Ah, I've been keeping my hair long for 9 years now, yes, summer is gonna start soon, but it's not that, I've never cut it really short so I'd like to try, and probably I'm gonna keep it short for some 9 years.  :-)

I think I'm gonna shave my head. Can someone show me what I will look like? Think I'm gonna do it anyway, but would like to see it beforehand if possible  :-)

I am a 21 year old black man. I take myself very seriously. I take my black people very SERIOUSLY. I resent any jokes or unwarranted ridicule on my people because it only creates a situation where people start to deny the reality of black people as a whole. For years black people have had to deal with stereotypes that tried to reduce them down to mere animals whose only purpose was to fulfill primitive desires(i.e. such as these disgraceful pictures and depictions of black people gorging themselves on fried chicken and watermelon.)

Now I don't know what kind of black folks your hanging around but to me it sounds like your black friends may not have sufficient knowledge of themselves. Any black man or woman who knows their TRUE history would not make jokes about themselves or their people.

I am a strong black man.
When I walk outside I want the respect that I deserve.
I don't want anybody making jokes about me because I am not a joke.
My black skin is not a joke.
My black ancestors were not a joke.
It was not a joke when they brought my people on slave ships to the Americas.

My reality is real and I am a human being that is capable of experiencing a wide range of emotions. I feel I should be treated with a certain level of respect like everyone else.

This is not a game right here.

Second*N*Line - I see, well, I live in Brazil, 50% of the population is black, the other 50% is a mixture of many races, I think we all get along well, but of course, there is racism over here too, though it's hard to see where it could be coming from, and it is thoroughly condemned (the person goes to jail no bail).

I'm descendand of Portuguese and Natives, the Natives suffered here as much as the Africans, maybe more, it was their land that was taken over, their women were raped, their people enslavered and slaughtered.

Had the Natives been able to rise again like your people did I'm sure they would be proud of it too, to feel good about having the blood from this land running in their veins, and watching their children grow with the hope of a future of dignity.

I'm not the most qualified person to talk about this situation because my country
is a big carnival, I pretty much don't understand racism and all this prejudice, but oh well, I don't understand many other things...

They make jokes about blacks, about blonds, about portuguese, japanese, turks, but they don't make jokes about native indians, it is relieving that some of the black people can laugh now, after all the suffering they have gone through, now they walk upon their feet and solely on their own merit, the indians can't laugh just yet.

Yup, and detailed. The "hows" are very important. Don't worry about when it's gonna happen, but be sure to know exactly how you're gonna do it when it happens.
#408
Yup, I think it's strange too, but what if the blue guy is making jokes about the blue people? I certainly wouldn't be the one making jokes about blue people, but If I knew they liked it and didn't mind it I could even try.

As you said he treated everyone nicely, if the only problem is the content of his jokes then you can always choose not to laugh and respond.

Why do you want to AP? What do you wanna do and how do you intend to do it?
If you can answer these questions positively then you can AP again.
#410
I have black friends that tell me jokes of black people. If they don't have a problem with that then why should I? They think it's funny, I don't know, as long as he doesn't disrespect people I think he's just trying to be fun.

Upstream - That's great. I will try that and post the results. The experience by Gavin Howden was specially informative and interesting, gave me ideas already. Thanks for presenting this great deal of information.

thenoob - Ya, I try to keep it as brief and 'to the point' as possible, but If I knew you would read it I'd add some more details hehe. I bet you can see the scene in your mind. I find it cool when I can visualize other people's stories too.

It's very hard to get there. Don't think the Moon itself is the problem, but leaving the Earth's orbit can be.

There have been quite a few posts on this, you can read some of them by hitting 'SEARCH' up there and typing 'moon', you can search for both topics and messages.
#413
It's great to read posts such as yours. Thank you for sharing this so enthusiastically.
#414
Oh, upstream, so I should kinda exit through my navel? Is there a recommended procedure on how I go about doing this? Is it just felt or I have to use visualizations too? Have you done this, and if so, how different is it from the commom AP (mechanisms)? I'm curious, many times I've tried to break free while I was seeing the real RTZ, but it wasn't possible, I always have to slip into the fake RTZ before I can separate.

Thanks.

True, imagine something of half the power of Hubble watching over the Earth. I bet they can see the drawings I've made on my backyard.

I can tell one thing about all this, that probably no one has said or wants to say, but even then you will know it's true. Suicide rates have increased everywhere in the world after these events, and I'm not talking about suicide bombers.
#418
I'm not from Usa. As an outsider I see these acts with great despise. I was speaking specifically about this incident and based on the informations that I've been shown. Maybe if the bombings in Iraq, Lebanon and Afghanistan had the same coverage and impact to the world's eye as the terrorist attack to the wtc some things would start to change for real. This is not a question of Americans and Arabs or Israeli and Palestinian, it's a question of world's health and sanity.

My answer would depend on your age and location. It can be healthy to have imaginary friends when you are young, it helps you keep in touch with your creative side. I think it would be fun if you could use their help to create drawings, music, poetry, sculptures.

It would be good if you had a pet too.

Empty of people. Because if it was, then they could have exploded that one building since everything was lost already, it would be harmless and profitable (if it's right that you said that they had a 9 billion dollars insurance). Easier to believe than a government planning genocide against it's own people, though it's just as unlikely.

Also, many are forgetting that for the towers to crumble the weight and impact of the plane would just have to destroy a single floor, after one is down then the mass will increase and take one after another, just like seen on the video. Domino effect, not thermite.

Mitch, I believe it is a human instinct, I was trying to fight it but at some point I always give up. When it feels that there is a real danger involved that you might die, you come back, even when that danger is just imaginary. Even though I don't think it was imaginary, I've stayed out for so long that in my head something had to be wrong.

I was afraid that I could be hurting myself by not returning, and that eventually my heart would stop or my brain would die, damn, I don't like to think about these things.

Other times some incredible pain would force me to come back, or someone would grab my arm and drag me back, but this time none of that happened, and it kinda scared me to be out so free. I don't mean to complain, I might have asked for this in the past, all I know is that I really don't know what I want.
#422
Well, its nearer than the Everest. It's in your country.
#424
Thats cool! Yup, some regions won't zoom in too much. I saw that 404 and 407 interchange next to your city, I've only seen those in cartoons! hehe
