than 95% of the people on this Forum.

Since your Work is largely unconscious, you a normal person. The magical practitioner is different in that he/she knows exactly what he/she is doing. Since most people cannot keep this level of Awareness 100% of the time, they are not 100% magician, they just have "magical moments."  Remember this the next time you meet someone who calls himself/herself a magician or a witch []

What is OBVIOUS in these trippy states is YOUR STATE.  As above, so below!  Wherever you go, there you are!  If it takes a person 100 trips to figure this out, well, I call those people SLOW LEARNERS. The weak and confused mind will NEVER get to keep the gold, even if he tries 1000 times. It does not matter if he imagines himself a magician.

The Teaching Entities have a vicious sense of humor; they will take your weaknesses and shove them down your throat. If your mind is weak and confused, they will lead you in circles and down dead-end roads.  If you DON'T GET IT, and neglect to take time in the mundane world to work on your weaknesses and develop powerful intent, the next time you go back, the Teaching Entities will give you the same business.  This is how they demonstrate Universal Law to you. They will only work with what you give them.  

Fortunately for those fools out there, hallucinogens are not physically addictive. However, they CAN be emotionally addictive, causing people to believe they're more spiritual and wise than they actually are.  NOTE TO ALL: If you're only wise and powerful while tripping, you're not wise or powerful at all, you're DELUDED.  If you can't bring a Lesson back to the day-to-day and transform your life with it, you're wasting both the lesson AND the drug.

That's either an overstatement or a lie, depending on your personal beliefs, so use your brain!  We spend, or ought to spend, at least 8 hours per day or night sleeping, where our souls travel all sorts of places. (It's not my problem if you're blacking all of it out.) ALSO, if you believe in an afterlife, we emerged from Eternity and will return to Eternity when we die, leaving us Eternity to go wherever we need to go. Which means, in terms of "ordinary life," we spend about TWICE as much time in the mundane world, not 10,000+ times. AND, taken our eternal souls into the equation, we spend much MORE time in other realms than in the mundane world.  Beav, your argument falls apart under scrutiny.

Mundane life is a blessed training ground where we can apply our magical Lessons in a relatively consistent and reliable environment.  DON'T WASTE TIME WHILE ON THIS EARTH.  When you die, you won't be able to ground yourself like you can here.

ONE MORE TIME:  Look around at your life.  It will tell you how powerful and wise you really are.

Folks, do not be upset by Azaithoth, I've concluded that either he's high on crack or acid, or he's a psychopath.  I'm hoping it's drugs, because at least then Thoth has the choice to sober-up . . . and psychopaths can't be helped except by more drugs.

But even psychopathic acid-freaks can be wise (ever read Alice in Wonderland?). Try to look past the moron-personality and his anti-american stance to see what he's actually trying to SAY.  In his more sober moments, he reveals his learned wisdom, and a little bit of poetry, if you are paying attention.

Thoth is trying to tell you that there is a big difference between HEARING with your EARS to PERCEIVING in a VISIONARY STATE.  This I know to be true!  

Sometimes we use the word "hear" as metaphor or analogy.  Actually, we're PERCEIVING communication on an otherworldly level, and our brains have a hard time accepting otherworldly perception, so we tell ourselves we "heard" it.  But we didn't.

Sometimes those so-called voices are just nonsense-garbage-tapes playing back to you, (like the europunk-death-crush-kill-destroy music Thoth listens to). They are debris collected over days/months/years all mixed up and played back to you.  My suggestion is to IGNORE THE NOISE.  It is garbage!

Then again, some perceived messages from the otherworldly realms might have real value, if they come through real strong and turn out later to have been true or useful. It is wise to suspend judgment until you prove yourself right or wrong. When I perceive such information, I write it down and go on with my day.  I keep it for a year.  If is turns out to be worthless, I throw it out. And I NEVER act on a message unless the instruction is life-affirming.

Then AGAIN, if you are REALLY hearing voices - with your ears - and those voices are telling you do do something bad, PLEASE! have a friend drive you to the nearest emergency room and ask for the psychiatric nurse.  You can post messages to the rest of us from your hospital room. Those drugs are good, take them. And peace be with you.

ooh mustardseed you reminded me.  I'm real good at picking up languages and other symbolic systems.  Never had an opportunity to learn more than 3 1/2 languages though - spanish, french, dakota, and a little greek.  

I can effortlessly copy a foreign accent - french with a spanish accent, english with a spanish-celtic accent, english with a southern accent, boston accent, parisian accent, etc. But I can't keep it up unless I do it constantly.  

I tried to post a picture of my daughter sophia (it didn't take), and my kitty pictures are in a format I cant use yet but I WILL fix this!

A general rule is that if you're wondering if you've had the vibrations, you probably haven't.  Most beginners are so taken aback by the intensity of the vibrational state that they freak out!

Vibrations used to hit me with the speed and force of an oncoming train.   It's settled down over time though.

my OBE's started out as weird, frightening, confusing events, but I'm starting to get the hang of it now, and can control when and where they happen.   See my essay (sticky) for more details!

I have epilepsy, I have OBEs.  But they are nothing alike!  I don't think one causes another.  

Also, drugs can do REALLY weird things to your brain chemistry, with aftereffects that last for YEARS.  They can give you seizures and flashbacks to times when you exited your body via drugs.

David's grandfather could move a spoon across the table just by looking at it and thinking about it REAL hard.  All the grandkids would crawl under the table, looking for a magnet, but it was no trick!  His aunt could move the spoon too, but she could only make it wiggle.

As for me, I like the long handled silver spoon for ice tea.  No powdered sugar, thank you.

Exactly.  I don't take the bible literally.  Sometimes I wonder if the people who say they DO take it literally ever actually READ the whole Old Testament!  I sure did, and I sure wouldn't want to act the ways God supposedly instructed people to act way back then.  But this belongs in that other topic, so I'll stop now.

I like to think of them starting in my ears because it's the noise that usually tips me off that something is about to happen.  But then again, it also seems to happen near my solar plexus.  I don't know; next time it happens I'll pay closer attention!

It was definitely an otherworldly experience, and you could call it an OBE, since you definielty had an experience of being "out of body."  But I would be more inclined to call it an instance of clairvoyance, i.e., "clear-seeing."

Remember that topic a few weeks ago - - the Judge and the 10 commandments - -  when certain Astralpulse members argued that the U.S. was (supposedly) built on "christian" foundations?  What about the occult foundations?  There you have it . . . right there on his apron and around his neck - - I rest my case!

That was hysterical!  It's slow to load, but worth it!
