First off Chakras are not simply opened or closed like "open" suggests. Chakras are more like muscles. They are about how well they are developed and they are always working. And like developing the muscles of your body you need balance. If you concentrate on only developing say your upper body then your lower muscles will remain weak. Not only will this look odd but your lower body will have difficulty supporting the greater mass of your upper body.

If you are asking what the third eye, 6th chakra, is associate with then it is intuition, insight, and what people dub psychic abilities (but what are psychic abilities other than developed insight and intuition?). Basicly the 6th chakra is about being aware.

Not everyone's perception of a god(s/ess/esses) or divine entity is the same or matches what you have laid out. [:)]

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / Soulmates!!

Ahhh there is always a catch isn't there. A soulmate is not necessarily one that you will have a romantic relationship with. I have met someone that I might well consider a soulmate, but romanticly things did not feel right. I have also talked to many people who have said that their soulmates did not turn out to be the person they were ment to mate with in this life. So, and especially since he is involved in a relationship, it might be best to be careful and not jump into anything too quickly. This might be a test to show you that you can love and care for someone and not be involved romanticly but on a higher level. But who knows what the future or path holds.

Ok, I got what you are saying now. [;)]

I guess my point is, while in current systems people keep track, so that one hour of my time is worth some amount of money which can be worth so much milk and eggs. The moneyless system would not keep track and all things would be available to all. So you would not have to worry about eating because food would be there for you, assuming no major disasters. Though that would be in a "perfect" world, which this one does not seem to be set up that way. Humans would have to evolve spiritually for such a system to work.

I find this thinking kind of hard to follow.   Any research, like cancer research, is an exptremely complex activity, cutting across many many disciplines, from statistics to food to nuclear physics.  In order to be able to control and have access to so much diverse knowledge, as well as organise and maintain all the labors involved, some system of cross valuation must be devised, like money.  Money is the single point where they all cross.  This is a tremendous power, which otherwise would make an organised study impossible.

I am sorry but I just don't understand. You are saying that it is money that is what organizes the study? I fail to understand what you are saying here.

Kiauma, you are thinking within a monetary system. I am talking about moving into a different kind of system where the basis of thought is not compensation for an individual's time. This is clearly not applicable now nor is it something that most people are ready to accept or even understand. I know that it is actually rather difficult to grasp. It took me a long time to be able to understand such a system. Current society is not ready for such a system because they/we have not been "programmed" by society to think is such terms.

Look at it like this, when you do something for fun/hobby, whatever it might be, do you think about how you are being compensated for your time or do you just do it to just do it? A similar shift in attitude/way of thinking would have to take place within society about life and work in general.

Don't feel stupid. These computer contraptions have made all of us feel rather foolish, and still do [:I], at times.

I disagree with your idea on greed. I think the opposite actually. Greed is what causes progression to grind to a hault. It locks up political systems, having the politicians work for their own desires instead of that of the people. Companies will create products of lesser quality to increase profits. Most true advancements come about not from greed but from people who truly wish to make a difference. Those that are just in it for the money usually do not make anything very profound. Granted people with good ideas might make money off of their progress, but motive behind it is rarely money.

Money is really not a necessity, only in our current society. If we would change how we see things then we could do away with it. I actually find our money system rather limiting. As people have said, with money you can do things and make things happen, but that only lasts as long as the money lasts. If there was no money or the idea of exchanging service for payment then there would be no limits. Cancer (or any kind of) research is limited by the amount of money that is available. If there was no money system there would be no limits in our search for advancement. It would be like the Star Trek utopian idea of humans drive not being for finanical gain but for the advancement of mankind.

Humans spend most of the their time doing something they do not wish to do just so they can get those things they do want. Sit in a cubical all day doing the work of someone else. All the while animals are out in the fresh air, running around (flying, swimming), having sex, playing, etc. Hmmm who is the more intelligent creature?

To my understanding your aura reflects your emotions, moods, intents, etc. So being more loving would make your aura reflect that.

One, don't think so much. [:P] If you want something make it happen. What are you expecting? You want apples when you get home stop by the store and buy apples. Then you will have apples when you get home. Funny how some things are so simple. If you want something from life you make it happen. It don't just happen. What good is thinking if you don't act?

Two, you should change your attitude. You will be miserable and down as long as you keep such attitudes. Think positive and suddenly life is much brighter.

Your mental muscles are like any other muscles (well sort of). You need to use them to make them get stronger. I suggest doing memory exercises to help improve your memory.

I fail to understand your question. Here is what Kundalini is:

Main Entry: kun·da·li·ni
Pronunciation: "kun-d&-'lE-nE, "k&n-
Function: noun
Usage: often capitalized
Etymology: Sanskrit kundalinI, from feminine of kundalin circular, coiled, from kundala ring
: the yogic life force that is held to lie coiled at the base of the spine until it is aroused and sent to the head to trigger enlightenment

Practice, practice, practice. You need to work on your concentration. The more you work on it the better you will get at it. It will be best if you can do this throughout the day. Stay focused on what you are doing and don't let your mind wonder.

I think the whole clothes thing is a promotion by the rich and powerful men. Their egos could not handle being shown up by "lesser men" and thus must have "better" clothes so as not to damage their fragile egos.

I think most people find the forums first through a search engine before they find the homepage, if they ever do. It would be really nice and helpful for the newbies if there was a link to the homepage and a sticky in each section linking to relevant guides. *HINT HINT*
#466
Which version are you using? The forums work, though not exactly properly, with both Mozilla and Firefox for me. The only problem I have had is having to scroll down to view the threads (get that nice big gap between the "tool bars" and the rest of the forum). A bit annoying but it is something I can live with as long as it atleast works.

I believe that the Piglet book is called The Tao of Piglet. I have not read either but recall seeing them both at the bookstore.

Here you go, Kazbadan. When in doubt look on Amazon.com. You can check out the PDA's and read reviews by people who have bought them.

Edit: I posted a link but it does not want to work. Just go to //www.amazon.com and search for PDA.
#469
For something handy to just dot down ideas pen/pencil and a pocket notebook would probably be better. To keep all your ideas, files, etc with you then a PDA would probably be best. Those that I know that have PDA's really like them and use them. If are a pocket organizer type person then a PDA is a step up and I am sure you will really like it. Sorry but I cannot direct you towards information on PDA's but a search on www.google.com is bound to give you more information than you could want.

Well each manifestation has something to teach us. There is no guarantee that as a human I won't be eaten, killed, or starve either, but that is just part of life here.

I have to find out who I am before I can forget. [:)] Or maybe I have forgotten and need to remember.

I would love to be a jaguar stalking through a jungle, a bird soaring through the skys, or a fish swimming in the ocean. But for now I will learn what being manifested as a human has to teach me.
#472
Are you contributing to the "miserableness" or are you changing it to be more positive? Life is what you make of it.
#473
Really you already astral project, you are just not conscious of doing it.
#474
Why would you want to take energy from anyone or anything in the first place? There is plenty of energy in the envirnoment free for you to use. There is no need to take from anyone or anything.
#475
Yes, I have orgasmed without any physical stimulation. I can do it now sitting here at my desk if I wish.

As Rastus has pointed out, maybe too subtly, orgasm and ejaculation are two different things. Orgasm is the pleasurable sensations one feels and does not have to deal with the expelling of anything, be it fluid or energy. But this is an odd concept for those that have not been exposed to such ideas. Ignorance is not an excuse so now you know. [:P]
